This is another commission I did for my friend ThePentagamCross, based on a Jellystone fanfic they created about Augie turning into a video game character and gains powers from a now deceased famous video game character to fight a few bad guys who threaten multiple worlds.
In this fanfiction, Augie is 13 years old and moves into a place within a rift in the 4th wall, where she is aware of the fact she is a cartoon character and has to cross dimensions to defeat an evil force threatening the world… or rather, worlds.
Characters in this picture include, from left to right:
Sammy: A fox girl who does a little detective work to figure things out, and points lore for other information Augie needs to know before jumping into things.
Augie: A girl who isn’t as fun and full of childlike wonder as her real self. She has many video game weapons and uses them to her disposal to take on anything. She relies on her new pals within the 4th wall town she lives in now.
Danielle: A girl who’s into Augie and sees her a love interest. She has a mean brother that cares for her, but follows Augie around for cheers and tries to get Augie to notice her. However, Augie has no will to tell Danielle that she's not interested but she may change her mind eventually.

“I don’t want to keep living in this ignorant hole you call a town. I want to live OUTSIDE of Jellystone where the REAL people are. Living a REAL life.”
So this is Augie’s mom Doggy Mommy. But she prefers the REAL name she goes by since she left Jellystone:
Maude Doug
Also the last time Doggy Daddy “saw” Maude was on “that show where the housewives throw drinks at each other” (reference to the ep VIP Baby You Know Me)

Huckleberry Hound — Avenger I
Tumblr media
He moves in the shadows, darkness being his only companion in his path towards the light. His heroic spirit, tempered and matured through many trials, shines through even the blackest of skies. Celestial Warrior, Avenger I, descends upon the battlefield.
The town of Jellystone has driven many a mayor to an asylum. Yet Huckleberry has held the chair for a whopping three terms, with talks of a fourth looming on the horizon. At first glance, it’s easy to see why he’s popular. Coolheaded, unflappable, and possessing the classic laidback Southern charm, he’s seen as a beacon of normalcy in a town where get-rich-quick schemes and other shenanigans run rampant. Aside from a side note about him hailing from North Carolina, however, not much is known about his personal life, mostly because not many get too close. To many in town, although he is a well known public figure, he is often seen as a mysterious, steely-eyed and silent-type stranger.
And if one were to ask Huckleberry Hound, he’d be happy to hear it, because he’d prefer it if things stayed that way.
By day, he’s the untouchable, coolheaded mayor of Jellystone. By night, he is the fearsome and devastating Avenger. He appears to be a regular hound, but in reality, he is a Celestial, ethereal beings of mysterious origins with powers that have been sought after by many, and attained by few. As the name implies, Celestials are not of this Earth, but are born in the deepest parts of the galaxy. As one of the pure Celestials, he can summoned like a creature of myth, often called upon by those who have been grieved and betrayed. Huckleberry is a member of the Warrior class, and while many other Celestials surpass him in both power and combat prowess, he is not to be underestimated. As his name implies, he takes swift vengeance on wrongdoers, often in precise, yet brutal ways—and even if he loses a battle, he will give his opponent his all in combat, commanding their respect.
His umbrakinesis and his dark armor contrast heavily against his personality, which has led to several people, even his fellow Celestials, to believe that he is evil. He attacks his targets with soldier-like precision and dedication, with the goal of protecting the town he now calls home from any and all threats. This reflects his inner desire to serve, and as such, he will not raise his sword against anybody under false pretenses or without justification. He wants no praise for his actions, instead only wishing that the people who summon him are at least put at peace. As such, when his assignment is complete, his powers will lull those who summon him into deep sleep. Those who speak of Avenger afterwards can only describe his armor and demeanor—how his kindness contrasted heavily against his armor. He has an important Astral Skill, which allows him to both heal others and release their souls. In accordance with his powers, however, he will only do so if it’s the deceased’s will that they return or leave.
This was supposed to happen to Droop-a-Long Coyote, who sought immediate justice for the murder of his sister Betty, and inadvertently summoned him. One could imagine Huckleberry’s surprise when the coyote, who worked at the town hall as an intern, immediately came to him and thanked him for what he did for his little sister.
Huckleberry was so stunned that he could only utter one word:
“How?
I started Avenger after I finished the line art for Bugs, but didn’t get around to finishing him. However, I got it done over the weekend and I absolutely LOVE how he turned out! Those fabric markers did come in handy!
You knew I had to doodle Huck again before I do the others, LOL XD. And I will do a proper profile for Droopy and the others soon. But yeah, look at him and how cool he turned out!
Next one will hopefully be Reaper. I have an idea for how to design him at long last, and I have had a hankering to draw Ricochet again, so you can expect him soon!
Enjoy!

Poetry Corner
So simply imagine the sheer sensation of surprise bound to come about when, by sudden sense of chance on some otherwise hazy-looking small-town Sunday with a slight hint of warmth (and not much else on the TV otherwise) ...
some esoteric and perhaps obscure sort of flicktoon Funtastic type decides to stumble down your back street and, driven solely by spontaneity of whimsy, s/he just decides to call upon you and swap some "quality time" driven solely the spontaneous. Almost in a sense of conversation to the point of swapping cake and coffee as much as tales about yourself and the family extended.

Watched season three of Jellystone the other day and their was an episode where Mayor Huckleberry Hound finds out that the town doesn’t care about the election since he always runs unopposed so huckleberry creates an alternate persona to run against him just so people will get invested. And does that not sound like something Mayor Molly would do?
Libby doing interviews with the “opposing candidate” Milly McGee from Canada and just grilling Molly with facts about citizenship and electoral eligibility to the point where Milly drops out shortly after, once again leaving Molly as the sole candidate

MAX's Jellystone offers animation fans a surreal take on #CartoonNetwork icons.
The show focuses on #HannaBarbera characters such as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, and Snagglepuss. Recently, it introduced characters from Space Ghost, like Zorak, Brak, and Moltar. The latest development announces a significant crossover event called "Crisis on Infinite Mirths," featuring classic Cartoon Network heroes and villains like the #PowerpuffGirls, Mojo Jojo, and Dexter.
Since launching in 2021, Jellystone has reimagined Hanna-Barbera's characters in comedic scenarios and has even parodied anime classics. The show continues to stream on MAX, bringing together characters in a quirky town setting.

1st Jellystone Drabble I did
Okay so basically in the episode “The Brave Little Daddy”, Huckleberry Hound said that Grape Ape has a mind of a toddler, so I want to expand the latter’s “toddler” side of him.
We cut to Augie Doggie’s house, when there is a offscreen muffled conversation between her and Doggie Daddy behind the window, then we see Augie leave the house and waves goodbye. Then we cut to the Mud Bug Cafe, where Shag Rugg is walking out of the door, waving goodbye to Maw Rugg, following by the latter wishing him to come back home for dinner. Finally, we cut to Yakky’s house, where she is seen walking out of the door and waving goodbye to Chopper, which the latter is doing barbell exercise and wishing her a safe stroll (while sweating and puffing in and out air).
Then we cut to the center of the town where the children meet and decide to go and play on the boardwalk of Jellystone(with a dock). They get on their swimsuits and started playing summer games. They are having so much fun, followed by a montage of the kids playing all sorts of games, “Ring Around The Rosie”,”Tag”, skipping pebbles across the sea, swimming, “Hide and Seek”. Then suddenly, they were hungry. But thankfully, Shag brought enough money to buy snacks and water. After they ate, they continue to play more games. One of the many games is a swimming race(whoever swims the fastest and touches the dock first wins a random heart shaped rock Yakky has found while skipping stones earlier).
The race started, with the kids trying to swim faster and getting to the dock first with a few laps. Then a bunch of waves and then bubbles start to form, the kids got thrown off course. Yakky decides to leave the water before anything bad happens, the other 2 agree.
Back at the boardwalk, they decide to climb up to the top of a building to relax(look at the clouds) and/or still play their games(While taking the rock with them). There were a ton of cloud shapes (heart, mouse, crayfish, rooster, tree, snake). Back at the sea, bubbles are heard and a shadowy figure with glowing eyes start rising from the water.  The silhouette then roared and went to Jellystone.
Back at the top, the kids were bored and decided to climb down and walk over to the wall randomly built next to the side of a building where the sun is shining on the wall. They decided to do shadow art, Augie made a shadow version of her dad, Shag made a shadow of a crayfish (in a pot), Yakky made a shadow version of herself lifting a barbell.
All of them praise each other’s art, but all agree it was kinda too easy, so they do complex art, Augie makes a scene of herself being kissed by her dad, Shag made his whole family making crayfish dinner, Yakky made a shadow version of herself dodging obstacles to get to her mom she made with her own shadow. They all praise each other’s art even more.
Then a huge shadow comes out and blocks out the Sun, causing no light to the wall, meaning no more shadow art. Luckily, the kids see the shadow, ran and hid behind the wall, but they just watch aside to see two gigantic hands making a ton of shadow art(banana, the silhouettes of the kids, etc.).
Impressed, Augie decides to praise the “artist”, but they were nowhere to be seen. However they see massive water printed footprints. They decide to follow the prints and found the site in a bunch of buildings. Curious, Augie decides to look behind, nothing. She sadly goes back to the group and announces there’s nothing in the site.
The kids sighed and left, but sense vibrations from the ground and hear stomping. They look up and see Grape Ape behind them, standing there, excited and confident to play with them. But the kids knew he was too big and strong. He calms down and just friendlily waved at them. They nervously waved at him back, then slowly back away to avoid conflict. Grape Ape, confused, starts walking towards them.
The kids made a run for it, looking for something to hide in (Augie - in the dumpster, Shag - in the trash can, Yakky - in a tree). Grape Ape,(earlier, he was counting on a building to 20) treated the hiding like “Hide and Seek”, and search for them as soon as he said 20 and he is about to say “Ready or Not, Here I come”. But, he heard the ruckus of hiding real quick in the alley, came over and expose all of their hiding spots. This made the kids run from their now exposed hiding spots. Then Grape Ape said “That’s too easy for me.”
They are now running, but Grape Ape did not chase them. Instead, he is hiding behind some stray buildings, waiting for the perfect moment for a game of “Surprise Tag” (it works basically the same as normal Tag, except the “it” hides somewhere random, where people run at random, until they hit the “it” zone, where the “it” hops up to chase and tag the player who stepped on the zone or anyone else running).
The kids were running for help, but they stopped at the group of buildings that Grape Ape was hiding in, but did not step on the zone.  They scurried around the zone, avoiding being chased. However, Yakky accidentally tripped on a small rock and fell to the zone, triggering Grape Ape into hopping out of the buildings, Yakky got up and got near Augie and Shag. The kids then saw Grape Ape jumping out of the buildings at such great height (for his body size) and screamed and ran around the town, Grape Ape then landed on the ground (lands on his feet), unintentionally causing a earthquake, and then ran after them.
Citizens are seen talking and walking, doing the usual. Then, they feel the vibrations of the ground shaking and they see Grape Ape chasing the kids, and ran for their lives. “Yay, more players!” Grape Ape said, excitedly, as he was chasing other citizens to tag. Huckleberry(tired, he is seen with a wrapped up back, sore eyes, yawning and holding a cup of coffee) was there the whole time, seeing the whole scene behind his window, while sitting on his bed, shocked and concerned, and then fell out of his bed from the vibrations and almost broke a bone. He was about to get his megaphone, then he thought about his broken spine from last week, so it resulted him not doing anything to avoid breaking any more of his bones.
The first person that end up breaking their bones while running from Grape Ape is Mildew Wolf (of course), he is tagged too hard and collided to a fire hydrant. Many of the citizens are either crushed or slapped into a building. Ambulance is called, Yogi, Boo Boo, and Cindy were driving to the scene (while avoiding getting their ambulance destroyed by Grape Ape’s hands), and took Mildew (and a few citizens) to the stretcher and into the hospital. Yogi and the doctors weren’t able to carry all of the people hurt all at once, so they have to carry them by the trips back from the town back to the hospital. Then Grape Ape’s massive foot crushed and slapped into the ocean (while crashing onto a few buildings).
One of the many people that got slapped is Wally Gator, which sends him flying and colliding to the window of Huckleberry’s city hall, and fell to the ground, landing on the stairs, and fainted because he is weakened. Squiddly inked, covering Grape Ape’s hand with black ink. Few of the citizens that have not been tagged just ran for their lives, which excites Grape Ape even more (destroying even more buildings doing so).
Huckleberry finally had enough of the ruckus and decides to reprimand the giant gorilla, however he tripped on his slipper, slides towards the window and collided to the window, causing his window to break and causing him to fall a great height, breaking almost all of his bones when he come into contact with the sidewalk. To add the salt to the wound, a few citizens are seen running (stampeding the mayor), followed by Grape Ape chasing them and he(unintentionally) stepped on the mayor. Finally, he turned around to tag him, and then decided to call off the game, then ran off to tag some citizens.  Yogi and Cindy (didn’t get hurt by the collision) decided to collect Huckleberry’s crushed body to the hospital with the stretcher and ran barefoot, following by Boo Boo grabbing the needs for a broken bone(skeleton). Mildew was calling out for the doctors to get him too, but he(along with the crushed ambulance)sank to the ocean. (Titanic style) All of the other citizens in the ambulance just swam back to shore. News was spread across television and on paper that Grape Ape was attacking the city. Snagglepuss was then seen on a full on body cast with his head being the only part not covered, telling his horror story behind his injury (slapped by Grape Ape) before fainting and falling out of his wheelchair with an “Ow” is heard.
Grape Ape then decided to just wanting to play, so he ran to the location where the kids are shaking fiercely, but he changed his mind and wanting to make the kids better by hugging. He tried asking, but the kids were still too scared to answer. So he just grabbed the kids with the palm of his hand and just hugs them all at once with his arms. The kids thought it was cute, then Grape Ape starts squeezing so hard to “squeeze the stress”, the kids start yelling at him not to squeeze so hard. Grape Ape then said that he is trying to squeeze all of the negative emotions out of their bodies.
Mr. Jinks comes out of the blue and told him to stop squeezing so hard. Grape Ape didn’t know what he is talking about, and squeeze the kids even harder than before. Mr. Jinks, now afraid he’ll be on the blame for the injuries of the kids and be on the angry hands of the parents, he gets Huckleberry (on a full on body cast with his head covered) out of the hospital by pushing his wheelchair to Grape Ape’s feet. The wrapped up mayor told him to let go of the children. Grape Ape, now almost defeated, puts down the children and leaves. Thankfully, they are fine without any broken bones (thanks to Grape Ape’s soft, bouncy fur), and ran towards their worried parents, (who were in the chase earlier, trying to find their respective kid) they hug their kids. Mr. Jinks was relieved and then told the mayor that his bones are pretty much dust and needed rest, Huckleberry then replied that he was okay with it, as he was pushed by Jinks back to the city hall.
Then, Grape Ape made a big comeback by grabbing the kids, placing them under his cap, and running, while singing “Pop Goes the Weasel” (tone deaf). The parents (particularly Doggie Daddy) were so mad that their kids got taken away that they chased after Grape Ape. Grape Ape just laughed(hopping on buildings, swinging on lampposts), Mr. Jinks saw the whole thing, he was about to run after him, but now realized that he would be literally sweating and exhausted, just to get some children.
So he ran to get Huckleberry’s megaphone and shoved it into the mayor’s windpipe and realized the wheelchair was motorized by Cindy, so he starts the engine and pushed the wheelchair to get it started. Huckleberry, rolling around his wheelchair, starts yelling so loudly at Grape Ape to get the children back to their parents. Grape Ape then turns around to chase the wheelchair (playfully) to the sunset, followed by the angry parents, then the iris closes on the sun.

I’ve been watching The Huckleberry Hound Show and have been developing a headcanon that before he became mayor of Jellystone, he was an actor. However, he had to resign after not being picked up for some time. Turns out people just weren’t as into his deadpan southern drawl anymore like they used to.
HES fine with that though, and loves his little town :]

Droop-a-Long Coyote - Guardian
Tumblr media
His life was one marked by difficulty from the beginning, but it never dulled his warm heart. Underneath the sleepy gaze is a fiery heart that burns for justice, and will protect those nearest to him—be it friend or foe. Droop-a-Long Coyote, alias, Guardian, supports from the wings.
Droop-a-Long Coyote, commonly nicknamed “Droopy”, is best known as an anomaly—in a town like Shadybrook, his magenta fur makes him stand out immediately, although if one were to ask the coyote himself, he doesn’t think he’s special. He always looks half asleep and when he talks, it seems as though his brain is half asleep, too. However, behind the gaze is a warm heart that bleeds for those who suffer injustice, and will happily lend an ear or a hug to those who are hurting. His kind personality was not eagerly accepted by the townspeople, who only tolerated his presence due to his family’s prominence in their small town. Droop-a-Long knew he was different, but couldn’t figure out what made him so—he has no memories of his childhood before age six, which is when he claims life started for him. So for years, he joined the populace in hating him for not being normal, a behavior that worried his younger sister, Betty, and gave his older brother, Drag-a-Long Coyote, Jr., the means to harm him. Aside from the occasional mishaps that came from his clumsiness, Droop-a-Long lived a relatively peaceful life.
A freak accident in his father’s store robbed him of both his peaceful life and his parents, which devastated him and his older and younger siblings—well, except Drag-a-Long, who was long since exiled and didn’t even come to the funeral. Even worse, Droop-a-Long’s mind was plagued with terrible nightmares following the incident, where he heard voices and felt horrible sensations he couldn’t describe. Finding no peace or remedy for it, he decided it was time for a change in scenery, which meant leaving the sleepy town of Shadybrook and moving to another town. A week after handling matters for his parents’ store, he came across an ad for an internship at the Jellystone Town Hall for a position to work alongside the Mayor. It did not pay much, but it didn’t require years of degrees. On a hunch, he went to Jellystone for the interview. The colorful and strange residents took some getting used to, but thankfully the staff of Town Hall was friendly. Plus, the receptionist, a tawny red fox, was rather cute. But he’s getting too ahead of himself. Thrilled with the results of his interview, he headed back to Shadybrook to tell his sister about the news.
He came upon a horrible sight when he made it to his childhood home—a shadowy and gnarled creature, like a thing out of a horror movie, was hovering over a body. His sister’s body, which was marred with blood. His rage overruled his fear, and he attempted to fight the creature, but to no avail, and was injured in the fight. He wasn’t able to tell if his sister had died, or if she was still alive, but he had one thought as the creature crept towards her, talons raised and ready to finish the job:
“Somebody…please…help her…”
A flash of violet light, blindingly bright.
A horrible scream, sounding nearly human in its terror.
The sound of metal crashing through the foundations of his house, almost sending him through the ground.
A few seconds of silence in the bright void, followed by a low voice. “Don’t worry. I will.”
At that, Droop-a-Long Coyote opened his eyes, and smoldering violet fire stares back at him. Before him is a blue-furred hound wearing dark purple armor, fire dancing off of him. His long black hair and cape flutter in an ethereal wind, his sword gleams in the limited light, and his muscles are tense with preparation.
Droop-a-Long couldn’t form a sound, nor move a muscle, too awestruck by this being who’d appeared out of nowhere, who’d answered his soundless cry for help, who was now chasing the perpetrator through his house, purple sparks dancing on his fingers. Although he dressed in armor darker than midnight, there was a strange warmth that came from the hound, a gentle reassurance that he would not rest until this monster paid his dues.
It was a moment he could never forget, even if he tried.
It was at this moment that Droop-a-Long Coyote bid farewell to his monotonous days…and embarked on a new journey.
It didn’t take me long to finish Droopy, but it DID take me forever to get his profile down! D8
Droop-a-Long’s supposed to be this story’s Shido Itsuka, lol, only difference is that he’s a working adult, and has a good relationship with his sister (albeit with more teasing/meanness that comes with being siblings). Oh, and he doesn’t have a harem of spiritual beings after him. Rather, those spiritual beings kinda want him dead or alive for one reason or another. As a bit of homage to Shido, though, I did give him a university like cardigan, which he wears while he’s working as an intern at Jellystone Town Hall. I think it looks rather nice on him!
Droopy’s also a lot more pragmatic than he is in Blazin’ Trails—while he’s still a sweet guy who’ll give you the shirt off his back, he won’t hesitate to choke you with it if he sees you hurting an innocent person. Unlike the male protagonists who spout some “I want to get stronger but I’ll throw myself into danger until the very last episode where I get some random power” BS, Droopy does train with Huck/Avenger I later on, and becomes a pretty decent fighter on his own.
Unlike what I did with Warmonger and Avenger I, I omitted the section regarding Droopy’s powers. All of that will get detailed in a separate post due to both the length of his profile, and well, spoilers. Let’s just say he gets them and learns about his true identity way, WAY later.
The tawny fox that flirts with Droop, and whom he gets a crush on, is @blazing-shadows’ OC, Diane Steelclaw, who in BT Redux is one of Ricochet’s exes. In this universe, since Ricochet/Denise is a thing, Droopy ends up going with Diane. ^^
Anyways, I hope you guys like this profile, and the pic itself of course!
