"Where have you been?" - January 2025
The epitome of sweetness. As soon as I watched this scene, I knew I had to draw them. I took a picture of my screen, I traced the outlines on paper and I went from there. I struggled with colours because of this: the reference photo was too bright and low quality, so I had to darken/intensify the shadows a couple of times before I was satisfied.

As a lifetime period drama lover, of course I watched Bridgerton and fell in love with this couple... and I'm glad season 3 gave us a few scenes of them being blissful and in love. I intentionally waited until now because I knew they'd give me good material to draw! I'm not great at drawing fabrics, I invented most of the floral decorations because the details were too small, but I somehow think my version of Kate's nightgown looks better than the actual one!
