realized all of my bookmarks from previous web browsers were actually saved to this computer so I spent the whole day going through my old stuff, it was great but nothing infuriates me more then seeing so much of it was gone. not just tumblr posts that were deleted but like whole websites, collectives, archives, flash sites and games, forums just entirely gone and not available on wayback machine. Like we really don't think about digital space as physical but there are servers and hard drives for storage, wires running connections, cooling that needs to happen - things inevitably get cut to make space for more important stuff, folks stop paying their website hosting bills and probably never think about it again but I do!!!!

I feel such an intense amount of anger every time I hear the "nothing disappears on the internet" phrase as an archivist.

I will be honest as someone who romanticizes love this question as kept me awake on many nights and has made me daydream a lot. SO as a result I have decided to make a pac on this topic. Okay so as soon as i started this reading i got the message that most people who chose this picture may not have had an actual relationship in a sense that you might have felt as if something was always lacking or you may not have been treated right in a relationship. And i do see that you have a unexplainable fear that maybe the person you will fall in love with wont fall for you? or you may doubt their affection for you as you seem to have severe trust issues. You may be the kind of person who doubts love but is also dreaming about it. you may show as if you don't believe in love or that money matters more for you but you know deep down that is not true.

I also sense that this group is divided into two subgroups as this group seem to have two similar yet different love stories.

group one : you guys may be a Virgo, cancer or Sagittarius sun moon or rising. You guys can have medium to short curly hair. you may have a mole on your arm or right shoulder. You may have a small friend group consisting 3-4 people including you. one of your friends can be of different race or religion. Some of you may be in high school or 1st-2nd year of collage. Pumpkin and grapes may be significant for you.

your love story : There may be a sense of "saving the other" in your love story. you know how a person is suffering and the other person comes into their life and saves them that is the vibe that I am getting from your love story. Your future spouse may enter you life when you will be dire need of help or when you will be suffering or vice versa. You may be the damsel in distress, but i see that You wont ask your future spouse for help intentionally. You are someone who wont ask for help no matter how much they are suffering and your future spouse is someone who WANTS to help other no matter what but they have been used by a lot of people because of this. They are well aware of the fact that people only approach them because of their personal benefit and this makes them quite upset. But but but i also sense that they would want to help not financially but emotionally. They would want to help you with everything they can and this may be the one of the majors reasons why you will fall for them. They will help you find purpose in your life again. They will make you fall in love with life.

SO the movie that resembles your love story is EK VILLAIN. This is an Indian movie and I would suggest you to watch it. i wont spoil it for you if you have not watched it yet, but leave out the parts that don't resonate with you.

Group two : You guys can be a Taurus, Leo or Aries sun moon or rising. you may have a mole of your back or on one side of your neck. You guys may have long dark hair or dark brown hair that reaches past your armpits. You may have a fear of lizards or any kind of reptile. i sense that some of you may be studying business or you plan to start you own soon? You may have gold jewellery that you wear regularly.

Your love story : As I said earlier both these groups will have a similar yet different love story and the sense of "saving the other" is also present in this group but the only difference is that you will be the one who will save your future spouse/partner. They may be really popular or into music because i see that they have a good singing voice. You guys can also work in the same field or profession. I see that you guys will encourage them to give their best when they may feel low or when they may doubt themselves. This is the group of misunderstood people lol. I see that people always try to find flaws in you or blame you for the things that have nothing to do with you. But i also sense that you someone who jumps into conclusions and overthinks their situation. Things may not be as they appear. You are someone who has lost a lot of people that were close to you and you don't want to go through the same pain again, so as a result you have put a wall between you and other. And now you don't care if people misunderstand you or spread rumours about you. I am getting friends to strangers to friends to lovers. Its really complex and complicated. But yes it seems as if somebody else was involved in your love story and no I am not talking about third party situation. its more of a "yes I like this person and I am talking to them" from their side and "you are my friend and I like you but wont tell you because you like somebody else so I wont tell you" OR "yes I like you but wont tell you because I don't want to ruin our friendship" from your side. But I sense that they will realise their feelings a lot later and when you wont be talking to them. I also sense that you may move away from them to forget them or you may even move to another country for job or education.

But we all know how the universe works in strange ways that you may have never considered. So you will end up meeting them again but in a different way as compared to before. And they will be the one to express their love for you and will do everything to win your heart.

So the movie that resembles your love story is KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI and a little bit of DDLJ. Both these movies have the same acter and actress. But the plot is not same its similar with slightly different storyline.

Konoha was just established for a year.

Hearing the Uchiha Clan Head sighing loudly for the tenth time this afternoon; seriously made Tobirama to consider if he needs to whip out his Water Dragon to yeet off the man far away from his and Kagami's personal training ground.

He so badly wanted to snap what the hell is wrong with the other man. But he didn't want Kagami seeing him lose his temper in front of his Clan Head. Who knows what Madara would do if he even crosses an invisible line set by him.

Another loud sigh had made Tobirama's eyebrows twitch again.

" You suck at this babysitting, Senju. "

Tobirama's eyebrows nearly flew off his forehead at the confusing statement of the Uchiha Clan Head.

Kagami had paused in his Kata, looking incredibly curious as to what his Clan Head might say and Tobirama quickly gestured to the boy to not slack off. Thankfully, Kagami ( is a good child who listens well to the Adults around him ) went back to his Katas without much of a fuss.

Tobirama turn to where Madara sat sprawled on the engawa of the Uchiha Main House. He glowered at the other man with an intensified glare that screams explain yourself or I'll disembowel you.

Madara shrugged.

" Most babysitters that looked after Kagami had tried to seduce me one way or the other. "

Tobirama stared blankly and then stared some more at the Clan Head who stared back at him with a curious look in his face.

He then took a deep breath, just in case he misheard the other man.

The Albino then calmly answered.

"And then what, Uchiha?. You expected me to do the same?. "

Madara blink at him, then nodded. As if Tobirama seducing him was supposed to be a done deal.

Tobirama pops a vein in his forehead. " Didn't it ever occur to you, Uchiha. That I am only interested in babysitting Kagami and I couldn't careless about his Guardians?. "

Madara stared, looking utterly confused. He opens his mouth and what comes next out of it made Tobirama blush from his head - down to the tips of his toes.

" Well, for starters the reason why I expected it...if you had seduce me..I would have been a willing victim. "

Kagami loudly whooping behind him, made Tobirama whipped his head in shock at his utterly delighted student.

" I knew I wasn't imagining it!. I told Danzo and Hiruzen that Madara-sama drools whenever he sees Sensei!. Just wait until I tell them that Sensei will marry into my Clan!. "

" Wait! Kagami!. " Tobirama was a little too late to stop his little student from darting off happily towards the Sarutobi Clan Compound. He startled as a set of hands rested on his shoulder and Madara's voice seductively whispered in his ear.

" Shall we make Kagami's wish come true then?. "

Tobirama shivered in dread...or was it anticipation?.

Hashirama looked up confusedly at his cousin twice removed who was the Gate guard on duty of the Senju Compound yesterday.

" You said, Tobirama hasn't returned since yesterday afternoon?. "

" Yes, Hashirama-sama. He told us he'll just be monitoring his Uchiha student at their Clan Compound yesterday and he will be back before dinner time. So I am quite....concerned because Tobirama-sama is not the type to missed his rigid schedule for a day. "

Hashirama sharply glared up at his cousin. " Tobio. Are you suggesting the Uchiha might have unlawfully detained my Brother?. "

Senju Tobio shrugged his shoulders. " It is his last destination yesterday, therefore it is impossible for the Uchiha to not know what happened to him. "

A knock on the Shoji doors interrupted whatever Hashirama's answer will be.

Without even waiting for Hashirama's permission, the Shoji door open and revealed a confused Senju Genin. A teenager who was probably relegated to run around and be a messenger for today.

Hashirama straightened up from his seat and smiled encouragingly at the hesitant child.

" Uh. Hashirama-sama...why did the Uchiha sent a missive about Tobirama-sama will be legally joining the Uchiha Clan from now on?. "

Hashirama nearly ripped off the scroll from the child messenger. His eyes frantically darted to read what was in the scroll.

A second later, his furious Chakra lashed out menacingly and most of the Senju wisely dived down to wherever they need to hide in.

For the rest of the Konoha Ninja Clans...the furious Chakra of the Hokage lashing out didn't faze them much.

But the blood curdling howl and bellows had sent ice sliding down their spines.

They hope whoever poor bastard that had pissed off their Kage should just wisely retreat...or better yet vanish from the Elemental Nations.

Bone Deep Divination

This is just going to be a quick post explaining curiomancy/osteomancy, showing my curiomancy set, and providing some tips so that you can make your own set.

Curiomancy is the art of divination through small, symbolic objects—anything from a key to a coin, a feather, or a seashell. Osteomancy, its bony cousin, uses bones—animal, occasionally human, ethically sourced—to glean insight from the way they fall or relate to one another. Both practices are intuitive, tactile, and highly personalized, making them stand out from more rigid systems like tarot or runes.

Keep a journal or list to log your piece meanings.

My curiomancy set took me about three years to complete. Each item was individually chosen based on my own, personal association with that object. What makes curiomancy and osteomancy deeply personal is that you build your own set. You choose what each item means, or better yet, let the item tell you. A plastic spider could represent opportunity. A wheat-back penny might speak of money, luck, or something worth remembering. Over time, your collection becomes a living language—one only you truly speak.

I keep a special cloth with my kit that I use to read with. It has a custom sigil on the back.

Creating your own set connects you directly to your practice. It forces you to observe patterns, develop symbolism, and work with intuition over preset meanings. That makes it wildly potent. This is your cosmology, not someone else’s.

Tips for Selecting Bones or Curios:

• Let them call to you. You’ll know when a piece belongs in your set—it’ll catch your eye, feel odd in your hand, or tug at your gut.

• Start small. Don’t aim for 30 pieces right away. Begin with 7–13 and let the rest come organically.

• Ethical sourcing matters. For bones, find remains in nature or purchase from reputable sellers. Know the animal if you can; its spirit may linger.

• Balance the energies. Mix light and dark, organic and artificial. You’re not building a pretty set—you’re building a tool that mirrors the world.

• Keep a record. Write down meanings as they emerge, but allow them to shift over time. Like bones, meaning is alive until it's not.

• Do practice readings to learn how your pieces interact with one another and the surface/spread. I read my bones in a spiral, others may use quadrants or a custom map.

Both curiomancy and osteomancy are less about the pieces and more about the story they tell together—an evolving mythos whispered by wood, metal, plastic, glass, and bone. This ancient divination form is still as relevant and potent today as it has ever been.

SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 DR

I love that Lloyd is still bad at emotions.

Like he isn’t bad in the sense that he can’t deal with them, but more like he knows how important they are.

But because of this, he really struggles to be like helpful in an emotional conversation.

We see this when he says “I have to believe if master Wu did this…it was for a good reason”

And then when Arin understandably sees it as some sort of excuse, he immediately stutters and doesn’t know what to say. He wants to clarify what he means, but he doesn’t want to sound like he’s making more excuses.

Like we see it to a far lesser degree in SOG when he and Harumi went for that walk. When she talks about how tough it is being a princess, Lloyd comes back with a sorta “yeah I know right?” But that time the mood is lighter so he actually has space to explain his word garbage.

(Like I truly believe Lloyd is an awkward man who struggles with actually normal people communication. Like he can do the formal “I am the son of the son of this famous guy” bit or the “we greatly appreciate your help” kinda phrases no issue, but if you’re like trying to talk to him normally it can be hard.

Anyway I feel like Lloyd might be autistic because like me he seems to struggle with communicating how he feels. Instead just expressing it when he’s so sad or angry he can’t hold it back anymore.)

But I got side tracked. My point is that Lloyd is trying so hard to be a positive force in these kids lives and it is killing him because he doesn’t know how to do that when he’s like actually trying.

Speaking of books, I think this idea of "Kirk as old paper books lover" (although I have an absolute fondness for this concept, esp somewhere like the door) isn't really particularly canonical in TOS.

Kirk is clearly a book nerd (and not just someone who reads a lot, but someone who reads thoughtfully, and quite complex, personally expressive things for him, preferring philosophy and ethics), and we're told about this already in the pilot, where Gary Mitchell mentions Spinoza as an author who was an obvious choice for Kirk:

MITCHELL: Well, I'm getting a chance to read some of that longhair stuff you like. Hey man, I remember you back at the Academy. A stack of books with legs. The first thing I ever heard from an upperclassman was, watch out for Lieutenant Kirk. In his class, you either think or sink. … KIRK: (looks at monitor) You? Spinoza?

And we do see paper books in Kirk's cabin (at least in The Conscience of the King), hardbacks, respectable editions on his desk and in the cabinet by his bed, but it's actually a pretty modest collection. It's clearly more than any other average inhabitant of the computerized 23rd century, but a far cry from his lawyer's collection in Court Martial (an episode that actually made me doubt that Kirk really has some kind of unbridled passion for collecting paper books):

KIRK: (Notices the piles of books everywhere) What is all this? COGLEY: I figure we'll be spending some time together, so I moved in. KIRK: I hope I'm not crowding you. COGLEY: What's the matter? Don't you like books? KIRK: Oh, I like them fine, but a computer takes less space. COGLEY: A computer, huh? I got one of these in my office. Contains all the precedents. The synthesis of all the great legal decisions written throughout time. I never use it. KIRK: Why not? COGLEY: I've got my own system. Books, young man, books. Thousands of them. If time wasn't so important, I'd show you something. My library. Thousands of books. KIRK: And what would be the point? COGLEY: This is where the law is. Not in that homogenised, pasteurised, synthesiser. Do you want to know the law, the ancient concepts in their own language, Learn the intent of the men who wrote them, from Moses to the tribunal of Alpha 3? Books.

Interestingly, in contrast to Cogley's clearly shabby and reread many times, but truly impressive and authentically old book collection, Kirk's much more restrained one looks a bit faceless, in its uniform style, tangible presentability, being in such perfect condition that they are either read with incredible care, or very rarely picked up (and here both options are possible, actually.)

Given what we know about Kirk's childhood/youth in TOS, we understand that he never/or for most of his life, didn't really have a permanent, settled place. Theoretically, this was possible in his childhood, about which we know virtually nothing (Where did he live before Tarsus IV? The first mention of Iowa only occurs in the films, but in TOS it remains a blank spot, and he could equally well have moved from place to place until he ended up on Tarsus, or grown up in one place), and while it was also possible after Tarsus and before entering the Academy (he had to live somewhere for at least 3 years), given that it had to be right after Tarsus, I doubt it could've actually felt like something stable/permanent. And after that, his life was obviously not tied to one place for long, and was kept in the conditions of a dorm room/ship cabin/etc. In many ways, his captain's cabin is the closest thing to home he's had in years. And considering that of all the cabins we're shown in TOS, Kirk's cabin is actually the most restrained in details and minimalist in its contents, I don't think he was really used to owning a lot of things, or being particularly attached to them.

There's a really interesting moment in This Side of Paradise where Kirk, under the influence of flower spores, is packing a suitcase (a sort of suitcase to that pseudo-paradise with everything he can need for this sort of trips) where he puts only his captain's shirts, and is about to put one of his captain's awards, which momently sobers him up, reminding him of who he is, and it pretty well illustrates his attitude towards things, which are more a part of his identity here and now, his role, than something personal. While he can certainly enjoy things (he clearly likes his green tunic), he treats them as something temporary, something he can practically and wisely use in the moment, obviously valuing non-physical things much more, and this logically correlates with everything we see about him in TOS.

Therefore, I, pretty headcanonically, perceive the books in Kirk's cabin not so much as this small, personally dear, re-read and annotated collection of books important to him, but rather as a good selection of publications that interest him, which he can turn to if he needs to, but which he obviously prefers to PADD, not because he doesn't like paper books (he does!), but because it's clearly more practical.
