Why does W×S main story have to be the first and the last in the timeline?

sorry for the late response, i've had so many asks over the last few days that these ended up getting buried under about 30 others.

It's mentioned in the WxS main story that the failed debut play was on the first day of the school holidays. By process of elimination this is most likely summer break (the story is some time after the start of the school year, and before christmas). Their main story also only takes place over a very short period of time compared to most of the others.

Saki and Haruka both started regularly attending school at the same time. According to STEP by STEP!, the transfer windows to and from the credit course are the start and midway point of the school year. Haruka would've transferred at the start of the year, so that's when Saki transferred too. This is a retcon though since the actual main story seems to suggest that Haruka transferred partway through the year.

Haruka is stated to be 16 in the main story but that's just because all 1st years are 16 regardless of birthday due to the timeloop so I'm not taking it as an indicator of when the MMJ story is set

However if you want to count it and say that the MMJ story is after October 5th, it pushes the WxS story into the winter holidays.

Also in the WxS main story opening it's stated that Saki has just started school, placing WxS and L/n main stories at the same time (though as stated, WxS has the shorter story)

In Kohane's initial 1* story, she mentions to Minori that a new troupe has recently begun performing at PXL (they have performed multiple shows by this point). It is also mentioned that Minori has recently become friends with Haruka and that Kohane is meeting with someone from another school (presumably An). Kohane has not cut her hair by this point.

But also according to Toya's initial 3* story, BAD DOGS split up before Saki has gone to school, which means no L/n, no MMJ, and no WxS. Given the whole 'transfer at the start of the year' retcon, it also means that no one in VBS should be in high school lol

So if that's too complicated here's the order of main story events according to the main stories and initial card stories:

BAD DOGS splits up

Saki starts school, Haruka transfers course, Rui transfers school. L/n and MMJ main stories start.

Tsukasa attends his audition for PXL. WxS main story starts.

WxS goes on school break, performs a show, messes it up, etc etc story over.

No one else goes on break

Kohane meets An

thanks VBS writers. WxS has to finish before the formation of MMJ, L/n, and VBS, but also WxS (and by extension, L/n and MMJ) have to not even have their stories started when BAD DOGS splits up just before the end of the VBS story. so WxS is either the 3rd story to start and 1st to finish, or last story to start and finish. I didn't forget about N25 but they can do basically whatever they want bc they don't impact the other stories.

Explanation of the AU under the cut

All of the relationships are ambiguous, so you can apply your own connotation headcanons as you wish. There are strong mizuan, mizurui, and mizuena vibes lol

The explanation includes mild fic spoilers, but you can read it before the fic if you want and be fine. Although if you want to figure out the mystery while reading, then I recommend coming back to read the explanation after. The plot in the fic is very vague in the scenes I wrote, and I also don't really feel like writing any more, so you may need to come back to get the full picture afterwards

I know I said it's a kamikou au, and the fic itself technically is, but Mafuyu, Shizuku, and Emu are all kinda important to what little plot actually exists in the fic, but they really aren't mentioned by name except for Mafuyu at the very end (K also gets a name drop at one point). I left all of it kinda vague on purpose to emphasize the kamikou characters since it was based on a kamikou event to begin with.

The full story starts with the disappearance of an Aristocrat’s daughter (Mafuyu). This daughter had a fond friend within the aristocracy (Shizuku) who became seriously worried when she disappeared. Shizuku hired a high-class private investigator (Emu) to find her.

But Emu doesn’t work alone. There’s only so much she can do when there's so many people looking at her in high society. She can get away with more than the usual aristocrat, being the 4th youngest in her moderately prominent family, but she has 3 officers (WxS) running more of the dirty work out in public. Emu took the case of Mafuyu's disappearance seriously because she's also emotionally involved like Shizuku is.

WxS quickly realized Mafuyu covered a lot of her bases when she vanished. It was almost as if she never existed at all. It doesn't help that Mafuyu's parents don't want to talk with WxS despite trying to find their daughter. They're lower class, no-name, prying eyes who are sticking their noses in someone else's business where they don't belong.

Despite being backed by Emu, they needed to get access to a detective agency's credibility to go searching in more places for any clues as to where she could've gone all while without giving themselves away to mafuparents who grew to be strongly against WxS' involvement in their daughter's case.

They heard of R-A-D-W (White Rock Detective Agency), a "new" office trying to get its feet off the ground, and they saw an opening. They're posing as rookie detectives there while still investigating the missing daughter on the side and keeping it a secret from the agency owners (VBS).

It's important to me that you know Emu is WxS' sponsor while living on her family’s estate, and Kohane has a real job that pays for VBS's room and board (me, coping with not including them)

VBS... they're just trying to do their jobs man, they had no business getting wrapped up in this but oh well. "White Rock" is a direct translation of An's last name (Shiraishi, 白石). The White Rock Detective Agency or R-A-D-W (please notice how I stupidly rearranged the letters to make it close to rad weekend) is her family’s agency that fell off a few years ago after a tragic loss, but she is determined to restore the agency name to its former glory with a few other aspiring detectives--particularly two young gentlemen who have been helped by R-A-D-W in the past and are determined to repay that debt.

As you can probably guess, Mafuyu is being hidden by Niigo. More specifically, she's being sheltered by Kanade, while Ena makes their money with her art, and Mizuki steals back things Mafuyu used to own. In the months buliding up to her breaking point and running away from her abusive household, Mafuyu's mother took things from her that she deemed to be a distraction as punishment for not focusing on her studies and family affairs. The other 3 are enraged by what mafumom has done to her and will keep Mafuyu safe and hidden from her old life, no matter the cost.

This AU has been a great source of brainrot for me the past few months so if you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer 🥹

even just. like. Vocal wise. their voices go so so well together. Traffic jam is one of my favorite vbs covers. i love the akian rap in it. I love their dynamic . I don't really have. Its such a travesty that i have not written them yet but they are the dynamic i go batshit insane over. The Parallels. the. The Difference in. In how they mask. Their hearts. Their kindness. Its so similar. to eachother. mafuyus little "i havent seen you in a while... im glad" with her little smile. Mizuki saying that it'd just be the four of them at scramble fan festa so mafuyu wouldnt have to mask the entire time i fucking LOVE them

even like on a surface level theyre so freaking cute. girl whos like :D and guy whos like o_o (I love it when they transmasc mafuyu its wonderful) I just love them so terribly. I need them to hug i need them. to kiss eachother maybe.

In terms of what i wantfor them down the line... i'd love to see a sort of thing after ena5 maybe where. Mizukis not been to school in a WHILE and has a lot of stuff to catch up on so mafuyu sits with her and helps her. and mizukis like. kind of low energy but mafuyu doenst question it, just lets her sit there, just helps her with the equations a bit. mafuyu chan. I feel like ... i feel like a lot of Nene's attitude. toward everyone near the beginning of the wxs story. And toward herself really. It's just a big. Culmination of self hatred. She hates herself because she can't even talk to anyone without shaking, can't go on stage, lets people down... and she's bitter toward Rui because she hated that she couldn't do anything about their relationship. Letting people down.

i wanna draw attention to the way she talks about him near the beginning vs after her talk with tsukasa:

Do you see the difference? "he just has to try it out. people avoid him. heres the things hes done" vs "he gets absorbed in his work, and he's alone but i dont think he wants that". One is pointed, the other is sympathetic.

DO I THINK NENE HATES RUI. NO. But that's the thing with her. Her self hatred. she projects it onto others. Like in smile of a dreamer when she snapped at Tsukasa. And rui knows this behavior because he's immediately like "oh you must be worried about emu". because she didnt know what to do.

But then they grow together, and nenes attitude toward herself becomes kinder, and gradually her problems can be shared with them and it all just. becomes better. They Grow. And that's what i love about them. Rui "i've never seen nene shine like that before" kamishiro. Nene "i like your shows" kusanagi. I just i love them so much.

Ruinene i also consume both platonically and romantically but with like. a veer toward romantic. the way i write them is like if theyre dating but i rarely ever establish that fact (like i'll never have them outright say it) unless i'm writing with Explicit Polysho. I jjust. I love them so bad. I write the most for them i. draw the most for them. I love them.

in terms of what i want for future events WELL NENE5 IS LITERALLY RIIIIGHT AROUND THE CORNER and i i OUGH i do want rui to give a little help to her. i want rui to be there for her again. maybe a bit more forward this time because nene might go "oh i should handle this by mself" when shes in need ofhelp. Sorry taking so long to answer this! It’s just- I didn’t expect an actual ask about this! (And also to like. Collect my thoughts since I have so much to say about Project Sekai)

Okay. Where to start?! I guess we can start what’s Project Sekai is and then later talking about the plot! :Dc

Let’s go!!! Project Sekai Lore 101! Or like. My attempt to explain it! •v•;

What is Project Sekai?

Well, it’s a mobile rhythm game where you tap/slide/flick on the notes to the beat of the song! However it’s also technically a sort of visual novel game too!

The gameplay revolves around the rhythm game, but the story is very much a visual novel! And you generally unlock the story through getting points via playing the rhythm game portion of Project Sekai (for the main story and during the event stories when live).

Oh. And it’s technically a Gacha game too, where ya pull cards of the characters (the art usually relates to the story/have a general theme for each set).

Of course, I could explain more about the general gameplay, but that’s not what this post is gonna be about, so let’s move on!!! >v<

What’s the Story of Project Sekai?

Okay, before I even talk about the story, I would need to give you some context on a bit of the world building within Project Sekai! Soooo…

Project Sekai Lore/World! (Or like as best I can explain anyway lol)

There is this plane called “In Between Worlds” which is essentially sort of like empty space where the OG Vocaloids resides (Miku, Kaito, Luka, Mekio, Rin, and Len). This place is where SEKAIs can form.

What are SEKAIs? Well they are essentially little tiny world that’s form!

Within those SEKAIs, there are essentially alter versions of Vocaliods depending on the group of people’s views on the Vocaloids, but mostly based on who themselves wanna be like (e.g. WxS Kaito being a good older brother role model, something Tsukasa strives to be) or based on people the group knows (e.g. VBS Meiko being based on An’s views of Nagi Kotaki, her aunt).

How does do these SEKAI form? Well they form when a group of people have a similar feeling/ambition/dream that they all wanna achieve!

However! There’s been cases where a Whole SEKAI are formed due to only one person’s intense feelings! But those are extremely rare since only a person’s feelings/emotions can create a Fragment SEKAI, if their feelings are strong enough at that moment. However unlike a fully developed SEKAI, a Fragment Sekai are pretty fragile and doesn’t last that long. While a complete SEKAI can last forever in theory iirc. :oc

But yeah! SEKAI are essentially mini worlds that are based on a group of people common feelings where the group can come in anytime they want via their phone/devices! The group usually first enters in via clicking on a mystery song that popped up within their playlist called “Untitled”. And Bada-Bing! Bada-Boom! They get to meet that world’s version of Hatsune Miku, and get a free therapist! XD

Of Course, this isn’t a well known thing in the general public, so the groups generally keeps the knowledge about their SEKAIs hush-hush. Which makes sense since like… how the hell would ya explain this to someone without them looking at ya strange? XD

What’s the Story of Project Sekai? (For Reals this time lol)

So, from what ya can gather from the worldbuilding/lore. Ya can probably guess that the general plot and goal of the story is for the Vocaloids to help guide the main casts towards their goals, and have them understand and express their feelings freely. Since once the group comes to an understanding of each other feelings, the Untiled song will then changed into an actual song that expresses the groups’ feelings!

So! Let’s dive into the Main Story within Project Sekai!

There are a total of 5 groups that we focus on! Each group contains 4 members! So that’s a total of 20 main characters! @v@

The Groups being…

Leo/need! (the typical band)

MORE MORE Jump! (the idol group)

Vivid BAD SQUAD (the street music group)

Wonderlands x Showtime (the theater/troupe group)

Nightcord at 25:00 (the online music video group)

And of course, the members within these groups has names~

L/N: Ichika Hoshino (vocalist/main guitarist), Saki Tenma (pianist), Honami Mochizuki (drummer), Shiho Hinomori (bass guitarist).

All of them were also childhood friends before they slowly drifted apart during Middle School due to Saki getting really sick due to her chronic illness, Shiho distancing herself from the group due to increased rumors about her, and Honami grew distant due to being ostracized for being too much of a people pleaser and thus people called her two faced. Ichika was the only one who didn’t know what happened, thus blamed herself for the rift. (Don’t worry, they get together of course ;3c)

Their goal is to become a professional and legit band~

MMJ: Minori Hanasato (the newcomer but with extreme hope and determination), Hakura Kiritani (retired idol before joining due to guilt of failing to look after a member within her old group), Airi Momoi (also left the industry before joining due to the industry never seeing her as a real idol thus letting her always play the role as a fool), Shizuku Hinomori (was still an idol during the main story before quitting her old group to joins MMJ)

Their goal is to bring hope and inspiration to their fans and to overcome the struggles within the idol industry~

VBS: Kohane Azusawa (a shy newcomer but with immense talent in singing), An Shiraishi (her whole life is street music and is considered a prodigy due to her being the daughter of a well known musician within the setting), Akito Shinonome (got into street music when he’s in middle school, sort of the underdog within the setting), Toya Aoyagi (the son of a really strict and famous classical musician, he met Akito while running away after getting sick of being focused to practice constantly and thus got introduced to street music)

Their goal is to surpass this super famous street music Event called RAD WEEKEND, that the RADer (the group that contains An’s dad, Ken Shiraishi, Taiga Kotaki, and Nagi Kotaki) and other well known street music groups did a few years ago that deeply inspired An and Akito~

WxS: Tsukasa Tenma (Actor who wants to be a star but originally forgot why at first until he remembers it was so Saki, her younger sister, would smile and be happy), Emu Otori (the daughter of the popular theme park, Phoenix Wonderland, she also strives to put a genuine smile on people’s faces to make them happy), Nene Kusanagi (the singer who love musical and always dreams of doing one to bring joy, but she has stage fright that she struggles to overcome at first), Rui Kamishiro (the director who loves to build extraordinary gadgets and equipments to make the show out of this world to bring excitement and joy for those who would watch)

Their goal is to save the old stage play within Phoenix Wonderland and to bring smiles and joy to everyone~

N25: Kanade Yoisaki (Composer who’s determined to constantly make music to save people after she felt immense guilt when her father, who’s also a music composer, fell into a coma due to stress), Mafuyu Asahina (the lyrics writer and vocal mixer who originally contacted Kanade after one of her songs made her feel something, thus make music to try and see if she can still feel since she can’t due to her intense depression for constantly wearing the “perfect daughter” mask), Ena Shinonome (the artist who’s strive to be a pro artist out of spite after her own father, who’s a famous artist, told her that she doesn’t have the talent to be one and shouldn’t try and be one, but she struggles with getting validation for her art which is the only thing she has), Mizuki Akiyama (the editor/animator who cares deeply for the group and even considered them all their friends, but they are scared to tell any of them about their secret due to fear of being ostracized due to them being outcasted in school)

Their goal? Well, technically is to keep making music to save people, but in actuality it’s mostly them actually improving their mental health and help them with their issues/problems lol~

And the Main Story is all about the formation of all of these groups! With the expectation being N25, since they were already a group in the beginning of the main story, but their story is about maintaining the group after Mafuyu disappeared mysteriously for days.

However, that isn’t where the story ends! Oh noooo! Far from it! Within the game there are these Event Stories that continues the story of all the group after the Main Story!

These Event stories usually focused on one particular character at a time, but overall expands and continues the story/arc of all the characters! :3c

Thus there’s a lottttt of story content within Project Sekai! In fact, not even I have read all of them yet! @v@;

But from what I read, I’m really really loving it! Like! Sure the pacing be a slow burn, but the moments that the story be building up to is sooooo worth it!!! And like all the characters be having depth~

Oh! Also alsooo!

What I really love about the story is that the some of the characters have relationships/friendships outside of their unit group! Like An and Haruka were middle school friends who like to have contest in random things on who’s the best, and that knew each other since elementary school! Another example would be how Mizuki and Rui were also middle school friends that bonded over being both outcast.

There’s also siblings within the main cast with different dynamics! Like the Hinomori’s (Shizuku and Shiho), the Shinonome’s (Ena and Akito), and the Tenma’s (Tsukasa and Saki)!

And like the characters later get introduced and meet other characters later on in the stories! Like how Shizuku and Airi meets Mizuki for the first time through Ena (Ena and Airi are friends since middle school), and how An and Shiho became friends after bonding over their love and passion for music and how they value their friends/group so much!

Conclusion

Basically… Project Sekai is my current hyperfixations and I’m loving it! *w*

Of course I would still need to read all of the story since I’m no where nearrrr caught up! @v@;

Color Pallete pls just make up ur minds are you gonna write tsukasa as a silly little goofy man for the funnies who shouldn’t be taken that seriously bcs most of his weird interactions are meant as a joke or as a kid who's loneliness and concern forced him to grow faster and dedicate his life for his family instead of himself and a pretty evident mafuyu parallel because you CANNOT HAVE BOTH

I get that some people don’t like tsukasa angst and feel like it’s just people wanting to see something that’s not there or that it’s just exaggerating but like, you guys. C’mon. All of WxS have pretty sad stuff going on and are not only connected bcs of smiles, but also loneliness.

AND. LIKE. How am I supposed to take him seriously when they literally treat him like a joke?? WxS interactions w him are mostly pretty obviously meant to be humorous, with emu ignoring all he says, nene making fun of him, and rui being rui. Toya’s adoration is also portrayed as a joke a lot of times, and generally kasa is portrayed as a joke; a loud, obnoxious, arrogant kid who does silly poses and embarrasses himself on public and writes silly plays like Romeo battle royale. And it just annoys me cuz we know a lot about him and he’s so much more and yet nothing really changes. And I guess nothing *can* change bcs those are his character traits and like the core of the character. And his sekai. But it also sucks and feels kind of unfair to me that he’s not really allowed to be taken seriously even after all his events.

He’s literally mafuyu’s parallel. Mafuyu was an unwilling marionette of his mother, molding herself and her life around her, even though she convinced herself that she didn’t care about that, about anything, while Kasa almost wanted to be be one, and molded his identity based on what he thought would make others happy (his family, after what he saw on that show), even though in his main story he seemed to have convinced himself that he was doing it for himself. (And eventually remembered that it was for others)

This whole post makes absolutely no sense probably cuz I haven’t rlly organized my thoughts I’m just rambling and so I’m not gonna tag it but. Idk there’s something about how kasa is portrayed that irks me???? And it just doesn’t feel right

mafuyu: my favorite in the whole game. its odd considering that i used to absolutely hate her. i hated her for the same reason that most ppl hate her. i thought that everyone was overreacting to her problems but then i realized i was projecting my own insecurities onto that so i started to love her. ill pull her mothers hair out in clumps

This is just a very long and unimportant rant about Project SEKAI limited Gachas on here real quick, because I'd like to let off some steam (and see if other pjsk gacha/card addicts see this and understand the struggle, lol). Rant under the cut, feel free to scroll if you aren't interested, but...

TLDR; there are so many limited cards I wanna pull for and not enough time to save for them all, and I am in dire need of a miracle from Hatsune Miku herself.

Okay, so I've recently decided I'm going to give up impulse pulling on my main/EN account completely (I'm still pulling on JP, since I don't care as much about that account), so I can save up for the limited event cards that I really, really want to actually get when they come out.

And checking how much time we have between now and when they come to EN... I am so royally fucked.

To start, some time in November, we're supposed to have the first rerun of the Spooky Forest Gacha. I have been wanting to pull on that one for a while now, because the cards are lovely, and I really really want Little Lamb Minori especially.

However, I'll likely end up skipping that one, especially since this is gonna running either before, during, or after the Nightcord at 25 World Link, and I really want the cards for this event sooner rather than later. A; because they're beautiful and B; N25 are my second favorite unit.

Directly after that is Tsukasa4, which I'm not pulling for even though it has my favorite Tsukasa card in the whole game, because directly after that is The Best Picture Wrap, which is another event I really want the full set from, and I will never be able to pull for both.

(And I want to try and save enough crystals to spark, so I can guarantee at least one of the cards, but if I don't get any of the cards from my pulls, I'll have to pick between sparking for Nene (which I have no 4*stars for) or for Len (who doesn't have any 50% event bonus options and is better gameplay wise), which is a decision I Do Not want to have to make.)

Then, only two events after that is Next to the Unchanging Warmth, which is a colorfes (so 2x chance for 4*stars + chance to get colorfes cards) and a Mizuki focus mixed event (I love Mizuki so much, and this is definitely one of my favorite Mizuki cards in the game), so this is another event I really really want to pull from.

THEN I have to skip the VBS World Link (which I'm not too sad about) and Blacklight Lens Flare (which I am quite sad about), because during the next four to five event periods after them there are EIGHT FUCKING LIMITED GACHAS RERUNNING I WANT TO PULL FOR. EIGHT.

These limited Gachas include:

- Photogenic Valentine

- Sweet, Cute Valentine

- What Awaits at the End of War

- Imperial Soldiers

- Wanderer's Journey

- Secret Teatime

(In vaguely that order, I think)

The fucking cherry on top of this crystal sapping sundae??? The fucking Wonderlands x Showtime World link starts four fucking events after Blacklight Lens Flare. WxS is my favorite unit, followed closely by N25, and I love the WL cards for both these units.

(I first downloaded the JP server so that I could play Blacklight Lens Flare, and every time another rerun of a limited Gacha I really wanted the cards from popped up, followed by WxS WL, I felt my hopes and dreams slowly die. At this point, they are nothing but cremated ashes.)

After the WxS WL, Toya4 comes out and is immediately followed by Rise As One, aka 3.5 anniversary, which means the colorfes typical 2x drop rate for 4*stars + the colorfes cards for Saki, Tsukasa and Emu, which I also really want and will definitely not be able to pull for while also pulling for the world link.

Thankfully, if I decide not to pull for literally anything before it (including the first ever bloomfes, the MMJ and Leo/need WL's, and others), I have 13 events to save up for the Virtual Singer/Vocaloid World Link. It's not all great, seeing as I want to get all six cards during the event since I likely won't have many more chances to get my hands on them, but it's better than everything, I suppose.

If I do manage to get them all in minimal pulls, I might even be able/willing to spare a few for the second Spooky Forest rerun, and The Divine Beasts' New Years Gacha (another one I really want all the cards from), but that's very unlikely, especially considering the Project SEKAI drop rates and how amazing their recent cards have been looking.

If you've read all the way through this, thank you for listening to me complaining about the consequences (being able to get all the cards I really want) of my own actions (impulse pulling/not saving my crystals).

Depending on how many crystals I can get in between now and pandemonium I think I have a decent shot of getting the rui and Tsukasa cards because surely I won’t need to save enough to spark for nene for the emu focus event in ~august. Surely nene kusanagi would not be so cruel as to make me spark for her a second time. Surely I will be allowed to save for the cyberpunk dead boy rui card and the wxs world link cards (<- top ten things said before needing to spark for a card)

Well just based on the news I think the February lim slot has to be a unit event unless they don't care about finishing the rotation before 3.5. January lim could go either way, but because of WxS World Link, that only leaves January lim, February slots 1 and 2, February lim, and March slot 2

Haruka is guaranteed to be one of the perm February slots. Honami could either be January lim or February 1. I think Ena is more likely to be the February lim than Toya is, especially given how the MV types line up. I mean they could do three 3DMV unit events in a row (with a mixed event in there somewhere) since the last 3DMV would end up in March if they do that, but it feels a little more likely they'd do the double 3DMV events and then the next 2DMV. Ena also hasn't had a lim banner with her as the focus (all of her unit events and both of her mixed events have been perms)

I don't know. WxS World Link kinda messes everything up, and the lim schedule is a mess

okay so first off after the stream it occurred to me that i did a big stupid and Honami 4 cannot be the lim banner this month. Lol. Because that would've required them to announce 3 event songs this wandasho channel.

So Toya4 is Toya/Kohane/An lims end of february. Calling it now. Ena I have my doubts about because you could do Ena/Mafuyu/Kaito because both girls are desperate for lims and n25 kaito will be the next vsinger lim, but considering Mizuki has never been rateup on an Ena unit event and also has the most lims in the game right now, I think a Ena/Mizuki rateup for ena4 is most likely.

I will admit I'm still very stuck on things. At the very least it's pretty much confirmed that Hona4 is slot 1 and Haruka4 is slot 2 for february.

Given Emu skipping the rateup she should've had on the current event i'd say she's most likely to be the lim event (plus i think it's too close to akito's last lim when lots of characters have gone nearly a year w/o, and kanade is capped on 4* cards rn). If we look at the characters who need a lim within the next 4 lim events, we have Toya, An, Ena, Mafuyu, Honami, and Emu. Emu already has been featured on mixed events with Ena, Honami and Toya, and we can rule out An based on the likeliness of Toya4 being lim. Emu/Mafuyu works, since they have an established connection, and n25 kaito should be the next vsinger lim and he works with mafuyu.

Also I've seen multiple JP specs that Akito will be the 3.5 event, which makes a lot of sense now that i think about it. it's either kanade, emu, or akito, and miku usually has a 4* on the .5 events. out of those characters, two of them already have a lim miku for their unit. so you could do something like, akito/miku and then maybe ena? i know she was lim on last year's .5 event but there's that 12 month limit thing that's been pretty consistent. plus, pre-established connection. honestly you could probably put Honami on there too because she has a connection to Ena.

then kanade perm mixed after 3.5 god knows who the cards would be on that.

it's patchy, but here's a visual demo of what i'm thinking rn. with this i'm also assuming Ichika/Saki 3.5 fes and Tsukasa/Emu summer fes. mainly based on the fact the WL gacha will end only 8 days before 3.5 (minori and shiho could get away with it because they at least had two weeks between cards). also saki will need a lim more than emu by that point under the assumption that next event is emu.

disclaimer i havent read ALL of the stories yet (i’ve read the main ones but not all the side stories n events and stuff) so if some of this is already confirmed or not idk 

- I like to think tsukasa plays w the kids after the shows.... since he’s usually the main prince character, i’m sure all the kids love him, so i like to think after the show ends he comes out to the front to play w the kids, and im sure they would love him. and the way he took care of saki’s bunny plushie in the sekai oughgh he’s so good at just cheering people up ,, like he probably comes across a fair amount of children just having a bad day in the park and he’s able to make them feel better and enjoy their time at phoenix wonderland

- semi related to the last point, and probably goes without saying, but i feel like tsukasa’s REALLY good at improv. i know he kinda got caught really off guard in the main storyline show, but like we see with the bunny plushie from the sekai, he’s good at coming up with things on the fly. since it seems like prince pegasus is his default character that he goes to, he probably knows it pretty well so it’s easy for him to assume that role and just start acting 

- i feel like as wxs becomes a more popular group in phoenix wonderland, they become more well known throughout the park. so like, yknow when you’re at disney or something and the kids see a character walking around and get excited? i feel like its kind of like that, the kids would see one of the members of the troupe and get excited and want to talk to them. especially after their show went viral (after the most recent event) i’m sure they’d be recognized around town too

- this is semi canon cause we’ve seen it in a lot of stories but . tsukasa talks to himself so much sdflksj but i feel like its to the point where he like narrates his day in his head

- ive only seen a little bit of emu with her family (from the event) but i feel like she’s much more quiet and less active around them. not cause she can’t be silly around them or something, like she’s still kinda silly around her brothers, but yknow how you act different around your friends than your parents? like even if you’re close with your family, you still behave a little better and make different jokes than you would with your friends? i think she does that it’s just a lot more drastic than most people cause her default with her friends is like being very loud and bouncing off the walls lol she’s still active and high energy with her family, but just to a more controlled, more tame degree. i think she’s decently close with her family tho. not as close as like, tsukasa and saki, i don’t think they’re like best friends but she’s got a good relationship with all of them

- i think rui and nene still hang out the most one on one rather than with the entire group. like i feel like the wxs troupe doesn’t have a Lot of time to hang out outside of shows, like they all seem kinda busy? they rehearse together regularly tho so they Do hang out together like All the time, but i mean like non-show related, just hanging out together as friends. i feel like they’re mostly just too busy to get the whole group together on non-rehearsal days most of the time. but rui and nene, being neighbors and childhood friends, probably hang out a lot on their own

Comparing each groups vocals with each other is a bit difficult, but i ultimately stand by the fact that wandasho is probably canonically the best performance group there is. Regarding their choreography, execution, synchronization and formations, i really dont think any group can compare. Really, wxs is heavily emphasized as the sole performance-based unit of proseka.

Wandasho canonically performs plays and musicals that involves choreography, blockings and a lot of physicality in it. In the Fan Festa event, Wandasho was the group that was ‘in charge’ of helping with choreography, and there are big implications that all if not most members of wxs participate in choreographed performances. While in the story, Touya and Akito, and all of MMJ are characters who also perform choreos, i still have reason to believe that wxs as a group are still able to out-perform others.

In terms of each member, what is the best about wxs, when watching their performances (3dmv or the first proseka live concert), it is apparent that they are all uniform in their dance and have about equal capabilities as individuals in comparison to each other regarding dancing, that is to say, they perform with a singular style and their skills are on par with each other. This is even the most impressive since more stationary performers like Nene and Rui are able to keep up with more energetic performers like Tsukasa and Emu. In comparison to vbs (the only other mixed-unit group), theres a distinction between the way An and Kohane dances compared to Akito and Touya’s, given that their movements aren’t as hard-hitting as the latter (see: Colorful Live 1st Link Cinema stage). You can see that while they perform the same choreography, they execute it in two different ways. A uniformity, however, can be seen in wxs wherein there is no distinction between more “feminine” or “masculine” movements. They are able to match each other’s level to present a stage where they are all equals, and performing as one.

Individually, its apparent that, just like every other unit, the character’s personality reflects in the way they dance. Tsukasa has the best body control (see: Buriki no Dance), Rui moves with the most sway and flourish (see: Miracle Paint), Nene has more reserved but precise movements (see: Chururira Chururira Daddadda), and Emu performs with the most energy (see: Dance Robot Dance). Despite all of these differences, wandasho is still able to make their performance uniform. You will watch their stage as a whole and not see anyone stick out, or not move as wide or as little as the next person. They are able to heavily coordinate with each other and synchronize even difficult choreographies (see: Becoming Potatoes)

The initial subunit performances, Buriki no Dance for ruikasa and Dance Robot Dance for emunene, there is already a big emphasis on dancing. This is seen even simply with the title, of course. Even their unit performance as four members without any other vocaloid (which i think is a first for any group, correct me if im mistaken), Chururira Chururira Daddadda is already a high level performance with difficult choreography and coordination. From the high coordination and body controls in Buriki no Dance, to the synchronization and energy of Dance Robot Dance, wxs cements their title as the performance unit of proseka.

...you could have toya as the 3* on the anniversary banner and then do vbs lims. throw kohane or akito on there too even though they only recently got lims.

but then again it's probably too close to the vsinger lims and minori is desperate for a lim as well...

idk maybe they'll just do unit reps for anniversary again like none of them are at the max atm

or you could do vbs lims as the november lim event. means they land the xmas slot again but. fine. throw a L/n after or something so a different unit can get the christmas banner

maybe they'll do christmas lims this year they finally did halloween last year. it's possible i guess but it would clash with new year banner unless they made it the november lim event.

also i'm guessing there will be another culture festival event at around the correct real-life time (novemberish). probably one of the new classes. could be a permanent mixed event and then vbs unit lims before? that kinda works.

obviously as well since a lot of characters are starting to hit 5 lims and every MC has their 4th now we'll be moving into 6th lim territory, with Shiho and An likely first out the gate because of how long ago they got their 5ths.

no fucking clue who could be NY event but if we're still doing vday and white day i could probably work those out. easier to start with white day. there's only 4 boys so if we continue on that route it'll be an akito or rui banner. probably Akito unless he lands one before then. also i'm assuming they'll want to avoid pairing up the boys from the same unit so that gets you akito/rui banner or tenma brothers banner. obviously if akito gets a lim banner before then you can scrap this because as a rough estimate since there's 8 characters left and i don't think all of them will have gotten a banner by february in order for akito or rui to get their 3rd. it took 22 months for the first rotation so as a guess based on that second rotation will last until next may. so anyway if akito gets an event before white day then you can gender flip it. maybe go with An because she gives me the most ikemen sort of vibe ig. anharu ikemen white day event i'm still manifesting you.

if you did that it would be interesting to gender flip valentine's but it really depends on how brave the devs want to be i remember the dress design competition ended up. if not then just throw Minori on it I guess? pretty much everyone who's left has been on vday except mizuki, minori, akito and an, and two of them have white day cards (but saki did get both actually so it can work).

anyway i'm thinking maybe something like this?

vocaloid units are random guesses and the blank spots for the september mixed events are for vocaloid cards that i couldn't be bothered to predict. i put minori on the miya banner because i figured it could be like a graduation-sorta thing. however based on the timing of the thanksgiving fes and the wandasho channel that will presumably be held during that, you might be able to scrap the separate miyajou and kamikou banners and mash them into one. have some generic mixed event directly after the vsinger event.

if they do end up doing miyajou kamikou banners separately (ignoring the fact i pulled this out my ass and it might not happen at all) then you can probably swap around the lineup for kamikou. mizuki has a lot of cards rn so maybe you could drop them to a reward card. i think tsukasa is likely since he just got a 2*. same with an since she just got a 3*. but then again they've already been a lineup on new years. you could throw akito on but he just got a 4* and was also on new years. he does need a stamp quite desperately though... oddball 1-2 on the lineup makes sense to me like they'll probably get chucked in the same class and it brings a balance with the 2nd and 3rd years on the banner. eh i guess mizuki and an works since nene is probably anniversary so i ruled her out.

i picked leo/need for first event back because... i dunno. they started the first one? idk i felt like it. rui banner because obligatory rui october slot 2.

So a 'lil while back I read the event stories for VBS in the EN server and finally stumbled upon VBS Kaito and omg...he's like the complete opposite of WxS Kaito. He's so...childish, that's like the only word I can think to describe him with. Anyways, he seems to get into trouble...a lot...and I can imagine his punishment would be tickles 'cause why noooot~?

It was a peaceful day over at the street sekai. It was currently empty with just Meiko in the café, Miku and the twins were probably causing chaos somewhere else...but that wasn't her problem. She decided to take advantage of the peacefulness and try to make some new recipes for her menu. She went to the back to gather up whatever things she needed, leaving the café unnatended.

During so, a certain blue individual arrived at the café. "Hey Meiko-! Oh...she's not here" Kaito quickly glanced around and noticed that he was the only one there at the moment. "Guess I'll wait for her to come back". He took a seat by the counter and out of boredom started fidgeting with a nearby cup he found. It wasn't too long until the cup fell out of his hands and...

CRASH!

Anyone would've easily noticed the way Kaito's face changed color as the cup crashed into the floor. He quickly went to pick it up and was mortified when he discovered a big crack at the bottom of the cup.

"What was that noise?".

Oh crap! She's coming. Kaito quickly hid the cup behind him as Meiko made her way out.

"Oh Kaito you're here. I thought I heard something fall, have you seen anything?".

Kaito quickly shook his head, but knowing him well Meiko wasn't convinced.

"Is that so...what's that behind your back?".

"What's what?" Kaito smiled nervously at her. She rolled her eyes fondly at him and yanked the cup from his hands. Before she could even say anything, Kaito was already on his hands and knees apologizing profusely.

"It was an accident, I swear! I didn't mean to break it! I'm sorry!".

Meiko could only chuckle at her boyfriend's sillyness. Feeling a bit mischevious, Meiko decided to have some fun messing with her clueless partner.

"I'm sorry Kaito, but I still have to condone your punishment" she said as a teasy smirk made it's way onto her lips, wiggling her fingers at her partner. Kaito's face instantly turned pink as he tried to scatter out of there, but Meiko easily pinned him down on the floor, taking a seat on his waist to keep him pinned.

"W-wahait! We can tahalk about this!" silly Kaito couldn't help the nervous giggles that bubbled out of him. He was too ticklish for his own good, and Meiko knew exactly how to exploit that weakness.

"I've already made up my mind. Now...laugh for me~" she said as she started gently squeezing at his hips.

"GAH-! Ahahahahaha! M-Meiko plehehease!" he held onto her wrists gently but didn't do much to stop her. She was well aware of his liking of tickling, so why not use that against him?

"Please what? Please tickle you more~?" she teased as he skittered her nails across his tummy, eliciting a squeal from the ticklish male.

"EEP! Thahat's nahat what I meheheant!" Kaito squirmed around with what little mobility he had, her nails were always killer for him.

"No? Well I don't hear you complaining either way~" Meiko teased as she softly dug her nails into his ribs.

"Shuhut uHUHUp! AHAHAHAHA!" poor Kaito threw his head back in laughter, while attempting to cover his red face behind his hands. Meiko chuckled in endearment and halted her fingers for a moment. Kaito took the opportunity to catch his breath. He wondered why she had stopped and peaked an eye from behind his hands, only to be met with wiggly nails under his arms.

"GYAH! MEIKO NOHOHO! HAHAHAHAHA!" he squealed and cackled as Meiko tormented his worst spot. All while his arms came crashing down in an instant, revealing all the flustered glory that was his bashful face. Meiko loved seeing him like this. His face was fully flushed from his ears all the way down his neck, his eyes looked a bit watery, and his smile was so big and his laughter was so fun and bubbly. She had to admit, tickling her boyfriend was very fun, and he liked it as well so it was a win win situation!

"What's wrong? Can't handle the kitchy kitchy coos~? she teased as Kaito squealed once more, getting lost in his boisterous laughter.

"DOHOHON'T SAY THAHAHAT!".

"Don't say what? Kitchy kitchy coo? Does it fluster you when I say that~?".

"OH MY GOHOHOD SHUT UHUHUP!" he screamed in laughter at all the teasing and tickling, even his tummy was starting to feel a bit sore from all the laughing. And as flustered as he felt, he had to admit, it was a lot of fun!

Meiko chuckled at his outburst and decided to cut him some slack. She slipped her hands out from under his arms but remained comfortably seated on his hips. "You doing okay down there?".

"Y-yeheheah...!" he giggled out as he caught his breath, slumpimg down deeper into the floor.

"Good!" she playfully patted his tummy, which caused him to giggle more. "My my you're just so ticklish~" she teased as she playfully stroked her nail around his navel, which became exposed with all his squirming.

"EEK! D-DOHON'T REMIND MEHEHE!" he squeaked and gently batted at her hand. She chuckled and stopped with the teasing.

Kaito took some deep breaths before speaking up again. "I-Ihi'm really sohohorry about the cuhup!" he tried his best to apologize through his residual giggles.

"Oh that? Yeah...that cup was already broken. I mainly just use it as a planter now".

"W-WHAT?! Then why did you put me through all that?!".

"Because it's fun! Plus, it's not like you hate it or anything~" Meiko teased as she gave his navel a quick poke, causing him to squeak. He blushed and huffed at her statement, sure she wasn't wrong, but she didn't have to be so straightforward about it!

"So...wanna go for round two~? The others won't be back for a while longer".

Kaito sighed and gave in to his girlfriend's playfulness. He slowly put his arms above his head 'cause let's be real, he was looking forward to it. "F-fihine just be cahaHAREFUL! AHAHAHAHAHA!".

Kaito got lost once again in his uncontrollable laughter as Meiko gently scratched away at his armpits. Looks like this was gonna be a long day for him.
