During Danny’s 30 minute lunch break he spends his time reading comics from Ghostwriter’s collection in the Watchtower employee breakroom. It took a while to convince Ghostwriter to even start adding comics to his library, but after a passionate rant about the history of comics the influencing media of the medium, a new library wing was added to GW’s haunt that was rapidly filling with comics from all across the realms. In payment for helping him realize the literary importance of comic books, Ghostwriter lets Danny check out as many comics as he wishes. On average Danny manages to read 2-3 comics per break and leaves them in the breakroom during his shift. (the security at the Watchtower is over the top and no one dares steal from other employees as it’d give grounds for instant termination. Stealing a comic book from a coworker isn’t worth losing a very high paying job). The alarm on Danny’s phone goes off. His lunch break has ended. Danny huffs in mild annoyance, he was just about to finish his third comic of the day. Oh well. Danny places a bookmark gently on his current page and heads out of the breakroom. — Red Robin was asked by a maintenance worker near the conference room he just left for a Justice League briefing to grab a multitool he forgot in the employee breakroom. Tim didn’t mind as it was only a small detour on his way out. The breakroom was the same as he remembered it to be. White room with a small kitchen area and cabinets against one wall, lockers against the other, and a Justice League mural on the back wall. Grabbing the multitool which was right where the maintenance guy said it would be, he turned around to head out. He was planning to walk right back to the Watchtower worker and leave but something caught his eye. A small pile of comics lightly stacked on a table. A pile of comics titled Red Robin.

Throughout the years, Danny and Ra's get into fights. Unfortunately for Ra's, Danny's a biter. Unfortunately for Danny, biting immortals are never a good idea. Especially when your own DNA is beyond messed up

Imagine the look on Ra's face when they guy he likes fighting shows up with a baby in hand and says, "congratulations, you're a father"

Repeat it two more times because Danny just doesn't learn

Ohohoho, now this is quite fun. And this could be completely new children, or, this could be the three Al Ghul children. Which if it is? Is hilarious. And hey, Dusan even has Danny's white hair and green eyes!

But seriously I love this. Logically, Danny should learn to not bite, in fact? He knows how to fight, and can do so without biting. He's just also a petty little shit who will go feral when fighting this one asshole [insert relationship here].

Even more hilarious if Danny shows up throughout time too. And it's not like they exactly explain to anyone on the outside of their [insert relationship here], which definitely leads to so many misunderstandings and rumors.

Love the idea if this is even a semi-normal ghost thing. Just, usually the mixing of ecto is done on purpose, and not usually having to be worried about happening via blood. But Danny? Is a halfa, meaning that he is half human. And if he bit anyone else, it would probably have no effect, except for the fact that the human mouth carries quite a bit of bacteria and en ecto-contaminated one more so. So for anyone else, biting is an actual good option, but Ras? Also ecto-contaminated via Lazarus Pit.

Which is a different type of ectoplasm, like comparing saltwater to freshwater, but is still ectoplasm. If anyone else bit anyone else, it wouldn't happen. But no, Danny just has to have the habit of biting his immortal sparring asshole of a rival-buddy. And said buddy better be fine with co-parenting otherwise he's taking child support.

DP x DC prompt where, somehow, Danny winds up in a thermos. Somehow, that thermos winds up locked away in one of the Justice League's vaults.

The energy that radiates off of it is powerful-- dangerous, dark, twisted, and dead. The magic users that interact with the thermos deem it unsafe to handle. They store it away, until they can better understand what they are handling-- but later never really comes.

It just sits, collecting dust, and the world outside moves on.

Years later, following in her original's footsteps, Dani becomes a hero. It's been years now since Danny disappeared and she's given up hope of ever finding him. The portal was shut down when the ghosts became too much to handle in Danny's absence. Amity has been quieter than it ever was, somehow feeling deader without the ghosts that used to haunt it so frequently.

Dani moves on-- all of Team Phantom does, with nothing left to anchor them to Amity Park. Even the Fenton parents shy away from it all, for once setting down their work, a little too late to fix what they missed.

Dani winds up on the Justice League. She doesn't talk much about Danny, if at all. It's easier to focus on the now, which Dani's always been good at. It's easier to keep moving forward than it is to think about what all she's suffered and lost.

Even without the Fenton portal, however, the ghosts of the Zone make themselves heard again. A large natural portal opens in Gotham and Dani finds herself the best equipped for the job. She never saw much use in explaining ghost weapons to the League before, always a little worried that it would endanger herself, but now the threat demands more firepower than she can give by herself.

Dani talks about the sort of weapons they used to use on the ghosts, recounting the Fenton thermos and how useful it was for capturing ghosts.

Someone remembers a thermos. Someone pulls it from the vault, and Dani takes it with shaking hands. It's the first time she's held one in years.

There's a familiar energy coursing through it and Dani feels like she might be sick.

She feels relief and anger in equal measure when Danny is at last freed from the thermos.

i was expecting the graphic novel to be like a basic episode, but as a comic, just with Vlad and Dan shoehorned in as phandom pleasers and nothing else, but instead it's like. 'You remember every episode from 15 years ago, right? good because we're picking up right were we left off and we're barely going to explain anything or introduce the characters to any potential new readers. also obsessions are canon now and we retconned the finale ✌️ have fun'

DP x DC Portal Collider

STAR labs has been abandoned for a long time, the particle collider was shut down after a series of system failures causing serious damage to the area.

Three years after its permanent closure, scans showed a spike in radiation coming off the previously defunct partial collider. It's assumed that something broke or reactivated and so the area is evacuated and the more durable members of the Justice League are called to come in and shut it down.

But in the center of the mess, they find a young adult with black hair and glowing green eyes frantically trying to keep the systems and monitors in check as inside a ring shaped section of the collider that had been jerry-rigged to the electrical wiring of the lab, a glowing green portal sputtered to life.

realizing i have. a lot of untapped trauma potential for clone^2 danny because i just Fully Processed Four Months Late the fact that his parents were capturing and torturing ghosts in the basement before he became Phantom. and the fact that he was on house rest for 2 weeks. during that time period. and he wasn't really leaving the house. he could hear their screaming through the floorboards

Some pointless but sweet thoughts:

Jason’s love language is food/sharing a meal: he brings Danny dinner every day so he’s sure he’ll eat. When he knows he’s having a bad day, Jason bakes, bringing over a new dessert for them to share. To him there is nothing quite as romantic as splitting an orange. He’s never once gone to the Manor for Sunday Dinner without a dish in hand. People rejoice when he’s in charge of the soup kitchen.

Danny’s love language is gifts/repairs: he’s always grabbing cool looking rocks and feathers and then just… wordlessly handing them to Jason when they next see each other. He’ll give larger gifts as well (a custom motorcycle, a nightmare gun, the actual library of Alexandria, etc) always carefully tailored to the recipient and with no explanation. He mends shirts as apologies and unclogs the sink as thanks.

When Danny joined the JL, they added the list of substances and weapons he was weak to to the system, with all of Batman’s contingency plans, just like every member of the league. They worked their way through testing other things that had the possibility of affecting Phantom, just to be safe, but there’s some things that nobody thinks to prepare for.

Danny is sent to deal with a large chunk of Kryptonite that crashed on earth and plowed straight through a city. He was closest and the fastest moving hero available.

When Phantom stopped responding on the comms, the heroes noticed immediately.

Nobody expected Kryptonite to drive ghosts absolutely mad.

one thing i find funny as shit when it comes to how vlad is interpreted is how in a lot of fics it takes me so off guard how emotionally intelligent he is. i think if anyone came up to this man and started to break down, he would just 🧍‍♂️. nothing else. that's it.

Dc x dp idea:

Klarion gets his ass handed to him by young justice so hard that he is on the verge of death. With what little energy he has left he creates a teleportation sigil before passing out.

When he wakes up he’s in the far frozen with teekl 1 and 2 next to him and a yeti and a boy slightly older than him across the room talking.

After talking with frostbite and getting to know Danny, Dani and Jazz he becomes a part of the Phantoms and by extension, a prince of the Infinate realms.

He’s still allowed to cause chaos on earth but he needs to have a way to communicate with frightknight or Danny and have both his now immortal cats with him.

The same old song and dance happens until young justice visit the Infinate realms and attack Klarion on sight only to be arrested.

Made some progress in Planet Crafter this week, lakes are at abt 30%, moved the lowest base out before it flooded, but idk if the next one is in danger or not (thankfully i already knew abt the flooding potential). And lots of exploring. Power is always an issue but i got a couple of nuclear reactors too now, hope nothing breaks.....

I got the vehicle builder, built a rover and immediately dismantled the builder in favour of a recycler bc I couldn't figure out how the get the upgrades i built into the rover. I kept the rover :D.

Launched a mapping satellite and did a lot more exploring. I'm enjoying the exploring and deconstructing aspect a lot.

It still feels like subnautica but all the elements are just strewn about more visibly.

Danny Phantom Crossover

Where Amity has been near abandoned for years, untouched and unaged if not for the destruction from long ago, when (GIW, Ecto-Contamination, the Portal, Whatever or Whoever) demolished it.

Of course nowadays it's long forgotten, a city laid to ruin, slipping from the minds of those that left. Until someone finds it again, and finds a place of forgotten dreams, the living dead, and a towering figure cloaked in red with a large needle-esque weapon to their neck.

There's cool lore in it and the way they've set it up they could totally have more after this one.
