Maybe she's a pretty basic Cinderella, kind and sweet and forgiving, but I do just love this opera.

One thing the other Dragon Age games had, and I found myself missing in Veilguard, is the fun option of sleeping around if your character's into it. Like Isabela in Origins, or the visits at the brothel in Origins and DA2. Or how you go to Orlais in that one mission, and your companions awkwardly have to go for a walk while the screen turns black.

I wish we could have had a place like that in Minrathous or Treviso.

Maybe a late evening with Cida where she sways her hips on her way out of the room after a black screen and goes ‘Thanks for the fun Rook, don’t be a stranger.’

Or Neve makes a comment in a banter about how it’s dangerous to tango with the Threads after you flirt a couple of times with Elek.

Or the lady merchant with the art gallery in Treviso is willing to show you her private collection after you recuperate some of the stolen goods, only for Viago to make sly remarks about it the next time you drop by at the Cantori Dimond.

The appeal of these moments is how small they are, inconsequential since no major character is involved but… they are just fun options to have to build reactivity. Anyone got any similar ideas? Want to hear them!

If you help Minrathous in Act 1, when you start "The Cobbled Swan Case" quest in Docktown with Neve, you'll have a cutscene of Cida Cicadia singing on stage while Makal Damas gets taken away.

It doesn't happen if you helped Treviso instead, but you'll still meet the singer later. (Which is odd to me?)

The lyrics in english are:

I can't help but think this song once was about Solas & Mythal...?

Brazil launches Zero Femicide campaign

When launching the "Zero Femicide - No Violence Against Women" campaign, Women's Minister Cida Gonçalves highlighted that around 400,000 protective measures are issued annually in Brazil. The campaign seeks to engage the entire society in the fight against violence targeting women.

"Feminicide is a preventable crime. It is different from other crimes such as homicides, street fights, for example. Our goal is to involve the whole of society. We're working with various companies, women's groups across Brazil, and soccer clubs, because it's crucial to speak directly to men. The sports arena is especially vital for clubs to mobilize and spread messages to prevent aggression and abuse against women, which are criminal acts," said Minister Cida Gonçalves, in an interview with A Voz do Brasil, a program by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC).

On Wednesday (Aug. 7), marking the 18th anniversary of the Maria da Penha Law, which established protective measures, the minister urged women and the public to report incidents of violence.
