I woke up with a Buddie AU idea in my head - Celebrity Chef Buck and learning to cook YouTuber Eddie.

Eddie is still a firefighter and he has a little YouTube channel that he posts his attempts at learning to cook onto. He's got a modest following of like 25,000 people and it's more like a community than a following because people give him advice and share ideas with him (inspired a little by ANTI-CHEF's early stuff where he was very bad at cooking but kept trying.)

Buck is a full on celebrity chef who goes on cooking competition shows and owns a really great little restaurant in LA. His background is similar to in canon - he left home at 19 and traveled around, but instead of all the odd job he gets a job as a dishwasher and then a line cook and he works in restaurants as he moves across the country.

Buck is filming a cooking competition show (let's say it's Chopped) and another contestant accidentally starts a grease fire. Someone calls 9-1-1 and ten minutes later the 118 shows up.

By the time they get there the fires out (thanks to Buck and one of the other chef's who remembered that you should never put water on a grease fire). The firefighters mostly just have to deal with some medical stuff minor medical stuff. Everyone is fine and the 118 leaves and filming continues.

As a thank you for the save and for helping the chefs who had burns and smoke inhalation, Buck sends a thank you basket including some stuff he’s made and a few copies of his cookbook. Eddie takes one of the cook books and decides to make a series where he tries to make everything in Buck’s book.

Cue Buck’s managed (Maddie) finding the series and telling Buck about it and Buck falling more and more for Eddie while he watches him cook on YouTube.

(also at the end of every episode of Eddie's show he films the table and two sets of hands eating the food and the view hears Chris 'critique' the food but you never see his face because Eddie doesn't want Chris on camera until Chris is old enough to decide for himself.)

Au where Tommy left the army only in 2015(honorably discharged) and knew Eddie since the army. More over it's him who was the pilot in this helicopter that went down. During season 5, Tommy is the only one who Eddie can reach BUT because Tommy was in 48 shift it happens after Eddie's breakdown (Eddie thinks Tommy might be dead too when Tommy doesn't answer). Eddie sleeps when Tommy calls him back, but Buck answers and explains to Tommy without much details what Eddie needed. Tommy says what he would be really happy to see Eddie and share some his PTSD problems and ways to cope. So Buck and Tommy plans the surprise meeting after Eddie sees Charlie. Eddie ofc super happy to see another person he saved alive and he and Tommy actually were pretty good friends, but different states led to less and less communication until they stop and then Eddie just forgot he actually leaves in one city with Tommy since 2019. They start to hang out. Tommy definitely has good influence on Eddie. They work out, have sparings, talk about their share trauma and trauma from the army only army person can get and Buck happy to see Eddie thrive, but he also can't understand his fellings to Tommy, especially because he still in love with Taylor, right? Then why seeing Tommy is more interesting and exciting? Why Tommy makes him blush like Taylor never did? Why he feels so strange about this man?

And then 5x17 happens. Taylor's betrayl happens. Buck lives with Eddie and he sees Tommy more and Tommy makes some comment how Buck prefers couch in this house over warm bed with pretty girlfriend and Buck has to explain everything and Tommy just looks at him like 🥺 "Evan, do you really want to continue live with and try to build a life with the person you can't trust?" Buck comes home and breaks it with Taylor. When she moves out he texts Tommy

Then season 6. Buck's searching for happiness and "perfect couch". Tommy, Buck and Eddie strike friendship and dynamic with all three of them and Tommy with Diaz boys mock Buck about the couch. And when Buck explains it all Tommy looks at him with longing so huge,Chris, aka the only person with brain cells, do not understand how Buck can't see. At home he finds out his dad can't see it too, so Chris understands he will be the only matchmaker.During the Christmas in Diaz house, he successfully catch bucktommy under mistletoe, and he absolutely excited to see Buck's expression. But Buck can't understand what it all means? Is he attracted to Tommy? Does he likes Tommy romantically? Does he even attracted to men? Answers about attraction he founds quickly. But he's scared to touch his attraction to Tommy because he likes their friendship, because he made an idiot about himself when they only met and he's happy Tommy gave him second chance

So it goes like that till lightning strikes. Tommy is absolutely devastated. Buck is sad when with all the people around him keeping him out of his head, the one who's company he actually wants seems like lost his interest in Buck. They ofc meet at Diaz house and when they work out at Tommy's, but Tommy never hangs out just with him, only if Eddie is around.

That moment Buck meets Natalia and he sees her as the answer he can have about his death and what it means. Because of dated with Natalia and Eddie's relationship with Marisol, Buck and Tommy hadn't seen each other for months. They meet again during cruise ship disaster as Tommy now firefighter pilot and Eddie ofc called him. Buck is absolutely smitten as time never moved and he wants to hang out with Tommy again, but Tommy keeps his distance. They hang out rarely again when Eddie breaks up with Marisol and Chris goes to Texas to help Eddie stay saint and find his way to grief Shannon. It goes like that, and Buck tries hard to make Tommy his friend again, but Tommy tries hard to resist him till Buck says fuck it. i lost him anyway and kisses him.

Answers!!!

1. Sometimes! He doesn't a lot because Martin raised him to be respectful, but Aviva also accidentally taught him how to curse in Spanish so.... sometimes he gets away with it. (Martin tries really hard not to curse in front of Chris but sometimes it slips out and then Chris will never let him live it down)

2. Nope! While Martin does act as Chris' caretaker, and is more fatherly than a normal sibling relationship, Chris does not see Martin as his dad. Obviously no one would blame him for it, but Chris doesn't ever want it to seem like he's replacing or forgetting his actual dad. Chris was 8 when they passed, so while he doesn't have as many memories as Martin, he was old enough to form a parental bond with his dad. Unfortunately, Martin can never replace that. But Chris still acknowledges Martin as his guardian, and knows how much Martin sacrifices to take care of him.

3. If the events of Reprogrammed transpired in guardianship AU, Diego simply wouldn't have even considered taking Chris. In guardianship AU, Chris does not have a Creature Power Suit. He has a Creature Power Belt, which has far less capabilities. Diego most likely would take his chances with trying to reprogram Martin's suit. Not to mention Chris is like 14, Diego would just consider him a nuisance at most and leave him alone. (Also I'm standing firm on the belief that this Chris would solo Diego. He'd get so pissed off from being overlooked LOL)

4. I think I've talked about this before but I can't find the post rn so I'll answer again! Basically Diego uses mental and emotional manipulation to seem more powerful than he actually is. He most likely would use Chris and Martin against each other in order to keep them in-line. It would take him a little to figure out, because Diego only thinks about himself, so he assumes everyone else is selfish too. But once he realizes that Chris and Martin care more about others than themselves, he would absolutely use it to his advantage. Unfortunately it would also be his downfall... It's easier to break someone down in solitude. If both of the brothers were in danger, they would both be working just as hard to save the other.

See your first mistake is assuming Noah would ever give up an oppertunity to shit-talk someone. /j

But for real, if Noah did clarify that he doesn't dislike Alejandro but does distrust him, I can't see things playing out too differently from canon - save for Alejandro being a bit less openly hostile towards him post-challenge. Noah would still be eliminated, because having a teammate who distrusts him doesn't align with Alejandro's game plan.

Especially if Noah divulges why he doesn't trust Alejandro. If Noah tries to out the fact that Alejandro isn't as altruistic as he wants to appear, that makes Noah himself a direct threat to Alejandro's plans and schemes. Again, he'd be eliminated as soon as possible.

Regardless of any potential feelings between the two, Alejandro can and would always prioritise the competition over any budding relationship he has with Noah... at least in London. Further on in the competition, if/when the two of them have gotten to know each other better (and when mutual feelings have had time to grow and develop) it's a different story.

It would, however, mean there's a lot less bad blood between the two post series. At least on Alejandro's end. If anything, he'd probably have a smidge of respect for Noah, since he's one of the few people who had caught on to Alejandro's false geniality pre-merge and/or pre-elimination.

Meanwhile Noah would still be justifyably salty that Alejandro got him eliminated, but I imagine he'd pin most of the blame on himself. After all, it was his big mouth that once again dropped him into hot water with his team. Plus, in this scenario, Noah admits that he does like Alejandro, so even considering his elimination I doubt Noah would be too upset with Alejandro himself.

So, in the case of this hypothetical AU, I'd suggest that the main meat of the story here would be post-World Tour, which plays out canonically (or as close to canonically as you'd like). Alejandro gets Drama Machine'd, and Noah - as one of the few people in the cast who doesn't actively hate Alejandro - questions his whereabouts when he fails to show up on the cruise boat the Gen 1 cast are seen on at the beginning of RotI.

He's likely the only person to do so since, barring Heather, Noah's one of the select few who Alejandro didn't royally fuck over. Not directly, at least. And Heather's too preoccupied with the loss of her million to think about Alejandro's wellbeing. And Chris tells him straight; the robot on the cruise ship? Alejandro's chilling in there, healing from the lava burns in almost complete isolation.

Noah is understandably horrified. He's even more horrified when Chris reveals that the Burromuertos signed over custodial rights for Alejandro and disowned him, so Chris is full within his legal rights to keep Alejandro in the Drama Machine for however long he deems fit. Unfortunately, he's also sworn to secrecy about the whole deal; Chris can't have Alejandro's situation reaching the press, it'd be bad for the show's publicity. (Add some legal jargon here, or something about non-disclosure agreements being in the casts' contracts, or whatever.)

But he can't just leave alejandro to suffer in an indefinite mechanical imprisonment. So Noah bargains his way back into his old position as a PA, if only to keep tabs on Alejandro's wellbeing.

Something something you end up with one of those Assistant Noah x Drama Machine Alejandro AUs, which eventually evolves into a "Noah works as an assistant on All-stars" AU, or whatever.

Island of Slaughtered Victim Analysis: Ezekiel

I wanna do an analysis on each victim where I mentioned References from Original Total Drama, their connection to who found them and why their death fits them.

Ezekiel is the first victim who is murdered by the unknown killer in Horror Au Island of the slaughtered. He was cut into pieces where his body parts are scattered and hidden around the island. Geoff, another character finds Ezekiel's head which was located under his bunkbed. It's also implied that his other body parts is in the kitchen cabinet, on a lifeguard chair and in a tree hole.

When Ezekiel was found murdered, it pretty much kicks off everything. Chris decides to abandoned the other 21 campers on the island with not only a killer but also a dead body whom most likely never saw a dead body in their life.

There are certain point in times where Chris would leave the campers alone with Ezekiel due to the conditions he was living in during World Tour. In London, Chris uses Ezekiel to dressed up as a Jack the Ripper and captured the competitors one by one. In Africa, he is hardly recognisable and is ends up getting released where the other final five have to track him down. In Revenge of the Island, the new cast have to go to into a toxic mine waste where Ezekiel manage to get there. In the 100th episode, Chris is kidnapped by Ezekiel and the competitors have to save Chris.

Ezekiel's body parts being hidden around the area is a callback to the hidden easter eggs whenever the audience or the characters spot him on the plane during World Tour. Him hiding in places also keep going through Revenge of the Island and All Stars. In Revenge of the Island, Ezekiel is shown on the yacht along with the original cast than later on he is in the toxic mine waste. In All Stars, he is put in the plane where Chris jokingly announced that he was part of the all star cast but ends up getting launched somewhere in the Island. Than he is found in the mines until he finds himself in the fun zone with the other mutants.

Geoff finding his head is connection to Island where Killer Bass are figuring out on who they should eliminate. Ezekiel makes a sexist comment where he wonders how Screaming Gophers even though they have more girls than guys. The girls in question are Heather, Izzy, Leshawna and Gwen. While many mostly the girls are upset with the comment. Geoff is the only one who tries to defend him by saying he probably doesn't think that men are smarter until Ezkiel tells him that's exactly what he is saying.

Ezekiel appears to be the most payful of the ghosts since he wants Chris and anyone who enters the island to play hide and seek but aĺso sadistic due to him being expert of the game.

And then he sees Eddie's face— the constipated look he does when he wants so badly to get out of a conversation but doesn't really know how and he's trying not to be rude. And Buck is so gone on the guy that even that face makes his heart beating like a trapped bird inside his chest.

They have a deal, the two of them. A deal that goes back years ago, when Buck started working at the same station as Eddie's and they got a bomb out of an ambulance. They've promised to have each other's backs.

Back then, it had meant to protect each other in the field. To carry each other through fires or to make sure their harnesses are firm and secured; to save a seat in the firetruck or to pull each other from danger when necessary.

With time and with a lot of moments shared between them, their promise had grown. It slowly evolved into something so much bigger than any of them could've predicted when they first met. It turned into keeping Eddie's favorite beer in his fridge or to drive him to pick up Chris from school after a busy, tiring shift. Or to pick up Eddie's sisters from the airport when they came to visit.

Their promise, reassurance, vow, oath of having each other's backs, turned into late night conversations and outings to the zoo, going to PTA meetings and to school events. It had meant to hold each other's hands— like when Eddie never dropped his while a fire truck was on top of Buck's leg and he was screaming in agonizing, all consuming pain. Or when he stayed every night at the hospital, next to Buck's bed and sleeping in an uncomfortable plastic chair.

And, as of a few weeks ago, having each other's backs means Eddie having his awkward blind dates that Tía Pepa sets him up in, in Bobby and Buck's restaurant. It means Buck having to watch the love of his life go on date, after date, after date, after date.

It means going and saving Eddie when the date turns out badly and he does that constipated, weird face. Eddie is still going mostly to appease Tía Pepa, as far as Buck knows. He hasn't mentioned liking anyone or wanting to genuinely, truly date. But Buck has this tightening in his chest everytime he sees Eddie walk in with a date on his arm. He lives in terror of one day not having Eddie beg him with his eyes to save him, to find an excuse to end the date in some way. He lives in fear of Eddie someday actually liking someone and falling in love.

He'd like to figure out how to make a move himself before that happens but it's been years and he can't ever quite find the right words. (Sometimes, in his darkest and most insecure moments, he doubts he ever will.)

Buck knew he was right, and that if he could go back, he’d no doubt do the same thing. But he still hated it, still had regrets.

He shook his head. “I don’t—you weren’t there Eddie.”

Eddies thumb brushed beneath his chin, soft and endearing.

“Then tell me about it Buck, please.”

Buck found himself leaning into Eddie’s touch, closing his eyes at the warmth and familiarity.

You lost count at how many times you had to blink at the screen. The words on your laptop were starting to merge together. Groaning, you saved the progress of your work before making yourself some tea.

As much as you wanted, you couldn’t go to sleep yet. The last hurdle before your graduation, you dissertation was giving you more problems then you anticipated. Also, there was another reason that you were burning midnight oil.

You whip out your phone, scrolling through your favorites before hitting on Barbara’s number. True to her name, she picked it up on the first ring.

“Hey Babs, I was wondering if you heard from Jason? He’s supposed to be back by now but I can’t reach him.”

“That’s strange, he left the library half an hour ago.” There’s a moment of silence between the two of you and Barbara quickly fills it. “Don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll be fine. I’ll get Dick to check in on him.”

You thank Barbara, hanging up the phone. Jason was more than capable of handling himself, but the two of you had a roommate code - to always check in with each other whenever either of you had schedules late into the night. It was not like him to break the code.

Pacing up and down in your room, you decide to look for him yourself. As you were about to grab your keys and jacket, you hear the rattling of the doorknob that could only mean one thing. Quickly sending a text to Barbara that the search wouldn’t be necessary, you go to the door.

“Jason!” You momentarily froze at the sight of his bruised face. “What happened? Are you okay? Who did this to you?”

The barrage of questions made your best friend chuckle. “I’m alright. You should see the other guys.” He throws his belongings to the side, not caring where it landed. Jason makes a beeline for the couch, his large frame sprawled on the brown leather.

“Guys. As in not one.” You deadpanned, staring at him for answers. Jason gives a nonchalant wave, expertly dodging the hidden meaning behind your question. “Hey, could you get me an ice pack? I don’t wanna turn up to Mrs Rogers class like a panda. Not when I’m her favorite student.”

“Rub it in literature prince.” You rolled your eyes. Making your way to the kitchen, you extract the medical kit that you bought ever since you first met Jason. “Sit up will ya? Let me see how bad it is.”

He quietly follows your instructions, hissing every now and then when the tip of the cotton bud brushed over fresh wounds. You’re fixated on treating his injuries that you don’t realize how close you are. But Jason does. And he can’t help to admire your beauty.

He gazes at the way your eyes reflect how deeply focused you are. He notices how your nose crinkles when you apply the cream on his face and how your lips are slightly parted as you made sure you didn’t miss any injuries.

“There, all done.” You closed the lid in satisfaction. “Now, can you tell me how you ended up looking like our campus bus ran over you?”

Jason sees the look of concern on your face and decides against lying to you. No use hiding it. Maybe it was time to tell you everything that he had been desperately trying to keep a lid on. He takes a deep breath, preparing himself.

“Before you question me, yes I was studying with Gordon and Grayson.” He sees that you haven’t said anything and takes it as his signal to continue. “I left on time and I was just about to text you that I was on my way back.” Jason pauses, the mere thought of it making him see red.

“You know Chris Anderson?”

“Yeah,” you nod. “And his bunch of cronies from the football team. Why?”

“I met them on the way. Anderson thought it was a good idea to talk crap about you in front of me. And no, I’m not going to tell you what they said to me or I might just end up killing one of them.” Jason balls his fists. Although the blood was cleaned up, you could still see traces of bruising.

Taking his hand onto your lap, you hold it gently, rubbing your fingers over his palm. The repetitive action seemed to have calmed Jason down and he exhales loudly. You give him a reassuring smile.

“Thank you Jason. You always do so much for me.” You frown slightly thinking of the fact that this wasn’t the first time Jason had gotten himself into an altercation. “But please be careful. I don’t want you getting into any unnecessary trouble because of me. Those guys are just dickheads.”

He raises an eyebrow at your choice of words, causing you to shrug. “I mean what I said Jason. I know you can take care of yourself but what if one of them takes it too far. You know how they’re like. I can’t stand the thought of you being hurt.”

As the words fall out of your mouth, you realized what you had just said. Embarrassed, you removed your hands from his grasp, abruptly standing up. “Just… don’t do it again ok? I was seriously worried.” You attempt to make your way to return the medical kit only for Jason to hold you at the wrist.

Looking down at his hunched figure, you struggle to decipher his expression. Until he let’s out a huff of relief. Before you know it, Jason brings you to him, enveloping you in a big hug.

“This is so crazy.” He laughs. “We’ve been friends, roommates for half our lives and you had bigger balls than I had.”

You pause at his words, gently prying yourself from his hold to look at his gleeful smile. “Wait… are you saying?”

“Yes, I like you. I’m sorry it took several fights and a busted lip to tell you how I felt but I am in love with you.”

Breaking out of your stupor, you wrapped your arms around Jason. Enamored with his pine scented perfume, you buried your face into his chest, hoping that Jason didn’t see the growing blush on your face.

“I love you too you idiot.”

Jason only hugs you tighter, not wanting to let go. He does see your flushed face from the mirror, but perhaps Jason will leave the teasing for another day.

After all, he had all the time in the world.

Remember when I made a post yesterday about writing my first Stetopher fic? So since then I accidentally got three more Stetopher ideas. This is becoming a problem and I like to make my problems y'all's problems. So:

The Tate Sisters: A No Hale Fire AU where the McCall Pack forms one town over, while Chris and Peter get to raise Malia and Allison together. When the girls leave for college, they sign up under a false name to not raise suspicion with the local pack. That proves futile when both sisters find their True Mates (Scallison and Malira) within the McCall Pack. When Emissary Stilinski arrives at the Argent-Hale household to talk about the matebonds, Peter gets to inform his husband that he just found their third. Post date: August 13th.

What Kept Me Going: Post-Nogitsune hurt/comfort, where only thing that kept Chris going after Allison's death was the fact that Stiles was alive, because Allison died trying to save Stiles and they did save Stiles, so as long as Stiles was alive and safe, Allison's death wasn't in vein. Somewhere along the lines, that protectiveness turned into more. Chris' boyfriend Peter approves, but Chris thinks it's inappropriate. Until the couple learn that Stiles still blames himself for Allison's death. Possible Bad Friend Scott but I haven't decided just how angsty and how Petopher-monopolizing-all-the-comforting-of-Stiles I want this story to be. Post date: August 13th.

How Chris and Peter Got a Kitten: Vaguely post-series with married Petopher, where Stiles gets cursed by a witch and turned into a cat. Kitty Stiles hisses and claws at everyone aside from Chris, so Chris and Peter get to take the kitten home. Only that, after the curse is broken, Stiles still retains some... cat-like behaviors. Like crawling into Chris' lap for a nap. Peter thinks this is the best thing that ever happened. Post date: August 19th.

Shot Through The Heart: Basically I just want established Petopher with a really big competence kink. He even goes so far as to outfit everyone with a comically oversized net to catch him in.

The scene plays out really cartoonishly, with Noah hiding and dodging and outsmarting anyone who comes near him with a net in a Looney Tunes sort of manner as he scampers around the airport looking for places to escape to.

It ends up playing out as a huge game of hide and seek, just with twenty two seekers and one hider. A perfect oppertunity for shenannagins aplenty between not just Noah and the cast, but admist the cast themselves.

At least one person (cough cough Gwen) wastes their net on "capturing" Heather. Harold tries to set up a clever trap and ends up getting himself caught up in it instead of Noah. DJ tries to convince Owen to look for his best friend but Owen's so overcome with relief that he doesn't have to get on the Jet yet that he starts blubbering and pulls DJ into a bear hug, completely ignoring the makeshift challenge. Izzy's... Izzy.

So on and so forth.

Meanwhile Noah's given up scurrying around the airport like a rat and has retreated somewhere no one will expect him to hide; on the jet itself. It's genius (it's incredibly stupid). He makes himself comfortable in the first class cabin whilst waiting for Chris' notoriously non-existant patience to wear thin when, inevitably, no one finds him... or that's his plan, at least.

Unfortunately for Noah, he leaves his point of entry open just a crack. Not enough for anyone else to notice save for the keen eye of Alejandro, who follows the curiously open entryway onto the Jet to find the elusive asisstant lounging on one of the mustard yellow seats, typing away at the keyboard of his BlackBerry phone. He strikes swiftly, managing to catch Noah before he can even notice Alejandro's presence.

And that's how Alejandro ends up hoisting a net full of unimpressed nerd across the concrete plains of an airport, proudly displaying his victory to Chris.
