Catching up on yesterday’s The Great Pottery Throwdown and as the challenge the potters l had to throw a PSYKTER - an Ancient Greek wine-cooler!

It’s likely that snow-cooled water would have been put inside the psykter and it placed inside a krater of wine, to cool it. There’s not a lot that survive - they went out of fashion, not being that practical, apparently - but I love the idea of them bobbing on the liquid surface with decorations like these dolphin riders!

Pottery Throwdown is already a great programme, connecting many of us with pottery, an age-old practice almost ubiquitous with humanity, in a way that most people don’t get to any more, and I’m always reminding my Classics students to watch it to give them a better understanding of the vessels they’re studying!

What’s Here Wednesday: Collection Discovery, K-12 Textbooks

Textbooks for K-12 can be tricky to get ahold of, but Collection Discovery has a set of featured K-12 Textbooks that you can borrow! Even better, many of these titles are the Teacher’s Editions, which means that they’ll include additional information to help you make the most of the book that you’re using. Textbooks can be a great way to see how a specific unit on a topic is structured, or get ideas for questions you can ask in class. Textbooks are available on all levels, and subject areas (math, ELA, science, etc).

First of all... what's an agere journal?

Great question! it's a few things really (or whatever you want it to be)

It can be a journal you can use when you regress, just so you can draw and do fun activities! mostly for artistic littles who like to make and draw :3 Or it can be a journal full of information on regression, specify your regression. listing stuff like what you do when little, your favoruite things, your boundaries. these are usually made for littles to give to their caregivers. or it can be both!
