this was a spoken command. they stalled and... it wasn't everything they actually had stopped moving. but the command echoed, echoes, and they found the soul tugging forward, even if not in the way that they were used to.

they'd still have to do this, but it was different. this was more visceral, they felt it. they felt it and it and it was abrasive, foreign, forceful... but it was weaker. with another lunge of the soul commanded, they took a staggering couple of steps to alleviate the pressure in their core. it was enough to calm it down. A hand rubs the chest for a moment, ease the ache. a thought flickers, but was immediately shut down.

...they had some wiggle room in this. this puppeteer didn't know what they were doing. They... they can work with this.
