Colorblind challenge ft. the ringmaster of the ever
honestly I dunno what I was fretting about with the whole "unrecognizable palette", this turned out surprising really well and... consistent?? (which shouldn't be a total surprise as this WAS my second attempt at the challenge)
I really like how this turned out, reminds me a bit of the difference filters I would put on my art if I'm feeling E X T R A, so ig this would be a challenge complete? Unless you count my laziness to put a substantial amount of palettes to use as a "fail", which I totally did not cut the amount "required" in half because I didn't really need that many + I could NOT be bothered today
Ahhh happy 75th birthday Roger Taylor, I hope you have a lovely one! 🥰💕💖
This time I wanted to challenge myself and replicate a "colorblind" thing I saw on YouTube, with artists making a color palette, turning the canvas to greyscale and pick the colors only based on their value without knowing exactly which color you're using! To play safe as my first time I only selected the skintone and the eyes but everything else is random and chosen "blindly" 🙏🏻💕 I think it's fitting for our beloved "Blind Melon" Roger 😅
I hope you'll like this! 🥰

I had seen this challenge that i really wanted to try. To set your PC to greyscale and then pick colours and draw them. And since I still had the lovely line art that @sand-shark gave me of Sun.
I decided to colour him again with this challenge.
this is what i coloured ( i could only take a picture of the screen, so I bet lesser quality)
And this is how he turned out. He turned into a frog version? ....swamp version? of himself.
I also accidentally overdid the glow on his left eye. But this was so fun to do! I am gonna do this again. Maybe for both moon and eclipse?
Oh and here is a link to how i coloured him the first time. In case anyone was curious!
i tried that challenge where you draw with your screen on greyscale and dont reveal the colours until the end!! turned out way bluer than i expected but i actually really love it
[Image ID: Aelrindel, a high elf. He has pale skin and long black hair, which is tied into four braids and a bun while the rest hangs loose. He wears a decorated military uniform, a crown, and extravagant earrings. He is holding a rapier in front of himself, smiling unnervingly. A cape billows behind him. The first image is in blues with a hint of red; the second is the same image in greyscale. End ID.]
colorblind challenge. i spent half an hour putting off the process of turning colors back on because i was convinced it would look lke shit. but somehow i managed to entirely MISS half the colors. anyway
(I got the images from Google with the bedtime mode so I have literally no idea what the color of anything was and to be honest I think it came out pretty good:) )
Also here the other art pieces
(I Try to make them both connect in a way like the devil girl is like supposed to be like one of the entertainment worker for thus place and this guy is like the ringmaster or like the ringmaster assistant)
attempted to do that thing of getting a color palette and painting with it while having your screen in grayscale lol i actually rlly like how it turned out ,, its been a while since i posted monty python stuff :p
Can I just say? mountain dew really needs to redesign their diet bottles, because I'm not colorblind but trying to tell the two apart at a glance is downright ludicrous - they're just two different shades of green! At least coke and pepsi use black labels
