it seems I only post at the end of each block but I KILLED my endocrine/reproduction final and I’m still really excited about it :)

we started psychiatry this week, and I’m freaking out a bit because it���s my last block of pre-clinicals. It’s so difficult to believe I’ve made it this far!

Obviously we have to wait for the video to know the story, but for anyone who’s studied any kind of social history/psychology/sociology/etc. And knows a little about the diagnosis of hysteria, Victorian mores, the use of lobotomies/shock therapy/etc to treat women who failed to live up to patriarchal ideals and the minimizing of women’s physical and mental health issues historically in the medical and psychiatric fields plus the old Hollywood of it all… the imagery is Telling The Story. I am fucking SEATED.

Today I'll go study in the library, then I'll take part in a study for one of my psychology courses and finally in the evening I have schedualed a dance class with one of the most famous dance teachers in my country. Hope it will turn out good :3

I've never seen a clown bigger than Mamata Banerjee, she joined the rally which was being lead against her government- all I took from this shitshow is that she thinks it's just a students issue and she can tame us just like that- here people, hell doctors are getting beaten up by mobs probably sent by her govt and she's joing the rally????? for what???

yesterday we finished neuroscience block AND our 6 month long anatomy course 😭 I remember our first day of anatomy orientation when the professor was (half jokingly) saying that we’re gonna have to tell friends and family we’re too busy for the next 6 months…he was so right LOL it’s amazing being on the other end of that course
