"You are right that having the chance to study two pokemon at once is a rare opportunity. But what had me upset is that surprises like these can be incredibly dangerous. Maybe even lead to someone getting killed. Especially with that surprise being a dragonborn mienshao." The sound of the crunching snow under the three's feet was the only thing heard for a moment as Clementine now looked ahead.

"See, part of what I do requires me to build trust and form a bond with the mon I'm supposed to be studying. Plenty of preparations and precautions are taken before I even leave* home. And I choose my team members specially for what is reported that I'll be dealing with." She continued.

Clementine passes a glance to the the anonymous individual with a relaxed smile. "And yes, I admit, those megastones of hers are a bit concerning. But thankfully our first encounter went well, so I'm hoping I can make a good impression on her and continue my duties without a hitch."

Clementine has been trying to avoid what she felt for Alex the last few months since she figured out her feelings for him but it’s not easy as everything he does makes her fall more for him and some days she just wanted admit everything to him.

Clementine was sitting on the bench in the third period of the game against the Penguins, she was drinking some water watching the game as she watched Alex skate down the ice with the puck against his stick to the goal, when a player came and slammed him into to the boards making him fall straight onto to the ice and his stick falling out of his hands as he curled into a ball laying on the ice.

Clementine froze watching the trainers rush onto the ice towards Alex, Alex who still haven’t moved and was hugging himself tightly.

Jesper gently grabbed Clementine’s making sure she didn’t go running onto the ice towards Alex because she is worried for him. Jesper is one of three people who knew from Clementine about her feelings towards Alex and he knows how worried she is for Alex right not but running onto the ice won’t do any good.

Clementine watched tensely as the trainers helped Alex off to ice using the other door, she gripped onto Jesper’s arm tightly not even noticing grabbing it.

“Finish this game and you can go see him.” Jesper softly whispered to Clementine making sure no one else could hear him, he knows how worried she is but she can’t do anything until the game was finished.

Clementine gave a curt nod and was glad there was barely any time left in the period.

Clementine had two more shifts before the game was finished and she all but ran down the tunnels towards the medical room not even knocking as she quickly opened the door and saw none of the doctors or nurses in the room but only Alex who was in the middle of buttoning his buttoned shirt.

“Clem?” Alex questioned looking startled when the door slammed open, Clementine didn’t respond but shut the door behind her and quickly walked across the room and pulling him into a soft hug.

Alex froze slighty before wrapping his arms around her and rested his chin on the top of her head.

“Don’t ever do that again.” Clementine voice cracked as she mumbled against his chest.

“Do what?” Alex cluelessly questioned pulling back so he could her face.

“Get hurt! I didn’t know if you were okay.” Clementine smacked his arm giving him a stern look with tears linking her eyes.

“Oh Clem.” Alex soflty cooed as he realized she was worried for him, he pulled her back into a soft hug rubbing her back, “I’m okay.” He could feel her relax into the hug. Alex truthfully was okay, he was very sore but luckily no injuries but he had the wind knocked out of him from that hit.

Clementine took a deep breath trying to calm her rapid heart, “I was scared.” Clementine whispered, she knew now that she couldn’t hid how felt for him anymore as she never knew what was gonna happen the next day.

��I’m okay.” Alex smiled softly feeling terrible he made Clementine so worried but a part of him was also happy that she cared so much about him.

“Don’t do that again.” Clementine looked up at him but not moving out of his arms, “I-“ Clementine opened and closed her mouth not knowing how to get the words out.

“Take your time.” Alex spoke softly knowing she had something to say but she looked nervous and anxious.

Clementine pursed her lips and leaned forward until she could feel Alex’s nervous breath he let out, she took a deep breath before leaning forward and connecting her lips to his.


Clementine has always been better with actions than words.

Alex froze in complete shock making Clementine pull away quickly worried she messed everything up but Alex quickly cupped her face and pulled her back to him pressing his lips back to hers.

Clementine leaned up wrapping her hands around his neck, her fingers tangling into his hair.

Alex looked at her fondly as they pulled away, “I’ve been waiting to do that for a very long time.” Alex mused knowing he’s waited for a year now to kiss her.

“Me too.” Clementine softly admitted with a grin on her face.

“I can’t wait any longer and i know you deserve a better way to be asked but will you be my-“ Alex nervously rambled to Clementine.

“Yes.” Clementine grinned not even letting Alex finish asking.

Alex let out a breath the tension seeping from his body and let out a fond chuckle, “You didn’t even let me finish.” He rested his hands on her waist.

Clementine just shrugged and leaned up pressing her lips back to his.

Bad Future AU - Gyms

Just like I said, I'm back talking about more changes that have taken place in this alternate timeline. This time, the gyms of Sinnoh. Some are similar, some are different, but each has a new story. Sorry I don't have character refs this time. But they all do have new looks. I could make some if anyone wants to see any particular character. Anyway, let's get into it!

Oreburgh City - Merlot (or Mars as we knew her) runs the gym as a normal gym. With Roark unable to run it, the gym was offered to the strongest trainer. Merlot entered because she was bored and ended up winning. She has Purugly as her ace.

Eterna City - Gardenia still runs it but she is often very busy raising her young daughter, Clementine. As such Cheryl runs the gym half of the time. Both of them would rather spend time with Clementine, so the gym is empty a lot of the time.

Hearthome City - Fantina remains the leader although she never made it in the contest world. Instead she embraced a more gothic nature, running the gym as a sort of haunted opera. She's awfully dramatic but she takes her role as leader seriously.

Veilstone City - Felicity (or Jupiter in our timeline) has taken over the gym here, running it as a poison gym with Skuntank as her ace. Maylene was never able to become leader, she was too busy being a performer in the game corner trying to make ends meet. As such, Felicity was assigned the role to keep her out of trouble. She has too much fun thinking of new puzzles to mess with challengers.

Pastoria City - Still run by Crasher Wake or Johnny as he calls himself now. His wrestling career never seemed to take off so he took a job as the warden of the Great Marsh. He's passionate about this job, although he seems more humble here than he is in our timeline.

Canalave City - Riley took over for his friend Byron after his unfortunate passing during a cave in on Iron Island. He still runs it as a steel gym to honor his friend but he has many doubts about how well is doing as gym leader. He wished he could have been there for Roark before the boy ran away.

Snowpoint City - Candice reprises her role as gym leader. She is a very serious, no nonsense person due to being trained to be the next guardian of Snowpoint Temple. She rarely ever smiles or even takes breaks from her training.

Sunnyshore City - Due to Cynthia abandoning the league and Lucian being moved up as champion, Volkner took the empty slot in the elite four. As such another aspiring inventor from Sunnyshore, Cyrus, runs the gym. He seems quite happy in this role, showing off his inventions to the town. The gym is now dark type and Cyrus uses his Honchkrow as his ace.

Caught Larvesta and Miltank when he first joined the Dream SMP and later evolved Larvesta into Volcarona during the Disc Saga. iss a moth and cow, enough said uwu

Shaymin(Phukkit)

Caught Shaymin-Land post Lmanberg’s independence when rebuilding > first turned to Shaymin-Sky after the Manberg Festival inside The Pit. you can pry my gardener tommy from my cold dead hands

Glaceon(Bruno)

Was an Eevee gifted to Tommy by Tubbo or Wilbur which later evolved into a Glaceon after fleeing Logstedshire to Techno’s Cabin. super protective of Tommy

Mimikyu(Wiggles)

Caught some time before the Confrontation with Dream; had been following Tommy around since the end of Doomsday. Meant as a representation of his loneliness on the server.

Marshadow (Shroud)

Has always been around Tommy since the first server-wide war hiding in his shadow, studying him and his humanity, but only made itself known to him after his revival

Hello, I’m Clementine! I’m a farmer and minor “gym leader” (I say it in quotes because the local kids treat me as one, I’m not certified at all, lol) and I made this blog because I heard others talking about Rotumblr and I thought it would be a nice community to join.:) I’m from Johto originally, but moved to Paldea for the beautiful climate (and Nurse Joy certification)

My birthday is July 14th, and I’m 22 years old- I’ve been living in Paldea since I was 17 (to attend Nurse Joy college)

I live with my team, two farm dogs, and various Wooloo, torchic, and small Pokémon that like to come visit occasionally. My hobbies include painting, weaving, and chasing those dang Wattrel away from my farm (they try to get at the local Smoliv!!) More blog posts to follow! (Though I cannot work Rotumblr as well as some young people- and I’m also blogging off of a bad internet connection- as I don’t use technology much)

Okay, I know Easter was a month ago but... I already started it and I couldn't NOT finish drawing the girls in the bunny suit now could I?

With the approval of both Linda and Tsubayuki, Clementine grabs two of the pokeballs off her belt, and with a click of the small button to enlarge them, held them out in front of her to release their occupants. 

The flash of light from the pokeballs quickly fade to reveal the roserade and froslass that were inside.

Nintai bows as she proceeds to introduce herself.

Midway through her sentence, Nintai felt a chill run down her back as there was suddenly a tense feeling of animosity in the air.

This same feeling was distracting her as she began to trail off during her introduction.

As Nintai failed to finish her sentence, everyone else also noticed something was off. And Clementine started to worry as this was far from the reaction she was hoping for from Tsubayuki, and noticed Nintai began to sink towards the floor.

The froslass found herself stunned like a deerling in headlights, intimidated by the presence of the lopunny staring down at her.

Time felt like it stopped for Nintai as she stared helplessly back into Tsubayuki’s gaze. The lopunny’s eyes were glowing with hatred and fury that felt like they were piercing her very soul. The aura around her also was radiating with anger that was intense as the air was freezing.

Nintai had no idea what she had done for the lopunny to feel this way towards her, nor was she prepared for it. The froslass was also too afraid to speak or even move out of fear of making things worse. So she simply cowered before Tsubayuki, hoping someone would intervene.

During their conversation, Eleanor casually mentioned her lack of experience in horse riding, surprising Clementine. She persuaded Eleanor to follow her outside and attempt to mount her grandparent's horse. The playful endeavor quickly turned into a comical scene as Clementine had to catch Eleanor to prevent her from falling off the horse. Amidst their laughter, a friendly voice chimed in, jokingly offering his assistance as a horse trainer. It was evident that he and Clementine were already acquainted, and their dynamic seemed to be a mix of love and playful banter in their friendship.

[ Beau is sitting against a wall of rock while the wind howls outside, resembling ghostly wails. However, xe seems mostly past the hurdle of fear and more close to exhaustion at this point. ]

"Heyyyyyyy gang. We thought about doing one more of these things to wrap it all up, Jace's idea actually... it's still stormy out, we'll just have to uh, camp out here overnight. One of my mates told me they figured out where we are from our vids and pictures and stuff and that the team'll get us in the morning. Uhm... Jace? Anything to say to the people?"

[ Xe turns the camera to Jace sitting across from xem, Clementine leaning on him. He's also holding his Shuppet in his arms, petting the Pokemon's fabric. He looks like he's been crying, that could be seen a bit in Beau too. ]

"Fukin... sorry, is the first thing. I wish... that I could just use my words like you do, Beau. But damn, I haven't had an outburst like that in at least a damn year. Probably more. I fukin hate those, feeling like a kid out of control, I don't know what's wrong with me..."

"Heeeeeey hey shut up. You're great."

"And... I'm still kinda pissed about screwing it up with Casey. I- I don't know if... if I'm so disgusted with myself does that mean I hate him too!? I don't wanna! I'm... I know it ticked you off, when I said I wanted to be 'normal'..."

[ Beau sighs quietly behind the camera. She mumbles, ]

"I mean, I make jokes close to that. It just sounded... real genuine and angry. In the moment it was my last little straw. But I can tell now that you were just mad at yourself, yeah?"

[ Jace nods. ]

"Hey Beau, uh, keep up the videos and all. I didn't like... is closeted the right word here? I didn't like being brought out of it like that... but I don't want to go back in. If that makes sense. I dunno. I don't wanna bottle stuff up the way they raised me to and all... I just still don't know why... hmph..."

[Jace curls up a little. Clementine puts a hand on his shoulder and croaks. Jace scratches Clementine's head... then thinks. ]

"Hey Beau... back there at base, you were about to tell me how Casey figured out himself... what was that gonna be?"

"Oh right! Well... It was Windy, his Absol. The little guy was aggressive, and touchy, and a loner. But for all his sensitivities, what Casey wore or what hairstyles he tried out wouldn't affect Windy one bit. He loved his trainer all the same. Casey thinks that makes Pokemon special from humans, that they think without bias, that they mix survival and wildness with love."

[ Jace looks back over to Clementine. He and the Pokemon start to doze off together. ]

"Hey Clem. What's your opinion on your trainer being gay?"

[ Clementine just yawns and croaks. Jace chuckles. ]

"Yea, that's what I thought."

[ Clementine scratches Jace's head. It's probably an attempt to imitate humans, but it almost comes off as something familial to a human. Jace tears up a little. ]

"...You should be proud of yourself. Good night, Jacey..."

[ Jace sleepily biker-salutes to Beau in reply. ]

1. Are you named after anyone?

Not that I know of. My dad chose Alexandra randomly? My mum said I was nearly a Scarlet, and she also liked the name Clementine (imagine💀) I like my name, the gender neutrality suits me a lot more - I'm a cis woman but I'm defo an Alex more than an Alexandra. And typical that my celeb crush of ten years has my name lol

2. When was the last time you cried?

Last friday, I've been having stomach issues recently and feeling super down so it all got a bit much, I feel better now tho!

3. Do you have kids?

Nope, and it's currently not in my life plan at all to have them, for so many reasons!

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

I can do, but only in a jokey way!

5. What sports do you play/have played?

Only sports I did were the compulsory ones in PE at school - netball, circuit training, etc. I did go to the gym for a while but that was just some cross trainer, bike and weight stuff.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Someones face, hair, clothes I guess?

7. What's your eye color?

Bluey grey, sort of green. Everyone says something different lol

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I hope for happy endings bc I'm a sap! I can't stand horror and gore unless it's done well or not too in your face. (I'm aware I just said I enjoyed the x files but shhhh)

I'm an artist if that counts, and I'm also pretty good at accents?

Music, art, I try to write and read but it's slow going.
