SHOTO/ 1-A GIRLS HC TIME!!!!

Once a month the girls have a sleepover. At first it was just a silly little idea to just relax and spend some time together outside of school. (even though they live in the same dorm lmao) Before it turned into something monthly. Every sleepover is held in one of the girls room, and every month they switch which room they sleep in. Just a typical sleepovers with LOTS of snacks, face masks, games, and gossip. Like who has a crush on who, lots of complaining about teachers/m*neta, truth or dare, never have I ever, Mario cart you know it.

And then one day Momo invites Shoto to one of their sleepovers which was held in her room. At first he was a confused as to why she would invite him to their sleepover, when they made it clear from the beginning that it was a boy free zone. Especially after kaminari and m*neta tried to sneak into one. But after a lot of pestering from momo he finally agreed, and it was not what he’d expected. (What could he really expect when he’s never been to one, let alone one that’s with girls?)

And from the moment he entered the room he was bombarbered with blankets, face mask, and nail polish. To say he was overwhelmed would be an understatement, as he turned to momo for help like he always did (after midoriya ofc) And so after a brief explanation he had Mina painting his left hand with red nail polish, whilst Hagakure was painting the other hand blue to “match with his quirk” as they said. And on the other hand they were all listening to Ochako and Mina gush about a love confession they saw during lunch. And how he brought his crush a whole bouquet of roses whilst singing and playing a romantic song on a guitar. He couldn’t pay much attention to the story when his mind was occupied with thoughts on when or if he could ever do something like that for izuku? When Hagakure suddenly let out a shriek and everyone turned towards them, but their eyes were on his hands..? Confused he looked down and yep, tooru’s whole hand was covered in ice and frozen like an ice block.

And so after a loooong interrogation he has about 10 different ways to confess to izuku. That is if he ever had the guts to do that. Though the talk (more like a questioning) with the girls really took a weight of his shoulders which he told them. and thus he was invited to the next sleepovers if he let them keep painting his nails each time.

Toru and Jiro have powers that lend themselves well to character arcs. The girl who can hear anything, and the girl who can’t be seen can tell very compelling character arcs.

I lean more toward Toru as she makes no sense with the impromptu Aizawa physical, or the entrance exam, because, well, she was a poorly thought out joke. Giving her an actual reason, or giving her a backstory that gives her exemption (such as maybe the child of notorious villains) would do well to make her and the early part of the series make a lot more sense.

Her being a child of villains would be interesting, especially if they are still loving parents and goes well with the themes of redemption.

I agree that Toru is extremely underrated and a wasted character. Her being a child of a villain would be fun, like her father could have been like the original invisible man and the reason she wants to be a hero is to redeem her family name. As top anon said, it would have gone with the redemption theme. It would especially be interesting if the reason Toru got into the hero course was because she had a high level of rescue points. Speaking of which;

And I definitely agree we needed a reason for Toru to have made it into the hero course. Why? Because the story makes a big of it in in Shinsou’s character arc, then makes it a point to state that the entrance exam is unfair.

Bottom Anon also has a point; the others are at least explored personality wise, but Toru? She’s just cheery and there to fail.

As is Toru is a gag character that isn’t even that funny. She’s just—there. For more details on my thoughts I covered most of it here.

The ones I'd like to keep in my heart. Many of them are aren't cannon but I love them, some never got their happy ending but I hope that one day they meet each other again. Some of them got to have their endings and some didn't, some may be just friends and some just "colleagues" 😂, whatever they are, i know they love each and care about each other. They might as well burn the world for their lovers. In jujutsu kaisen they said that love is the greatest curse of them all and it may be for some. For me, it's as much as a blessing as it is a tragedy and I hope that something as pure as love doesn't get to be called a curse for the rest of us too. This post got even longer for no reason, midnight thoughts are really something dude 🤣🤣

Some points I liked (I focused more on 1B since they don't get a lot of attention)

1B once had a Tetsutetsu BBQ. They heated him up and cooked food on him. He proceeds to ruin it when he declares his sweat is the salt to their food

Yui is canonically the prettiest first-year

Mineta has no sex appeal at all, but he thinks being a hero will make him lucky

Class B does respect Monoma. He's sharp-minded, witty, and has a way with words

Monoma sometimes wanders into 1A's dorm just to throw down a mean speech, and heads back to 1B

Juzo probably isn't helping Monoma's confrontations with 1A, since he just always asks him why he can't say it to their faces whenever Monoma complains about them

Shiozaki tries to be polite even in a fight

Pony hosts anime parties, so 1B knows a lot about anime. Vice-versa, they teach her Japanese, and everything nasty is Monoma's fault

Tokage was a gyaru

Tsuburuaba, Kaibara, and Kuroiro get worked up whenever they talk about girls

Manga likes Kenranzaki

Awase's family runs a small factory. He also restrains Monoma whenever Kendo isn't available

1B likes hearing Rin say "Aiyah", so he does it for them

Kamakiri is obsessed with cutting into things

Class B's play was really successful

Tamaki is scared of Kirishima's energy

1C was planning a send-off party for Shinsou for his upcoming hero transfer. They didn't doubt he would make it, ever since the Sports Festival

Tsuyu's family gets to spend a lot of time together now, since their parents' busy jobs have calmed down

Tsubasa (devil wing kid in Midoriya's memories) suspiciously lost touch with Midoriya and Bakugo in middle school (his Wiki page confirms Garaki - his grandfather - turned him into a Nomu)

Torino likes goofy gags. This rubs off on All Might (ex. when Midoriya thought he died when Torino fell with ketchup. People don't know whether to laugh or be concerned)

Nighteye has yellow streaks in his hair as a homage to All Might

Nezu likes worming into tight, dark places, so he likes Aizawa's scarf. They went into detail, describing why Nezu likes it, such as material to crawling in, etc.

Recovery Girl has to travel around Japan regularly to help people with her Quirk (as in, she uses her Quirk to help them. Healing Quirks are SO rare)

Hojo, Tabe, and Sestuno are kept in the same jail, so at least they're not separated

I love your Tsuyu as a child of erasermic, although if she had a sibling who would you think might fit?

I like Habuko Mongoose, not only does she have a bond with Tsu in the OVA, but her love of their friendship and dedication even while zombiefied suits with Mic, and her internalized thoughts seem to mirror young eraser, as well as her lack of social skills.

I also think it would suit their family of seemingly opposites.

Have no knowledge of anime characters sadly, so no idea who Habuko is.

I have two head canons for this subject;

One is that Tsuyu and Izuku are step siblings, Hizashi having been married to Inko in the past and Aizawa having a one night stand with Tsuyu’s mom. There’s no drama though as all the adults get along fine (though there is a bit of awkwardness between Aizawa and Tsuyu’s other dad). Obviously in this AU I make Erasermic slightly older.

The second one is that Erasermic eventually adopt most of class 1-A over time, the exception being Bakagou simply because I don’t like him. (It’s my head canon/imagination, I can be as petty as I want. :p) He gets adopted by Jeanist, who tries to get him to cool down.

In the second scenario, Tsuyu is the first to be adopted and as such she’s taken on the role of the big sister to everyone as she helps accumulate the new kids to the family as children tend to bond with others.

The order of adoptions after Tsuyu are;

Koda, Rikudo, Tokoyami, Mina, Ojiro, Toru, Jiro and Denki—they came together—Eijiro, Mineta, Sero, Momo, Ochako, Shoji, Tenya, Shoto, Izuku, and Yuga.

The Obscure Hidden Yaoi of Ranma 1/2

CW: Mention of Suicide, Period-Typical Transphobic and Homophobic reactions

There's a scene in the manga where Gosunkugi crossdresses to get Ranma's attention(this isn't the first time btw) and sabotage his role in the Romeo & Juliet play.

When he rejects the bomb, they parody a love rejection scene.

Whenever one of Ranma's rivals catches him with a girl that's not Akane/Shampoo, they normally celebrate it and even root for him since he won't be "getting in their way" anymore.

But Gosunkugi gets weirdly jilted about it, heart pumping sound effects and all.

In chapter 200 Gosunkugi gets a set of paper dolls that can control people when given commands. Though accidental, he only puts romantic commands on men.

In particular, Ranma and Gosunkugi's date gets a lot of spotlight, lasting 2 pages out of a 16 page chapter, culminating in this exchange.

After this happened Ranma starts blushing when Gosunkugi walks by and asks what his intentions were earlier.

The next Gosunkugisode is about him reconsidering his thoughts on Ranma since he saved him from bullies, but this gets rebuffed by Gosunkugi buying a mecha armor to defeat him. His crush on Akane gets mentioned less and less.

If the armor doesn't punch the desired target in 30 minutes both the wearer and the target will explode. By the end of the chapter, Ranma has a speech about pride and fighting Gosunkugi fairly. The only part of it that he notices is "man to man".

After this Gosunkugi tearfully swoons over Ranma acknowledging him, describing his current situation as a lovers' suicide and apologizing for not wanting to do it.

The chapter ends with Gosunkugi not being able to finish a sentence directed to Ranma with similar wording to the earlier scene about him being accepted.

Even though he sits directly behind Ranma, this is the last time Gosunkugi ever ambushes him. Even though he sits next to Akane, he never shows any reaction to her anymore and seems to be looking at someone else instead. He only uses his straw dolls to fidget with.

The last line Gosunkugi ever has in the manga has him sweating heavily with his heart beating fast after finding a supposed wedding ring that Ranma had buried in the ground(with Ranma blushing in the back for good measure).

This was just an excuse to list the fruitiest moments these two had.

As a bonus, here's a minor detail that I noticed. Whenever Ranma's rivals want to insult him, they all go "Yurusan!(Unforgivable!)" or "Onore!!(You!!)".

But Gosunkugi instead repeatedly says "Saotome no Baka!!(Stupid Saotome!!)" just like his suitors do.
