“George Davidson's cloud glass was made from 1923 until around 1960. It was made by adding trails of a darker coloured glass to a lighter colour whilst in the mould and the darker colour would be randomly spread through the lighter colour giving the appearance of ribbons. Acid was used to produce a matte finish in contrast to the polished surfaces.”
