After much thinking, we decided to temporarily close our Mewe. We understand that a slow feed during the opening sets a huge impression, but we will not give up! Instead, we will wait until we have enough applications for now. Kindly read the remaining details below.

After reaching at least 15 applications, we will open our doors once more!

Upon re-opening, we will change the range of the activity check from every 2 weeks to a weekly basis. This is to ensure that there is a consistent and reliable tangible activity within the community. The tokens and activity page will be updated accordingly.

The faceclaims who have joined previous to this announcement will be freed up. However, feel free to reach us if you wish to keep it.

Nor'easter + I"m back

Hiii, it's me egg again. I decided to come back online publicly cause I kind of miss sharing my stuff. While I've been away, I wanted to make my lore more complex, and I wanted to explore even more of US History from NY state & NYC standpoint so I made a little series for myself called "Nor'easter" (which i spelt wrong on these reference sheets lol).

The main three characters are Alfred/USA, Jennie/NY, and Lynn/Manhattan, NYC. I want to explore US history from these three perspectives, and I like to explore two major themes within that:

1) Who is and who is not considered American?

2) How did the US become a modern empire?

I will warn that this lore does not have a clear sense of morality, and at times the themes will be rather dark. Furthermore, this is not meant to be a literal retelling of US history. They are personifications of these places and they're prone to doing human-like actions.

A few final notes: in my lore, Alfred is only distant cousins to Matt/Canada. His first cousins are the US States of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

I will be using this blog to share my art and stuff on tumblr lol. I am not going to change the name cause i am attached to it, and you can still ask the boroughs questions if you want to, I just may not be able to answer them quickly cause life is busy.

𝖺𝗉𝗉𝖾𝖺𝗋𝖺𝗇𝖼𝖾; Keith is incredibly tall (1'95cm) and lanky and (mainly) due to addiction he is also incredibly skinny which gives him a ghoulish look. He has piercing blue eyes and dyes his usual dirty blonde locks a bright red (or let's it weather over time for a more pinkish look). He sports a mohawk which he usually styles into a mohawk or liberty spikes depending on his mood.

𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘

clothing style; Most of Keith's clothes are either thrifted, self made or found in a dumpster on a good day. He wears various graphic tees with different punk slogans or other bands, he wears a lot of different accessories. And of course he wears an old pair of black doc martens with purple and yellow laces. Keith also has a trenchcoat which he decorated with safety pins and red thread for detailing.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

personality; Keith can be a hot-head and a loud-mouth, he only really has a soft spot for his bandmates since they're the closest thing to family for him. When being questioned about his personal life he will most likely become very hostile about it and start insulting you but that all depends on the other person's 'vibe'. Overall he is a kind and free-spirited guy but definitely can come over as an asshole or rude thanks to his general behavior and jokes. He is also incredibly sensitive to peer pressure.
