Since I don't have to do any schoolwork for a while, I thought I'd get back to drawing more to keep my artistic abilities from faltering.

I based some of my new pieces on holidays or events. This one was made for International Picnic Day, which was June 18th. Given the name, I went with the obvious choice of drawing Yogi and Cindy.

Since I was drawing something related to Yogi Bear, I tried making the background as on-model as possible. While I've drawn Yogi a few times in the past, this was my first time drawing Cindy. After getting her feminine form and head angle down, she wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought she'd be.

I was going to draw most of these art pieces traditionally on paper. But because the scenes were so minimal, I decided to draw some of them digitally. Because of that, I had to make the most of the program and create something that perfectly captured my art style and the intended mood for the piece.
