Anime/mangalist: the hearts that break; the lessons it makes

All that I put here are more of a personal list; stories that speaks of life lessons to the heart. Stories that speak of learning from pain and all that life gives you. Stories that hurt but confront you; stories that break you and mend you. These are the stories I feel are still deserving of love, even after many years have past, just as some are relevant tales that's worth sharing nevertheless. All that I list are stories I think prove that stories can change your life; its just a matter of understanding its meaning. ik its good that i’m going to all these auditions and callbacks but oh my god cielo is Tired

#i feel like my life hasn’t slowed down since like. march #i feel like i’m blinking and i’ve done 10 more auditions and suddenly it’s another month gone #trying to maintain my irl relationships and online ones and i feel like i’m drowning a lil #hate the stage actor life of like…..Two Jobs….#like the callback last night was damn near 3 hours after a full 8 hours of Money Work #working like 12+ hour days #and when i’m in shows and my rehearsals are like 4+ hours after work #like why can’t we just pay actors enough to do this as their sole income #so i can just work 8 hours stage acting #and come home and rest 😭#ik one day this will pay off and i’ll do theater full time but it cannot come fast enough fr……#will answer asks tonight 💗 i’m behind on everything jfldjskjsksa i apologize #cielo rambles!

just wrapped the first christmas present of the year ❤️

#for my friend who hates presents of course 😂#its the stupid teddy bear onesie he has magically instantly putgrown BOTH the previous times i got him one it fit him for like a week 😤#so i got it in the next two sizes up and that's that!!!!#babies grow so fast wtf never buy clothes as a present for a baby that's all i can say #but i can't accept defeat so here we go #his mom will appreciate it even tho she doesn't like getting presents tho lol #and its insane to give christmas presents before thanksgiving but for all i know this baby is gonna outgrow them both by then #i literally bought the size 9-12 months like last month #i ordered it immediately after his mom told me she THOUGHT HE WOULD BE IN THAT SIZE SOON #and it was already too toght on him when it arrived a week later 😭#so now i got size 12-18 and size 18-24 this baby's gonna be cozy this winter or else!!!#i cannot afford this btw #the original onesie was pretty cheap it was o. sale for like $17 but then i bought it twice #and the size maxed out at 9-12 months #so i had to upgrade to a toddler one and it was $22 and i got two of them again plus shipping #and i only make 14 dollars an hour and i'm lucky to work even two days a week at my new job lol #im putting off getting a second job until after i cover a coworkers maternity keave in feb tho bc then i def would be full time #for at least 6 weeks #and its possible she might decide not to come back or another aide would leave by then #so i might have an opportunity to be full time by then ir at least close to that #anyway #no money november fr 😔#just realized my tags are confusing my friend is the mom not the baby 😂#she's the one who gates receiving gifts bc she feels awkward lol #but she's broke af and can't afford clothes for her baby let alone cute ones and she loved the onesie when she fot it at her baby shower #but then the baby came a week and a half late #he was supposed to be a march baby he was born in april #and all of a sudden it was too warm for the onesie and he inly got to wear it once #so i was like ok i will get another one in the fall/winter then #but alas

tell me why my mom complained about how late it was on the drive home from picking me up because my ride bailed on me and then proceeded to NOT GO TO BED when we actually got home.

#to be clear we had our first marching band performance today and then after the football game we all went to ihop #which meant i was Inside The ihop until 12:30 and my mom had to come get me #and i was already not excited to make that phone call because i knew she would have something to say about it #and guesss whattttttt she absolutely did #and then we got home and she woke my dad up to talk about me but i couldnt hear all of what they were saying #and then she went and turned on the tv for some reason

#spent all day helping my best friend move into her new flat #and it was really lovely to be able to be there for her and help her unpack and set everything up #bc her bf (one of my other flatmates) is going travelling for a couple of years in march so obvs he's moving out and they're breaking up #which is why SHE had to move out bc she couldn't afford the rent on a double room by herself #and she's only just moved down the hill like literally a five minute walk which is obviously amazing #she's not ages away yk #and she's moved in with our mutual friend which is nice too #but on a selfish note now i'm left behind in a flat with four 20 year old couples #and i'm now the outside friend like i'm the one who has to go home yk rather than being the one in the home #and i'm just dreading being alone so much of the time like cooking dinner alone and coming home from work and being alone etc #and i'm worried as well that in the new flat they'll get really close and i'll be like forgotten about and left behind #and i know this is all catastrophising and mind reading and all those therapy phrases #but it just sucks. it really sucks #i had to walk home in the rain just now up the hill at half 12 at night #and i cried the whole way because it just all sucks so bad #i knoooooow obviously there's worse problems in the world there's people that are dying kim etc etc #but i'm just very sad about it right now. very very sad about it #so it's 1am and i'm going to sleep and i will wake up at 4am for the match and arsenal better fucking pull through for me #goodnight love u all sleep well appreciate the people in ur life x #also i mean two 20 year old couples lol i don't have eight flatmates

I find crochet easy to get into since youtube is full of slow and simple to follow tutorials to get you started. I know I'm biased but crochet is great hobby since it's so versatile and full of different applications imho! I def recommend it.

Here I shared some tips for beginners, if you decide to go with it! Good luck!

#If you want a frame of reference #I began crocheting last year around the end of december so it's almost been 12 months #And I began doing my own designs around... I think march?#So it's def not something hard to master tho imho it depends on your goal #Amigurumi is fairly easy and straightforward. All plushies come down to a couple of basic shapes #Clothing can be more challenging since it involves measurements but if you follow a pattern it's easy too

Accessibility takes too goddamn fucking long.

My brother was paralyzed in October 2023. We got him home from the hospital (in Texas, when we live in Iowa) in a clunky old hospital chair. He hated it. He was scared and angry and in pain and his life had just changed forever and he couldn’t do anything for himself in that wheelchair. His first goal (aside from learning how to transfer) was to get a wheelchair. My family was lucky enough to afford one so we thought it would be easy enough. Nope.

We couldn’t buy him a wheelchair. He needed a prescription. For a wheelchair. A doctor had to examine him and declare him in need of a wheelchair. It wasn’t good enough that he had scans and tests showing tumors cutting off his spinal cord. He needed his primary care doctor to examine him during a physical and write a prescription. He was making 2-4 transfers a day, tops. He had no energy to get to a doctor. Home health was in and out every day. He had no time to get to a doctor. He didn’t get a prescription for almost a month. Then it had to go through insurance.

We asked if we could skip insurance and just buy a wheelchair for him. Nope. They wouldn’t sell us one, not even at full sticker price. It needed to be approved by Medicare. We ordered a wheelchair, a nice one, a good shade of green, sporty, small. It would let him move around the house. He would be able to cook, to reach drawers and get stuff from the fridge and brush his teeth and put his contacts in at a sink. We were told it would take awhile, maybe two months. Silently we all hoped he would be around to see two more months.

He went on hospice care on a Saturday in March. On Monday, I was calling his friends to come see him before he died. I got a call on his phone. It was the wheelchair company. They were about to order his wheelchair, she said, but there was an issue with insurance— had he stopped being covered by Medicare? Well, yes. When he started hospice care, he got kicked off Medicare. The very nice woman I talked to told me to call her if he resumed Medicare coverage so she could order his wheelchair. He died less than 12 hours later.

We ordered that chair for him in early December. Medicare didn’t approve the order until March. He was dead before they got around to it. He wanted that fucking wheelchair so badly. The only reason he had any semblance of independence and any quality of life for the last five months of his life was because the wheelchair company lent him an old beater chair, a very used model of the chair he ordered. If I could go back and change one thing about his end-of-life, I would get him his dream wheelchair. He told me again and again he couldn’t wait to get it, so that he could feel like a person again. He made the best of what he had with that old beater chair, but it still makes me mad to this day. He was paralyzed. He needed a chair that afforded him dignity. We had the money for it. And yet, we were left waiting for five months, for a chair that wouldn’t even get ordered until the day he died.

#happiness diary #happiness diary: march 2024 #oooo birth by artms is really good #im happy tgey got an actual illustrator for the mv too cus i was unsure for a but #but saw the illustrator being credited so alls good #i love the vibe it feels horror in a different way from the other horror groups like dreamcatcher and purple kiss #its most similar to red velvet but even then its quite different #also haseul!!!!!!!#she sounds so good!! they all do but im biased towards haseul #i feel like the mix of deeper and more textured? from heejin amd jinsoul and the clearer higher voices of the others #really made everyone stand out #like choerry at the end kim lip at the start every haseul line heejin and jinsoul with their respective chorus lines #im really excited for the album now lile i was excited before but now im just vibrating from excitement #also loosemble are coming soon too #i just love loona theeyre the perfect group they literally dont have a song i dislike #i think dance on my own is my least favourite but like its still a great song and i gladly listen to and enjoy #and the post loona stuff has kept this up somehow #im really excited to see what yves is preparing cus shes the only one whos not released anything yet #dunno loona makes me happy all 12 of them are great #anyway enough rambling about loona #i dont feel good and am quite tired so gonna sleep night!#also didn't have internet yesterday which is why i didnt post but it was a chill day and i had sweet potato
