HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GALACTA KNIGHT!!!! And congratulations to Meta Knight for experiencing the Cain Instinct for the first time.

Galacta Knight, as you might've been able to tell already, is one of my favorite characters, and KSSU is one of my favorite games (the original SS was my introduction to Kirby!) so I wanted to go all out. Happy day, old man. I pray for at least 20 more years.

Oh, and don't worry! He's not upset about the cake smash, he thinks it's funny. And he got back at him.

As for the in-universe explanation for there being 16 candles in his cake?

... 500+ didn't fit in safely.

The birthday boy and his family were just a bit too flammable.

I made some color palettes inspired by the 5 seasons of the life series! Wasn't planning to share these here at first, but Twitter seemed to really like em :D

I tried to not default to the traffic light color scheme for these, as much as I do love it. wanted to try and break the mold a little :) the 3rd Life palette is a notable exception tho, lol

I completed this in one sitting because I knew exactly where I wanted to go with it when I saw the heavily green palette. I had to really dig through Cass's posts to try and find the first appearance of Robo Raph.

I purposefully forwent doing the cleaner lineart I tend to do for these now and drew on my earlier color palette illustrations; rougher lines and using the effects on the colors create lighting and shading with them.

I am not very versed in drawing robots, so I struggled trying to make Raph's face look more sharp and less squishy.

Also, I love that right as I was getting ready to sign it "Between the Raindrops" by Lifehouse and Natasha Bedingfield started playing on my rottmnt playlist! <3
