Personal Trainer Near to Me St. Petersburg
Tumblr media
In the vibrant city of St. Petersburg, Florida, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is not just a trend but a way of life for many residents. As individuals seek to enhance their fitness levels, the role of a personal trainer becomes increasingly valuable. Whether you're aiming to lose weight, build muscle, improve athletic performance, or simply adopt a healthier lifestyle, a personal trainer can provide the guidance, motivation, and expertise needed to achieve your fitness goals effectively. This article explores why having a personal trainer in St. Petersburg is beneficial and how they can positively impact your fitness journey. Benefits of Having a Personal Trainer in St. Petersburg
Customized Fitness Plans One of the primary advantages of hiring a personal trainer in St. Petersburg is the opportunity to receive a customized fitness plan tailored to your specific goals, fitness level, and lifestyle. Unlike generic workout routines found online or in magazines, a personal trainer will assess your current fitness status, discuss your objectives, and design a personalized exercise program. This tailored approach ensures that every workout session is productive and aligned with your individual needs, maximizing results while minimizing the risk of injury.
Expert Guidance and Instruction Personal trainers are certified professionals with extensive knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition. They possess the expertise to teach you proper exercise techniques and form, ensuring that you perform each exercise correctly and safely. This guidance not only enhances the effectiveness of your workouts but also reduces the likelihood of injuries that can occur from improper form or overexertion.
Accountability and Motivation Consistency is key to achieving fitness goals, and personal trainers excel at providing the accountability and motivation needed to stay on track. Knowing that you have a scheduled session with a trainer encourages you to show up and give your best effort. Additionally, trainers offer continuous support, encouragement, and feedback, helping you overcome obstacles, stay focused, and maintain motivation even when faced with challenges.
Goal Setting and Progress Tracking Setting realistic and achievable fitness goals is essential for long-term success. A personal trainer in St. Petersburg will collaborate with you to establish clear objectives based on your aspirations, whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, improved flexibility, or enhanced endurance. They track your progress over time, adjusting your program as needed to ensure you stay on course and continue making strides toward your goals.
Variety and Creativity in Workouts Repetitive workouts can lead to boredom and plateauing results. Personal trainers introduce variety and creativity into your exercise routine by incorporating diverse training methods, equipment, and exercises tailored to challenge and engage you. From circuit training and HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) to functional training and flexibility exercises, they keep your workouts fresh, stimulating muscle growth, and preventing workout monotony.
Nutritional Guidance Exercise alone isn't always enough to achieve optimal results. Personal trainers often provide nutritional guidance, offering advice on healthy eating habits, portion control, and dietary choices that complement your fitness goals. By educating you about proper nutrition, trainers empower you to make informed decisions that support your overall well-being and enhance the effectiveness of your workouts.
Adaptability to Special Considerations Individuals with specific health concerns, injuries, or medical conditions benefit greatly from working with a personal trainer who can customize workouts to accommodate their needs and limitations. Trainers are trained to work with various populations, adapting exercises and routines to ensure safety while still achieving desired fitness outcomes.
Building Confidence and Empowerment Embarking on a fitness journey can be daunting, especially if you're unfamiliar with exercise techniques or unsure of where to begin. Personal trainers not only teach you the skills and knowledge needed to exercise effectively but also foster a sense of confidence and empowerment as you progress toward your goals. Through their support and encouragement, trainers empower you to push beyond your comfort zone, embrace challenges, and achieve milestones you once thought impossible. Conclusion In conclusion, having a personal trainer in St. Petersburg offers numerous benefits that can significantly enhance your fitness experience and outcomes. From personalized workout plans and expert guidance to accountability, motivation, and nutritional advice, trainers play a pivotal role in helping you achieve and maintain your fitness goals. Whether you're seeking weight loss, muscle gain, improved athletic performance, or overall health and wellness, investing in a personal trainer provides invaluable support and guidance on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. With their expertise and dedication, personal trainers in St. Petersburg empower you to unleash your full potential and live a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I feel like we’ve entered a parallel world. My mother seems the same, but I’m not the same Alex. It’s like 50 years have gone by, and I’m arriving back in St. Petersburg for the first time. Everything feels fresh. Habit patterns have yet to form. No desire to eat or sleep right now. Just crazy clarity in our heads. I meet with Big Alexander the next day, and I tell him about what happened. Excitement and fear in equal measure. He says:
– Alex, you are evolving.
– What do you mean by evolving?
– You are changing. Soon, you will begin to understand the language of the brothers.
– What brothers?
– Soon, it will become clear.
– Okay. I understand that St. Petersburg is like a grand mechanism, like a clock. And that there are many places like this.
– Good work. Keep searching for other places.
– I will. I want to understand everything. Its essence is the source of its power.
– Okay, well, start looking for these other places.
We start with the largest church, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, but nothing happens to us there. And then we drew the line further and stumbled across New Holland, an island in the North of St.Petersburg, shaped like the all-seeing eye. We were gobsmacked. None of us had ever heard of the place before today. And then, we draw a straight line from the Church of Peter and Paul and realize that it crosses the coordinates of many other churches, and these churches are almost an equal distance apart, just like on a clock face. And if a line is drawn from New Holland, at twelve o’clock down to six o’clock, we encounter many more significant landmarks, including the zero kilometer point. And the same was true when we drew a line between three and nine, as if on a clock face. In some places, the energy was strong. In others, it was hardly perceptible, but it was always there. Evidence of the grand mechanism in motion. All the elements are perfectly aligned. For some reason, I decided to search this way, and this is what we found. That’s how the algorithm works.

Embracing Health Innovations The 'THCa St Pete' Movement and Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano's Expertise
In the dynamic world of health and wellness, two seemingly contrasting movements have emerged, captivating their respective communities the THCa St Pete surge and the renowned Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano. As the tapestry of modern health solutions becomes more intricate, it's crucial to understand how these threads intertwine, reflecting society's holistic approach to well-being.
Discovering the Appeal of THCa St Pete
For those unfamiliar, St. Petersburg, often referred to as St. Pete, has become a focal point for alternative health enthusiasts, particularly those interested in the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids. One compound stands out THCa, or Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. Unlike its counterpart THC, THCa is non-psychoactive but holds promise for numerous potential benefits. The increasing searches for THCa St Pete mirror the city's burgeoning desire to align with natural and holistic wellness trends.
Smile with Confidence Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano's Contribution
Several miles away, in Plano, Texas, the health narrative takes a different, yet equally significant turn. At the Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano, patients find solace in state-of-the-art dental care that goes beyond the surface. The center doesn't merely focus on dental aesthetics; it delves deep into the realm of dental health, providing innovative solutions like implants that have transformed lives. Patients leave the center not only with improved dental health but with a renewed sense of confidence.
Interweaving Health Pathways
What do the herbal undertones of THCa St Pete and the clinical expertise of Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano have in common? At the core, both underscore a global shift towards informed health choices.
While residents of St. Pete explore alternative therapeutic compounds for potential relief and well-being, the community in Plano understands the intrinsic link between oral health and overall vitality. The connection here is clear individual empowerment and the aspiration to make informed, personalized health decisions.
Localized Excellence Crafting Personalized Health Experiences
The digital age, with its information deluge, paradoxically underscores the importance of localized, personal health solutions. Whether it's the individual searching for THCa St Pete or a patient walking into Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano, the essence remains consistent seeking quality, trust, and personalization in health experiences.
Conclusion
As health narratives diversify, the tales of THCa St Pete and Jung Dental Implant Center of Plano highlight the mosaic of modern health pursuits. Whether through alternative therapies or specialized medical care, the goal is unified to live healthier, fuller lives. This convergence of diverse health paths not only signifies the richness of options available today but also promises a brighter, more holistic future for wellness.

..."In mid-May, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a flurry of bills targeting LGBTQ+ people in all aspects of public life, including banning gender-affirming care for trans youth and adult Medicaid recipients, restricting drag performances, criminalizing trans people for using bathrooms that align with their gender, and barring educators from teaching students about gender and sexuality.
About two weeks after signing these laws — the culmination of the governor’s three-year legislative and administrative attack on transgender people, immigrants and people of color — DeSantis announced his Republican presidential campaign and his desire to model the rest of the country after Florida.
Some trans people who have the means have left the state because of the new laws. But many who have stayed say they’re living through a catalyzing moment for organized resistance, and they’re fighting back through everyday acts of defiance. HuffPost spoke with six trans organizers across the state who have been fighting back against DeSantis in myriad ways, from community education to art to personal resistance ― even while some organizers have had their own access to gender-affirming care threatened.
“I’ve never believed more in the grit of trans people than I do right now,” said Billy Branca, a 29-year-old LGBTQ+ advocate in St. Petersburg. “I think that in trying to erase us, Ron DeSantis accidentally created the most powerful resistance that he could ever imagine because we’re angry and we’re connecting and we’re caring for each other.”
For the last few months, Branca and a group of trans organizers have researched and compiled a list of clinics that are still offering services to trans youth.
Branca said the group wanted to create an inclusive and up-to-date “how-to” for trans youth and adults desperate to find appointments before it is too late. The guide also includes mental health resources, scholarships to cover health care and practical information like which pharmacies are trans-friendly and what are the estimated costs for hormones. More than 130 people have reached out to access the guide since they began distributing it last month. (Branca asked that HuffPost not link to the guide, as another popular online trans resource became the target of a harassment campaign last year after being covered by the media.)
“We’re democratizing access,” Branca said. “Moving hurdles out of the way and creating a situation where you just have to call and make the appointment instead of collecting a ton of information on your own … is also a form of resistance because we are working as a community to clear obstacles to keep our loved ones alive.”
In Miami, Corinne Mariposa draws from her own experiences as a 40-year-old trans woman to educate her cisgender neighbors. For the last two weeks, she has set up a booth at a farmers market with a sign that reads, “Ask a trans woman,” inviting people to ask her about what it’s like for trans adults who are losing access to gender-affirming care.
“There’s so much misinformation going around, and if we don’t control the narrative, it’s definitely going to get controlled for us by some insane people,” she said."

Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Review
Despite the tight confines of the Florida city streets, this track never fails to give us a race full of action, and this year was no different. Whilst the race was calm mostly up front, the mid pack as always, was on fire most of the race!
After the disappointment of last weekend, Herta bounced back like a champion, he was fast all weekend and kept his composure throughout the race, even when he had Newgarden really pressuring him late on in the race. The biggest improvement though, was his ability to save the tyres and fuel, which was a real issue for him in previous years, but he had no problems today, as he fires himself back into title contention. More importantly maybe though, is that he is establishing himself as the team leader in Andretti Autosport. Rossi has been disappointing in both of the two races to start the year to be honest, especially in Florida, where his move on Rahal did look like desperation more than anything else. He will come back from it I am sure; however, it is going to be tough for him to challenge the new kid on the block.
What a difference a week makes also for Newgarden, who made a huge mistake in Barber, yet like Herta was able to come here and be strong all weekend. He didn’t have as fast a car as Herta, it was only the red tyres that gave him a chance in the closing laps on restarts, but he was second or third best today, and now has momentum behind him crucially! He could have made a move for the win, but as he said, it would have been risky, and making two mistakes in the first two races, would have been a disaster, so sticking with second was a good choice!
Pagenaud also drove well, at a time when he needs it most, as he is almost the weak link in the Penske team over the past year or so, with Newgarden going for titles, and Power having pace at most places. Whether it will be enough, who knows, there is definitely a lot of talent out there for Roger to look at. If Simon can keep this up though, and be in the fight with his teammates, that is the best way to keep his place in the team! His pace wasn’t quite with Josef, but was one of the best out there!
The Meyer Shank operation is a story of doing a lot with a little, especially when they weren’t as closely aligned with Andretti Autosport, and with Harvey they have a talented pedaller, who can make the most of what he has. Last year didn’t go well for them, mainly due to the bigger team also struggling, so with promise early on in 2021, podiums and even wins are on the cards. P4 yesterday was as good as they could do, not able to match those in front, and lucky with incidents for possibly faster cars behind. As is so often the case, it is about building momentum in this sport, and this could be the beginning of the foundations of something big!
We shouldn’t be surprised to see Dixon quietly finishing in P5, we barely saw him in the race, as he used strategy and others misfortune to climb up from lower down in the top ten. This wasn’t quite the strength they had at Barber, yet they have never gone that well here, so P5 may be a good result all things considered. With two good results already, you can see the title challenge building for Scott, and we know how good he was at Texas last year! Ericsson managed another top ten, showing his worth at the team, whilst Palou was on the back foot today, and fell back in the race.
Sato and Power drove brilliantly after bad qualifying’s on Saturday, especially for Power, who used his aggression to leave with a nice haul of points, he still won’t be happy, but he at least has something from this weekend. Bourdais and Veekay had trying days, as a first lap touch with Pagenaud, damaged Bourdais’ front wing, compromising his race, and Veekay couldn’t make the tyres last, especially on the reds. Staying in the top ten was good damage limitation from them both!
McLaughlin and Grosjean being just outside the top ten, is very impressive, given the brutality of this track. At least Grosjean gets a week’s break, whilst McLaughlin will try his hand in his first oval race! Jimmie Johnson is trying his best to bring competition cautions over from NASCAR to IndyCar! But on a serious note, there is clear improvements from him, as he keeps adjusting to open wheel racing!
Rahal’s race was ruined by the incident with Rossi, he had one of the fastest cars out there, as Sato showed, Graham just can’t find any luck! The McLaren team could not replicate the pace they had here last year, or one week ago, as both were outside the top ten, not happy with their pace!
The season keeps on coming, as we have a doubleheader on the Texas oval, where hopefully the PJ1 traction compound is gone, so we can see some racing this time! If not, it could be two very long nights, however I am sure we will get our fair share of drama!

i'll be your biggest fan ( trinity & sasha ) - lily2
[ prompt ] : sasha never thought she would ever get married let alone to her best friend but in the midst of the big day she needs help putting on her dress for the event and she knows exactly who to employ to get the damn thing done.
[ author's note ] : I really love their friendship a lot (and also shea/trinity is a huge brotp of mine) and it's very sweet and so like opposite and I find it so charming, wanted an excuse to write wedding sashea as well !!! I genuinely love trinity and enjoy writing her so so so badly, I'm a proud eastern european girl but I will always appreciate my homestate queen! (人*´∀`)。*゚+
— *.✧
"What if she doesn't like the dress?"
It was difficult for Sasha to even process the insanity that was about to be her own wedding day, her perfectly manicured hands running through her thick blonde curls. The Russian could barely even get a sentence out without wanting to collapse in fear— perhaps not fear but stress though it all seemed to mesh into one demon that kept clawing at her back, that she wasn't good enough for Shea, for this wedding, that she was still scared of the commitment that was about to come.
The issue was not if she was to be devoted to Shea Couleé, the one woman she knew almost instantaneously as her soulmate, her partner, her best friend all these years later.
It was clear the minute they exchanged looks and Shea leaned against the bar, a track from Donna Summer blasting from the stage, Sasha leaning deeper and deeper entranced by her beauty, intelligence, everything. Well rounded and active in her community back in her hometown of Chicago, something the blonde could definitely appreciate considering her own background in both St. Petersburg and Chicago.
"I really should've consulted her, I'm all about fashion but this isn't exactly what you would call my alley way!"
An irrepressible thumping of her heart as Trinity brushed the corners of her hair, putting a box down in Sasha's lap before groaning aloud, the southern girl never shy to share aloud her opinions and thoughts even when not provoked to.
"Sasha Velour, I know damn well you are not trying to talk your mind into stress on your wedding day!" A hair brush in her left hand as she tossed her perfectly sprayed and shortned hair, "Three things in life are absolutely positive: I'm gorgeous, taxes and Shea Couleé being in love with you." The words spitting out her lips before she finished up styling her best friend's hair.
The bride-to-be couldn't help but giggle at the sentiment, it was true, all three facets.
Trinity Taylor was truly a gem on earth, you'd never meet someone with the ability to talk your ear off while almost simultaneously digging a grave for you in Dante's layers of hell. A true southern girl, a beauty queen since high school, everything seemed so perfectly aligned and expected of the Orlando native.
Who needs a degree in economics! Especially when you can just be as gorgeous as I am?
However, expectations aren't always necessarily the reality. Trinity met Sasha, at a bar nonetheless due to a mutual friend and unprovoked, inspired by Sasha's work and ethic as a writer and designer, decided to finally go to college after dropping out her first year after high school. Majoring in business, still a pageant queen at her core and getting a minor in fashion retail as well.
"I'm still surprised you picked me for your maid of honor, if I can be completely honest with you." A smile gently forming across the corners of her lips as she spoke to the girl who was still in her robe, Trinity beginning to put some finishing touches. Sasha's brow immediately cocked and she practically grasped her entire desk.
"What do you mean? We've been close for years! We studied together, I helped you with exams, you introduced me to Shea! Don't be so hard on yourself." The twinge of her still softly reminding Russian accent came out hardest when she was angry or spewing up words, no time to breathe in between sentences.
"Hey! Don't get sappy on me bitch, I have so much makeup on I think our local Sephora might have run out of business." Her hands gently beginning to weave flowers through her hair, taking in a deep breath, learning to be silent and dabbing her puffy eyes when the Russian wasn't looking and closed her eyes, it was awfully emotional.
"You still have to put me in my dress, we have about an hour!" She warned gently, rubbing Sasha's shoulders as the thought begun to truly sink into her memory.
She was going to put Sasha into her dress.
Tears seemed to collect in the corner of her eyes but she brushed them aside, staying strong for the Russian who deserved today: to have met someone as fashionable and sweet as herself though Shea was definitely the best care she had with her isolation of family, it was very heartwarming and bittersweet to the girl who came to the states with nothing but her phone, some sketchbooks and a camera.
Sasha would not budge on her artistic roots and demanded that flowers be in her hair someway, somehow, scattered. At first the brunette could barely stand it, almost bitterly spitting that Farrah could do it instead, hating the idea.
Her intuition however was once again, as if it was a surprise, correct. The illusion was everything, as if she was some sort of gorgeous mythological creature, it was very on brand for her and her own creative processes.
"Told you it would look good."
"Well, sometimes I'm wrong, we ain't perfect but I'm pretty damn close honey."
Flowers intricately being placed in her hair as they spoke with tender laughter, "You know, this entire look, I commissioned the dress and made all the other pieces so I look like Lada, she's a Slavic goddess." Trinity wasn't surprised that she was including her culture in little ways, speckled into her wedding especially being away from Russia.
"Oh really?"
A hint of disbelief in her tone but Trinity knew her best friend well enough to realize her passion for her culture, she kept all her Russian zazz and was delighted to meet Katya, someone to finally share an outlet with, comfortably speak Russian with without feeling targeted or stared at with distrust.
"Yes, a bit of a tribute. Also, my favorite outfit Shea ever wore was this lavender, tulle dress during our fifth year anniversary, it had white flowers in the fabric and I wanted a piece of her in my dress." Her cheeks gently flushing, talking about her (almost official) wife with nothing but devotion and pride.
"That's so fucking cute I wanna throw up."
They laughed and held eachother's hands, embracing in the moment before the robe came off, Sasha sucking in a breath as Trinity unzipped the dress from it's black bag that had been delivered via Bianca and gently held it her hands, being sure to look where she stepped as the dress seeped out of her hands with petals and flowers embleshed adorning every corner of the dress.
It was a nice surprise and breach from Sasha's usual eclectic style that almost always had a paint stain or three, she had her brand down and Trinity could appreciate how confident and how out of the box, creative she was however it definitely made her inner, nostalgic heart smile at the sight of a dress so long it hits the floor on both sides.
"This is really beautiful Sash."
Trinity could only unzip the back of the dress, so beautifully crafted and designed as Sasha was left standing to turn and gently put her legs through the hole of the dress, getting stuck for just a second, careful with her hair knowing Trinity was definitely her smarter half in this situation considering the blonde was simply about to pull it over her head, ruining her styled hair.
"Oh God..." A grumble from Trinity's lips as she zipped her up, it felt almost wrong. This was usually a mother's duty, a family item, the entire process of dressing and making over the bride, no matter how traditional it sounded to anyone else, they know deep in their hearts they were sisters but not having your blood family must sting, especially at a wedding.
It felt strangely therapeutic to tie and zip her into her own wedding dress, she wasn't complaining in the slightest even if the heat from the mirror made her perfectly applied foundation melt and stick just a bit more, she was completely focused on one thing: making sure her best friend was ready and didn't have to do it alone.
Galvanized, Sasha seemed to hold her breath not fully understanding yet that she and Shea would soon be married and finally tie the knot, years of friendship and dating and it had finally happened with absolutely no hesitation from Sasha who screamed "yes!" in just about every language she could speak or name. Trinity touched her back, making sure she was fully snug into her dress before touching her shoulders in comfort, stifling back a laugh.
"Fucking Christ I feel so hideious!" She cried out, hiding her tears with a smirk that spanned across her entire face, unable to erase it as Sasha opened her eyes and seemed to stop breathing for a few seconds, truly taking in the details of the dress and adjusting her bra just a bit before choking up, Trinity quickly intervened, "You better not cry off your mug! I worked hard." The two staring side by side at Sasha together, "My favorite married couple." She sighed as she held hands with the Russian girl who happily was adjusting to the new word: married.
"You can cry once you get down the alter girl, we better get into our shoes because I can already feel us behind schedule, Katya's angry fingers typing away at us to hurry up."
The blonde nodded but not before squeezing Trinity's hand, a silent "thank you" mouthed as she begun to look around for her pair of shoes, her head wondering off to many different places at the same exact time.
"Anytime, any day you need me, I'm here." Her word's crisp as she strapped on her heels, matching her floral wedding extravaganza with a lavendar tulle dress, breaking down her wall a bit and even having shoes with some flowers done in colorful embroidery, Sasha claimed it was a very popular thing in Eastern Europe, that it adorned all their clothing.
"I know, always, when you finally have the confidence to ask out a certain someone especially." The wiggle of her eyes reminding Trinity brutually of her own, suprisingly awkward struggles with love, "Oh you shady!" She gasped, covering her mouth gently and almost hitting her with her bouquet of flowers.
"I'm just saying I see you getting side glances all the time from her."
"Let's not talk about this on your own damn day! Another time."
So they interlocked arms and did one final mirror take, finding it hard they went from senior year of high school, a nervous and introverted Russian girl with a thick accent and passion for fashion shows and politics best friends with the beauty queen, the secretly witty and hilariously instinctive southern belle.
"Let's go bitch, I know well time is a racing!" She yelped as they skipped out the door in excitement though Trinity was attempting to be careful with all the dress material that was sliding across the floors they walked upon, making sure she grabbed Sasha's own flower bouquet filled with Camomile (only fitting to be the national flower of Russia) and odd numbered as she requested.
Hand in hand they walked, unafraid of what was in store and for the future, just as the stories went.
"Well, let's do this."

• Profession // Vocalist, singer-songwriter, actress
• Band/Group // CHARMERS (매혹하는)
• Position // Leader, Main Vocalist
• Agency // HeartEater Events & Artist Management
• Training Period // 4 years, 7 months
{ Personality }
{+} Uplifting | Understanding | Goofy
• Leola is a gentle and kind young lady, complete with a heart on her sleeve and an energy that radiates love and positivity. She and Inhye are CHARMERS' happy pills and never seem to fail at making the other members smile and laugh at their cute quirks and antics. Always willing to give to others, Leola is a very charitable character and has been since youth.
• She knows she is lucky to be born into a loving family and knows that some other people aren't in the best situations so she tries her best to listen to them and give them moral advice and support. She's also willing to listen to, presumably, the 'meaner' types of people as she wishes to learn about them, why they act the way they do and understand them like the back of her hand (or at least feel that way). She strongly believes that no matter the individual or what their past was like, empathy, love and forgiveness will always be first in her books and she has proven time and time again that the best cure in the world is happiness.
• But when times are exceptionally tough, she'll be first to crack a joke to lighten the mood. Leola is her group's leader of the crackheads and, as mentioned, happy pill, but she also poses quite the annoyance to some members of the group, as she often appears a little too immature than needed for being the group leader. She'll just make jokes and be goofy even if she didn't mean for it to happen. Though this, she somehow manages to keep things neat and running smoothly whilst being silly at the same time, so it's a win-win for the more orderly members and the more care-free members of the group.
{<} Bold | Adventurous | Protective
• Leola loves to keep herself physically clean, but she is never afraid to get down and dirty when she has to. She's daring and can stand up to any challenge without hesitation. Being a victim of bullying and countless toxic relationships, Leola has realized that she has to stand up for herself when someone snitches on her, but her forgiving and understanding nature still meant she treated her bullies and fake friends somewhat nicely towards the end. But if any of her members ever get into a fight she'll be first to dart to her aid and save the day with the power of friendship!
• When it came to nature and wildlife, Leola dives head first into the dirt. She is constantly playing in mud puddles and piles of leaves like a 5 year old when she has a chance but on the other hand is very vocal about cleaning up afterwards [however her members get where the contradiction comes from]. She is brave and adventurous, always the first to climb trees and adventuring when she can. When she travels to a different part of her town she acts like she's never even been in that place before even if she's been there a million times before. She's a major travel bug and whenever she gets a chance to see the world in person, she'll take it in a heartbeat.
• Leola makes it clear that she is very protective of those she cares for and is very well known to go above and beyond for them and even break the laws for them if she felt like she needed to. This makes her rebellious and reckless, but in her mind she's just doing it so her loved ones can reap the benefits. Though this, she still respects boundaries and places she should never lead herself into when it came to rules and always promises to never cross that line, but being a sagittarius, don't expect her to give up on dreaming.
{–} Stubborn | Self-conscious | Lazy
• When her mind is set, it is set in stone. It's very hard to get Leola to change her mind when she is set on something. Many, including her parents, have tried to break her spirit but the wild centauress within her will keep shouting in her ear, 'keep pushing and don't stop until we make the trip!' This stubborn trait often gets her into more trouble than what it is worth, and it shows no matter how much or hard she tries to hide it.
• The young lady is extremely forgiving and sometimes a little too much so. It's easy to walk all over Leola as she is far too trusting of others and always willing to forgive. Mainly because her biggest flaw is her self image problem. She is much 'chunkier' than the other members and because her shorter height, it’s much more noticeable. She can't help that she is that way, but being teased relentlessly in her childhood has made her very self-conscious about how she looks. Sometimes she would even degrade herself to a point where it no longer becomes the humorous self-deprecating remark and becomes an actual issue that everyone has to deal with. Leola certainly has a hard time loving herself but has more than enough heart and love for everyone else.
• Although Leola is devoted to her group, she can be extremely lazy and sometimes she won’t spend her time wisely. Rather than producing songs in the studio or practicing her dance moves and vocal chords like she supposed to, she can be napping in her room and sticking her nose in things that isn't even worth paying attention to. She always says that she needs a quick power nap but ends up taking 20 minutes just to wake herself up after. She claims to just love the feeling of sleeping and lucid dreaming as that is when her body really relaxes but an idol's responsibility comes first before naps. [And somehow Leola has yet to understand that]
{ Trivia }
• She was the first ever trainee to be scouted and join HeartEater, though one can't say she was scouted since the CEO knew her father personally and it just so happened that HeartEater was going to open another facet of themselves that related to singing and performing so the stars sort of aligned from there.
• She knows how to speak English and Korean fluently, and knows basic Spanish, French and German.
• With her shenanigans and quirks, the CEO even questioned if the title of 'Leader' is appropriate for her but when she does focus and get work done, she proves him time and time again that she's talented and a great all-round representative of CHARMERS.
• She has 2 siblings, an older brother named Seung-jun (b.1996) and a younger sister named Ah-rin (b.2003)
• She cares for 3 'pet' plants, a couple month old Parodia magnifica (one that she's 'adopted'), a 10 year old Mammillaria bocasana/Powder puff cactus and an 11 year old Banyan sumo bonzai tree.
• She gets protective and a bit too in love with her plant bbs, hence the nickname 'Plant Mom'
• She is also well-versed in plant terminology and the caring of her plants. She gets pretty nerdy and sometimes when she has a chance she'll just be talking to her plants instead of the other members.
• She is also put on a diet and workout routine from her company to 'thin her out' but she is also prone to throwing up if she's worked too hard or if her stomach isn't used to the food she's given, yet.
• She can sleep through anything and everything. Her members joked that she can sleep through an arson, an earthquake or even a terrorist bomb attack and she'd still be sleeping.
• Favorite food: Potatoes
• Favorite drink: Passionfruit tea
• Her current concern: how to make food for the girls without blowing up the dorm.
• Her future goals: to be successful enough for Bindi and Robert Irwin to notice her.

5 Steps To Gain Executive Buy-In For Your Content Marketing Strategy
Tumblr media
Having management support is crucial for your content marketing strategy. Without it, you’ll find yourself running into barriers that will certainly impede the success of your marketing efforts. These hurdles may make it challenging for you to:
Secure a budget and resources
Get cooperation from internal partners to provide information
Gain enough runway to experiment, learn from mistakes and make improvements
Ensure company influencers will share and promote content
To avoid these corporate roadblocks and secure executive buy-in, you should present your content marketing initiative in a strategic way. For this, you will need to embrace your inner salesman. Here are five steps to ensure buy-in from your management team.
1. Explain the Need for Content Marketing
When writing content, you should always keep your target audience in mind. Presenting your content marketing plan to your management team should be no different.
First, you will need to explain what content marketing is and how it will bring the company value. Express the importance of a content marketing initiative for your business. Explain to your management team how more and more companies are recognizing the massive impact of content marketing, and those choosing to ignore it are falling increasingly behind. The majority (88%) of B2B marketers are using content marketing in their marketing strategies.
Through examples, show how content marketing aligns with your company’s goals. Determine what business challenges matter most to your executives, then tailor your message to describe how your strategy will help ease those concerns.
For instance, a director of marketing may worry what type of ROI a campaign will generate, while the director of sales may be concerned with meeting sales quotas. In knowing this information, you can point out to both that content marketing costs 62% less than traditional marketing and generates about three times as many leads. Making a business case for content marketing will be a key factor to winning executive buy-in.
2. Present Facts and Figures to Support Your Initiative
In business, numbers speak louder than words, so facts and figures will be essential during your pitch. When listing benefits of content marketing, present supporting data. These statistics will give your presentation more credibility. Here are a few stats to help you win over your executives:
Content Marketing Statistics
A strategic content marketing plan is essential for staying competitive in today’s market
27 million pieces of content are shared digitally every day
76% of B2B marketers are creating more content that they did one year ago
51% of B2B marketers say they will increase the content marketing budget next year
Content marketing builds relationships with customers and keeps them engaged until they are ready to buy
82% of consumers feel more positive about a company after reading custom content
50% of consumer time online is spent engaging with custom content.
Interesting content is one of the main reasons people follow brands on social media
Content marketing impacts organizational goals
Website conversation rates are nearly six times higher for content marketing adopters than non-adopters
Content creation ranks as the single most effective SEO technique
More than 50% of marketers that produce content indicate that it has increased their brand visibility, thought leadership, SEO, web traffic, and buyer engagement
When presenting statistics to executives, do your research. Provide the most recent data and make sure it’s relevant to your message.
3. Show Examples of Content Marketing Success
There are many examples of content marketing brilliance to share with your management team. Here are a few examples:
HubSpot
HubSpot takes pride in being a leader in “inbound marketing,” a term it coined itself. Inbound marketing is a technique for bringing potential customers to your products and services through content marketing.
HubSpot produces content for not one, but seven blogs on its website. Each blog posts about five articles per day, totaling about 35 articles within 24-hours. Those articles are shared through social media outlets to be viewed by a massive audience. This consistent stream of content has gained HubSpot 1.3 million Facebook followers and 737,000 Twitter followers – an most importantly, more than 20,000 customers.
4. Explain How You Plan to Execute Your Strategy
You’ve laid out the facts and given examples, now it’s time to tell your potential success story. Lay out your content marketing strategy to the executives in and clear and easy-to-understand format. Walk them through a typical customer experience and show how your idea will close the gap between your company and the customer.
Get the management team excited about the idea of generating more qualified leads and creating long-term relationships with existing clients. Once the management team is engaged, your executives will be more likely to buy in to your idea. Then you can start the new and challenging process of lifting your content marketing strategy off the ground.
5. Introduce a Pilot
Think of a content marketing pilot as a small sample of what’s to come. Your management team will be able to get a preview of the potential of your plan without feeling pressure to make a big commitment. You may find that they relax at the idea of testing your strategy.
As you sell your plan, make sure to include:
The length of the pilot (at least 6 months)
The overall goals of the pilot
Costs to implement the pilot
Agreed upon metrics
Examples of those agreed upon metrics could be an increase in leads, more subscriptions or a shorter amount of time to close business. If those metrics are hit, your executives should agree to move forward with implementing a full-scale content marketing initiative.
In conclusion, there are many approaches to take when presenting a content marketing plan to your executives. The main keys are to do your research, know your audience and believe in what you are proposing. With a solid strategy, a bit of persuasiveness and the steps mentioned above, you’ll be able to gain your management team’s trust – and secure a win for the whole company. If you’re not familiar with how to increase your company branding, or simply don’t have the time, you can hire an SEO specialist right here at SEO Company in St Petersburg, FL.

Narva: The original design for Artjom
“It’s not like I named a boat after myself, and it sank to the bottom of the sea.” -Artjom to Eduard
Tumblr media
Who?
You might know Artjom from my book “The Envelope”. This was his first initial design and use. His design dates from 2018 as an original fan character for the series Hetalia Axis Powers. That explains why I favour Artjom over my other characters, and why I make so much art of him.
Before people slam me for any of the general information below, read and research both Hetalia and the general area in where Narva is situated.
Basic information:
Full name: Artjom Pajitnov-von Bock
Pronouns: He/Him
Gender: Male
Age: 15 (Physically), 600+ (Literally)
Favourite food: Solyanka, Kama, especially with kefir (ew)
Least favourite food: Sült
Height: 180 cm (Estonian average is 175 cm, Russian average is 177 cm)
Shoe size: UK 9, US 10, EU 44
Political Alignment: Tankie
DND alignment: Chaotic Evil
Languages spoken: Estonian, Russian, English, German, Swedish
Appearance:
Hair: Dark brown (basis is the general darkening of hair when it comes to 2p countries)
Eyes: Depending on the light, ranges from blue to blue-green
Military uniform: Same as Estonia’s. He bears the Estonian flag on the right arm.
Everyday clothes: Usually a collared white dress shirt or a graphic tee under a sweater. He usually wears second hand clothes from Eduard, as they pretty much fit in the same clothes.
Location?
Narva, a city located at the very northeast border of Russia and Estonia. It is situated in the Ida-Viru county, on the edge of the Narva River, in which Lake Peipus drains into. It is widely known for its high concentration of ethnic Russians. It is considered one of NATO’s weakest points.
Population
At around 54.5 thousand citizens, Narva is the 3rd biggest city in Estonia after Tallinn and Tartu.
History
Narva has been around as a city since 1345, when it gained Lübeck City Rights. It was since then a trading post.
Despite its favour when it came to trade, Narva never joined the Hanseatic League. It remained as a small town of about 600-700 people in 1530
At some point in the 1550s-1560s, Narva became an important Russian trading port. Russian rule ended in 1581, as the Swedes came in and conquered the city. It was then incorporated into the Swedish Empire.
Narva’s Old Town was built during the Swedish reign. In 1659, a huge fire broke out and burnt down much of the town. That led to only stone buildings being allowed to be built.
In 1704, Narva was conquered once again by Russia. Jump to the 1800s, Narva, still under Russian rule, started to become a major industrial town. Narva has become the biggest industrial town in Estonia, with 41% of workers working in Narva, compared with the 33% in Tallinn.
A railroad from Tallinn to St. Petersburg via Narva was built in 1870. This marked the start of train travel to and from Tallinn and St. Petersburg.
Welcome to 1917. A referendum has just been held, and it has become clear that Narva, with it’s almost 50/50 population of Ethnic Estonians and Ethnic Russians, is to join the soon independent Republic of Estonia. On February 24, 1918, Estonia becomes independent from the Russian Empire.
Only a few months later, Narva is taken once again by the Red Army due to the Estonian War of Independence. The Red Army stayed in Narva until January 19, 1919, when the area was once again taken by the Estonian forces.
It’s WWII, and Narva is under heavy attack by both German and Russian forces. During the German invasion and multiple air raids, parts of the city are destroyed. In 1944, the Soviet Airforce obliterated most of the Old Town into rubble. Only 3 buildings are still here today, including the Town Hall.
A lot of houses were salvageable, but in the 50s, lots of the remains were just demolished to make new apartment buildings.
Narva was almost made a closed town, as it was planned that the Soviets would build a uranium processing plant near the town. It was later changed to Sillamäe. When the old inhabitants were denied return, hoards of Russians came and populated the city.
When Estonia once again became independent, Narva became a border town again. Lots of people wanted autonomy from Estonia, but it was overruled when the referendum listed that 87% of people did not want to become independent.
There are a few territorial disputes on Narva. The Republic of Estonia bases its borders on the Treaty of Tartu, while the Russian Federation bases its claims on the 1945 Estonian SSR borders, as they see Estonia as being the successor of the Estonian SSR. Most people in Narva are happy to receive benefits from being Estonian and EU citizens.
Why Narva?
At some point, Narva almost became a state of its own. To have someone represent that state just makes sense.
Why 2p!Estonia?
This is to mostly overrule any claims that 2p! Estonia is just a psycho version of 1p! Estonia. Give him personality.
Artjom? Isn’t that Russian?
He represents Narva. Narva has an 87% Ethnic Russian population. It makes sense to give him a Russian last name.
Why Pajitnov?
Because Tetris. You want a computer obsessed Estonia? You got it. Like I said, Artjom is basically Russian APH Estonia.
General relations:
Estonia (cousin)
Russia (distant cousin)
Denmark (Old boss)
A hell ton of Russian/Finnish cities (Narva sister cities)

Statement by Spokesperson Nauert on U.S.-Russia Relations
Spokesperson Heather Nauert
June 21, 2017
We regret that Russia has decided to turn away from an opportunity to discuss bilateral obstacles that hinder U.S.-Russia relations.
During the Secretary’s April visit to Moscow, he and Foreign Minister Lavrov agreed to establish a senior-level working group to discuss bilateral issues of concern.  Undersecretary Shannon had planned to travel to St. Petersburg this week to continue discussions which began in May when he met Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov in New York.
The maintenance package of sanctions issued yesterday by the Treasury Department, which only reinforced existing sanctions, was designed to counter attempts to circumvent our sanctions and to maintain alignment of U.S. measures with those of our international partners. We have regularly updated these sanctions twice a year since they were first imposed.
Let’s remember that these sanctions didn’t just come out of nowhere. Our targeted sanctions were imposed in response to Russia’s ongoing violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its neighbor, Ukraine. If the Russians seek an end to these sanctions, they know very well the U.S. position: Our sanctions on Russia related Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine will remain in place until Russia fully honors its obligations under the Minsk Agreements.  Our sanctions related to Crimea will not be lifted until Russia ends its occupation of the peninsula.
We would refer you to the Russian government to explain their decision to cancel this meeting. From our perspective, and as Secretary Tillerson has made clear, there are many issues to be discussed. We remain open to future discussions.

five times kissed (for specificite tho.)
he steals the first one, a flash of skin against skin that is only justa kiss, barely giving her a chance to react before he’s pulled awaywith a pithy rejoinder, and she’s left spinning her wheels. in the roomwhere they’re setting the kick, she looks at him as he works, trying tofigure out exactly what’s going through his mind. it’s no good. he’s asopaque as a door, and ariadne turns her focus back to the job.
it’s a few months before she sees him again, turning up out of nowherein the luxembourg gardens with a job offer, entirely professional and unflappable. ariadne sort of wants to hit him, but she takes the job anyway because she wants to keep doing this even though that kiss sortof haunts her. just as he’s about to leave, asks if he could take her todinner that night, and before she can overthink it, she accepts. he kissesher cheeks, perfectly normal in france, although she’s so red after he hasleft that she just knows everyone is looking.
that night he brings up that first kiss, apologizing in an honest way thatmakes her earlier frustrations dissolve, although she does point out hecould have asked first. he agrees, and some impulse drives her to addthat he could have put a little more effort into it too. at first he seems tobe stunned into silence; maybe the dinner was just an apology, but thenhe moved his wine glass and asked to try again. when a few minutes ofthe most tender, romantic, head-spinning kiss she’d ever had passed, she had to admit that he certainly had put in the best effort possible.
one job turned into two turned into three, and they were unquestionably ateam, both in the field and otherwise. sometimes the job got messy, andthe worst resulted in arthur being beaten all to hell, and they narrowlyescaped st. petersburg with their lives. later, hidden in a safehouse asthey waited for the heat to die down, ariadne did her best to patch him up,her hands shaking with fear at how close she had just come to losing him.he took her hand in his bloodied one, squeezing gently, his eyes clear, present, reminding her that he was there, he was fine. she leaned overand pressed a kiss to his forehead, breathing in, breathing out.
it’s sort of dumb luck that the stars align the way they do sometimes. cobbis in paris with the kids visiting miles, eames miraculously has floated backto europe for awhile, and even yusuf and saito are able to make it. ariadneis pretty sure that saito is the one who arranged for the quiet ceremony insaint-chapelle after the tourists have left, and she’ll make a point to thankhim later. right then all she can focus on is the dark brown eyes, crinkled atthe edges as he smiled down at her while the priest intoned the vows, theway his hands hold hers, the way his kiss feels like a benediction. marriagewasn’t something she had ever seen as an end goal in her life, but then shehad met him. they walked out into the sunlight, husband and wife.

( @porkcutletbowl-on-ice, hi! I am your valentines! Your hint was Viktuuri, so here’s Viktuuri. You also said that Viktor is the most beautiful and I totally agree but somehow forgot to include it in this fic??? Shame on me. Anyways, I’m really truly sorry you needed a pinch hitter in the first place (sorry to both you and the organizer!!!!) but I hope this is good enough! It is 3,450 words which is like a world record for me, and it’s about jetlagged Yuuri moving in to Viktor’s apartment in St. Petersburg. I really wanted to highlight the uncomfortableness of cohabitation (also jetlag ugh so there’s lots of napping for Yuuri). You said ‘yes’ to nsfw, so there is implied sex, but that’s it. Other than that it’s fluff and romantic tension. I will post to ao3 after the reveal as well! Please enjoy! Humbly yours, Elliott Fletcher.)
Title: Hallelujah Whispered Softly
Summary: Yuuri walks around the table to stand in front of Viktor, and he says, “I’m cold,” in the smallest voice Viktor’s ever heard.
“That’s okay,” Viktor tells him, swallows him whole with just his thin arms, and it is warm, getting warmer, steadily.
Fic:
It is cold in St. Petersburg — cold on the walk from the airport, cold in the hallway, and cold with a key between his fingers as he turns it through the lock. The apartment is cold, too, though a furnace hums somewhere within the walls. He steps inside and inhales a waft of lavender which he presumes is from the mop pail stranded in the middle of the hallway.
“I - ” His voice is not as loud as it should be, does not come easy as he wills it out into the air. He has to try again. “I’m h-here.”
From around the kitty corner, he distinguishes Viktor’s voice among the clinking of dishes. Viktor exclaims in Russian — and Yuuri’s grasped enough of the language, now, to understand what he says — “Ah! Yuuri’s home, Mama.” His footfalls thud against the hardwood floor, and he appears, ecstatic in his eyes and his smile, a checkered towel in his hands and suds along his forearms where he has rolled the sleeves of his flannel shirt to the elbow.
“I’m gonna greet him,” he jumps over the mop pail like it is a hurdle and skids to a stop mere feet in front of Yuuri, the stretch of the Welcome mat between them. Their eyes lock, and Viktor rushes his words: “Okay, I love you — Yep, bye!“
Thoughtlessly, Viktor tosses the house phone — an old, cream wireless with a thick antenna protruding from the head — in the direction of the couch, where it lands square on Makkachin’s belly. Viktor pounces on Yuuri, entrapping him in a hug that squishes his arms into his sides and restricts his hastened breath and movement. He smiles wider with every lasting kiss Viktor peppers to his cheeks and forehead, and the single peck to his nose has him giggling. Viktor does not ask how the flight was (he knows Yuuri will always find it dreadful), so he says, simply:
"You’re home,” Viktor holds his face in his hands, and Yuuri has to agree regardless of his hesitation to call anything other than Yutopia Akatsuki ‘home’.
He says, “Yeah,” and watches Viktor scamper back to the kitchen (dodging the pail entirely this time). He unties his shoe laces, loosening far up to the toe before slipping them off. Makkachin saunters over, and he rubs at his collar, touching their foreheads together. He repeats to himself, “Yeah.”
-
“Yuuri? Are you napping?” Viktor calls softly from the doorway, framed in gold light. There is a squatty, Viktor-shaped shadow cast along the floor that Yuuri giggles, delirious, at before he says:
“Was,” and he is not bitter so much as reluctant to leave Viktor’s plush, king-sized bed —  reluctant to unravel himself from the blankets that smell so distinctly like Viktor (mint toothpaste and lavender).
Viktor steps into the room, clicking the door shut behind him blindly and leaning against it. Yuuri feels his eyes on his skin, a warmth that tingles in his stomach, and he tucks his face into the pillow so Viktor will not notice the drool on his chin.
“You slept through dinner,” Viktor tells him, sliding to the floor, his cheeks puffed with air he deflates slowly; the buttons on his back pockets chink against the wooden door. It is an uncomfortable noise that alerts Yuuri, waking him thoroughly. “It’s on the stove if you’d like to eat?"
His voice raises, still soft but hopeful now. It coaxes Yuuri to sit up, and he stands on shaking legs. The floor creaks with the weight of him, each sound out of place, each step aching in his muscles. He pokes the crown of Viktor’s head where the part falls back. Their movements cease, held by their (happy, heavy, sleepy) gazes and the one place they touch. Yuuri leans against the wall, sliding down to the floor and aligning their hips and shoulders until they are even.
A sob escapes from his throat. Viktor pulls Yuuri into his chest and holds him, holds him tight, palms cupping his shoulders and calming the tremors.
"What’s wrong?” Viktor asks, sweet, the same way he called out to a quiet room, and hushed-like, into his ear. His forehead presses calmly into Yuuri’s head, pulling apart the tension.
“I think … homesick,” he clenches the wings of Viktor’s flannel shirt in his balled fists, teeth and jaw ringing.
Viktor spent a tranquil hour on the floor, rubbing tender into Yuuri’s temples and retelling the story of when he first left home. He made Yuuri laugh, and now they eat dinner, Viktor for the second time. Yuuri keeps putting his bowl in the microwave for longer seconds, but each time he removes it, it is the same room temperature, never warmer.
“Should we look at possible music for your Free Program?”
Yuuri deflates, resting his head on a book that sits open on the table. The fine print swims, setting a pulse in his temple that he rubs the ache out of. “Not in the mood,” he says regretfully.
Viktor sighs. “Well … ” Yuuri knows he is searching for another interest to lighten the atmosphere, but it clings to the uncomfortable and does not wish to be changed. “I’ve been clearing out the closet to make more space for your stuff — ”
“I didn’t bring that much,” Yuuri interrupts, shovelling the soup into his mouth. It sits unpleasantly on his tongue.
Viktor says, “It’s fine,” dismissive, and he stands from the table. “I found some old diaries of mine. I think they might cheer you up.”
Yuuri tries to smile, but it does not mask the exhaustion in his eyes. “Could we … save them for when I’m actually awake to appreciate them?” He stirs his spoon around the bowl, whirl-pooling carrot medallions and cubed meat. He frowns into his murky reflection.
Viktor nods, removing Yuuri’s bowl and whisking it off the cluttered table. “You didn’t like it?”
“I don’t think I could stomach Katsudon right now, Viktor. Don’t take it personally.”
He hesitates. “I won’t,” he says eventually, and he turns to scrape the remainder of Yuuri’s dinner into the garbage bin.
Yuuri feels hazy with the tension of the air and the relentless sinking of his gut. He wants nothing more than to sleep off the sickening sensation. He stands from his chair and rubs his arms as he retreats to the bedroom once more. He tugs on a sweater, pauses, then reaches for the two zip-ups on the dresser. He rolls a second pair of socks over the first because it is cold in St. Petersburg.
-
“Viktor, I’m cold,” Yuuri says into the dark of the room. The void swallows up his words, and he would think Viktor had not heard if not for his emphatic flopping about the mattress.
Viktor hushes between his teeth and asks, “How?” His voices hoarse from the dry air and snoring. “It’s boiling in here.”
Yuuri opens his eyes blearily; he sees sweat along Viktor’s brow and the discarded covers. “ … Sorry,” he whispers, and he rubs at his arms for warmth. The bed jostles beneath him with just those small movements, so he stops. “Sorry,” he repeats, “I’m sorry.”
He moves little and sleeps even less, waking numb with a ringing just beneath his skin. He reaches for his glasses, fumbling, and when he puts them on, the world blends a little blurry from sleep. He holds his breath as he climbs over Viktor to get to the door, and the floorboards creak oddly beneath his socked feet, unfamiliar. He tiptoes to the bathroom, locking it belatedly after he stripped himself of his three sweatshirts and other layered clothing. He turns the shower full hot and lets out a piss before hopping in to thaw.
He stays under the stream until the water flows colder, for an eternity — long enough for Viktor to wake from the dead and cook breakfast because it is laid on the table when he exits the bathroom, bare feet trailing water across the icy floor (the chill sends shudders up his spine).
“Viktor?” He calls.
“Right here.”
“Okay,” He says, and he should be walking forward, but he finds he cannot move. Some force holds him, frozen — the same force that keeps him tense around Viktor like he is nothing more than a stranger and not the one Yuuri loves. He huffs, quiet, and wills himself to move — huffs again.
“Yuuri?” And Oh, it is so much softer. Viktor peers around the kitty corner of the kitchen. He says, “I was thinking a lot last night, and I want to talk to you.” He has this soft smile Yuuri cannot bear to look at, so his gaze drops to the floor. This is bad, the lead in his muscles tells him. And you just got here, too. “Yuuri?”
His inhale is sharp, and his eyes sting (he cannot recall the last time he blinked, so he squeezes his eyes shut). “Yep — ” but it is breathless.
“Just … let me shower. I’ll be out in five.” And then, belatedly, “There’s coffee.”
Viktor walks past breezily, yelping, thudding, giggling to himself. Yuuri winces but does not turn around. With the light sound of laughter, the ink in his veins thins. The bathroom door swings shut, and Yuuri meanders into the kitchen. He assesses the coffee pot — half full — and walks past to the bedroom where he finds a wrinkled t-shirt and jeans, alpaca socks, and his heaviest sweater. His shoulders droop with more than just the weight of his clothes.
Viktor’s words come back to him: 'Thinking a lot’ and 'Wanting to talk’ — both sound dreadful, daunting in a way that makes the coffee he now sips unpleasant and the skin of his knees itch. He tugs on his hair and removes his glasses (because he is too worried to see anything more than colour). His coffee has one sip left, and he leaves it in the mug. Five minutes pass too quickly; Viktor is there, in baby blue jeans and a white t-shirt, too crisp for the muddled thoughts riddling Yuuri’s mind.
“Okay,” Viktor claps his hands, and he is standing with eyes alight and hands that fidget at his dampened collar while Yuuri sinks further into his seat. “First of all, don’t be worried.”
“Easier said than done,” Yuuri says, and he drains his cup (the liquid is cold).
“I want to say … ” Viktor inhales through his mouth, flashing brushed teeth and a pink tongue. “I want to say that you don’t have to be perfect here. You can take naps and use up all the hot water, have morning breath, leave your socks on the floor, whine about being cold, wake me up in the middle of the night — do it all.” He takes more quick breaths. “I want you to - I want you to be you, and you are a human with a tendency to be human, so don’t — don’t try to hide that. Don’t hide anything. Okay?”
Yuuri stands slowly, and his chair scrapes against the floor.
Viktor asks again, quieter, “Okay?”
Yuuri walks around the table to stand in front of Viktor, and he says, “I’m cold,” in the smallest voice Viktor’s ever heard.
“That’s okay,” Viktor tells him, swallows him whole with just his thin arms, and it is warm, getting warmer, steadily.
-
It is cold in St. Petersburg - a cold that stiffens his hands and tightens his skin. It bears no resemblance to the cold of Hatsetsu, with heavy snow and frosted glass windows. St. Petersburg is fog rolling along cobblestone and up the brick walls of apartment buildings. Even with the furnace blasting heat from hidden vents, a hot water bottle tucked to his stomach, and Viktor (a space heater) curved along his back, Yuuri shivers.
“What time is it?” he asks, face smushed into Viktor’s arm. He rubs his cheek on the tender skin, and it gradually tenses, twitching, ticklish. He kisses the muscle, and Viktor stirs.
“What? Uh … three? It’s exactly three — what’s wrong?” He wraps his arms around Yuuri’s belly, nudging the hot water bottle away and shifting closer to Yuuri since he is too heavy to pull inwards.
“Just cold,” Yuuri sighs. It is not 'just’. He knows there is more to it, and he knows that Viktor knows that too.
Viktor lays his lips along the back of Yuuri’s neck (soft, pliant, warm), and they only part when Yuuri rolls onto his back. “What’s cold?” Viktor asks, the slightest hush against Yuuri’s cheek where his nose presses from the bridge to the tip.
“ … My hands,” Yuuri whispers, and there is no time, no moment, between the words and the holding of his palms. They press against the flood of heat that radiates from Viktor’s naked chest, and though Viktor’s own fingers chill, Yuuri is overcome with the lasting warmth. “And my face, kind of,” he says, and again, without hesitation, Viktor presses the hot of his mouth to Yuuri’s cheek and breathes. Yuuri holds himself still, close his eyes against the lips that have melted into mumbling against his temple.
“What else?” Those pretty lips ask.
“My stomach.”
Viktor pulls Yuuri’s hands from the crest of his collar, and Yuuri curves them around Viktor’s neck, fingertips pressing delicately into the skin along his spine. Viktor rolls onto his stomach, onto Yuuri. He is light in the way he holds himself with his arms framed along the pillow, but the length of his torso and the curve of his legs weigh heavy. They fit from chest to toe, thin and thick alternatively, and Viktor brushes the hem of Yuuri;s shirt, pulls it to his sternum and then higher. He presses their stomachs together, and they shiver with the bareness of it. If he closes his eyes, he can feel the dip of Viktor’s navel beside his, and he cants up for a less abstract pressure.
“Warm enough?” Viktor asks, lips on Yuuri’s chin and climbing higher.
Yuuri has the fabric of his long underwear and Viktor’s boxers between his thumb and forefinger, and he rubs the flannel against his fingertips twice before sliding both pants down just … just enough to press these warmths together.
“Almost,” he whispers into Viktor’s mouth when it caresses his, “Not yet.”
-
Tea is warm, but the apartment is cold. He cradles his mug in both palms, breathing in minty steam. He takes a sip, savouring the liquid on his tongue before swallowing. The ceramic clinks against the coffee table, and when he leans back into the couch, Viktor grasps one of his socked feet. He squeezes twice, and Yuuri squirms; if his tea was still in his hands, it would have spilled onto his chest for all he jiggled.
“What are you doing,” Yuuri says, exasperated but in a tired way that puts his ill heart at ease in the evening hours. “I’m ticklish.”
“You’re also tired,” Viktor folds his legs and shifts to face Yuuri on the couch, bringing his foot to rest on his thigh. “Mama used to rub my feet when I was tired.”
Yuuri sighs, sliding closer so it is his shoulders on the armrest and not his back. “You can,” he yawns, “can show me those diaries now.”
“Are you going to fall asleep on me?” Viktor asks, leaning close to touch their noses together.
“ … Maybe?"
Viktor pecks his nose, swinging Yuuri’s legs off his lap and standing in one swift movement. He runs his hands through his hair as he walks, disappearing around the kitty corner. Yuuri reaches for his mug and takes a sip, setting it back on the coffee table just as Viktor slides around the bend on one sock, his other leg extended in a perfected arabesque. He skids to a stop, and Yuuri’s eyes focus on the two butterfly books he cradles in his arms — crafted of brown moleskin with purple stickers.
Viktor makes to faint onto the couch, and Yuuri retracts his legs at the last moment to save them from being crushed. Viktor lies down beside Yuuri so their faces press close, and he sets one diary aside to open the other, revealing crisp, white pages and a felt-blue glitter pen’s scrawl.
"This one’s a journal,” He says, breath hitting Yuuri’s cheek, and he presses his smile to the flush of Yuuri’s skin — all teeth and thin lips. “The other’s a skating wish-list from junior division.”
“Wish-list?” Yuuri asks.
Viktor readjusts himself, tucking into the back of the couch and sitting up against the arm. “For songs I really liked, or jumps I wanted to learn, future themes … ” His words dissolve into kisses he engraves along the juncture of Yuuri’s neck, where the cotton of his shirt slips and the fever of his face fades.
Viktor reads the entries aloud, projecting his voice in a sweet medium that lulls Yuuri into daydreams. He only wakes with a snort when he hears Viktor’s commentary. He listens to tale after tale, and with the end of each one, he feels a little closer to the Man tucked into his side, a little more familiar in this cold place of fog and steeple.
He is entranced by the steady flow of words, and they blur together into a single strand until he can no longer hold Viktor’s gaze. He lets his eyes close, slowly, reluctant for sleep to take him, and then he feels a weightless air under him and not the suede of the couch. Viktor’s arms hold him to his chest, legs swept up and rested in the crook of his elbow. Yuuri breathes sharply, dreary and on the verge of unconsciousness, and he tucks his head into Viktor’s neck where his nose can warm.
“Will you put dinner away?” Yuuri mumbles, and Viktor hushes him, laying a kiss at his hairline.
“Sure,” He hikes Yuuri higher in his arms, and Yuuri’s stomach drops. He clenches his fingers into the collar of Viktor’s t-shirt, and he watches his Adam’s apple bob when he says, “You sleep. I’m going to read the other diary. I’ll join you,” Viktor yawns, and the sight compels Yuuri to yawn as well. “I’ll join you soon.”
“Okay,” Yuuri says, and Viktor lays him on the bed. Yuuri wraps his arms around Viktor’s neck and kisses his lips soundly before collapsing onto the mattress. “I love you,” He tells Viktor, and Viktor pulls the duvet cover up to Yuuri’s shoulders.
He kisses Yuuri’s cheek where it flushes pink and removes his glasses. “I love you too.”
-
Yuuri is jerked awake, startled. “What — What time is it, Viktor!”
“Time doesn’t matter, Yuuri. I have the music for your free program.” Viktor leaps onto the bed, jostling Yuuri’s blanket cocoon. He steps on Makkachin’s tail, and a yelp resounds from both Viktor and his dog, sharp against the white noise that fills the apartment. Viktor is giddy, from his pink shoulders to his pink cheeks, and they pinch around the grin he cannot contain when he is with Yuuri. He is vividly overcome with a sense of déjà vu, but it slips away with the tinge of cold on his fingertips.
Where? Yuuri wants to ask, can feel the word on is tongue, but Viktor is already telling him: “I found it at the bottom of the wish-list, unscratched.”
Yuuri wriggles to sit up in bed, reaching for his glasses, but Viktor says, “You don’t need them. Just — listen.”
He does, with a sleepy, fluttering heart, and he finds Viktor’s hand in his own. It is as warm as the headphones against his ears, hot from Viktor’s own head where it has stayed presumably for the duration of Yuuri’s sleep. An enchanting melody settles him against the headboard, and Viktor sidles beside him, ear pressed to the outside of the right headphone to hear as well.
Quietly, quietly, a voice starts to sing. Yuuri exhales, but the breath does not leave him fast enough. It is a hallelujah whispered softly in his ear. “Yes,” he nods, but he cannot express how much 'Yes’ fast enough. He squeezes Viktor’s hand, all hat muscle against his, all that skin and bone and heartbeat, and he looks carefully into Viktor’s eyes, though he cannot see them clearly. Blue blends into his eyelashes, and the pinks of his cheeks stretches over his red mouth. Yuuri kisses it, “Yes.”
The End
I hope you liked it!

What do you get when you put two Florida bands together for four nights? An amazing 4 days of music and concerts you will never forget. That was exactly what happened during Thanksgiving week when A Day To Remember and Underoath took over a sold-out House of Blues Orlando in Lake Buena Vista FL for The Degenerates Tour. A sold-out show at House of Blues Orlando is always an amazing experience. The energy from the fans, the talk of excitement, and the singing along to the songs line by line. There’s nothing greater than attending a show with hardcore fans. And it’s exactly what we had on Friday, November 30th.
First up was the special guest from Tampa, FL Underoath. The band formed back in 1997 and released their first album Act of Depression in 1999 and immediately gathered a strong fan base. Their high energy performances and music gathered the masses to their shows that helped support an additional 6 more albums with two of those certified as Gold. But, in 2012 Underoath announced they would be hanging it up and went on a farewell tour. In January 2013 the band played their final show at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, FL. Fortunately for their fans, the band announced their reunion in 2015 and in 2018 released their 8th studio album Erase Me. It was their first studio album in 8 years and was a huge success peaking at #1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart. The band has been touring in support of Erase Me since it’s release. Underoath is Spencer Chamberlin (vocals), Aaron Gillespie (drums, vocals), Timothy Mctague (lead guitar), James Smith (rhythm guitar), Grant Brandell (bass), and Christopher Dudley (keyboards).

The stage went dark with nothing but words “Underoath” displayed on the big screen on stage. The band came out and started off the night with “In Regards to Myself” from Define the Great Line. They followed that with “Breathing In a New Mentality” from Lost in the Sound of Separation. Underoath had the crowd hooked and we were just getting started. The one thing I’ve always loved about Underoath is their passion and intensity on stage. Timothy, James, and Grant were playing hard and the more the crowd cheered and screamed the more it seemed to urge them on. Christopher was seriously a madman behind the keyboards, banging his head with his blonde hair whipping in front of his face back and forth. Aaron also did the same whipping away at the drums banging out some awesome drumbeats. As usual, Spencer‘s vocals were so powerful and clear and he led that crowd through every song. Underoath stuck to older music that night only playing three songs “On My Teeth”, “No Frame”, and “Sink With You” from Erase Me. The crowd was moshing, headbanging, and overall loving the performance. And when Underoath wrapped it up for the night, Spencer gave the crowd a nice surprise stating we’d hear new music from Underoath in 2020.

The stage was covered with a white curtain as the crew set up for A Day To Remember. As we were all waiting patiently, a rare, yet hilarious moment occurred. House of Blues Orlando starting playing The Backstreet Boys “I Want It That Way” over the loudspeakers. The crowd on the floor starting singing along with the song. But, the group of fans who kept the mosh pit going decided to start moshing and crowd surfing to the song. It’s not every day you see a mosh pit to The Backstreet Boys!
Soon enough the headliners A Day To Remember would be coming to the stage. The band from Ocala, FL formed back in 2003. Focusing on gathering a fanbase, the band performed and toured as much as they could that starting year and in 2004 released their EP Halos for Heroes, Dirt for the Dead. By the following year, the band signed onto a record label and released their debut album And Their Name Was Treason. The album received great reviews and the band continued to build upon the momentum. When the band released Homesick in 2009, the album charted at #21 on the Billboard 200 and hit #1 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart. The following year the band released both an EP of cover songs titled Attack of the Killer B-Sides but also released their fourth studio album What Separates Me from You. That album charted at #11 on the Billboard 200, hit #1 on multiple Billboard charts, and was even certified as Gold. A Day To Remember was on the rise with great sales, a huge fan base, and fantastic music. The band ended up entering a lawsuit in December 2011 against their record label at that time, Victory Records, over royalties not paid. As the lawsuit was ongoing, the band continued to make music and prepared for a new album release. A Day To Remember won the right to self-release their next album with Common Courtesy in 2013. That album did very well and charted #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart. In 2016 the band self-released Bad Vibrations. The album did very well and charted at #2 on the Billboard 200. A Day To Remember will be releasing their seventh studio album You’re Welcome with their new record label Fueled By Ramen. A Day To Remember is Jeremy McKinnon (vocals), Alex Shelnutt (drums), Kevin Skaff (guitar, vocals), Neil Westfall (guitar, vocals), and Joshua Woodard (bass).

When the curtain came down A Day To Remember was already onstage and immediately jumped into “The Downfall of Us All” from Homesick and then followed up with “All I Want” from What Separates Me From You. With bright lights on stage, two spotlights in the balcony, camera crew in the photo pit and at the soundboard display the action on the screen behind them, A Day To Remember made this show a huge production. The crowd was absolutely loving it all. They were singing along word for word, phones in their hands recording the action, and the mosh pit was moving hard, even requiring security to be in there to keep things safe. On top of that, fans were crowd surfing their way to the front to get as close as they could to the band. And the band themselves were having fun. Joshua was all smiles as he played bass. Neil was singing backup and smiling as he played. Kevin was wearing reflective sunglasses and grinning wide while he played. But, Jeremy was all over the stage running from side to side as he sang.

A Day To Remember sounded amazing during their performance. They played a huge setlist that night including songs such as “Paranoia”, a cover of “My Own Worst Enemy” by Lit, “Rescue Me”, and their latest single “Degenerates”. Jeremy thanked the crowd often for supporting them through all the years and praised House of Blues Orlando, especially the security staff, for keeping all the fans safe. Jeremy also called out how impressed he was that not one crowd surfer got dropped that night and some people even crowd surfboarded each other without getting hurt. A very impressive feat. A Day To Remember also wanted to ensure the fans were having fun as they threw out beach balls, shot t-shirts out to the crowd, and even threw toilet paper around. When they came out to encore and close the show, the fired off tons of confetti and streamers covering the entire crowd.
