Coey Kuhn’s Tarot deck is finally upon us! If you love gothic & macabre themes, monsters, and catacombs, you’re going to love Catacombs’ End. If you follow Coey & Shy’s studio, they also recently had a catacomb themed shirt and hoodie made (they're quite nice!) and this follows that same art style and theme.

Catacombs’ End is a fully illustrated 78-card deck from the Ohio-based artist, standard tarot size on 410gsm black core stock in 2-piece box. Stretch goals include black edges and silver metallic ink (not foil) for some beautiful emphasis of the art.

Did Sloane and Miles get their skateboards in the land of the living or is there an underground skate scene in the Hallowlands? + What would their dream deck art look like?

I could answer this now, but I'll have a BETTER answer when book 2 comes out I think Sloane would have something super sick and monstrous on their board, in the style of maybe Miss Monster or Coey Kuhn. Miles's board would be 100% stickers. You didn't ask but, Gwen's dream board is her broom. If she did pick up another board it would be very Halloween themed with classic witch imagery and she'd probably enchant it to glow in the dark.

If you could get anyone to do art for a guest page (like maybe a dream sequence in a different style) who would you pick?

I had three knee jerk reactions in three different directions lol. 1) Resurrect Clifford W. Ashley to see if he wants to draw some focsle scenes for me. I love his ink work—there’s something very human and playful about it that I think it’d be so fun to see him build that world.

2) Ask Christopher Volpe paint a splash page of either a whaling scene or trying out scene for me. His work is so…haunting and greasy. It’s a real vibe. It’s like a Goth J.M.W. Turner.

3) Okay this isn’t a comic page but my dream commission is getting my Spooky Ghost drawn by Coey Kuhn…
