First off, Happy Anniversary everyone!! 😍 I can’t believe AUJ is 10 years old!!😮  @thotinshield​ and I have worked really hard on this collab, and we hope that everyone enjoys! Honestly, it doesn’t matter which one you read first, but you won’t get the full story unless you read both sides.😉

Excerpt from Chapter 2:

“So I thought about you wanting to wait.” She began. “And I think you have a point.”

“ Yeah?” Vili perked up.

“I’m going to ease Thorin into the idea. On Wednesday. I won’t…tell him it’s you per say, but that I’m seeing someone. Feel him out. Would that make you feel better about it?”

“ Honestly? Probably.” He shrugged. “ Still…I shouldn’t have left you high and dry like that. I’m sorry.”

Dis bit her lip to hold in the relief she felt coursing through her body. She swayed side to side.

“So…you aren’t getting cold feet then?”

“About you? Not a chance.”

“Good. Because I’ve been thinking about what it would be like to live together.”

“ Yeah.”

“Yep. And just to give you a little preview.”

Dis opened up her robe, showing off the black lingerie underneath. She saw the phone slip from Vili’s hand as he stared, jaw dropped, giving her a feeling of satisfaction and a touch of smugness. However, that feeling quickly sunk into gut-plummeting horror when Thorin joined Vili at the window.

Consider for a moment: A slow-burn identity reveal “no one knows” AU with an emphasis on ghosts being taken seriously as an actual, world-changing threat.

Ghosts are treated as an exceedingly dangerous, but unavoidable force of nature. They can come and go without warning, through naturally occurring spontaneous portals. They're territorial, driven only by obsession and hunger for the living. Particularly powerful ghosts are on par with natural disasters.

Life goes on because there's simply no other option. All major buildings have varying levels of ghost shields, some stronger than others. Just about everyone has some form of personal shield, weapon, or general deterrent. For the most part, humanity takes this apocalypse in stride, barely keeping it all together because there's just enough safety to keep them all sane.

Which is why the rumors of Phantom being able to fully mimic a human body incites panic in Amity.

Phantom was already a nightmare as it was–one of the most powerful and intelligent ghosts on record. His territorial fights with other ghosts for haunting (hunting) grounds in Amity have made global news several times already. Powerful ghosts could appear more human–but to think he was transforming down to a cellular level? Hiding among them? Bypassing ghost shields and alarms? Picking them off one by one?

The focus is mostly with Lancer's class, and how the school deals with this new threat on top of everything else. Everyone is a suspect, no one is safe, and Danny Fenton in particular gets slowly more and more exhausted, apathetic, and… unnerving.

The stress, the lack of sleep, the fighting, no one to turn to, not even his best friends or family–it takes a toll on him. Starving himself doesn't help, but he refuses to do more than take small bites from the ambient life energy and emotion of the living around him. Nothing that won't actually do lasting harm. He begins to slip up more and more, which Sam and Tucker begin to notice but haven't quite connected the dots yet.

But, well. What else can Danny do when Pariah Dark comes knocking on Amity’s doorstep, and his whole class is in the line of fire?

Honestly, when bart came back to the past for his mission, he didn't expect to see one of his friends he left behind.

So excuse him for standing still and gaping like an idiot at the clearly looking teenager on his phone.

"Danny?!"

At the call, the stranger– his bestie— looked up.

"Bart!"

It is his friend.

The same black haired, too blue eyed teen with baby fat clinging to his cheeks, the same way his hair appears white and eyes green when unfocused and not paying attention.

Holy shit.

"How are you in the 21st century?!?!"

The boy merely blinks, looks down on his phone, and then looks up again.

"I should be asking you that! How are you here??"

"Timetravel duh! What's your excuse?!"

"I'm immortal???"

(It's similar to the spiderman meme, truly.)

(Bart is slightly glad none of his teammates or mentor or family members are here.)

It became somewhat of a game for them.

Everytime the speedster appeared in a different year, hell even universe for the kicks, the first thing he does is search for Danny.

(The teen is there, each time.)

And every time he succeeded, Danny helps him with the problem, or slightly nudges him to the path really.

(Each time bart worries less for the time stream and disturbances, his friend seems to be outside of it to truly bring harm.)

(And if he meets Clockwork along the way, that's a secret between them. And the part where he gets hired for the similar stuff danny gets sent to the past.)

(For them it's a casual Wednesday. So what if they just saved an entire planet? Its nothing big!)

Bart should have thought more over the decision to help the literal being of time itself.

Considering he is currently seated on a chair, Barry, Wally and dozen of other heroes (including his team standing behind him in an effort to show their support.) With demands of an explanation.

Damn it danny, why did you let those in the 13th century paint a portrait of them!!!

And the apparent ancient Egyptian art of them too?? In a museum??

What the hell danny!!! Way to throw him under the bus!!

DP: Revived would be a Phandom collaborative project/event bringing Phandom creators together to create a hypothetical animated reboot- the ultimate goal would be to create a coherent fake reboot announcement- maybe an animated trailer, maybe fake screencaps, maybe some episode/clip scripts, maybe some final character designs and environment designs! These could also be compiled into a Art Of book.
