I went to Walmart today and found something I had seen previously on Instagram - Mini Verse Make It Mini Food!

I picked up two of them at $10 each. Each container has one of fifteen different foods for you to make. I got one of the Milkshakes (Minty) and a Pancake set (Chocolate Chip).

The food comes disassembled in adorable containers, which makes them great for display, play, and actually crafting! My favorite container is the little can of chocolate chips. I have a few extras in each container after making each item, except for the Whipped Cream. They're the perfect size for G1 ponies!

The actual craft is using UV resin to glue the pieces together. The instructions tell you to put the items outside for 5-10 minutes to set on a sunny day, but it was overcast today so I just used my UV light box, and it worked perfectly fine. I'm surprised to see resin in a childrens craft kit, though. I'm not the most precise person and I had to wash my hands off a few times, I could see this being a bit of a disaster around unsupervised children. The resin is colored appropriately for each dish you make (the "mint milkshake" is green, the "syrup" is brown).

I do really like the set, though! I plan on grabbing a few more in the future, I'd love to get the Lemon Tart or the Strawberry Milkshake. Hopefully we see future series from them, it's a very fun idea to be able to actually make your own miniature instead of just opening one. I could see this making duplicates fun, even.
