I knew I had to find time to post after my early-morning Christmas party with the Losers; I’m on my way to meet @marihockstetter right now to exchange gifts with her! @stan-the-bird-boy doesn’t celebrate Christmas but he made a point of getting us all stuff anyways— thanks Stan! You're telling me these two aren't curled up on the couch under an old throw blanket Richie stole from Maggie when he moved out for college watching reruns of shitty lifetime holiday movies because they can't be bothered to change it (won't stop Eddie from complaining about how the plot is horrible and the same in every movie)? You're telling me they're not making hot cocoa and (slightly burnt) cookies? You're telling me Richie doesn't absolutely deck out the house for Christmas and make sure that Eddie gets wrapped up in doing it with him because he wants to do whatever he can to make Eddie make good holiday memories instead of the ones of being trapped in a house with Sonia Kaspbrak because it was just 'too cold' outside for Eddie to leave the house? You're telling me they're not kissing under the mistletoe Richie meticulously put up because it's 'tradition' (no other reason ofc)? You're telling me Richie isn't the king of gag gifts and also, somehow, the most thoughtful ones? You're telling me they're not wearing cringe Christmas sweaters (most likely Richie's doing, but Eddie loves him so he lets it happen. plus it's cold)?
