hello tumblr! i saw all these blogs doing various fandom polls (specifically inspired by those doing dc comics polls) and decided i was gonna make a blog for x-comics polls! my first poll is gonna be a basic fan favorite x-character and then i’ll open it up for other ideas!

SO the rules:

1) I will be adding every character I can as is, but if you have a niche fave you desperately want to see in this poll send me an ask with their name, an image of them, and any propaganda

2) A character qualifies for this poll if they played a major and ongoing roles in an x-comic or if they are a mutant. So characters like Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, who are no longer canonically mutants, but have been heavily relevant to wider x-men comics are absolutely allowed, as are characters like Captain Britain or Moira Mactaggert.

3) Propaganda welcome! If you reblog a poll with propaganda I’ll reblog it onto the blog unless you say otherwise in the post/tags

4) This is about the comics characters, not movies, cartoons, or games.

Name The Story!!

The story is about these three autistics: (you don't have to read the character sheets for the question)

Zack, Kioni, and Rainbow Baby being autistic about the queer community, info dumping and existing as themselves, thus educating the viewer on different aspects of the LGBTQ+. It's primarily A Slice of Life, but it's also meant to be informative. It talks primarily about queerness but Zack's special interest is identity, so they'll be info dumping about other communities as well, just less often.

Any suggestions will be put up against the winner of this one. Because I'm a pansexual that can't decide anything on my own lol

Ok so my pull list is getting a bit too large already so I’ll let tumblr settle this:

If it helps I’m looking for a fresh take that still holds true to everything I love about the X-Men. I also usually prefer x-books that focus on the younger mutants and seeing them learn and grow which both books seem to be doing (eventually). Gail Simone has written some of my favourite comics of all time but Emma Frost is one of my favourite characters so I’m completely torn.

Feel free to add propaganda for your x book of choice in the notes 🫶

For context, I've been mostly reading Batman and Batman-related comics (including for the Batfam at large and their related teams such as Titans, Outsiders, Birds of Prey), Superman, and Justice League stuff. Also some Authority stuff. But I'm taking a trip to the library soon and I thought maybe it was time to explore a little more
