firstly, i appreciate that ! i think a key reason why new perspectives on dsmp have emerged is bc we see the writers as they truly are now. Messy, abusive, complicated people have written this story and now, for some key players at least, we have the rare ability to parse why it ended so terribly. The way the story (mis)handles the issues and themes they engaged with in real life were bound to be dissected like this after all that came out.

As for ur question, yes, I do think c!Tommy holds familial love for c!wil. A key factor in the creation of a codependent dynamic is ... well, let's just say mental conditioning. The one in power will heavily push themselves as the ultimate mentor/authority/guide, which is instilled through love bombing and isolation tactics. C!Tommy viewing c!Wilbur as a brother is one of the main reasons c!wil was able to take advantage of his loyalty, and in c!Wil's eyes, this justifies any mistreatment as "brotherly quarreling." C!Tommy's fondness for him also masks instances of c!Wilbur abusing his power. The codepdendent dynamic works to downplay c!Tommy's pain and minimize the severity of c!Wilbur's treatment of him.

That's not to say c!tommy's feelings aren't real, though! I know he truly looked up to and loved him at one point, and still might, but it's definitely more complicated than a yes or a no. Especially after years of conditioning. I personally believe he still loves him, I just don't think that emotion outweighs (nor should it have to) the trauma c!Wil inflicted.

There are aspects/overlays nutoriously known to be beneficial when it comes to settling together in the way that two people would share a living space and ressources, but of course the idea of building a home and/or having kids can (start to) exist no matter the astrological influence! So never let yourself be limited by that. Every aspect can eventually positively add to deciding to live together due to some form of harmony between two individuals.

Aspects/Overlays beneficial for settling down together in Synastry:

- Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Venus, any of the angles (Mars) in the 4th: creates instant familarity, both remind each other of aspects from home (can be for better or worse though), both like to remain home even, easiness being emotionally open with each other. Mars is in brackets because while it can be an 'aggressively' loving and caring the other placement, but can also cause lots of friction at home) - Moon conjunct/trine/sextile Mars: compared to Mars in the 4th, this one here causes two people to furiously stick together. (possibly) physical and emotional desire to be together, quarreling might be common, but I observed that often it's done out of care or because one cares 'too much', if you communicate well this won't be too much of a problem to begin with. - Venus/Moon sextile/trine/conjunct Saturn: The connection and each others feelings are taken seriously, strong sense of responsibility for the well being of another, wanting to be 'dutyful' to another.
