So I have, after years of being a complete oblivious dumbass just realized one thing about Alfonse.

Well I have had my baby Day of Devotion Alfonse since the day he came out. He had been fighting with the squad and being one of my 5 husbands since I started buying FEH pass. I have even given him the coolest of seals made for armored units so he can move more spaces, and my stupid ass never realized this.

Alfonse: Understand me now!?

Me: Understand what? What is he talking about?

You see he shouts this while in battle and I thought he was telling his enemies something about friendship! NO he is trying to tell his summoner he loves them/ he/her/ you/ me, and I was too stupid to understand it XD

OMG I am so sorry Alfonse T_T I love you too my sweet sweet man!

PS: But at least I understood it enough that I did give him his present! ( the S seal) XD

Also...did you noticed how Groom Robin talks about Chrom's weeding but I find that sad and someone said blue roses are unrequired love. Then you see Fallen Chrom who obviously loved his Robin coming to Ask and encounters this sad Robin...I am shipping them so hard now!!! I just wanted Fallen Chrom to hug and to love but now I Want him to S support Robin! To each their own but as much as I love Grima I do not go for Fallen Chrom x Grima if it is the same Grima who destroyed his world because it feels to me like an abusive relationship. I have personal reason for it to be a big no, no.

But I also felt very warm when Robin says he feels jealous of the people around us. His art also hinting at him giving us the ring. At this point I think IS is making him our official groom- I am cool with it...at least until I get Groom Alfonse or Lif.

BTW!!! IT IS BULLSHIT!!! I have pulled 35 heroes form the fallen banner and none of them have been 5 stars! NONE!!! I want to cry!

It’s time.

I finally get to talk about Smash and the Zeldas :).

How this wacky little fighting game series represents the LoZ gals and influences them in Wisdomverse— explained under the cut!

Exactly four Zeldas make an appearance as playable characters in the Smash Brothers franchise, spanning different games and decades.

[OoT] Lullaby: Melee (Zelda and Sheik), Smash4 (Sheik), Ultimate (Sheik)

[TP] Dusk: Brawl (Zelda and also Sheik somehow), Smash4

[ALttP/ALBW] Fable: Ultimate

[ST] Phantom (a special case): Smash4, Ultimate

Funnily enough, there have also been four Links in Smash, although they’re not quite from the same games as the Zeldas.

[OoT/MM] Time: SSB64 (Adult), Melee (Adult and Young), Brawl (Young), Ultimate (Young)

[TP] Twilight: Brawl, Smash4

[BotW/TotK] Wild: Ultimate

[WW/PH] Wind: Brawl, Smash4, Ultimate

Now, Smash is just about as non-canon a game as Hyrule Warriors— and we all accept Wars and Artemis. And some Zeldas arguably have more of a chance to display their skills in Smash than in their own games.

Therefore, I’ve peripherally incorporated Smash into Wisdomverse:

Characters who have met each other in Smash will sometimes recognize each other from there, as if they’ve met in a vague dream. They may also forget. Such is the ephemeral world of Smash to its players.

To keep things fair, Smash connections and story will not be relevant to the plot of Wisdomverse.

Each mainline Smash Zelda also gets one of the three Golden Goddess skills from their Smash moveset to use in Wisdomverse, based on their personality and events from their actual games.

Charismatic, dramatic Fable gets to blow things up with Din’s Fire — like how Fable and the sages blast through Ganon’s barrier in ALttP

Steady, calculating Dusk gets to defend against attacks with Nayru’s Love — reminiscent of the twilight pyramid encasing her in Hyrule Castle in Twilight Princess

Quiet, stealthy Lullaby gets to teleport short distances with Farore’s Wind — like how Sheik (technically Requiem, not Lullaby) vanishes ninja-style in Ocarina of Time

And there you have it! Rebalancing the Zeldas, one skillset at a time :).

Extra:

For the truly dedicated folks, here’s a further analysis of interesting (and intentional on the part of the devs) Smash x Zelda facts:

Despite clearly looking like Dusk and not Lullaby, Brawl Zelda is able to turn into Sheik in both the plot of Subspace Emissary and in battle in Brawl. She loses this ability and goes back to normal in Smash4.

Despite clearly looking like Twilight, Brawl Link is shown with Navi in Subspace Emissary.

Wind is clearly Wind, and not Spirit, because he has the Wind Waker as a taunt in all three Smash games he shows up in.

Wind uses some of Legend’s attacks. And some of Time’s attacks. Wind is a dirty rotten move stealer (affectionate).

Phantom isn’t technically playable, but both Fable and Dusk summon a phantom to fight alongside them, and neither of them have seen a phantom in any of their games. Also, while their phantom summoning skill is recharging, they have a purple glow around their hand. Therefore, I’m inclined to believe they’re literally summoning Spirit Tracks Zelda (Phantom), like Robin summoning Chrom for his Final Smash, and you technically control her, so close enough.

In Melee, Young Link is clearly from MM, while Link is from OoT. This means Young Link is older than Link (just Time things).

HAPPY 12TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE PROJECT X ZONE SERIES!!! 🥳🎉

One decade and 2 years have passed. Wow. Despite the fact that the PXZ series is more than a decade old, it still feels new to me.

Now you may be wondering: Where did you first hear of this game series and what got you so attached to it?

Good question!

Here's my answer: It all started in summer of 2016, where 11 year old me was exploring through the Fire Emblem Wiki to know more about its characters, especially the ones that are in Smash Bros. 4, since I love Smash Bros.

When I went to the wiki pages of Lucina and Chrom, I noticed that they're a part of this one neat, little game called "Project X Zone 2." I had no idea what it was, nor did I know that it was a crossover game, but all I knew was that they appear in that game.

I've forgotten about the game's existence for year, until the Ace Attorney Twitter fandom made me remember it, since there was one point were they kept posting photos of Phoenix and Maya in PXZ2. And they even joke about how Phoenix is a long-lost member of the Mishima family LOL

It wasn't until this year, 2 days after my birthday, when I got into the series. And now look at me, almost a year later and I'm still SO ADDICTED to the Project X Zone series. And it happened all because I watched a playthrough of the 2nd game thanks to Chrom and Lucina's appearances there. And you all know I love Fire Emblem as well. And I certainly didn't expect to get myself attached to the original characters, especially Reiji and Xiaomu.

I'm glad to be a Project X Zone fan. I made new friends and got introduced to many different game franchises, specifically Sakura Wars, Resonance of Fate, Summon Night, Yumeria, Strider, Star Gladiator, and Cyberbots.

So...now that I've reached the end of the post, I have one last thing to say:

Happy 12th anniversary to the Project X Zone series! Here's to more adventures starring Reiji, Xiaomu, Kogoro, Mii, and all their friends from the worlds of Bandai Namco, Capcom, Sega, and Nintendo...hopefully!

Valentine’s Day In Plegia (Tharja x Fem!Robin fanfic)

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Robin said, twirling her fingers through her hair nervously.

Tharja laughed, unrolling the map of the halidoms and kingdoms. “Plegia is my home, dearest. Returning won’t matter as long as we keep our eyes open. Besides, I’ve prepared a special hex that’ll turn our enemies inside out, should they dare to approach us!” Tharja winked, then sauntered out of the tent, motioning for Robin to follow.

Robin laughed nervously, aware that Tharja wasn’t mentioning her dark hex in jest. Taking a deep breath, the tactician followed Tharja out into the bright sunlight. Chrom had told them SPECIFICALLY not to venture out into the Plegian towns while the Shepherds were in hiding in their enemy kingdom. But something about the way Tharja spoke managed to persuade Robin every time.

Sneaking out the back of their campsite, Robin silently helped Tharja saddle-up a horse they could both ride. The sun was high in the sky and the desert air was dry with merciless heat. Tharja mounted the steed, and Robin followed, sitting behind her and wrapping her arms firmly around the mage’s slender waist. It was best that she was the one in front, as she was a much better rider than Robin was.

And with that, Tharja spurred the horse into a full-on gallop. Robin held on tight and buried your face in Tharja’s cape to avoid the flying sand getting in her eyes. She smelled like an odd mixture of dried herbs and intoxicating perfume. Robin blushed, aware that she’d never had her body pressed up against the plegian-mage like that before.

Finally, as the sun began to set, the two women entered a small town. The horse slowed, and Robin dismounted, helping Tharja down. The town’s marketplace was alight with lanterns, magic torches, and many candles. Garlands of dark purple and black velvety flowers wrapped around the stalls. A low chatter filled the air and music played softly.

“Is it always this lovely?” Robin asked, eyes shining, reflecting the many lights.

“In these markets? Well… no. But you do know today is the feast of Valentine!”

Robin turned to Tharja, shocked. “What?”

“Yes. I know. Very sweet of me, taking you to the markets during a festival about devotion.” Tharja smirked, her sultry voice filling Robin’s head and leaving her in a trance.

“Mmm…” was all Robin could manage in response.

“Here!” Tharja said, pulling Robin over to one of the market’s vendors. “Try this necklace on, my sweet.”

Robin blinked, carefully taking the delicate bejeweled necklace from Tharja’s long fingers. She fastened it around her neck, spinning happily and showing it off. “How much is it?” Robin finally asked.

“50 gold,” the vendor said gruffly, “take it or leave it.”

Robin frowned, reaching to unfasten the necklace from her neck. “Ugh… We don’t have enough.”

“Nonsense,” Tharja said, waving her hand, dark purple smoke steaming from her fingertips. “We’ll take it for 30 gold.” She summoned a small but menacing looking spirit, cradling it lovingly in her hands.

“But that’s���“ The vendor’s voice guttered out when he saw the cursed spirit inching closer to him. “—Very reasonable…” he gulped, sweating.

Robin felt slightly bad for the man, but not bad enough to stop Tharja. Tharja dropped 30 gold onto the table, flashing the tactician a rare but mischievous grin.

On their way back to the place they’d tied up their horse, Robin sighed happily. “I can’t believe we got away with that!”

“It helps to have a girlfriend who knows a bit of dark magic,” Tharja said smugly.

“True,” Robin stopped in her tracks, pulling Tharja closer by her wrist. “Happy Valentine’s Day…”

Tharja leaned in, staring into the tactician’s eyes. “Happy Valentines Day, my beloved.” She rasped. “I hope you know I’d do anything for you…”

“I know.” Robin said, kissing Tharja lightly on the lips. “I’d do anything for you, too.”

Here you go darling! Once again, I am very sorry for the time I took writing this and thank you so much for your patience!

It all happened so quickly.

The Summoner’s lover watched in horror as her body was enveloped in blinding white light. Its shape seemed to twist and turn and grow, grow, grow – soon, it was a pillar as wide as a house and as high as the tallest  tower. Then the light subsided, and a new form was revealed.

Brilliant white and blue scales shone in the sun, arranged in a beautiful gradient as they moved away from the spine and towards the limbs. Strong, wide wings stretched outwards, enveloping the surrounding patch of forest in its shadow. A muscular tail slowly waved behind the creature, its soft motion creating a chilling wind that swept across the trees. Striking, apprehensive yellow eyes observed its surroundings.

A dragon. The Summoner had turned into a dragon, the Summoner’s lover numbingly realized.

The Summoner let out a pitiful growl she came to the same realization. Clumsily, she attempted to sit down and accidentally flattened a tree. The Summoner yelped in surprise, a sound unbefitting of such a majestic and imposing creature, further flustering her.

She was incredulous. How could this happen?

Alfonse

Alfonse and the Summoner sat underneath a large old tree by the cliffside, a warm summer breeze blowing gently through its leaves.

“Are you sure it’s alright, Alfie?” The Summoner inquired, fiddling nervously with a strand of her hair as she watched Tiki, Kana and Fae play. “I have so much paperwork to do… I shouldn’t slack off.”

“It’s exactly because you have so much work that you need to rest.” Alfonse responded, continuing to unpack from the picnic basket. “What was the last time you allowed yourself a moment of relaxation?”

The Summoner blinked. “Uuuh, I don’t remember?”

“Exactly. Summoner, please, you must take care of yourself. If you won’t do it for your own sake, do it for the Order’s.” Alfonse pleaded.

The Summoner paused to digest Alfonse’s words. Just as she was about to answer him, Tiki moved dangerously closed to the cliff’s edge, distracting her.

“Tiki!” she called out. “Be careful!”

The young manakete stopped just short of the cliff, beaming as she turned to wave at the Summoner.

Then, the ground underneath her gave out.

The Summoner was already running before she fully registered what was happening. She faintly heard Alfonse calling out to her, but the pounding of her heart drowned out all other sounds. Panic flowed through her veins, heightening all of her senses and focusing them on one and one thing alone –

“TIKI!!”

The Summoner barely saw Tiki transform into her dragon form and fly away from the collapsing cliff before the world suddenly went white.

Alfonse slowly approached the anxious dragon, gently calling out her name. The Summoner shook her head as if to wake herself up, having been broken out of her reverie, and carefully leaned down until she was face-to-face with Alfonse. Almost instinctively, the prince reached out to caress her snout, and the Summoner closed her eyes at the pleasant sensation.

“You’re a manakete…!” Alfonse breathed out in wonder, memorizing the shape and feel of her scales through his glove. He was in complete awe at his lover’s new form.

“I thought you said dragons did not exist in your world? Perhaps you’ve gained this power by virtue of being the Summoner…?” Alfonse wondered aloud. The Summoner opened her eyes at Alfonse's inquiry and let out another growl in an attempt to communicate her confusion-

- and was summarily interrupted by Tiki all but barreling into her. In dragon form.

Alfonse watched in horror as the Summoner was knocked to the ground by the smaller dragon. The same white light from before consumed both the Summoner and Tiki, before subsiding to reveal them sprawled out on the grass and on top of each other in their human forms.  Alfonse quickly ran up to them, followed by Fae and Kana, and kneeled down by the Summoner’s side. She groaned in pain and rubbed the back of her head.

Tiki rapidly raised her head from the Summoner’s stomach, wearing an ear-splitting grin of pure joy. “Summoner!! You’re a manakete! Like me!” she excitedly remarked.

The Summoner blinked slowly. Now, as a human, her short time transformed as a dragon seemed almost like a dream, but Tiki’s exclamation allowed the situation to firmly establish itself as real in her mind. “I guess so…” the Summoner said after a moment of silence.

“That’s amazing! Oh, I’m so happy! Don’t worry Summoner, I’ll teach you how to be a dragon!” Tiki cheerfully declared. The Summoner smiled and reached out to ruffle Tiki’s hair, eliciting a giggle out of the young manakete.

“We’ll help too!” Fae called out, Kana nodding enthusiastically in agreement.

“I’ll help as well, of course.” Alfonse stated, brushing a stray hair from the Summoner’s face. “I suppose a trip to the library is in order. There is bound to be information about manaketes there as well.”

The Summoner looked at her friends and lover and could not help but feel her heart swell up in joy. While the new experience was startling to her, to say the least, she already knew she would have all of the love and support she needed to learn and grow.

Chrom

Left. Right. Right. Up. Left. Down. The Summoner dodged and parried Chrom’s strikes, going through the motions as he had taught her. The impact of wood against wood rang out through the forest clearing, and the Summoner tightened her grip on the hilt in response to the recoil from when the swords met. The rest of the Shepherds watched as their leader and his lover sparred as they unpacked the food they had prepared for the no-doubt starving fighters.

After a few more minutes of fighting, Chrom halted his attacks and grinned, impaling his sword on the ground with a flourish. “Well done, Summoner. You’re improving greatly with each spar!”

The Summoner blushed at the praise and looked down bashfully. “You’re just saying that. I know you’re still going easy on me.”

Chrom shook his head and stepped forward, laying a comforting hand on their shoulder. “You know I would never lie to you. I truly believe you are improving. In fact, I think you’re ready for your next opponent.”

The Summoner’s head shot up in confusion. “Next opponent?”

With that, Lon’qu silently rose from his seat near a tree and walked towards them, grabbing Chrom’s wooden sword and immediately settling into a battle stance.

The Summoner swallowed hard. The prospect of fighting the silent swordsman had her sweating bullets. “Me? Against Lon’qu? Are you sure, Chrom?”

Chrom squeezed her shoulder reassuringly. “You’ll do fine, love. Lon’qu is a master swordsman. This is a great opportunity to learn from him.”

The Summoner nodded slowly, readying herself for the fight as well. Chrom gave her shoulder one last squeeze before joining the others.

“Begin.” Lon’qu uttered.

He was fast. Too fast. In a fraction of a second, he had closed the distance between them. The Summoner watched in slow motion as his sword cut through the air in the direction of her neck. There was no time to parry or dodge his attack.

As that last thought registered itself in her mind, the Summoner suddenly felt her body become unbearably hot and her vision start to blur. The last thing she remembered doing was dropping her sword to clutch her chest as Chrom called out to her.

The Summoner frowned at the memory and let out a confused growl.

“Summoner? Is that truly you?”

The Summoner turned at the sound of Chrom’s voice, leaning down until she was at eye-level with him to indicate she was listening. Chrom stepped forward and, with great care, laid his hand on her snout. “You’re a manakete…! That-“

“-Oh it’s amazing!” Nowi interrupted, running up to the Summoner and jumping up and down in joy. “Summoner, how come you never told me you were a dragon!”

“I don’t think she knew, Nowi.” Chrom offered. The Summoner nodded carefully as not to dislodge Chrom’s hand, enjoying the feeling of his warmth on her scales. “Now, how do we turn you back…?”

“I can help with that!” Nowi answered excitedly. “Okay Summoner, just think really hard that you want to be human again. Like, really hard! Oh, and think of how you look, like you’re looking in a mirror!”

The Summoner nodded again and closed her eyes, doing as Nowi had instructed her. Soon enough, her body was once again enveloped in the same white light, and Chrom felt her body change shape as she grew smaller, until the light dissipated revealing the Summoner in her human form again.

The Summoner sighed in relief. “That was scary- Oof!”

Chrom wasted no time in embracing the Summoner, holding her close to his body. “You gave us quite a fright, my love.” He admitted.

Not wanting to be left out, Nowi quickly joined in on the embrace, hugging the Summoner from behind. “Hehe, I’m so happy you’re like me Summoner! We can do all sorts of dragon things together! Oh, you’ll need a dragonstone too!”

The Summoner could not help but grin as she basked in the warmth of her lover and friend as a new chapter in her life began.

“[Name]!”

You barely had time to react before a pair of strong, muscular arms snaked around your torso from behind, lifting your smaller form into the air and twirling you through the grassy plains of Askr’s gardens. Your surprised squeals were drowned out by the joyful laughs of the Prince of Ylisse, the only sounds to be heard in the quiet, quiet garden.

“Chrom!” You cried, slowly joining the Prince in his fit of laughter, “put me down!” He gave you one last twirl before placing you back upon the ground, his arms still wrapped around your waist. “I don’t want to be away from my love for a second longer, especially since this war is over,” He pouted, resting his chin atop your head.

His words tugged at your heart strings, sending a pang of sadness through your heart. The smile on your face slowly fell, hardening into pressed, thin line. You didn’t know how to tell Chrom — you couldn’t.

How were you supposed to tell someone that the love of their life was going to leave them, forget them.

It wasn’t long after the Askr-Embla war had ended that Alfonse had pulled you to the side, pushing a scroll with ancient Askran text into your hands. He gave you a look of sympathy as he explained what it said, and you could only stand there and accept it.

“[Name],” He spoke, voice wavering as he fought an internal battle within himself. He knew the words world break your heart yet… you deserved to know. “Anna found this not too long ago in Vaskrheim, I’m… afraid that you won’t retain any memories once you depart back to your world. I understand if you wish to stay, Sharena and I would be more than happy to provide you with a place to stay.”

Alfonse was right, your heart did break. Yet, you gave him a shaky smile anyways, “I’ll be alright, Alfonse. You should worry about rebuilding Askr and Embla instead.” It took you long, way too long, to decide whether or not to stay. You wanted to, you really did, but you couldn’t just abandon everyone in your old life. They were waiting for you.

“Chrom, I…I don’t want to be away from you either.” Your arm moved away from your side, now resting on his arm that held you close to him. He seemed to notice the solemn tone in your voice and paused, “Is something wrong, [Name]?”

He sounded so confused, so lost. You were thankful for that somewhat, you would hate for Chrom to hear this news from someone else. You clenched your fist; you opened your mouth to finally spill your heart out, along with the secret that’s been eating you up inside, yet no words left your mouth.

You were glad Chrom couldn’t see your face, then he would see the frustrated tears fall from your beautiful eyes. “I’m so sorry, Chrom,” Your voice shook as you spoke, obviously trying to keep the waterworks from falling. Your hands found themselves on top of his own, before your fingers entangled with his. You turned on your heel, facing Chrom with saddened eyes.

You took a deep breath, trying to compose yourself. Chrom, on the other hand, could only watch as the love of his life broke down. “The other day, after we freed Bruno and Veronica from their blood curse, Alfonse told me something.” Although the words were unspoken, his gaze prompted you to continue.

“Anna, she found a scroll in Vaskrheim”— The name was vaguely familiar to the Ylissean prince, yet he was distracted by your gaze suddenly fixated on the grass — “Alfonse translated it, and he told me that I won’t remember a thing once I leave.”

The tension was so thick, you could cut it with the legendary Falchion.

“You won’t…remember me?”

The tears fell down your face the moment you heard how utterly heartbroken he was, “I’m sorry, Chrom.” That was enough to answer his question. The tears started falling faster than you could stop them. No, a voice told you in the back of your mind, you can’t cry. Not here. Everyone is depending on you. Askr needs its summoner—

The fact that Askr didn’t need its summoner anymore hit you like a truck.

When you finally tore your gaze off the floor, the first thing you noticed was the tears that fell from his own face. “You mean you won’t remember any of this? The nights we shared under the stars, our victories, our love?” He choked out, and oh god your heart was hurting even more now.

You could only nod.

He raked a hand through his hair, obviously overwhelmed at the news. His eyes darted around nervously, searching for a solution to keep you here by his side or at least preserve your memories. “Are you sure there isn’t a way around this, or—?”

You stopped him right there, not wanting him to grow false hope. “Alfonse said it himself, there’s no way around it.”

He seemed to resign himself to the fact that this was fate. He was always one to defy fate though, and he’d be damned if he wouldn’t defy it again. From the corner of your eye, you could see him fumble with his hands, catching your attention immediately.

He grabbed your hand with his left, placing a small, cool object in your hand before cupping your hands. “With this, I’m sure you’ll remember me,” He reassured, a broken smile on his face. He dragged his hands away, revealing a silver ring resting in your palms.

You recognized it immediately; it was a ring you had gifted him as a proclamation of your love. “Chrom, I can’t take this!” You tried to place it back in his hands, but he simply lifted his hands in the air. “Ah, too late. It’s yours,” He insisted.

Hesitantly, you placed it on your own hand. It clung loosely to your ring finger, but still clung to your hand nonetheless. You looked back to Chrom, this time his tears were replaced by a smile. But a smile could only hide so much, you realized, as you saw the pain in his eyes.

He was trying to pretend everything was okay with a facade of happiness, and that hurt more than anything else.

You held the hand with the ring close to your chest, “I’ll keep it treasured forever. I’ll try my best to remember you, Chrom.” His smile only grew, “I hope so, or I may just have to follow you back to, er, what was it called…America!”

For the first time that day, you showed him a genuine smile.

“God, I don’t know how I keep falling in love with you over and over again.”

“I love you too, [Name].”

When you woke up you felt like complete and utter shit. The feeling of a hangover pounded your skill, yet you couldn’t remember touching a single drop of alcohol last night—or anything concerning last night for that matter.

You shot up in your bed, vertigo hitting you like a ton of bricks. You groaned in misery, trying your hardest to remember anything from yesterday. You were worried to find that you couldn’t remember anything.

You peeked around your room, finding everything the same. Your sheets were sprawled around you like every morning, the T.V. was still on from whatever show you decided to marathon last night, and the chinese takeout containers still littered your room.

Everything was the same, there was no reason it shouldn’t be, yet something felt off.

You brushed a hand through your hair, recoiling in shock once you felt something cool hit your forehead. Startled, you pulled your hand away, only to catch sight of a silver ring resting on your ring finger.

You studied it intensely, trying hard to remember where it came from. When nothing came up, you chuckled to yourself softly, “Did I get hitched or something last night?” You joked, flopping back down on your sheets. The sun was barely rising from the horizon, you still had time to kick back and relax.

You closed your eyes, lulling yourself into a quiet sleep. In your dreams, you could faintly remember a man with blue hair reach out for you with the brightest smile you’d ever seen. You reached back, and in that moment everything felt right.

(y/n): That may be so, but I have a responsibility now, and I have to live up to it. I admit I never had to take on a task this important back in my world and I don’t really know if I’m doing a good job.

Chrom: Well, I was coming over here to tell you that I broke the wall again-

(y/n): No! Please don’t tell anyone else. Everyone seems to see me as some sort of big, important hero around here. I don’t want them to see that the truth is I’m just another scared person who misses home. That would probably drop their spirits.

Chrom: I don’t see anything wrong with that. I miss Ylisse terribly. I’m sure many here feel the same about their homelands.

(y/n): Be that as it may, I still don’t want anyone to know. If you could just… keep an eye out for it, that would be great.

Chrom: I know exactly how you feel. When I became exalt, the pressure on my shoulders increased tenfold. But the way I coped was by finding friendship in my close allies and forming bonds with them.

Chrom: If you’d like, I’d be happy to be that friend for you.

chrom:

when you first lose your memories, he’s in shock. it must be some sort of cosmic joke that another one of the people in his life just so happened to lose their memories. but, he’s nothing but optimistic, and he doesn’t let it bother him for long. 

of course he’s disappointed that you don’t remember him. it took him a while to accept that you’re not playing some sort of joke on him. but he’s more worried about you getting better -- his feelings can wait. 

as someone who has been through this situation before, chrom is actually very good at handling it. he’s not a patient man in any sense of the word, but he is good at understanding and helping them get them back (if possible) and create new memories (if it’s not possible to get the old ones back!).

he’d probably introduce you to robin, because she’s been through the same experience! she’s good at talking you through things and helping you piece together little fragments you remember. chrom watches, and every time you remember something, whether it’s big or small, he gets so HAPPY when you come running to him to tell him what you remembered. 

alfonse:

is so utterly devastated when you lose your memories. it’s like he lost his best friend and he’s having to start over. on one end, he’s thankful that you’re alive, but he hates that this happened to you, out of all people. he would rather it have happened to him. 

he’s extremely patient. when you don’t recall an event that’s happened, he’s very quick to explain it in detail, no matter how long it takes. alfonse is pretty much at your side whenever he can be, trying desperately to help you remember something, anything. 

every little spark of memory excites him, and when you recall something big, he feels over the moon. sharena and anna often throw “summoner remembered something” parties in order to express how

he’s very bad at remembering boundaries. he has to remind himself that just because you and him used to sit close doesn’t mean he can do it now. alfonse almost breaks down the first time you lean your head against his shoulder at a war meeting because gods you used to do that almost every day. 

marth:

tries not to let things bother him for too long. he pushes aside all of the longing for you and turns it into helping you get those precious memories of yours back. you must be suffering far more than he, he tells himself.

he isn’t sure how to go about it, so he starts with telling you everything he remembers since you summoned him to askr. he recounts the stories all the way back of summoning your first legendary hero, to now when you were dealing with hel’s army. marth even leaves in the embarrassing stories about him getting wiped out by blue mages, just to see you laugh. it takes a while to tell the whole story, but your eyes light up every so often as you add in a fuzzy detail you remember. that’s the best feeling in the world to him.

sometimes, you find yourself getting frustrated that you can’t remember things, and he reassures you that everything will come back with time. and even if it doesn’t he’s sure that him and the rest of the heroes there will help you create much better memories. 

it’s so worth it because after almost a year of trying to get them back, you finally are able to piece everything back together and you run into marth’s arms, breathless and smiling wide because you finally remembered that you were in love with him. marth sweeps you up into his arms and kisses you over and over, the two of you crying happy tears because FINALLY everything worked out!
