here are some of my hot takes for jackbox games, i don’t wanna spam the askbox so i’m putting all of them in one post (i would post this on my actual account, but some of these are so controversial, i will probably get mauled)

hot take 1: tmp is so painfully overhyped, it’s mid to me, i never liked it all that much (same case for roomerang, but i actually used to like roomerang at first)

hot take 2: rue meringue is SO FUCKING BORING. SHE HAS NO PERSONALITY AND IT MAKES ME ANGRY

hot take 3: if old man and nicholas kakolas didn’t exist, i’d give m bubs the reward for worst jackbox host! (my reasoning? their only personality trait is being “silly” and fans eat that shit up every time and it pisses me off)

hot take 4: full stream is really fucking bad, but it actually can be funny sometimes

hot take 5: binjpipe lady (when she isn’t being cartoonishly evil) is actually pretty funny! her and cookie’s dynamic can be funny at times. idk why people have such a massive hate boner for her, she’s actually not that bad

hot take 6: i do not care for tee k.o. and the old avatars

hot take 7: word spud isn’t the worst jackbox game

hot take 8: party pack 10 is the worst pack, not party pack 1 NOR the naughty pack

hot take 9: i don’t give a shit about any of the games in party pack 10 (i don’t even care for dodo re mi which is the best game in that pack, idk i just don’t ever feel like playing it)

hot take 10: civic doodle is kinda fun! it’s still the worst game in pack 4, though.

hot take 11: if the host of job job wasn’t m bubz, job job would’ve been perfect!

hot take 12: cookie solos all of your favorite hosts (lowkey a lukewarm take maybe, but idk)

hot take 13: the best faker avatar in fakin it is the Blue Girl

hot take 14: i would’ve happily taken any other Jackbox Fanfic ship over m bubz x the fuck ass captain from joke boat, i forgot his name and i don’t give enough of a shit to remember it

Civic Doodle (P4), also known earlier in development as "Artsy Fartsy" (shown in the above concept art), was quickly put together as a last-minute project for Pack 4; Andy Poland recorded the entirety of host Old Man's dialogue in two days and "couldn't talk for a week afterward."

The game was also nicknamed "the Penis Game" by development staff "because that's all anyone was drawing." It is highly likely that the developers' obsession with drawing genitalia led to the inclusion of an eggplant emote in the final game.
