Synopsis: Lifelong friends Andy, Nora, Spice, and The Lion have graduated high school and realized they’ve gone their entire lives without doing anything “fun,” isolating themselves to focus on being the titular “good kids.” They decide to have a summer of debauchery before they enter college, each with a goal in mind. Nora wants a boyfriend, and dates an older man at her job; Spice wants “release” in the form of, most likely, a singular handjob; The Lion wants to do a shitton of drugs; and Andy wants sexual experience before his potentially-catfishing Indian girlfriend visits. He finds this in the group of older women he coaches at the tennis club, who pay him for “private lessons.”

Thoughts: my. fucking god. the milf thing. i don’t know what else i can talk about? when that happened? there was a MONTAGE of him FUCKING EVERY MILF IN CAPE COD (or wherever tf they are, definitely in new england). it hurts to see someone else live your dream (both him and the milfs). let me in there. anyways, accidentally getting into sex work at 18 is certainly not a great situation, but at least he’s having a good time. until the husbands unionized to come beat his ass. i know i say this often, but: This Was A Lot. overall a fun cheesy movie! i’d absolutely watch again. really captured the Nicholas Braun vibe of “unfuckable dork who somehow fucks severely.” i think, if anything, that’s what i’m learning. that’s who this man is at his core. and i respect it!

Her brother Steve's death in military action would eventually draw Carol back to her family, but she still never felt truly accepted by her father. She quickly rose to the top of her Air Force class, taking the call sign "Cheeseburger". While flying an experimental jet through Arabic air space, however, Carol was shot down and captured by a man named Ghazi Rashid, who tortured her for several days. She managed to escape (despite a broken leg and serious injuries), reach a CIA safe-house in the area, and provide key information to the intelligence community.

The traumatic experience set off a chain reaction and over the next few weeks her quirks manifested. She was sent into intense training to learn how to control her quirks and afterwards joined a group called The Avengers. A facet of which was gifted unto her when part of the central nucleus of a techno-organic alien named Cru had physically merged with her.  This facility also bolsters the potency of her metabolism, allowing her to quickly regenerate from catastrophic wounds such as nuclear detonation, genetic disruption even brood infection. Her newfound recovery abilities had the added bonus of restoring lost biophysical facilities; like her ability to shift between Binary and Carol at will.

what is your absolute favorite ship?what ship do you hate most?

(Under the cut because I ramble and cheat a bit here.) 

Favourite Ship: 

This is likely to come as a surprise to anyone who follows CITS (or not a surprise at all if you spend enough time hanging out with me on tumblr/skype) but my hand on heart favourite ship is Lara ‘Bones’ McCoy/ Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley. I know, I know,  I’ve spent six years of my life and about 300,000 words writing a fic that results in Lara/Soap, and don’t get me wrong here and don’t think that I don’t love that ship too. But lemme explain myself a bit here. 

Lara/Soap was always the plan. Like, when I first set out writing CITS, I wanted to achieve two things, the first was to write a story with a believeable female OC in the Modern Warfare universe, and the second was to write a romance option for my personal headcanon for Soap. At the start, Lara/Ghost was a plot device, a way for Lara to fuck up and make a mistake and a way to shake up the dynamic that existed between my three central characters. But I’m a big believer in organic story telling, in adapting how you write characters as your perception of them as a writer changes and that was what happened with Lara and Ghost. Somehow, I ended exploring and developing both of their characters in a lot more detail through the ship and it drove the plot of CITS forward in ways that I do not regret in the slightest. In the end, I had to break them up, because ultimately, there was too much groundwork laid already in CITS for Lara/Soap and in the context that I had written them in, it still made the most sense. 

That being said, the pairing has mad chemistry, beyond what I had originally planned. It’s always kind of been a plan of mine to go back and write a CITS!AU where they stay together because I honestly would love to write more of their dynamic. I am also hugely fortunate to have had the opportunity to have a writing buddy like @smashinterrupted who has written the pairing with me over the last two years (mainly through our RP blogs) and has been a driving force in fleshing out the ship to what exists in both our heads today. I could basically ramble about Lara/Ghost (or Skeleton as we like to call them) for days, and I guess if anyone wants to know more than its probably better to poke me about them in a separate ask? Otherwise I will be here for DAYS. 

Most Hated Ship: 

Hate is an incredibly strong word. I can’t think of a ship that really fits that description in terms of how much I dislike it, but there’s definitely a few ships that you are highly unlikely to see me write. I’m not throwing shade at anyone for writing these pairings btw, that really isn’t my style. 

John ‘Soap’ MacTavish/ John Price is just a no no for me. I’m all for slash, but for me this ship feels forced. I love these two characters, but they are always going to exist as a father/son relationship in my head. The same goes for Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley/ Gary ‘Roach’ Sanderson. I love these two as platonic BFFs and brothers, but again, I have never really seen them as lovers. It likely doesn’t help that in a lot of fanfictions with this pairing, Roach is always a bit... childlike? That’s another turn off in Satsuma land. 

Breaking out of CoD for a second, Dragon age and shipping Dorian/Cullen. Why???
