Even though this portrait smeared black pencil soot all over my desk, I wish I'd made it even bigger so I could hang it above my mantlepiece (which I don't have) and stare at it every night. I enjoyed using cold tones for once, teal and purple for the shadows and at least three different kinds of black fabric!

A redone version of the first drawing plus the new ascended/gods drawing! And I'm really happy with how they compliment each other ^^ The new god designs are really cool, so I've been wanting to draw them for a while

Casablanca 2942

A hand-drawn Futurama parody of the movie poster for the classic film Casablanca. The picture shows Leela as Ingrid Bergman's Ilsa, and Fry as Humphrey Bogart's Rick. I did this over twenty years ago.

Haven't shared it here in a while but the pencil graveyard jar is still the most oddly satisfying thing I own. I love the plinky sounds when you drop pencil nubs in, it's like some kinda ASMR thing. I use pencil extenders to use up as much of each pencil as possible.

Raven and Golden, August 2024

Faramir and Eowyn found each other while waiting for the great battle, worried, unable to fight because they had already been hurt by the great evil. They helped each other heal, both physically and emotionally. We don't know enough about their cinematic versions, as we barely get to know them in the book, but it's enough to love them unconditionally. It took me a long time to find a good reference pic (even this one might be a montage of different stills?) but then, the colouring came easily and beautifully.

Kira and Odo!! Oh I love them so much!!

I did a little redesign to them, mostly to Odo. I wanted to bring up the awkward part of him that's not entirely comfortable in his own "skin" by giving him a uniform that doesn't quite fit him and a more hunched posture than he has in the series.

For Kira I just wanted to stylize her uniform a bit more, I think Disco pants are A Look, specially since I've been playing Disco Elysium!
