I read two days ago that 4book yuu will be a boy، Is that true? 💔😞
Tumblr media
That would be false. We currently do not have any official information on our Yuu for the Episode of Scarabia. I believe that this belief originates from a tweet (I saw it the other day, but won't be linking it so as to avoid spreading potential misinformation). The original poster shows a screenshot from an online article which claims that the Scarabia!Yuu is a "boy". However, the website where they got this information from is a random anime news site. Is that credible? What are their sources? Don’t accept everything you read as fact, think about whether it can be trusted or not first.
It's entirely possible that the author of the article mistook Yuu for being male because of precedent. The very first arc, Heartslabyul, featured a boy Yuu. The most recent arc, Octavinelle, also featured a boy Yuu too. The only arc with a girl Yuu, Savanaclaw, is stuck in the middle of the two boy Yuus which makes it more psychologically difficult to notice in a pattern.
It is also possible that the author Google translated the Amazon Japan pre-order listing for the first volume of Scarabia, If fed into Google Translate, the manga synopsis will refer to Yuu by masculine pronouns by default even though the original Japanese text uses NO gendered pronouns. This is entirely possible to do in Japanese--but it's not in English, so the machine most likely inserted he/him pronouns to make the translation make sense in English. In this case, he/him refers to the gender neutral he/him, since a non-human doesn't know how to use they/them in the place of he/him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Side note: I understand the desire for a femme Yuu--especially seeing as much of the fandom is composed of women. But also??? Some of the comments I’ve seen seem really disappointed or even outright hateful towards the mere possibility of a male Yuu, and that saddens me 💦💦 Like... I understand that people are hype for more femme Yuu representation. Many Twst fans are femme and see themselves in Yuu or have femme Yuusonas. I would never want to detract from that excitement--however, that doesn't make it okay to dismiss male Yuus as a whole. Think about what that says to masculine and/or nonbinary Twst fans or those with masc/nb Yuusonas. It makes them feel alienated and unwelcome :/
With this in mind, let's please be more mindful of how we're phrasing our thoughts regarding Yuu(s) and their genders.

I have just finished reading this manhwa entitled “To use an Angel” and I have never felt so sad from how they ended that mahwa (it has 88 chapters)
So much so that Dostoevsky themselves have compelled me, NO, possessed me to make this poem. So here’s a poem fueled by distraught and anguish.
*be warned that this will contain spoilers
**another thing, you won’t he able to get this unless you’ve finished the mahwa

My Yoon Kiom is dead. She died without notice, without the idea that her existence will no longer be there anymore, without even getting to say goodbye to the 2 people she cherished.
Who will mourn for her loss other than her brother? My poor darling creature, she was just beginning to be acknowledged, be wanted, be seen without the premise that someone wanted her just to use her. And now the author consoles us, tells us that you are her. But where is my Yoon Kiom? Where forth is the Yoon Kiom that showed us she was her own person? Where is our Yoon Kiom who resisted of such fate, who, with her persistence wanted to be seen as true? I will speak of it no more. I have already been left of my feeling and never acknowledging ‘that’ as my darling.

Hi Linkara.
I don’t know if you saw my response to you on BlueSky, but I thought I’d just post it here in case you didn’t. If that’s alright with you.
You said that it was weird that Digimon Adventure Tri was incorporating King-Drasil who originated from the 2005 movie Digimon X-Evolution, and has shown up in the tv series Digimon Savers/Digimon Data Squad, the manga Digimon Next and the videogame Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, despite the fact that the Digimon Adventure series is a completely separate continuity from those entries and has it’s own Digital World different from those so it shouldn’t be dropping Digital World lore from completely separate series.
That last part is not exactly true.
According to recent supplementary material, despite there being multiple human worlds in the Digimon multiverse, there is only meant to be one Digital World throughout the entire multiverse. Meaning that all the Digital Worlds you see in the various Anime, Manga and Video Games are all meant to be the same Digital World.
With the official explanation being as to why the Digital World looks and functions differently every time it's seen in a new continuity, is because the various human worlds it links to interpret it differently (which is apparently supposed to be a metaphor for how the fans interpret and interact with the Digimon series differently depending on what media they were introduced to the series with).
Meaning that the King-Drasil you see in Tri, is likely meant to be the same one as in the other continuities, which does make its seemingly random vendetta against humans in Tri make a bit more sense.
The irony of all this lore being focused on in Tri, is that Tri actually contradicts a lot of established Adventure lore and continuity, to the point someone made a 6 part document listing all of said contradictions, and even Hiromi Seki who produced the first four Digimon series and came back for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna and Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning commented on it when clarifying that Tri is still meant to be seen as canon.
And even the lore in Tri regarding King-Drasil doesn’t quite match up, since Tri borrows the conflict between Homeostasis and King-Drasil from the Digimon Xros Wars manga, but completely changes the nature of said conflict and motivations.
The reason for this is due to the fact that the head-writer of Digimon Adventure Tri has apparently shown in interviews that he was not all that familiar with Adventure and Adventure 02.
And according to interviews with other people who worked on Tri he would actually reject advice from other staff members who were familiar with Adventure when they offered suggestions or critiques regarding sticking to/contradicting pre-established continuity and lore, in favour of just telling the other staff members to make the series feel more darker and more mature without actually clarifying what that meant.
Yeah, I saw what you replied there. No need to send it to me over more than one social media site. And the only point I will tilt my head at is this: "According to recent supplementary material, despite there being multiple human worlds in the Digimon multiverse, there is only meant to be one Digital World throughout the entire multiverse. Meaning that all the Digital Worlds you see in the various Anime, Manga and Video Games are all meant to be the same Digital World.
With the official explanation being as to why the Digital World looks and functions differently every time it's seen in a new continuity, is because the various human worlds it links to interpret it differently (which is apparently supposed to be a metaphor for how the fans interpret and interact with the Digimon series differently depending on what media they were introduced to the series with)." Yeah, no, that's bullshit. Not in the sense of what you're saying, but what THEY'RE saying. The Digital World from Adventure is incompatible with the one from Tamers and the one from Frontier. Even putting aside that it's a tortured metaphor to say "different universes just interpret it differently like the fans do from their different mediums," just fundamentally the power players, how evolutions/eggs work, locations, the lore related to Digidestined, their histories and how they were created in conjunction with each different universe, and of course as pointed out - the inconsistent continuity via recurring figures like Drasil just really speak to how this cannot be the same place across ALL the media. Let's not even get into how that means with each series and more human protagonists entering the digital world or encountering it, then they should be running into each other more frequently with the Digital World as a great big multiversal hub - in turn how the digital world spreads out into the various human worlds and why they will enter one and not another... or, of course, if they ARE all the same Digital World, that means that in Tri when they did the big Reboot, IT AFFECTED EVERY SINGLE OTHER DIGIMON SERIES AND RESET ALL THEIR PARTNERS AND FRIENDS/ALLIES. But even if we put aside ALL that... narratively is just dumb. I don't know who the fuck King Drasil is because the only media - THE ONLY MEDIA - that I have consumed in regards to Digimon are seasons 1 to 4. And I'm willing to bet there are plenty who jumped ship at Tamers and even more at Frontier, or who only jumped on AT Tamers, Frontier, Savers, Appmon, or whatever. I only remember so much of Frontier because I only watched through it once, same for Tamers (both good series, as I recall, but still - I wasn't as invested as I still am with Adventure and 02). It is a massive narrative fail to tell your audience who is interested in this nostalgic anniversary series commemorating a SPECIFIC part of Digimon "Oh, by the way, to understand who these people are and what's going on, you need to have watched ALL THESE SERIES, read this expanded universe novel, played this expanded universe video game," etc., etc. Because I guarantee you that that audience hasn't done so and if you're hell-bent on including that stuff, you need to have more proper exposition about, maybe even some flashbacks TO that other media. There's trusting your audience to remember certain things... and then there's assuming your audience remembers EVERYTHING. Now, like you said, apparently the head writer of Tri failed massively here already by not being familiar with the show HE WAS WRITING A NOSTALGIC SEQUEL SERIES TO (WTF, why not WATCH it all then, or why was he assigned to write this at all, then?!) and not taking the advice of those who did, but it feels like at a certain point steps should have been taken to correct this issue, especially when they're doing it for SIX GODDAMN MOVIES.

Hi, saw your Silver post and wanted to pitch in a few thoughts.
First the manga anthology isn’t canon. I don’t think it’s even done by artists that work on the twst team but that’s neither here nor there.
Silver calls Lilia “oyaji” in Japanese which could mean “old man” yes but depending on context it could also be meant politely, not a casual or rude way. In the game Silver always calls Lilia “oyaji-dono”, which is “dad” or “father”, -dono shows respect.
I also don’t remember any time in the game where Silver speaks to Lilia in that rude way or calls out his cooking. Silver usually tries to keep his dad out of the kitchen without telling him to his face his food is bad. He’ll insist he can do the cooking for example. If you can point to some examples of Silver doing this stuff in the game that would be nice.
ref this post (pls standby)
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to go through everything TWST at the moment, so it’s possible I made an error.
I assumed that the first anthology was “canon” in terms of introducing the characters as it was an official source to tease the game. Plus, one of the writers listed is Yana (according to the manga sites anyway). Though in that case Yana may have just past notes along that they built upon, like in BNHA: Vigilantes.
As for his rudeness, I got confused as most translations has Silver call Lilia an old man, which in the USA is seen as rude (though if you’re close, it can also be playful ribbing, which is what I thought Silver was doing). I believe I also got mixed up as Silver laments to everyone that Lilia’s cooking is awful and I swear there’s one scene out there where he make a comment to Lilia about his food, but the closest I can recall off the top of my head is Malleus’ GLOMAS card.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, I concede I made an error. That said, I still love sassy Silver and thus even though he’s not canon in the game, he’ll be canon in in my heart. (And several others apparently according to the notes.)
Thanks for clearing up the "old man" stuff!

2023 post round-up/summary
Lovely @twig-tea tagged me here, so I'll try my hand.
I'd abandoned tumblr for about 4? 5? years 2016ish through 2020, had a short stint with it again in 2020, took peeks and vehemently disagreed with much of what I saw in 2021-2022, and grudgingly settled back in in 2023. I wasn't going to interact. I wasn't.
Jan-April: *crickets* I was being strong!
Then, I saw people moaning about how they'd learn Thai if only it was on Duolingo, and you know how spite can be funnelled into positivity? I did that! Result:
May
Popular: Free Thai Language Learning Resources, most popular by a landslide. This pleases me greatly, as I put a lot of work into it and always hope more people start picking up this language.
Favourite: maybe my thoughts on Ming, piggybacking off @kenmakaashi's post?
June
Popular: my musings on translation and how it relates to fannish reception of media, which was my most popular post of the year and 'broke containment', if only in a very small way. Some of the additions in the tags and reblogs are fantastic, do go have a look if you like!
Favourite: toss-up between my attempt at showing a parallel between a silly moment in Our Skyy 2 x BBS and a scrapped shot from BBS proper and this rant about Romanisations of Thai and why G**gle translate is the devil (that bit is in the conversation downthread), which let me meet @plantsarepeopletoo.
July
Popular: Summary of James Welker's 2006 essay "Beautiful, Borrowed, and Bent: “Boys’ Love” as Girls’ Love in Shōjo Manga"
Favourite: the offerings are slim here … let's go with the one in which I once more was salty about the way folks talk about BL
August
Popular: Only Friends' Ray isn't just The Drunkard, but also The One Who's basically Given Up On Himself, as per his title card (this one was so popular it got stolen and reposted – without credit or permission – to twitter 🙃)
Favourite: Thinking about Drama, the Romance genre, and tropes, and how those relate to our perception of BL (good additions from various folks in the notes; conversation with @visualtaehyun in reblogs and @twig-tea in the replies).
September
Popular: IFYLITA Ep 6 poem context notes
Favourite: toss-up between complaining about badly machine translated content in Love in Translation and musing on the name of Khun Yai's favourite bar
October
Popular: my long-winded answer to @zimmbzon's ask "Hi, how would a non-binary person (me) get around the binary gender rules and vocab in Thai?"
Favourite: uhhh … maybe my musings on honorific translations in kimi ni wa todokanai? (yes, technically a reblog from sideblog, shh)
November
Popular: most popular was this throwaway therapy vent containing food for thought and while I guess this meme is mostly fannish I'm linking it anyway because it's my blog and I'll cry if I want to (or something)
Favourite: when I called out the resemblance between the Last Twilight trailer and Intouchables (2011). Literally no one cared, but then @my-rose-tinted-glasses independently came in strong with receipts as soon as the actual first episode aired and made me feel validated af.
December
Popular: Why I'm pretty sure Last Twilight's "fried rice/false rice" joke was funnier in Thai
Favourite: the saga of the songs in Ep 4 of Last Twilight
I didn't do any round-up posts, but I'll include the other category @twig-tea added:
Five other posts that I want to highlight because I can:
BL Favourites Tag Game (July 2023)
Link to fujoshi.info with information on WHY you should check out that site if you're interested in having an informed opinion on BL and the genre's history.
contemporary issues in Thailand as mentioned in Only Friends ep 1
Thoughts on code-switching in Step by Step
Reply to @mynameisnotthepoint's comment-via-ask on my anti viki rant
I'm not going to tag anyone because I'm completely lost – I was mostly off tumblr for nearly three weeks; if you made a post like this you'd like me to see, please link me/tag me! <3

my online fandom experience in 2007-2008:
-First learned about Death Note by randomly seeing L in an AMV on Youtube in late 2007 and being intrigued by how he looked. Have never watched an anime in my life but wanting to know more about this emo lookin' dude. Found some website where I could stream it, immediately getting spoiled for his death by somebody in the comments on episode 1 (the 2000s was RAMPANT with gleeful spoiler trolls, these were the days of people driving by Harry Potter midnight grand opening lineups for the new books to scream SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE type shit)
-Binge-watched the whole show in a couple of days. Immediately haunted by the "what if"s of Lawlight and start reading fanfiction.net fics about it. Wrote a gushing review on a fanfic and start talking in emails with the writer who writes back to me. I think at the time the most popular Lawlight fic on the site was Poison Apple by RobinRocks (which I didn't read, because I didn't like reading AUs back then, nor did I like the idea of mixing Death Note with Disney princess imagery... my absolute fave fic was Coexistence is Boredom by sakurazukamori6, which was still being updated at the time)
-The Another Note novel and the How to Read 13 were already out, so most of the stuff the fans know now about the characters was already known and being used in the fan stuff by then. I bought the entire manga set at my local bookstore and read the first five volumes of it, but not the rest (because back then I was one of the people who lost a lot of interest in the plot once L was dead)
-Got invited to follow a popular fanfic writer's Death Note LiveJournal where people are doing most of the things you see them doing here, analysis and shipping and fic and memes. However a lot of the journals and communities were private and accessible by invite only, so I only ever saw stuff there as it was filtered through the journal of that one welcoming fandom friend I made
-Got into random private email conversations with the odd fan once I start posting my own fics on ff.net (I wrote one of the very first Beyond Birthday fics). At some point I remember a girl who called herself diane-chan from somewhere in South America emailing me a doujinshi she had scanlated (I think it was called Taikutsu by Balgus REC) and emailing some pics and penpal like letters back and forth. Connecting with other fans was a very slow and individual-like experience compared to something like connecting over social media is now. There wasn't much of anything like online group chats taking place in real-time, per se. I suppose MAYBE you could create one on MSN Messenger or something, but the experience of being in a fandom in general online was just much more fragmented and based on personal individual relationships, I think. Unless you were meeting up with people in person at conventions or something...
-Ships didn't have ship names like Lawlight back then! It was either called L/Light or Light/L, because whichever name came first in the pair indicated who you liked as the top (or the "seme;" people would often say "seme" or "uke "rather than top or bottom back then). They were treated almost like two totally different ships, and you definitely had to tag your fics accordingly or else people would get mad (I am very glad that ship names now exist)
-Omegaverse didn't exist back then either! That was a whole new world I had to get familiar with once I got back into this fandom around 2016 lol (and I still have never really fully got onboard tbh)
-Watched the occasional fan videos on YouTube, often things like Windows Movie Maker slideshows set to music with fanart of the characters or cosplays and the like
-It used to be REALLY hard for me to find clips of the show to use or edit or anything like that. The English dub still wasn't out yet anywhere I could watch it when i was into the show in 2008, but I remember hearing L and Light's English voice clips and thinking that L's was great and Light's was a bit cringe in comparison to the Japanese one. I wanted to watch it again but I didn't want to have to have an internet connection at all times to watch it, so I bought some shitty ripped illegal DVD of the Japanese dub on eBay from China, and it came with extremely lolworthy broken English subtitles (stuff like Light reading that passage out loud in class and the subtitles saying "the wisdom of the sheepus"... that one is burned into my brain)
-Trying to connect with other fans in person about it was not really possible for me where I lived? Being into anime was considered extremely cringe at my school at the time. And other people I knew who had watched or read Death Note either simply weren't that interested in it anymore to the same degree, or were usually straight dudebros who were only into it so far as to think about which character was smarter than which
ANYWAY I say all this just to reminisce, and I will always enjoy how easy it is to connect and share the content with the other fans like it is nowadays, because I remember the days when that was much more difficult hahaha

I closed the door to Bl/each after the tragedy of 6/86 and briefly opened a window to LA, because well that pair is my weakness and it made me laugh how treacherously I/R it was.
So when weeks ago I saw a beautiful I/R fanart on Tik Tok (The anime came back, so the algorithm decided it was a good idea to torture me), and the response to a comment that said "They should have ended up together "was "READ THE MANGA", I was baffled. I mean, what did that mean? had I read a fake manga all those years and the "real manga" appeared Da Vinci Code-style after 2016? Was it all a Jump conspiracy? Have we been duped all this time?
That piqued my curiosity, so I wandered around several sites, reading publications from the "correct/canon/real manga" point of view; and well, you'll see even worse things the bible says.
Here are my favorites:
"The I/H was evident from the beginning, just read chapter 0": yes, because a one-shot that is a sketch of the general idea of a manga, that goes through many revisions and rewrites is absolutely determinant in the development of the main manga, and seriously, what exactly is the evidence?
"HM arc is the ultimate proof of I/H, he went to rescue her and even came back from the dead for her": well, so did her other friends and even R/enji and R/ukia, maybe they were all in love with her too. And about the resurrection...just...never mind.
"I/H are perfect for each other" Here I could do a whole essay from a psychological point of view that proves that it is an absolute fallacy and was more than clear in the FB arc, in real life they wouldn't work and would be a toxic couple. And God knows at least that boy needs therapy.
"O***ime looks like Ma/saki" * Bombastic side eye. Criminal, offensive side eye *
"O***ime deserves I/chigo”: Oh, so he was some kind of trophy for being a good girl, so it wasn't enough to objectify her, they also do the same with the boy.
"Ru/kia was a shinigami and I/chigo was a human, and she's much older than him, their relationship was impossible." *Everything but the rain entered the chat*.
"I/H fought together against Y/wach": And we all know how well they (he) did, right?
"W/D/k/A/L/Y": *sigh* that's what it looks like when you try to fix a mess and fail miserably.
"W/D/k/A/L/Y's scribble": ...
"Anime invented IR": The studio simply pushed something that was already implicit in the original material and they knew it would sell more, it's basic marketing. Most of us knew what was filler and what wasn't (rolls eyes).
And there definitely wasn't a parallel manga that magically made sense of that ending. What a disappointment.
And I/R are the delusional and lacking in compressive reading? It's so much easier to say you just don't like people ship I/R, instead of sending them to read the manga or giving lazy arguments. Pathetic.
This was long, but I just needed to vent or something, because I honestly found the whole situation absolutely hilarious.
My English is broken, so I hope I have been understood.
PS: So in my delusional mind I/R is right now enjoying his honeymoon on the beach *wink**wink*.
Blessings.
As someone that didn't leave after the ending and has seen all these "amazing points" take form and basically became the classic "IH and pro ending dudebro agenda" list, let me tell you, I was and still am baffled too. No matter how many times I read them, I still get shocked at how some really believe that bunch of BS, or better they keep repeating it untill they'll believe it.
You adressed them in a simple but direct and straight to the point way, I don't even need to add anything to what you said, agree to all of it, wait lol well maybe I could add the the pilot chapter lit has In0ue de0d at the end of it but what do we know, that doesn't seem to matter to them lol it doesn't have to make sense smh
In our delusional mind that ichiruki honeymoon on the beach is so vivid and real... I wonder why lmao

We’re back with more replies! Long ones today…
Anonymous asked:
Can you recommend us any tumblrs to follow?
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend any tumblrs either… we don’t even have a feed here, we just drop posts and leave; I am sorry. 😔 It’s easier to check my tl when it’s only my art there lol Once again, read this as an invitation to share your favourite blogs in the comments.
Anonymous asked:
Hello! I'm the anon from the headcanon ask about TreyRidChe and wanted to thank you for answering! I had to dig because for some reason the tag system wasn't working and I was never sure if it got answered until today! Again though as someone who likes TreyRiddle first and foremost (so the bias was perfectly acceptable) I do agree Che'nya would be more a provoker especially from what I've seen in the manga. (It's really in the way Trey was so much more enthralled by Riddle from certain pages.)
I am happy to hear from you again, Anon! And I am very glad that you found the post despite all the issues with the tags… it’s very difficult to find posts on this site sometimes, especially when there are so many of them, and the notifications don’t work all the time either. 😔 (By the way, here is the post that Anon is talking about!)
Also, I completely agree with you, I still think that their dynamic is basically like this. Like I’ve said in the initial post, Che’nya loves Riddle, but doesn’t mind sharing and ultimately wants his friends to be happy, and he knows how hopelessly in love Trey is with Riddle. The manga panels with these three are so pretty and filled with emotions…
Anonymous asked:
Omg I just saw your other reply about not liking ship kids, I'm so sorry if my previous ask made you uncomfortable or something ;;;
-Idia's womb tattoo anon
Anon! No worries whatsoever, this isn’t related to it and you didn’t make us uncomfortable at all. Like I said, there are certain scenarios in which we enjoy the theme, and if it’s dark and/or kinky, the chances of us being on board are always higher. Moreover, your ask is related to a comic that we posted ourselves, so it’s all good – we started it >:3c
What we don’t like is the 100% wholesome and genuine “our baby is kicking, can you feel it?”, “passing out because he’s just found out he’ll be a father” thing. Nothing against it, it’s just not our thing. I’m also just taking my time with a lot of asks because I want to reply properly, but my brain is small and my limit is a couple of replies per day 😔 This is why I am slow…
Thank you for your concern though! And I’ll reply to you in a moment 👀
Anonymous asked:
Random, but since you imagined you don't like pregnancy tropes, does that also count for MPreg? (which stands for male pregnancy)
tbh, MPreg is not my thing, but suddenly remembered that, that’s a thing. This brings me back to the good old days of hetalia cuz this fandom had a LOT of Mpreg going around, lol.
But in a world of magic and such is not impossible? I mean, Malleus did come from an egg, so like, yeah.
Just like I said in a previous reply: it depends on how it’s used. If it’s just a happy family, and the purpose of mpreg in the story is simply to put characters in the scenario in which they are expecting, it’s absolutely not for us; it could even get triggering at times. Even in terms of kinks, sometimes it works well, but sometimes it turns into a massive squick. I can’t even describe it in a way that would be 100% conclusive; it’s a delicate topic, I guess. If it’s more messed up or if there are darker themes involved, it’s much more likely to work, and with mpreg it has a lot of potential to be messed up by definition.
When it comes to possibility and magic, yeah, twst universe gives a lot of opportunities to make mpreg happen! Be it convenient magic, unique reproductive systems of certain species, or even something that simply exists in-universe. It’s funny that you mentioned Malleus because the idea of him being able to lay eggs certainly pops up in our conversations from time to time… the mechanics of that, the implications, the complicated relationship Malleus would have with it and stuff; there is a lot to talk about. (We actually have a kinky comic where he lays an egg and Lilia crushes it, but completely forgot about it... it’s been a while.)
And Azul too, I think we talked about him making Idia carry his eggs at some point. When it’s animalistic like that, it’s much more fun because it’s less real, more weird and a bit gross <3 which automatically makes it hot because Idia would be freaked out the entire time.
So yeah, it all depends, and honestly goes from -100 to 1000 at times lol, so it shouldn’t stop you from sending asks. If the theme is something that we don’t like or have nothing to say about, we’ll just skip it.
(oh god, good ol’ hetalia days! I guess we missed all the mpreg- or just erased it from our memories lol)
Anonymous asked:
have you ever considered Sebek/Leona?.
(you view Sebek as a top and Leona as a bottom so it doesn’t break your no switching rule right?)
Leona would get a kick out of “stealing” Malleus’s little boytoy form him and setting out to do so.
while Sebek the poor naive gullible croc has no idea how even ended up fucking Leona in the first place let alone that it was happening to get under his liege’s skin…
who knows if it even work to piss Malleus off though.
You know Anon, miraculously we did talk about these two in a couple of posts!
What’s interesting about this ship is that Sebek has no idea where to put Leona in his mental scale of important people: he really doesn’t like him, he hates how Leona treats Malleus, but he is also supposed to respect Leona nonetheless (Lilia and Malleus both remind him of that) + doesn’t like being dismissed by Leona for some reason. So if Leona wants to provoke Sebek into sleeping with him somehow, it’d be easier than one might think: Sebek really is gullible… but if he learns about Leona’s motive behind seducing him, he would get so angry and also disappointed in himself that he might actually attack Leona and get in trouble for that lol
Although the thing is, there is a big problem with Leona’s plan: if Sebek is having an active affair with Malleus (= being his little boytoy), it won’t be easy to seduce him. And if Sebek isn’t having an affair with Malleus, Malleus probably wouldn’t care much. So was the croc dick even worth it, Leona?

hello, i saw that you are releasing Chapter 25 and clicked the link and only saw the raw version is there any way you can share the translated version as on manga sites the chapter isnt completed if you feel uncomfortable doing so i completely understand as ive read a couple of your comments about stolen work.
Hey, i'm unsure as for why the official group hasen't updated Chapter 25 yet.. I'm kind of scared that it's because they have seen my work floating around. I'll not be sharing the translated chapter any time soon. Send me a message, and I can give you access to the translated chapter. Just to let you know, if I do that and I see anyone share panels from the chapter that has not already been shared, I'll block everyone that has access to the translated chapter.

hellow, i hope so far you´re doing ok since i saw you were struggling a bit with your health. though i'm quite new to your content i finally got the time to check some of your writings, i'd say i ended pretty hooked on them ahsfgsdjhs, tbh i'm not much of a fic reader of anything at all, specially since i don't think i have seen anything sailor moon related since my teens lmao. But i still wanted to let you know that i'm glad i have found it, as i tried to recall some about the pgsm plot (there's a chance i must have ended rewatching it ahsjhdsj and my gosh there were so many subtle things i missed 'cause i watched it when i was quite young haha) there were some other things that came to my mind that i wish were explored on the series, curiously most of it i found it on your fics 🤣 (i really like the way you expanded the pgsm characters through your stories) there were even some parts when i could 100% visualize them, may i have randomly doodle some stuff, who knows(?, oh! and your drawings as well, i saw this one about the Final Act *chef kiss*👌
There are other things i'd like to comment but i don't want to spoil anything as in Ao3 there are only 6 of the rest unlike the other fic site; i'm a big fan of the V manga (it's probably the one i sometimes read to remind myself why Minako is one of my fave characters ever! though my 11 year old self would disagree cause was obssesed with Manga/tokusatsu Mars😂 ) and also the continuity of the past life lore, whether if at some point in a near future as long as you're doing ok, please take care, for real. I'm looking forward to stay tuned if there's anything new from you 🙌
omg omg omg omg!!!!
You are the sweetest! 🥹Thank you for dropping by and leaving this lovely message in my inbox. Your keyboard smashing makes me go askdfhdsafdk as well! It's the highest praise one can give me. LOL😂
And jfc your amazing EoT based art? And there's potentially more doodles???? I can't believe that's happening to one of my stories. It's just not something I thought would ever be possible I don't even know what else to say except for repeating 'thank you' x10000 time.
Your message definitely encouraged me to finish chapter 7 instead of stalling some more. Made my week knowing one more person enjoys my attempt at writing a sequel. <3 My plan for the story is so ambitious sometimes I wonder if I'll be able to finish it. I even have plans to write a past life prequel and hope to do a bridging Black Moon story before introducing a Mugan arc sequel to EoT... That's 3 more stories total... and right now writing at a snail's pace, I don't know if that's ever possible... :'(
I'm finally on the road to recovery so it's getting easier for me to sit in front of my laptop for hours on end again. I've been mostly using video games to distract myself from the discomfort coz I can easily change positions while holding the console with no problem. With a laptop... there's a limitation with the keyboard for writing and the mouse for drawing. (LMAO I still use a mouse to draw. Never learnt to properly use a drawing tablet, even though I bought one long ago it just gathering dust now...)
Yeah... I think I peaked with the final act illustration when it comes to fanart. lol Knowing I did manage to make something with a quality that even surprised me, I've been overthinking and overcomplicating all the new ideas I want to do and then my brain and hand freeze and things are left as wip. 🙈
I'm really glad you enjoy my blog content. I practically owe my life to PGSM, I Iove the series with my whole being, cheesiness and faults and all. So it makes me really happy when my blog can help introduce or reignite interest in the series for other people! <3
I hope you don't mind me posting this reply instead of responding privately. I want to keep your message archived on my blog coz I love it so much. <3

Hi guys! This is my updated about me post since the old one was kinda cringe lol. So this one is now going to be the post that talks about me.
I am a very nostalgic person so if I come across content that I saw as a little kid, or a place that was a big part of my childhood then my mind tends to get flodded with memories about that thing or place. So you might start seeing some reblogs on this blog about things that I grew up with.
I really love pokemon generation 5, the games, the anime, and the manga. Even though as a little kid I grew up with Gen 3 for the games, and Gen 6, and Gen 1 for the anime, Gen 5 is my favorite one, and I am kind of obsessed with it!! Like I have so many headcannons for the characters and they are my hyperfixation for fanfiction. Even though most people didn't like the pokemon best wishes anime, I loved it when I watched it for the first time and I still love it. It is my comfort show and I am proud that it is.
I created this blog and joined the community because I didn't have anybody in real life that I could talk about my common interests with. I was heavily encouraged to find people in real life who had the same interests as me, but it was difficult since I am introverted and quiet around other people my age so when I tried to talk to them, they weren't interested in becoming friends. But I now have met very nice people on this site who could talk about Pokemon BW all day with me. So thank you very much everyone!
Favorite Music Artists: Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavinge, and P!NK

Least favorite pairings: Amourshipping, Cookieshipping, Ikarishipping, Any Incest or AdultXChild ships.

Mokumoku Ren interview
Source: Chanmei for Real Sound, 5th July 2022
The manga The Summer Hikaru Died has exploded among Generation Z via TikTok, Twitter and other social networking sites. It has sold over 200,000 copies in just three months since the first volume was released and is currently nominated for the 'Next Comic Award 2022' in the web manga category. (Voting is open until 11 July).
What if one day your friend who is always next to you is suddenly replaced by a completely different "something"? This story begins with such a bizarre transformation. The story is peppered with unintentionally chilling horror elements, such as a claustrophobic country town, eerie folklore and unexplained incidents, but also vividly depicts the complex emotions that swing between Hikaru, who has become "something", and Yoshiki, a boy who cannot leave his friend's side.
Horror or bromance? ....... How was this work, which captivates readers with its depth of story and overwhelmingly high level of artwork that is hard to describe in one word, created? We interviewed the author, Mokmoku ren. (Chanmei)
The inspiration for the idea came from my high school days
Q: First of all, how did you come up with the idea for The Summer Hikaru Died?
Mokmoku Ren: I first came up with the idea when I was in high school. When I was studying for exams, it suddenly occurred to me that it would be nice and interesting to have a manga like this. I didn't want to be a manga artist at the time, but I always liked thinking about stories and detailed setups.
Q: First of all, how did you arrive at the serialisation?
Mokmoku Ren: It was like ...... where I constructed the stories I wanted to read in my head, so at first I had no intention of showing them to anyone. So for the first few years after I came up with the idea, I didn't even put it in writing, let alone in comics. Then, around January last year, I happened to have some spare time, so I drew a picture of what I had in my head. When I posted the drawing on Twitter, it got a lot of buzz, and that's when I was approached by the editorial team.
New readers from TikTok, not just "buzz".
Q: First of all, even before the first volume of the book was released, cosplay videos of the characters were being posted on TikTok and became a hot topic. How did you feel when you experienced the 'TikTok buzz'?
Mokmoku Ren: Suddenly the Twitter response got better and I was like, "What's going on?" I thought, "What's going on?" and then I heard that I was getting attention on TikTok. So, I first tried the TikTok app and watched a lot of videos, and at first I was a bit surprised at the generation gap, or at the fact that "this is what kids are like nowadays" (.....). I was a bit surprised (laughs). (laughs) When I looked at the comments on the videos, I felt a similarity to myself when I was in high school, and it made me feel nostalgic, like 'things don't change all the time'.
Q: First of all, what were some of the most impressive comments?
Mokmoku Ren: There were many different comments, such as "This author is definitely psychic!" or "I'm concerned about what's going to happen to this author" or "I'm worried about what's going to happen to me". Also, I can't remember where I saw this, but a reader had her own father read her work, and she said, "My father used to see these ghosts too! He said, "My father used to see this kind of ghost too!", which was a bit funny (laughs).
Q: In addition to the cosplay videos, the famous manga-introducing TikTokers were also pushing this work very hard, weren't they?
Mokmoku Ren: I think a lot of videos related to The Summer Hikaru Died were getting a lot of attention, and I was really grateful that the manga introduction TikTokers were explaining in great detail about the appeal of the work and where to read it. Thanks to that, it didn't just get popular, but it was connected to the work and the number of readers increased.
Q: First of all, has the TikTok Buzz triggered any changes in your Twitter follower base?
Mokmoku Ren: The TikTok Buzz led to a huge increase in comments from young readers on Twitter. Until then, I had the impression that there were a lot of adult readers, so I'm very happy to have young readers like this. I think they will read it for a long time to come, and I hope that The Summer Hikaru Died will become part of their youth. ...... I still love the manga I liked when I was in junior high and high school, and I'm still very much influenced by them. So I would be happy if I could be a part of that kind of existence.
Influences from 'Honkaku', 'Shin-Mimibukuro' and 'Here it Comes'.
Q: First of all, what did you like when you were a student?
Mokmoku Ren: I loved 'Tokyo Ghoul' and read it a lot. I read a lot of other things, but I was often impressed by battle manga like those in Weekly Shonen Jump and Weekly Young Jump.
Q: First of all, The Summer Hikaru Died has strong elements of human drama and horror, rather than battles.
Mokmoku Ren: In manga, I like battles and used to read them a lot, but my overall tendency is to like horror. I've really loved horror ever since I can remember, and I used to watch and read horror stories and films all the time. Maybe because of that, I've always wanted to draw horror.
Q: First of all, what is your favourite horror film?
Mokmoku Ren: I used to watch a lot of 'Honsaku' (Really Scary Stories). I also love the TV drama Shin Mimibukuro, which has influenced me a lot. I also love the film "Here it comes" and its original stories "Bogiwaan ga, kuru" and "Shishiriba no ie" (The House of Shishiriba), as well as horror novels by Itomo Sawamura. The words "Bogiwaan" and "Shishiriba's House" are so scary that you feel like, "Eh, what? They are very scary (laughs). (Laughs) I like novels that have a kind of 'unexplained unpleasantness' in the expression of the bizarre or so-called ghosts.
Unexplained unpleasantness, onomatopoeia ...... Commitment to expression
Q: First of all, from the 'ku' scene (see image), I felt the 'unexplained unpleasantness' that Mokmoku Reng-sensei was talking about. It was very scary (laughs).
Mokmoku Ren: This is because, as well as the 'Honkaku' and 'Shin-Mimibukuro' books I mentioned earlier, I also like the occult board on 2ch, 'Why don't you collect scary stories that are so frightening they'll scare you to death?
Q: First of all, in terms of your drawings, are you particular about horror expressions?
Mokmoku Ren: I often get compliments on the way I draw onomatopoeia. I try to use expressions that you don't see very often, such as "sha-sha-sha-sha". However, I am quite conscious of whether it works properly and effectively as an expression.
Q: First of all, there was already a huge amount of onomatopoeia from the drafting stage.
Mokmoku Ren: I wanted the onomatopoeia to stir up a sense of dread, so I wanted the reader to be able to read it clearly. There are ways to draw these onomatopoeias by hand, but I thought it would be better to use digital typesetting because the reader would see them even if he or she didn't want to. Another reason I chose to use typesetting was that my handwritten text would have been half as scary.
Q: First of all, I can sense your extraordinary attention to visual expression, such as wanting the reader to be able to read the onomatopoeia clearly.
Mokmoku Ren: I put a lot of thought into that. When there is something I want the reader to read, such as onomatopoeia, I am conscious of the proportion of the onomatopoeia in the story and how much of it is going to reach the reader's eyes.
Q: How would you describe the features of the characters?
Mokmoku Ren: veins and sweaty ..... I don't use expressions like that very often. For example, if there is a scene where a character is shocked or impatient and walks away from a scene, I might say that he bumps into a chair as he walks away and the chair falls over with a thud. I want to express the emotions of that moment in action, without using marks such as veins or sweaty sweat. In this way, the sound is quite important, not onomatopoeia as I mentioned earlier.
Horror and bromance have a strong affinity
Q: We have asked you in detail about the expression of horror, but how do you balance it with the bromance elements such as the friendship and love between Yoshiki and Hikaru?
Mokmoku Ren: Actually, I keep the horror low key. There are times when I really want to draw something scarier, but I'd rather draw something that appeals to the emotions, like 'kuru kuru kuru kuru ......', rather than just making it scary. I want to draw something that appeals to the emotions. I also think that in terms of appealing to emotions, horror and bromance are a bit similar.
Q: Horror and bromance are similar. ......
Mokmoku Ren: The feeling of resemblance is probably related to the 'suspension bridge effect'. In psychology, it's like you're more likely to develop romantic feelings for someone you meet in a place where you feel a strong sense of anxiety and fear, like on a hanging bridge. In the case of horror, it is the thrill of not knowing what horror will happen next, and in the case of bromance, it is the thrill of "what should I do ......" when, for example, you get into a fight with a friend and the atmosphere turns nasty. It's like we have the same physiological arousal of excitement, so we can mistake the cause for the reason. When I actually draw, I think that horror and bromance have a high affinity.
Chapter 11: "I knew I was going to come up with a good illustration", as recommended by the editor in charge of the story.
Q: First of all, please tell us about your favourite scene and the scene you had difficulty with.
Mokmoku Ren: The last scene of the first volume. It's the end of the first volume, so I was very particular about the tempo and rhythm of the story. In terms of difficulties, I always have a hard time thinking about the structure of the story. I can think of many things I want to depict and many stories, but I have a hard time connecting them one by one or asking myself, "Which part shall I focus on first?" So I consult with the editor in charge of the story.
Q: First of all, what are the upcoming highlights?
Mokmoku Ren: Episode 11, which will be released on 26 July. I put a lot of energy into drawing it.
Editor in Charge: I thought from the stage of the name meeting that the drawings for episode 11 would definitely be good, but the drawings were really great (laughs), so I hope everyone is looking forward to it.
Q: First of all, please give a message to the readers.
Mokmoku Ren: Only one volume has been released and the story is really in the early stages, so please visit ....... I'm sorry to be nominated for the Next Coming Manga Award 2022 in the web manga category in such a state, but I'm very grateful. In the future, new characters are scheduled to appear, and I think they are going to be very good characters (laughs). So I would be very happy if you could continue to keep a warm eye on me.

don't worry about everyone ganging up on you because of the site's infamous piss-poor reading comprehension
ignore people who take you for someone into that, they're just the type to spend their days eager to find someone to shame and feel superior to, otherwise they would have taken the time to properly read what you submitted c:
I'm not really into manga and anime as a whole so I won't participate in the og post, but most mainstream ones don't have that I think? the only time I saw weird stuff was when watching those "anime moments" compilations, but I don't know if it's that common in all anime?
anyway, I have heard that some people think that most manga and anime is full of fetish stuff, which isn't really fair, so good on you for trying to find examples of stuff that isn't

Hii, i saw you posted screenshots of a yandere manhwa and i just wanted to PSA that it isn't encouraged to share any pics of manga/manhwa that are translated on any social media platforms because if scantilation groups get found out, they could face legal charges! That also means they will be forced to stop translating and then no more manga 😢. You can post raws or without translations for the most part but some artists send out cease and desists for even reuploading snippets so be careful with how you guys are reposting! -sincerely almost got a major lawsuit before
The main issue seems to be with Instagram, that’s the only site I’ve ever seen scanlation team comment on. Tumblr is barely even considered a social network, we’re literally a meme, so I doubt there’s much checking going on here from the OG teams to try and get lawsuits against scan teams. As a yandere fan, I live by blogs that share yandere content, its way too difficult to try and find otherwise because it’s not like there’s some database of yandere content, sharing like this is unfortunately all we have.
If the team(s) contact me and ask me to take it down, I’ll of course oblige, but I really don’t think a tumblr blog with less than 2000 followers on the niche side of the website is much of a threat to them.

Actually it's not only anime onlys who had bizarre assumption about the relationship in Jigokuraku. It happened to the manga readers too. I saw these comments on the manga site where I read Jigokuraku like "OUCH THE FALSE HOPE?? HE'S SO CRUEL" on what happened at chapter 126. Like some people really think Sagiri was dumb enough to invest her heart and hopes on a man who obviously loved nobody but his wife, like he was giving her a chance to be with him. Then other thoughts like "AWW I CAN'T BELIEVE MY SHIP IS SINKING! THAT'S SAD!" on the epilogue chapter 127. So what did they expect? Or they expecting a chapters of love drama that never existed in the first place? Gabimaru comes home with Sagiri and says " Yui I'm really sorry, you were the only one for me but now I love Sagiri too. I can't choose betwen you toi. So goodbye for now, I'm off to Edo with her". Just thinking some people sounded like they read the manga with eyes half opened.
You're so right because sometimes i see things and its like "Did we read the same manga?" Like the Chobe and Bakugo comparisons have almost made me go :< cause they're nothing alikeeee.
But that's besides the point, like its so weird cause there are MANY (frankly too many) series or media with this weird ntr or cheating type romance plot they want, so why do they want to project on Jigokuraku so badddd??? Just like...go read something else?

Language: Eng & Traditional Chi | 語言:英+繁中
I’m going to post in both Traditional Chinese and English.
I’m from HK. English is my second language, and writing is my weak point cough, in both languages, cough :D Warming up to the idea of expressing through words :)  I tend to write in Eng more than Chi, that’s why I wrote this ‘manifesto in Eng…
BUUUUT here’s the thing, I watch anime with Chi subtitles and only read Chi online novels 🥴 (Eng novels are printed books from PJO to HP, Lord of the Flies to The Landlady, online … well does fanfics count)
I did consider Cantonese, as that’s my native tongue and it is in desperate (?) need of conservation and promotion. Yet, I’d like to reach more audience, so Chinese seems to be more probable 🤔.
---
Why did I write this 'manifesto'? Cringe…| 寫'宣言'幹嘛,不尬嘛?
🙈 ha… slightly cringe cough . I saw Ali Abdaal suggested the first post of a channel can be explaining what people will get from this and why I started this. This sets as a lighthouse for future me and verbalising an intention has been proven to be important in maintaining motivation. This seems applicable to blogging too so I wrote this.
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading through. if you think you would like to chat about Anime and Online novels, or find it funny to follow the growth of an absolute beginner blogger, Like this post and Follow me :)
