“I swear you’ve got me hypnotized.” Frank said softly, turning away from the movie they were watching to look at the other. While he meant it as a joke, Frank did have to admit there was some truth to it. He’d abandoned seriously watching the movie in favor of glancing over at them, since they held his attention much better. And he’d found that when he was with them, he didn’t have to hide any part of himself. He didn’t have to stay on guard. He found himself becoming more open minded, and hell, with them he actually liked trying new things and straying from his comfort zone.

things i learned from reading the read riordan blog (aka, things i chose to consider canon from now on)

- thalia gave reyna a dagger with her initials on it for valentine's day

- nico hates summer, will tries to convince him otherwise

- hazel spent some time playing bingo with old ladies at the retirement home, swooned over Clark Gable with them, and then danced the Lindy Hop

- both annabeth and grover got percy a PlayStation for Christmas

- nico blames his stepmom for him getting sunburns every time him and will go to the beach (meanwhile, will gets a tan, but. i mean.)

- frank is undisputed mythomagic champion of camp jupiter (implying that they have tournaments?? It also says he's the undisputed champ of chb but i'm ignoring this obvious error)

- percy is getting better grades than annabeth

- percy said, quote, "college is a breeze"

- persephone spends her time away from the underworld getting her PhDs in biochemistry and biology

- calypso is in a punk rock band

Lily and James were pregnant with Harry when they were 19/20 so if your muggle/college AU doesn't have Lily freaking the fuck out between lectures, James asking his dad for a bigger allowance because now he has to buy more than redbulls, microwavable meals and alcohol, OR Sirius and Remus watching harry run around the quad while Lily takes a final and James is at wrestling/rugby/any sport practice, I don't want it. Bonus points if Alice "out of college and married, thus making her a 'responsible adult' in Lily's eyes despite being 23 and tired" Longbottom babysits Harry and forces him and Neville to be friends. Bonus Bonus points if Harry is born during Marlene and Dorcas's semester abroad, and when they come back and watch harry, everyone thinks they had a baby.

And done!! After 20 hours!!!!! AAHH!! I feel something is missing, but this was to Celebrate my 1 year (..and 10 days..) of being interested in Welcome Home! I'm so Happy with how far I've come since first discovering the ARG, in terms of both my art and my mental health! I've become significantly more confident and creative, Thanks to the community and Clown as well as everyone else working on Welcome Home! HELP. My criminal law professor just constructed following case:

I always giggle when my school talks about media social and they’re like: “Oh be careful what you post online, when you apply to college in the future they’re gonna check your profiles and if you post something embarrassing or inappropriate they’re gonna see it”

And I’m just here like: “Wow, colleges can search up ‘Ryan Ross rose vest’ on google and see the one I made. Or they can go on my tumblr and see my posts about amazing New Mexico sunset and that I want the Helena dance to be performed at my funeral.”

Like I think the worst thing they’ll find from me is the fact I made a post about how when emo people moan, it sounds like the “uh’s” in destroya, while “normal” people just make random noises
