If you’re new to visualization and astral projection, are having some difficulties with it, or even if you’re a veteran looking for resources, I highly recommend The Mentalist's Handbook: An Explorer's Guide to Astral, Spirit, and Psychic Worlds by Clint Marsh with illustrations by Jeff Hoke.

It was one of the first occult texts I picked up that I found refreshingly succinct and accessible. One of my biggest pet peeves is when occult authors describe tools or techniques but fail to explain the mechanics or don’t even attempt to offer any insight; Marsh not only details an approachable practice regimen but Hoke’s illustrations offer a bit of whimsy and inspiration for your own visualizations. Not to mention, the publication itself is just beautifully printed! Of course it is also available online in many formats but I definitely do not regret having a copy in my personal library!

Dear Journal… 🖊️

I’m in trouble.

I promised Clint I would babysit Nate, his youngest son, so him and Laura could have a little afternoon to themselves…and I lost him.

We were in the middle of the living room, playing connect 4 and I leave to go to the bathroom for one second!

In total at the house, I got all the Barton kids, Rochelle, Luna, Rick, Liane and Rei.

Nate Barton gave me a freaking heart attack! 😭

How can somehow so cute and small disappear so fast?! Then again his middle name is named after freaking Pietro, who is Erik’s son aka Ethan and Cole’s half brother!

I made Ji-Hoon’s boyfriend Pietro for playing games and teaching the young boy all those silly tricks. #oneofthecutecouple’s according to Liane!

Anyways I come back to the room thinking I was gonna find the boy playing on his own or using his IPad instead. Nope. 🙂‍↔️

I go searching around, even asking the others if they saw him. It resulted in everyone going on a little Easter Egg Hunt for Nate because someone decided to play hide and seek, and not tell anybody.

Nate roped all the other little players into the game too, I don’t know how he did it! Riley, Dylan, The Twins and other kids were playing too.

Next thing be I know I am playing hide and seek!

And guess where I found Nathan Pietro Barton?

Guess.

He wasn’t in the kitchen.

He wasn’t in the gym area.

He wasn’t in one of the bedrooms.

He wasn’t in one of the offices.

He wasn’t in the pool!

That little boy was on the roof of the building (which is safe by the way, cause that’s where everyone has parties, watch the skyline and go out to breathe) with Kate’s dog.

Pizza Dog and Nate were on the roof wearing sunglasses, drinking juice boxes and looking at the city. I saw Natasha was up there too, taking pictures so he was safe.

When he turned around he saw me. The only thing Nate said was, “Hehe you found me! I win! We go again?”

I just faceplate at that point and shook my head chuckling.

I am getting old…

Chasing Through the Marshes

EXT. FLORIDA MARSHES. AMERICA. USAA. DAY

There are sounds of chirpings from the birds on the Florida marshes. There is a noisy pelican creaking up on top of a tree that grows in the marshes. From here - the marshes cover the whole landscape with tall grass stemming from the water. Life is abundant here - especially birds and the marshes’ water creatures

ADULT CLARKSON and ADULT ATTICUS enter the frame as they sail through the marshes on a speedboat. Now - ADULT CLARKSON and ADULT ATTICUS - both in their thirties - have been friends and fellow soldiers in the Intramil Special Operation for many years. On this current assignment - they are to capture JOSE SANCHEZ and his crew while they are trafficking cocaine from Cuba to Florida through the marshes. ADULT ATTICUS is on the wheel - while ADULT CLARKSON is LOOKING through the binoculars at some distance away. Their speedboat is hidden from view behind the dense area of trees growing in the marshes

ADULT CLARKSON

The Cuban branch of the Sinaloa Cartel is scheduled to smuggle thirty-five pounds of cocaine through the Floridian water today

And our man Sanchez and his crew are the one to deliver the goods to the Gambino Family at the ports of Florida

Which translates into - “Shit! We got Uncle Sam on our tails”

The gangsters SHOOT behind at the operatives. ADULT CLARKSON ducks - and so does everyone else

And just as soon - guns are being fired forward from our speedboat. ADULT ATTICUS crouches and flinches behind the bulletproof windshield. ADULT CLARKSON and his team of operatives continue to exchange fires at the two target smuggler boats in front. The two smuggler boats traverse through the marshes ‘til they reach an area of dense trees growing from the wetland. ADULT ATTICUS tails them. However - as they enter the area with trees growing - they split at the tree in front

We can’t follow both

ADULT CLARKSON 

Follow the one with Sanchez. The other boat will regroup with Sanchez as there is no way out of the marshes except for this path

Bullets are flying his way. As our operatives get closer - they ram the boat in front causing it to rail against a tree to the side. Then suddenly - the other boat comes in and ram our speedboat - with operatives being TOSSED to the side as they HOLD onto the handles. ADULT CLARKSON DUCKS low - HIDING behind the walls of the speedboat. Then he gets up just high enough to see and shoot - hitting one of the bad guys who falls off the boat and into the water. Then however - the smuggler boat again rams into our speedboat - but only able to scrape it. Then as the smuggler boat speeds ahead in front - ADULT KANG SHOOTS killing another gangster. The gangster falls into the marshes. But the two smuggler boats race ahead and out of the area with dense trees growing

He puts the engine in full throttle. Then in one of the smuggler boats - the one in front - a gangster pulls up a grenade launcher - ready to shoot at our operatives

He GETS UP and SHOOTS the gangster down. As the gangster is shot down - his fingers press the grenade launcher - shooting his own boat. The grenade explodes as it hits the floor. And the boat behind crashes into the explosion and loses control. ADULT ATTICUS TRIES to steer away but it is impossible given how little time he has to steer the boat away from the crash

CLINT STONE

JUMP OUT!

CLINT STONE - ADULT KANG and WALTZ FAIRAD jump off into the water of the marshes. As ADULT ATTICUS is about to collide into the crashed boats in front of them - a tree FALLS onto the hood of their speedboat causing it to topple forward and launch ADULT ATTICUS and ADULT CLARKSON out of the boat. In fact - saving them from the crash
