*16th Dec-Srimad Bhagvad Gita*
Without action you cannot stay and be idle. When the kartha bhaav remains you continue performing action. When you do for yiurself you are caught up in craving and aversion. But when you do seva it becomes a yagya.
Karma yogi shikshak: One who gives his 100% and not bothered about students
Dravya maya yagya- When you distribute food tha anyway belongs to god
When you are in knowledge you realize that everything belongs to god
When you empower someone thats the best making one self reliant. Freedom from ignorance is the purpose of knowledge. For a knowledgable person everyday is Diwali. Swadhyaya and Knowledge makes you realize that you are the lamp.
Just by reading scriptures without a Guru u cant get knowledge. In the presence of a Master this knowledge blossoms. Just surrender at the feet of the Master. Dont hestitate ask any question you wish. Sometimes all your questions drop in the presence of the Master. Ask anything that comes put naturally. Whatever is best for you that you will anyway get no matter what.
Soorow diminishes in the presence of the master. Guru is mohak attractive, so you can be free ferom all other attractions and attachments. You see all the small pleasures of the world appear trivial after you experience the highest. You will see all kinds of rasas and there is beauty in every ras. Even when Krishna scolds Bhishma Pitamah there is beauty in that.
You will experience contentment in your ownself.
You wont differentiate hetween Guru and your soul. You drop your ego and know the real self in the form of the Guru. There id no difference between you and the Guru. Only when you are free from all attachments can you experience this.
If there was darkness for 20yrs in a room, cobwebs are there so for light to come in that room it wont take another 20yrs. It may take time to clean the room. Do no matter how sinful a person is when he comes in the presence of the Master he becomes free from voilence. Just a glimpse of knowledge and meditation does the job.
Knowledge has souch importance and is impossible without a Guru.
Krishna stands in the role of Guru giving this knowledge. If u want to slap somone hold his choti and then slap.
Arjun who felt who knows everything and Krishna was his saarthi. Krishna also knew skilfully step by step he shared this knowledge.
When you pilut a stick in fire it burns similarly just with the touch of knowldge all your karmas and sanskars just burn away completely.
Anyone who does sadhana, the person who you were before you met Master and after are 2 different individual completly. Now life really has started in the real sense of term is what you realizw. Nothing is more purifying than knowledge of the self, mind becoming hollow and empty & heart becomes full of gratitude. Just the remeberance of the Master brings a shift in your conciousness.
At the right time you will recieve the knowledge.
If you want light to come keep the window open and at the right time. Be connected to the Guru& Knowledge.
At least sow the seed, when the right time cones it will bear fruits. So sowing the seed is your job and whatever is required will come to you at the right time.

DIWALI ..... THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
ARTICLE NO. 103 DATE 07.11.2021
Friends, A Very HAPPY DIWALI to all of you. This Diwali is a happier one since we are getting extended weekends to enjoy this festival with our family, friends, and relatives. Especially after experiencing the Diwali of 2020, this Diwali is really more beautiful. I know I am late in wishing but still, we are enjoying the Diwali holidays……
The festival of Diwali symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and right over wrong. It is an occasion of high spiritual value as it signifies the opening of our own true light which sparkles within us and sharing this glow with others as well.
The month of Diwali is usually October or November but people start preparing for the same nearly a month in advance. People clean, renovate, and decorate their homes and workplace with flowers, colourful glow lights and many fancy decorations to invite Light energies of wealth, prosperity and wellbeing into their lives. They also perform prayer ceremonies, light oil lamps (diyas), and candles. Beautiful colorful rangolis are an added attraction to this wonderful festival.
Diwali usually extends over a period of five days, and the main festival night of Diwali coincides with the new moon night. The actual festival starts with Dhanteras, followed by Naraka Chaturdasi or Choti Diwali, and then Diwali on the third day. Thereafter is Diwali Padva or Govardhan Puja on the fourth day and Bhai-Dhuj on the fifth and last day of the 5-day long celebration. Each day of the festival has its unique significance.
The best part of Diwali is enjoying the various delicacies. Even a fitness-conscious person indulges in eating during this festival. People enjoy homemade dishes like chuda, chakli, Shankar para, Besan laddu, Rava Laddu, Sev, and also sweets purchased from shops. A lot of gifts are received/ given to friends, relatives on this occasion. Gifting dry fruits and Chocolates have become a ritual nowadays.
Have we ever even thought that the common sweets which we usually consume in Diwali teach us a lesson.
· Lesson learned from GULAB JAMUN ……. We can be soft yet firm. Usually, softness is considered a weakness but it is not, firmness with softness can go a long way in achieving the desired goals.
· Lesson learned from BESAN LADDU…….. Many times in life situations are not in our favour, they pull us down, we feel that everything is finished. But if we can again gather braveness and strike back we can gain back what we had lost ( Visualise besan laddu as powder and then again in laddu form).
· Lesson learned from KAJU KATLI…. Always know your value. Respect yourself, love yourself, it is only when you realize your value others will recognize and value it.
· Lesson learned from our favourite BOONDI LADDU ……. Small steps constantly will definitely help us to reach our goals. Moving forward is more important in life.
· Lesson learned from JELABI…….. The shape, size, and beauty do not matter, all that matters is behavior. In the long run, people are remembered for their behavior.
Let us all enjoy the sweets and also this auspicious festival and remove the negativity inside us and attempt to elevate ourselves so that we can celebrate Diwali throughout the year.
LET’S ILLUMINATE OUR LIVES.

What is Diwali and it’s celebrated for?
Diwali is the festival of lights and it represents the victory of good versus evil. People lit small lamps made of clay. Known as ‘Diya Aur Baati’ these are one of the most essential things to celebrate Diwali. For this reason, some people also say Diwali to Deepawali which means the array of lamps (Deepak). The lamps represent that just like when you light a lamp the darkness goes away and everywhere you see is lit. The same way all the darkness which represents ignorance and worries is removed and light which represents wisdom and happiness comes into your life.
One of the main reasons behind the celebration of Diwali is that Lord Rama, Lakshman, and Site Ji come back to Ayodhya after completing their 14-year exile. When Ram Ji returns to Ayodhya, the people of Ayodhya are very happy and they light up the whole Ayodhya for the welcome of Ram Ji, Sita Ji, And Lakshaman Ji.
On Diwali Indians also worship the goddess of wealth, prosperity, and abundance Lakshmi Ji, and the god of knowledge and wisdom Ganesh Ji. Also, worshiping Ganesha Ji with Lakshmi Ji has a very important place from all religious, spiritual, tantric, and physical points of view so that Lakshmi Ji is pleased and gives us wealth and we do not have any difficulty or obstacle in getting that wealth. That’s why Indians worship Lakshmi Ji and Ganesh Ji on the night of Deepawali.
Diwali is one of the most important festivals in India with five days of celebration. But on the other hand, if you count the number of festivals celebrated in India it counts less. For instance, every nine days, there are 13 festivals celebrated in India. So, that’s why you know India as a place of festivals and holy places.
5 Days of Diwali Celebrations
Diwali is one of the largest holidays in India among all national holidays. And it’s celebrated all around the world by Indians. These days people shop for new thighs like jewelry, clothes, vehicles, etc. Diwali is celebrated in five days. Every day has its own rituals and importance. Diwali is celebrated for five day on October or November, according to Hindu Calendar. The names of these five days are, Dhanteras, Naraka Chaturdasi, Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, and Bhai Dooj. So let’s see how you can celebrate all these five days.
1 Dhanteras
Diwali celebrations start with ‘Dhanteras’. On this day people purchase some precious and important items like cars, gadgets, gold and silver jewelry, etc. doing this kind of shopping is the part of Dhanteras which help people to start their new year with good luck and prosperity.
In the evening girls make rangoli using colored sand on the ground which looks very beautiful. And everyone worships goddess Lakshmi Ji and Ganesh Ji for the good health, wealth, and well-being of their family.
2 Narak Chaturdashi
Narak Chaturdashi is also celebrated as Choti Diwali or mini Diwali. On this day people wake up and use teel tel (sesame oil) as a body lotion after that they take a bath. This will help people to cure skin-related diseases and it gives other spiritual benefits according to historic beliefs. And also see how Indians celebrate Diwali in India as well as Istanbul, Turkey. However, if you want to book your evisa for Tukey online you can contact us. After the holy bath, they wear new clothes which are shipped in Dhanteras, and get ready for puja and aarti of god. In the evening of Narak Chaturdashi, people light Diyas and enjoy this festival by brushing some crackers and enjoying these beautiful fireworks.
3 Lakshmi Puja
This is the third day of Diwali and everyone starts decorating their home to welcome the goddess of wealth and prosperity goddess Lakshmi Ji. people light up their home and every gate of their home. They use small ‘Diya’ made with clay to light up the house and place them in every corner of their home. This way they show their gratitude towards the goddess Lakshmi Ji. In the evening people do prayer and worship of goddess Lakshmi ji. And ask for their blessing and good luck for their family.
After completing the puja. People share sweets and foods with their family members and their neighbors. After that all the fireworks and crackers go one. And people enjoy this Diwali festival.
4 Govardhan Puja
On this day people worship Lord Krishna as Govardhan puja. The story behind this puja is that Lord Krishna is known as the supreme god and they are doing Lila in Vrindavan to teach the lesson to Indra, a dammy god. Is that lord Krishna is supreme god and Indra is not. Because the Vrindavan people do not worship Indra. Instead of worshiping a mountain named Govardhan who gives them all-natural resources. So they live their life easily in Vrindavan.
By seeing this kind of behavior of the Brindavan people Indra got angry. And as he is the god of rain and lighting he started heavy rain and lighting on Vrindavan for the last 7 days. Due to this heavy rain all Brijwasi ( Vrindavan people). Go to ask for help from Krishan and Vasudev’s house. Who is the father of Krishna and complaining about Govardhan puja?
Everyone is scared of heavy rain and blames Krishna. To not worship Indra instead of Govardhan. So, Krishan Ji replied, Govardhan Ji, save all of us and everyone started to follow Krishna and reached the Govardhan. Lord Krishan lifts the Govardhan with his nail of baby finger for the last seven days. And every Brijwasi is enjoying playing around the Govardhan mountain.
By seeing this scene and the child lifting the Govardhan mountain for seven days on his baby finger. He realized that Lord Krishna is the supreme among all gods. And every resident of Vrindavan starts worshiping Govardhan as lord Krishan Ji. And offering them 56 sweets and delicious food items known as ‘chhappan bhog’.
This is the small story behind Govardhan puja. On this day people used to make Govardhan as a small mountain using cow dung. This way people celebrate Govardhan puja and enjoy the Diwali festival.
5 Bhai Dooj
Bhai Dooj is a very special day for brothers and sisters. On this day sisters pray and worship God Dharmraj (Yamaraj) known as the god of death and justice. For their brothers long and successful life. After the puja, sisters do aarti of their brothers and do a tika ceremony. In return for blessings, brothers give gifts to their sisters.
