It's a long trip and when Chase gets to Chestnut Ridge, it's not hard to find Colby's place, even if it's a bit of a hike from town.

At first, his old friend and former boss seems too distracted by his dog and his goats. It gives Wyatt a moment to steel his nerves.

W: Colby!

Colby can't believe his eyes at first, but he can't argue when Chase moves closer.

Colby: Chase?

Chase: Hey, uh.. Surprise? I um.. I'm not dead, boss.

It's awkward but what else is he supposed to say? There's no good way to say it.

Colby: Damnit, Chase. I ain't your boss, now get over here. Watcher, what happened to you?

It's a good feeling, being embraced by his friend, Chase just hopes it'll last.

Chase: That's a long story. You gotta promise to keep an open mind.

Colby: I got all the time in the world. You ain't leavin' until I get an explanation.

Chase: You haven't changed, Colbs.

Colby: You have. C'mon inside. It's not much here but I can get you a cold drink.

Chase: Sure. Thanks.

Colby: Now, what happened? There was so much blood, but we never found your body.

Chase: It was a setup. The werewolves bit me, then dragged me off. Asking me about labs in Strangerville. Crazy things. Accused us of taking away wolves that were innocent.

Colby looks guilty and he takes a moment to respond.

Colby: They weren't wrong, Chase. Just that we didn't know it. Lotta stuff went down after you were gone. So they turned you?

Chase: Yeah. I've been searching for a cure ever since. I'm not a monster though. I promise.

Chase: I have more control, now. I mean, I have someone. A Spellcaster, can you believe it? He's good, Colby.

Colby can't help but feel uneasy about it but this is Chase, he can't think bad of him.

Colby: If you were, you wouldn't have come here. I'm just glad you're alive.

Chase: I'm glad you don't hate me. I was afraid if you ever found out...

Colby: I can see why you might've thought that. You don't know what happened. None of us are the same.

Chase: Why don't you tell me what I missed, then.

It's not an easy story to tell. It takes some time. Chase understandably has a lot of questions. Colby does his best to answer them.

Colby: You found me first?

Chase: Yeah, do you know where the others are?

Colby: Mhm. Derrick's in Strangerville, Rocco's in San Myshuno.

Colby: You should go see them.

Chase: Might take some time, I'm living in Sulani now.

Colby whistles, that's quite the trip.

Colby: Maybe you should visit Derrick before you go home. Not too far. You gonna explain that ring?

Chase smiles at the ring and blushes, but talking (gushing) about Wyatt is easy. He explains about how they met, and their crazy romance.

Chase: It was crazy, but.. I love him.

Colby: I can see that. Always were impulsive. Next time you visit, bring him. I wanna meet 'im.

All too soon, it's time for Chase to go.

Colby: Don't be a stranger. Keep me updated, ok?

Chase: Yeah, of course. Gotta let Wyatt know I might be a day later. Go see Derrick.

Colby: Good man.

Wisconsin Headcanons

Wisconsin’s State Spirit is lead gray stripes that cover his forearms, the pattern resembling that of a muskellunge (or muskie). There’s a bit of webbing between his fingers as well as a pelvic fin and back fin on each of his forearms that phase through his clothes. [#6C6C6A]

The muskellunge is the official state fish and the state is one of the best for catching big world record muskies.

Wisconsin is also known as the Badger State not because of badgers, but because of the 1820’s lead miners that dug tunnels to sleep in and keep warm like badgers do.

I have Wisconsin’s physical appearance as Charlie Berens’s. He’s already the Wisconsin guy anyway and it gives a little more variety in looks.

Wisconsin’s eyes are quite piercing and can give off some serial killer vibes.

Eats the most amount of dairy out of anyone in the house. Milk, cheese, ice cream, he eats as much as he drinks, which is to say a lot. It’d make a lactose intolerant person explode.

As America’s Dairyland, Wisconsin is the leading dairy producer. He also beats out California in cheese production.

The first ice cream sundae was actually produced in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. It’s his favorite way of enjoying ice cream.

His tone of voice is often so dry that you can’t really know at first listen if he’s joking or what he’s saying is satire or not.

The Onion, America’s finest news source, was started by two University of Wisconsin-Madison students. The fact that it’s headquartered at Chicago now does irk him a bit.

Wisconsin rides an old-school Harley-Davidson from the 80’s. Michigan helps him maintain it.

Wisconsin is also a surfer, but he prefers surfing on freshwater lakes than the salty ocean. He also prefers kite surfing to normal surfing or paddleboarding.

Sheboygan has been called the “Malibu of the Midwest” due to having the best waves of the Great Lakes.

Barbie is from the fictional town of Willows, Wisconsin. Wisconsin indeed be like:

From This Is Some Serious Waffle House Behavior, Wisconsin decided to keep the gator he found and named him Cheddar. Cheddar is a good boi. Cheddar is precious. Sconnie likes to hug him and protect him and see him smile.

Wisconsin dresses his son in a Packers sweater and a tail sock with his name emblazoned on it to keep him warm in the colder climate. The lovely boy is often chilling next to the heater during colder months.

Illinois tried to sneakily dress Cheddar in a Cubs sweater once, but one warning hiss reminded the state that Cheddar was indeed an alligator and he promptly ran away. 

Wisconsin was able to provide funding to open a new alligator rehabilitation center in Florida with the state’s enthusiastic approval. Gators that have been found in unsuitable habitats are brought there to be cared for and eventually be returned to the wild.

As Cheddar has already been hand-reared and spoiled due to Wisconsin’s inexperience, his son isn’t ready to be released back into the wild. He’s a lot more careful now when caring for new gators. Some notable members of the center are Muenster, Mozzie, Colby, and Brick.

College of Idaho: 2022-23 NAIA Men's Basketball Champions

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – It took 27 years and a thrilling final 20 minutes of basketball for College of Idaho to earn its second national title. The Yotes held Indiana Tech off just long enough to complete its task and earn a 73-71 victory to hoist the coveted red banner.

College of Idaho did what it has done all season and started off the game red hot. The Yotes took control early and broke-off a 19-4 run to get things started. While the offense was impressive, the defense was just as. One of the top five in average defensive scoring margin in the 2023 NAIA National Championship field, the team from Caldwell, Idaho held the Warriors to six points in the first eight minutes, which set the tone.

The Yotes led by as much as 21 points in the first half as Tyler Robinett led the way. The sophomore was three-for-three from three-point range and led all scorers with nine points. Charles Elzie finished the opening frame with seven as Indiana Tech was able to cut the deficit to 19 before the break. Indiana Tech was held to just over 35 percent from the floor and went 1-7 from the free throw line.

Just 24 hours earlier, Indiana Tech erased a 16-point deficit, 11 at the half on their way to a win over Georgetown. On Saturday night, the Warriors looked to do the same and within minutes, began to cut into the lead.

Down by as many as 23 with just over 16 minutes to play, the Warriors put together a 10-2 run to begin climbing back. By the 12:01 mark, Rog Stein knocked-down a three-ball to put Indiana Tech within 13. Three and a half minutes later, the lead was down to 10 as College of Idaho called a timeout to try to end the momentum.

Indiana Tech climbed all the way back as the time continued to wind down. While College of Idaho was able to keep the Warriors at bay for the most part, they finally began to break through in the closing minutes.

The team from Fort Wayne brought it all the way back to within four, thanks in large part to the 18 points provided by Rog Stein, but came just short of repeating the magic of one night ago in the closing seconds.

Jake O’Neil led the Yotes with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Samaje Morgan added 13 points and Tyler Robinett chipped-in 11. In the end, however, it was Charles Elzie that was named the Chuck Taylor Tournament MVP for his outstanding performance throughout. The junior finished final site play with 67 points.

For Indiana Tech, bot Blake Davidson and Max Perez finished with 12 points while Josh Cline recorded 11 to round out the scorers in double digits, along with Stein’s 18.

College of Idaho finished the season on a 36-game win streak after suffering just one loss in the first game of the season to Arizona Christian.

C: Hello there, good lookin'. Ya hungry? No collar, you got someplace to call home?

No reply from the dog other than to sniff curiously at the offered hand. He's found worthy and greeted with a canine smile.

C: Aw, look at you. You're a good girl. We'll get you checked out tomorrow. But I suppose if you have nowhere else to go, you could stay here with me, how about that?

A soft bark answers him as the dog leans into the pets. She seems content with this decision.

I write imagines, headcannons, smut and reblog various posts. I do take requests but it varies between being open and closed, make sure to check my bio to know whether my requests are opened or not. Usually I only close requests to catch up.

You can always send a scenario in just to talk about or maybe you just wanna talk abt your day, whether requests are open or closed I will always take these and I will always respond!!

I’ve decided that I will open requests for a month or two and then close them and take a month or two to catch up on those requests.

So there will be a fic every 1-2 months.

I will not write certain things if they make me uncomfortable. i write for the characters in the list below but you can of course, request a character. If i feel uncomfortable with this scenario or character, or do not know that character i will not write the request.

i try to make my imagines for everyone so i wont be doing certain details like eye color, hair color, race, ect

all though you can request a fic where The reader has a certain body type and the focus of the fic is that

i.e “hey I wanna request a shameless smut with Carl where the reader is insecure about their body because they are on the heavier side and have stretch marks and carl helps them feel better about themselves?”

i will not be writing for a particular race because i am white and i would feel uncomfortable writing as a certain race because i have not experienced their experiences nor am i that race and fully informed with certain cultures.
