War and weather impact on coffee production
Every summer, the Sahara Dust drifts across Jamaica’s skyline, affecting this luxury coffee-growing island, already vulnerable to violent weather. For locals, the sight of the dust reinforces that summer is here! Remember, all weather involves the transfer of heat. If desert dust is visible, what about the thousands of missiles fired in recent years across the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and…

Now that you've answered the poll, may I please direct your attention to Abood and his Gofundme campaign and their story:
"Hello, my name is Andy. I live in Ohio, but I am organizing this fundraiser for Abood and his wife who are stuck in Gaza. They're hoping to gain enough money to evacuate to Egypt.
Here are his words:
"Hello, I am Abood from Gaza. I am 25 years old. I got married 5 months ago. This means that I got married during war.
Tumblr media
"I studied accounting, graduated with a high average, and worked in a chain of clothing stores that my father owned
Tumblr media
"My wife and I now live inside a small tent in an area that is not safe, but we have no other choice. We live in extreme heat that cannot be tolerated by humans, and the presence of insects and pollution also affects my wife's health. Her health is deteriorating and I cannot provider her with the necessary care because of everything. We live with our only hope of survival, to travel, but the cost of leaving Gaza is very expensive. To be able to leave costs one person more than $8,000, and this is an insane number.
"That is why I ask you to help and save the lives of me and my wife from death."
Proof they are vetted here.
Here is their campaign:

Disney, Starbucks and Mcdonald's all had their stocks plummet to all-time lows this month, yet suddenly all of their stocks have now skyrocketed again at the same exact time (with Starbucks rising by 11%??), even though call for boycotts are stronger and louder than ever? Sounds like someone is lying about these new stocks numbers as propaganda to discourage people from boycotting them, almost like they're saying: "Why bother boycotting us when it doesn't even affect our sales anyways? Just come back already <3"
Either that or them selling their products for dirt-cheap helped temporarily rise their stocks for the time being, either ways don't stop boycotting these genocide supporters.

It is your voice that is likely to reach people who have not considered what Palestinian occupation really means. And realistically, it is your solidarity that can help shift public opinion in the west.

Coffee, a drink that embraces the soul with its captivating aroma, telling morning tales and igniting evening nostalgia with its rich flavor that combines warmth and alertness. ☕✨
But the war ruined everything, and we lost the flavor of life. Coffee has become devoid of color, taste, and aroma. 💔😔

Israel’s resilience in the wake of the Oct 7 onslaught has astounded many of its overseas supporters and opponents alike. Israel is making an astonishing comeback, as this week’s positive newsletter highlights.   On the Jewish New Year for trees, JNF-USA volunteers planted thousands of trees at the site of the devastated NOVA music festival. Israel’s largest printing press resumed operation 3 days after Hamas overran the kibbutz. The IDF brought back a tractor stolen by Hamas on Oct 7 from Gaza to its kibbutz owners. Wounded IDF soldiers are being brought back to health thanks to heroic rescues, surgeons using hi-tech medical technology, and empathic volunteers providing rehabilitation, respite, and emotional support.   Aside from the war, Israeli medical technology brought back the ability to communicate to a paralyzed Israeli woman. And an Israeli startup won an international award for regrowing human bone tissue. Meanwhile, two initiatives are restoring trust between Israeli Jews and Arabs.   Israelis are helping the USA bring its aging power grid back to life; and an Israeli startup is recycling waste into fashion products. Israel’s economy is certainly coming back, and a new Resilience fund is helping war-impacted startups make a comeback. Meanwhile El Al is increasing its flights to bring back tourists and to encourage international business.   The warm winter and welcome rains have brought back color into Jerusalem’s streets; Israel’s ice hockey team came back from being banned from a tournament, to winning all its 5 games; and Israel just celebrated the 20th anniversary of its greatest ecological comeback – the rehabilitation of the Hula Valley.   Finally, "they will all come to Jerusalem" – as the world gradually recognizes that the Jewish People have come back to their ancestral homeland, the Indigenous peoples of the world have opened an embassy in Jerusalem. The photo is of the Netanya offices of Elbit Systems, which has helped Israel make a fighting comeback.

the amount of American goyim who think they're allowed to justify what's happening in Israel and Palestine never ceases to amaze me. "I think they deserve it" "I think it's justified" cool no one cares what you think. When my grandmother with Alzheimers is killed by a Hamas rocket I'll be sure to tell my grandfather that a white American posted to their Instagram that they think shelling civilians is justifiable. That ought to help

like... i personally have friends whose loved ones are in ukraine. ive seen firsthand how the war in ukraine has traumatized and terrified them despite being safe here in so-called canada. they can't sleep at night because they are worried sick about the people they love. they are a shell of their former selves. the invasion of ukraine isn't some abstract thing for you to use as a rhetorical device, it isn't a fucking team sport, it isn't a joke for you to own the libs with or whatever, it's a real thing that affects real human lives. i have a profound disgust for people who speak of the war which such callous disregard.

When I was in prison, my mother visited me carrying fruits and coffee, and I will never forget her sadness when the jailer confiscated the coffee pot and poured it on the floor, and I will never forget her tears.
So I wrote her a personal confession in my cell on a pack of cigarettes in which I said:
I long for my mother’s bread, my mother’s coffee, and my mother’s touch,
and childhood grows in me one day on my mother’s chest,
and I love my life because if I die, I will be ashamed of my mother’s tears..
I thought this was a personal apology from a child to his mother, and I did not know that these words would be turned into a song sung by millions of children around the world.
- Mahmoud Darwish، the great Palestinian poet
