She was alternate Christine 1992-1993, and then principal from 1993 and until the production closed in 2001. It means almost 10 years in the role and some 1,900 performances. During her alternate days Tim Tobin and Simon Tunkin was her principal Phantoms. Thomas Schulze, who was alternate Phantom at the time, took over as principal right after Colby Thomas did, c. 1994. He remained the Phantom until c. 2000 (or late 1999), hence all the photos of them together. On the other hand she played opposite many principal and alternate Raouls: Timothy Breese (1992-1993), Dale Tracy (1993-1996), Jörg Westerkamp (1995, 1997), Ray Gabbard (1997-1998), Björn Olsson (1998-2000) and Kyle Gonyea (2000-2001). Probably also more.

how has no one made an AU fic of the Batfamily as drag queens with Bruce as the House Mother. can you IMAGINE. "The Legendary House of Wayne" oh i'm SICK. Alfred never really considering himself a part of the House because he doesn't do drag but he did raise Bruce, Cass as a completely silent drag queen/king called Hush or something, Steph who also doesn't do drag and also isn't officially a part of the House but Bruce still sees her as a daughter(ie he was still the one to teach her how to do makeup and style outfits and such just like his drag daughters), Bruce viewing Jason searching for his birth mother as a rejection of the House, DAMIAN still being Bruce's only biological child who has no idea where he fits in the family and doesn't understand House structure, Dick being so lost and angry and never wanting someone to replace his parents but accepting Bruce as his drag mother but not "real mother", leading to painful misunderstandings, DUKE originally having two loving, supportive parents and only knowing the House because he's friends with Tim/Steph/Cass, coming to live with Bruce after his parents are hospitalized, and the emotional moment of him becoming Bruce's drag daughter 🥹

Something for the Like Minds community to mull over: Alex is an unreliable narrator.

Who knows if his story is even true, and if some of it does track to keep in line with the crimes and obvious evidence that does get backed up by what he does say, it is still Alex telling the story only from his own perspective. We don't get Nigel's perspective. And Alex was clearly deceiving Toni Collette's character too.

So the only conclusion we can draw is that Alex is an unreliable narrator and the story shown to us is likely not what happened. At least not how he said it did. Just something to think about... And discuss if y'all want.

“Last year, the Supreme Court, in an originalist opinion by Justice Clarence Thomas, held that the Second Amendment precludes virtually any gun control limitations that were not widely employed historically.

Thomas argued that if our nation doesn't already have a long and demonstrable historical tradition of limiting access to firearms in a particular way, then the government is not permitted to enact such a limitation today.

But of course, the vast majority of modern gun control laws don't have clear historical analogues. We didn't face the same concerns back then. Guns were much less sophisticated and much less deadly, and our society was very different. Of course, we didn't enact laws way back then to address today's unique concerns.

A few months ago, relying on that originalist decision of the Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the federal law prohibiting persons under a restraining order for domestic violence or domestic abuse from owning a gun.

At the time of the framing, domestic abuse was not a crime.

A husband had a legal right to assault or even to rape his wife. Thus, historically, there obviously were no laws preventing domestic abusers from owning a gun.

Therefore, under the Supreme Court's originalist rule, such a law is unconstitutional today. And thus, the Fifth Circuit struck the federal law down.

But of course, historically, women were considered to have virtually no rights at all. And women had no ability to vote, no ability to hold public office, no ability to participate in the political process by which the historical laws determining the scope of permissible gun regulation were made.

In that bygone era, the laws way back then were made by the men doing the beating, not by the women being abused.

And yet, originalism tells us that the fact that the exclusionary, unjust political process of a long gone age did not protect domestic abuse victims means that all federal, state and local governments everywhere today are powerless to protect those women.

Every single day in America in 2023, multiple women are shot and killed by domestic partners, and the government can do nothing to keep them safe, because 200 years ago, the men in power didn't think that domestic abuse was a problem.

That's no way to decide constitutional law cases in the 21st century.

It's just not.”

Please keep in mind that everything is to be taken with a grain of salt. All readings are allegedly, for entertainment purposes only. I am not a mind reader. I am not an "I can see all" psychic. I am an intuitive tarot reader that reads for that moment in time at which the reading is taking place. I read patterns.

Since it should be for fun and connection with yourself and human connection with another person, I am offering readings for $10.

I do tarot readings via video call; Discord, Instagram, Google Hangouts, Facebook. I can do readings over just voice call. I can do readings where you can see me but I can't see you; all via a hybrid video/voice call. Or I can record myself giving the reading for you and then sending it to you. SKIN (2018) Grade: C+

Started off really good and grabs ur attention, had a good cast of supporting characters. Lost some steam in the 3rd act. Interesting plot for a film based off a true story.
