You know it kind of sucks to see discourse about whether or not me and people like me should exist. Like just the fact that it's even a question in the first place sucks.
#ramblings of an arrow#I really need to make more friends that just arent christian at this point#like I still love my religious friends very much#but the fact that its an actual question being asked and that the majority answer is no like SUCKS dude#like holy shit and yall wonder why ppl leave the churh in droves#why there are so few queer christians#like its so fucking difficult to exist in a space where your right to exist is up for debate#its exhausting#like even if you arent outright saying it you make it so obvious you dont want ppl like me around#that the fact that I exist is either abhorrent or just too awkward to acknowledge#also sorry not sorry that my marriage is healthier that all but like 2 christian marriages ive ever seen#my lesbian ass is better at having a healthy loving marriage and good sex than most of you will ever be#youre gonna look at me and tell me that its wrong? really??#can you look me in the eye as you treat my existence as something to be ignored or spoken about in hushed tones#oh hide your children I might corrupt them because I exist being a loving caring adoring spouse to my wife#you dont like to talk about us or acknowledge us unless its to debate our right to be#as if that should even be a fucking question in the first place#im sorry i just.... this gets exhausting sometimes#im not gonna apologize for existing or try to hide the parts of me that make you uncomfortable#I am queer as hell I am a dyke I am a faggot I am a tranny and thats not gonna change no matter what you want#I adore my wife she adores me and I never felt this level of deep abiding compassionate love in christian spaces#your love comes with strings attached even though I know you want to believe it doesnt

The Manasija Monastery also known as Resava, is a Serbian Orthodox monastery near Despotovac, Serbia founded by Despot Stefan Lazarević between 1406 and 1418. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. It is one of the most significant monuments of medieval Serbian culture and it belongs to the "Morava school". The monastery is surrounded by massive walls and towers. Immediately following its foundation, the monastery became the cultural centre of the Serbian Despotate. Its School of Resava was well known for its manuscripts and translations throughout the 15th and 16th centuries, even after the fall of the Despotate to the Ottoman Turks.
Manasija complex was declared Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1979, and it is protected by Republic of Serbia, and monastery have entered a UNESCO Tentative List Process in 2010.

Arceus gave us the infinite capacity for invention so we could build cars and bridges, so we could travel without needing to fly. I don't want to be rude but you should read scripture before you lecture people.
I have and nowhere does it condemn flying. It condemns hubris. You're the one who decided flying is hubris.

Dogwood and Azalea festival in Charleston MO
Mother’s Day is coming up soon! When mom, Lori Disque said she wanted to go on a trip I found a festival that fit the bill! My friend Annie Jansen told me about the Dogwood and Azalea festival when I told her of my longing to see flowers. Only four hours from home, it was a win. My sister Debbie Salisbury and I planned our trip. Then away we went. The three of us in Charleston. Arts and Craft

Homebound
The current pandemic has reduced attendance for multiple churches across the nation. Fears of getting sick or spreading disease to their beloved ones have kept many people at home on Sundays during the pandemic. As the newborn boomer era ages, more people are bound to lose the capacity to observe services regularly. Churches that offer online services have helped people stay connected and give them a lifeline when needed.
Weekend workers
Large groups of people have never had the opportunity to attend church on Sundays. For many, a nine-to-five job is not part of their lifestyle, but that does not indicate they are not curious about joining a community. A benefit to beginning a virtual church is getting people who have never heard God’s message before. Virtual churches that share archived speeches on their website permit people to listen to the message on their time. This opportunity is perfect for workers in retail or medicine who rarely control their schedules.
New church members
Do you ever wonder how many people your community has lost after only one benefit? Many people will depart your church without obtaining the help they need simply because they are too shy to ask for service. Friendly church members are a fantastic start, but without an online opportunity where people can get their questions answered, your church may lose the chance to build these relationships.
Share inspiring videos
People have come to desire more because of advancements in technology. Since everyone has a smartphone, it brings only seconds to lose concentration. The distractions are continuous with readers and social media, so it may bring more than your average weekly sermon to keep your congregations interested.
Allows people to re-experience services
A good speech has many layers, and every moment you hear it, you may catch something new. Online church websites that convey an archive of their addresses allow parishioners to rediscover old sermons after a few weeks or even months. People who attend a speech after having occasions that relate to it will be impacted differently the second time. This new variation on a past address can help individuals become closer to God and the church.
Encourages regular attendance
There are some Sundays when getting out of bed early to get to the community is a problem. Some weekends you would rather lie in bed and watch a speech in your pajamas. With a virtual church, you can provide just that.
Encourages online donations
The offertory plate is more delicate than usual, isn’t it? Fewer individuals have cash or bills on hand. If your church has not retained a text-to-give opportunity for parishioners, you have likely noticed a shortfall in funds. Online donation options give the congregation more convenient ways to give.
There are no downsides
Adding a virtual church is straightforward and doesn’t hurt your church. The time required to start a virtual church is limited at the start, and your community will appreciate the effort. In this day of 24/7 technology, a virtual church should be seen as necessary, not a nuisance.
