Alone on the Highwind
This is totally fictional, but hey…
After the date night with Tifa in Ff72, had a vision about Ff7 Pt3
Tifa affinity towards Cloud, maxed.
Cloud awakes to silence in the Highwind and gets to his feet, working the kinks out as a result of falling asleep on a bench, slouched against the wall. He looks around the cabin for Tifa and calls her name, but there is no answer. Cloud starts to panic and frantically searches for her. As he approaches the Chocobo pens, he can hear someone crying. Tifa is sitting in a stall in the hay, her arms around her drawn up legs and her head down on her knees.
Cloud, looking concerned, but somewhat relieved to have found her, sits down in the hay next to her. Tifa lifts her head to look at Cloud and he reaches out and wipes away her tears. Cloud provides some comforting words, she nestles her head on his shoulder.
They sit in completive quiet for a few moments. Cloud closes his eyes and whispers her name, but says no more. Tifa looks up at him and he meets her gaze. He caresses her cheek and then he gently kisses her. They fall into the hay out of view, and the scene fades to black. You then hear the kweh of a Chocobo.

this makes me so sad and angry
John is easily one of the best voice actors in the game, but because Barret doesn't get enough appreciation, he doesn't either. i'm so tired of the Barret erasure man, and so is he, understandably. Barret is one of the MAIN!!! characters and he gets nothing every fucking time. WHEN will this change.

#one of my favorite things about ffvii's story is that every tiny event comes with a million new What Ifs.#what if tifa didn't recognize cloud at the train station? what if she chose not to help him and instead just minded her own business?#what if cloud didn't have that sword? would tifa have even noticed him? or would she have assumed that he was just another mako junkie?#what if someone else had found him first? what if someone called public security and shinra came to 'investigate?'#why was cloud in sector 7 anyway? what if he'd been in sector 5 instead? would aerith have discovered him?#was he trying to catch a train up to the shinra building in order to follow the reunion? since jenova's body was up there?#every answer creates a bunch of new questions. the story writes itself in your own head. uuUUAAHHGHH i love this game#ffvii#cloud strife#tifa lockhart#my art <3#.............what if cloud had stumbled onto the tracks and gotten run over
