This morning the thought occurred to me: Why do you think Legend's dark world form is a rabbit!

One of the reasons I think Legend's dark world form is a rabbit is because rabbits are actually Legendary creatures in hyrule. Well, somewhat. Maybe not in all time periods. But they seem kind of rare.

I'm pretty sure when Legend turned into a rabbit Twilight said something along the lines of "I've never actually seen one before." And in BOTW we find the Blupees, which are very magical and legendary creatures, and they are basically rabbits.

So, since Legend is literally the hero of Legend, he would obviously be a legendary creature. Their dark world forms are also supposed to represent their true selves in a way and since Legend is really a gentle soul at heart, he should be a gentle creature

just remembered that the defenders were not the found family i’ve convinced myself they were to be. like wdym they don’t all reluctantly get together on thanksgiving. wdym colleen and matt don’t occasionally team up or chat on rooftops while they’re on patrol. wdym karen and jess don’t become close friends. wdym luke and danny don’t hang out often. wdym they all didn’t get together for colleen and danny’s wedding. wdym foggy and luke aren’t kind of friends. wdym colleen misty and claire don’t go to bars together.

I also feel like all the terrible things Allison did in season 3 to get Claire back, in terms of like eroding her own morals and ethics, should have been held up as a mirror to Reginald doing the same for Abigail to actually make the theme hit.

Like that conversation on the bench between Reginald and Abigail feels like it's meant to be the central thesis of the show, and it kind of is - some things cannot be fixed, they cannot be undone, and by trying to do so all you are going to do is damage yourself and others further.

But because Abigail kind of only exists on screen for a grand total of 5 minutes (and no I do not count her scenes wearing Sy) there is no real impact because we don't see any emotional reactions from her or about her. We don't see Reginals actions being motivated by her loss because we never really get to know him as character, he's only a plot device.

It's my problem all over with this season - the plot is there, but there is no emotional resonance. In season 1 we felt Viktor's simmering rage, Allison's regret, Luthors isolation and so on. Ben's true death, Allison's expiriences fighting for civil rights, and Klaus's scenes with Dave in Season 2 hurt. Even season 3 has it's moments. But in this season what should be big emotional moments just....dissapate into nothing because none of the characters have any sort of true emotional reaction to them, so they have no impact.

Like we can look at the seperate pieces of the story and see what they wanted to do with a storyline about cycles of abuse and regret, they wanted to do a story about emotion, but it rings hollow this season because outside of the worlds most hateful love triangle, nothing is actually dealt with emotionally

Sometimes I forget about the fact that Morpheus can very easily be seen as the villain in The Sandman. Like at the very least he’s extremely morally gray, but the stuff that he does can easily rip him into “villain” territory.

If you were to design a special, magical ring for Legend, what would its powers be and what would it look like?

Just a fun question that randomly occurred to me as I doodled him earlier today, if you can't think of anything I couldn't really either ROFL.

I actually just thought about it while I was reading this now.

A moonpearl ring. It would have a simple silver (or maybe a dark blue) band with a tiny moonpearl embedded on top.

What is it for? It allows Legend to transform from Hylian to bunny at will! I think he could definitely use this to avoid any more accidental transformations in the future. And after seeing Twilight with the ability to go from Hylian to Wolf whenever he wants, Legend wouldn't mind having the same control
