Anyway! You’d think that Baking would bore Bill and hope that the little triangle dream demon would leave you alone to do something so boring and human.

Nope! The little shit puts on a frilly little apron (something so evil shouldn’t look so fucking cute) and floats over to you to look over at the cook book you had splayed out across the counter.

Needless to say baking with bill is a disaster just waiting to happen because no actual baking gets done because Bill is too entertained by changing everything you held into something weird or disturbing.

The eggs hatch into fire breathing chickens with dragon legs and wings.

To bill it was hilarious but to you it was nothing short of annoying as all you wanted to do was bake chocolate chip cookies as a rewards for dealing with bill and his entirety.

You: are you finished? *you said as you shut the door behind the massive tarantula and locking it after sweeping it out with a broom*

Bill: why the sour-dough face cupcake. Hehe sourdough.

You: can you let me actually bake something without using your powers to interfere!?

Bill: boo sounds boring.

You: you’ll get the first taste.

Bill: deal!

So bill left you to actually do some baking for once but his uncharacteristic silence made you think he was about to do something and you were right, but it wasn’t until after the cookies came out did you realise what he had done the moment bill insists that you taste the cookies first instead.

You: you put maggots or worms or even black bugs in the cookies didn’t you? *unimpressed*

Bill: noooooo. *you raise a brow at him* Okay yes I did. *he kicks the air in defeat* you’re not fun.

Needless to say you start baking when Bill is away so that you can enjoy what you made but sometimes would come home to him in the frilly apron making something you were sure wouldn’t sit right with you after. You hope it wasn’t rat poison or anything like that but you highly doubt it cuz it was Bill you were talking about.

Hiiiiii I love all of these, tbf I haven’t really thought about their favourite ice cream flavours either but it’s fun! Here’s my thoughts. Disclaimer: I don’t really know a lot of American ice cream flavours lol

Isaac: he’d probably like chocolate ngl. A bit basic but alright. Nothing that stands out too much. I feel like he would also like vanilla. Either that or something stupid like bubblegum. He’s too done to care, he’ll get whatever he pleases lol.

Magdalene: something rich like salted caramel, or a very fancy vanilla. Rocky road. Cookie dough. Or all of the above, together. She has a huge sweet tooth and likes mixing and matching.

Cain: He likes it simple, so I guess vanilla could go. Or rum raisin because he’s an old man.

Judas: doesn’t really like sweets in general, so he doesn’t really have a favourite ice cream. If he had to choose he’d probably go with coffee or something not overtly sweet, like pistachio or dark chocolate. Always gets the smallest cone/cup available.

Eve: isn’t really one for sweets in general unless she’s feeling really down, in which case she’d eat a whole tub in one sitting. Likes chocolate chip, but when she’s feeling especially shitty she will branch out with stuff like caramel, chocolate etc. always with chunks tho, she loves chunks.

Samson: I know Americans make a difference between ice cream and gelato but I literally never knew what it was. Anyway Samson likes gelato. Probably cherry idk. There’s a super good cassata gelato at my local supermarket and I feel like he’d like that one but I don’t really know how to describe it lmao.

Azazel: another sweet tooth. I feel like he wouldn’t really have a favourite flavor bc he’d like way too many to decide. He’s always loved human food and is always down to try anything. I feel like he’d be interested in more uncommon flavours like popcorn (idk if its common over there, but I’ve never seen it here) or that raspberry and rosemary one i tried once. Or sea salt. WAIT almond ice cream with dried figs. That’s the one.

Lazarus: I have no idea how black walnut would taste. But I trust you.

Eden doesn’t eat, you’re right, but they might partake in the Human Activities from time to time. And when they’ll become human (spoiler) they’ll get to try a lot of different things! I feel like they’d have a very limited palate tho, kinda like a small child. So nothing too complicated, like strawberry.

Lilith: STRAWBEBBY one time I had a very good strawberry float with prosecco and it was so her. Fwendy would appreciate the cookie dough chunks tho, they can munch on them together u.u

Apollyon can’t eat :( but he’d like very basic flavours. There’s a flavour over here called fiordilatte that’s even more basic than vanilla, it literally tastes like milk, I think he would like that.

Bethany also strikes me as a mint chocolate chip girlie, I can see that. Lazarus knows that and always keeps it in the freezer so she doesn’t have to go without u.u

Jacob: mhmmmmmm very hard to figure out. I don’t really remember if he liked sweets or not, but peanut butter strikes that balance of not too sweet but still great so I can see him liking it.

Esau: isn’t Neapolitan like three flavours together mhmmmm he feels like a frozen yogurt kind of guy. With extra protein and fruit toppings.

So sunflower made Cookies…

Now Finn smokes when he’s anxious. But today was his Day off so when he saw that his love made delicious chocolate chip cookies…. He decided to indulge himself…….with 4 of them.

So sunflower is sitting there on the couch reading. snacking on there second cookie when they see their sweet honey Bee boy coming to the couch with a Absolutely zooted look on his face.

“Sunflower~” he slides on the couch wrapping his arms around there waist. “Hey Bunny~ What are you up too?” He nuzzles his face in there side “I’m just Mmmm just cuddling you~” they think for a moment about the tone in his voice and the look on his face. Before it clicked “..Finny~ did you eat any of my Cookies?” They smiled running their fingers through his hair “A few Mmm~” they thought about telling him but boyfriend cuddles are more important right now. They adjust themselves so they’re in a more horizontal ready from napping position. 

“Scooch let me hold you” he moves up and lays his head on there chest “Mmm your sOooO soft~” is tone was softer sleepier. He lightly lifts up his head to plant kisses along their collar bones. They wrap their arms and legs around him and nuzzle their face in his hair. “my favorite cuddle bug~” they felt him smile against their skin. A perfect moment made from a little mistake. Maybe sunflowers should make their special cookies more often. If it gets there oh so anxious boy this hungry for cuddles.

Galaxy's Edge Foodstuffs & Drinkstuffs Reviews!

So last month, I was able to finally visit Black Spire Outpost, aka Batuu, aka Galaxy's Edge, aka Star Wars Land @ Disneyland!

This is a roundup of photos + reviews of all the themed foods & beverages that mum and I enjoyed during our trip.

Note that I visited Batuu West, in Disneyland California. Florida may have slightly different menus, and I know that menus change seasonally too! My visit was in January, 2023.

Oga's Cantina

In the early morning on the very first day, we stopped by Oga's! We got some non-alcoholic drinks + some small eats to start the day off.

Non-Alcoholic drinks:

Memory's foggy, but I *think* the drinks are: 

Blurrgfire: Minute Maid® Lemonade, Pomegranate Juice, and Habanero-Lime

Review: Mildly zingy? but otherwise a pleasant juice drink.

Black Spire Brew: Cold Brew Joffrey's Coffee®, Honey, Falernum, Passion Fruit, and Citrus

Review: Probably the most questionable drink we had, but glad we tried it! The coffee + citrus gave it a sorta...sour? taste? and I'm not sure how I felt about that in my coffee! But it was certainly unique.

Blue Bantha: Blue Milk served chilled with Bantha-inspired Brown Butter Chocolate Chip and Coconut Cookie

Review: Realizing now we didn't get the cookie, sad ;_; It was ok, but idk it felt like it tasted a lot better from the Milk Stand! It was also kinda room temperature, though we *were* in the very first early morning round of people. Overall didn't stand out too much, but wasn't bad either!

Jabba Juice: Simply Orange® with Pineapple, Kiwi, Cantaloupe, and Blueberry Flavor-filled Boba

Review: A slightly mixed-juice but mostly orange juice with some blue popping boba! Was good in a normal, could probably make it at home sorta way.

Food stuffs:

Five-blossom Bread: Warm Pretzel Knot with Hawaiian Black Sea Salt, served with Calabrian Cheese Sauce

Review: It was super warm 'n toasty, surprisingly filling! It was a pretty normal pretzel and the sauce was a pretty normal slightly spicy cheese sauce, but it was still delicious!

Spiced Wroshyr Pods: Seasoned Edamame, Sliced Cucumbers, spicy Citrus-Gochujang Dip

Review: Ngl, these were just straight up plain edamame ^ ^;;; BUT the sauce was really good, preferred it to the pretzel sauce even!

I had another reservation at Oga's on a different night, and this time we tried some alcohol. Now, tbh I am not a huge fan of alcohol; I can drink it, but I just don't really like the flavor, and have never gotten drunk (nor do I really want to), and all it makes me feel is the vague urge to pee. But, I felt obligated to try something alcoholic at the cantina, so here's what I *think* we got!

Jedi Mind Trick (alcoholic): Ketel One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose Vodka, John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum, Bols Blue Curaçao, White Grape Juice, Lime Juice, and Grapefruit Bitters

Review: It was defs sweet? Fruity? But alas, Alcohol taste was strong for me ;_;

Hyperdrive (Punch It!) (Non-alcoholic): Powerade® Mountain Berry Blast, White Cranberry Juice, Black Cherry Purée, and Sprite®

Review: Got one non-alcoholic drink, and ngl it was definitely my fav drink out of the 3 ^ ^; Unfortunately don't remember much of it, other than that I was using it to cleanse the alcohol flavor...

Fuzzy Tauntaun: Cîroc Peach Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, and Simply Orange® topped with Tangerine, Pure Cane Sugar, "Buzz Button Tingling" Foam

Review: This was the most recommended drink by people we spoke to + blogs I read, so I figured hey let's try it. Other people have described the foam as "tingly," but tbh...neither mum nor I really felt it? It was very foam for sure, messy, hard to get at the drink without getting foam all over your face. Taste was pretty mild (+ alcohol, LMAO).

In conclusion: Kazu, u know u don't like alcohol, plus it's expensive. Let's just stick to non-alcohol next time and save our credits, yeah? ^ ^;

Docking Bay 7

I LOVED Docking Bay 7! It was surprisingly spacious, and perhaps because we went when it wasn't too busy, but there was never any trouble getting seating. With mobile pickup food was ready almost instantaneous, and the whole interior had such an awesome aesthetic with tons of cool design details!

Trandoshan-style Pasta with Braised Bantha: Chile-braised Beef, Buttered Garlic Cavatelli, Seasonal Vegetables, Zesty Avocado Sauce, Balsamic Glaze

Review: This is the green-lookin' dish! I LOVED this one, so much I went and got it again on a different day. It's pasta, which I'm naturally biased towards, but also a lotta meat and veggies too, and pleasantly spiced. It felt like a Good Food, while also being unique and interesting enough it felt sorta Star Wars, I really enjoyed it!

Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip: Crispy Chicken, Roasted Vegetable Potato Mash with Green Gravy

Review: Also good! But tasted a lot more "normal." It's a nice piece o' chickin floating in a ton of mashed potato gravy. Warm and filling, but didn't really feel as themed.

Drinks!

Moof Juice: Simply Fruit Punch®, Simply Orange® with Pineapple, Chipotle-Pineapple

Review: Another pleasant fruit juice! Gosh there are so many fruit juice mixes here! Not complaining bc I love them. Don't really remember too much about this other than "sweet."

Phattro: Gold Peak® Unsweetened Tea, Minute Maid® Lemonade, Desert Pear

Review: Another mixed juice drink, mum and I could only tell it apart from Moof Juice bc this one was mildly less sweet, more tea. Both were good!

Cold Brew Black Caf: Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream Cheese and Chocolate Puffs

Review: I actually really enjoyed this one!! Much more than the questionable coffee at Oga's. It's got literal cereal floating on top! One thing that we found was that it wasn't as sweet or well mixed right after picking it up (no duh), but if you wait for the cream cheese and cocoa puffs dust to trickle down (or just mix it), it's a lot sweeter and so much yummier!

Also from the Docking Bay:

Vintian Mineral Mousse: Banana Brûlée-centered Dark Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Mousse, Vanilla Chantilly, Chocolate Crumble, Cherry Garnish

Review: THIS THING. Y'all, if I had to pick just one food item to recommend from all of Galaxy's Edge, it would be this. Wasn't really sure what it was at first, and almost didn't order because I'm not a huge fan of banana flavor, but I'm SO glad that we did. Each of the blobs is a different flavored mousse, the banana being the largest, and i *think* the blue was Vanilla, pink strawberry, though those may be flipped. They each had a sorta shell like covering with soft mouse inside. They all tasted incredibly fancy and delicate, like very expensive patisserie quality, and each blob was so distinctive so you never got bored. I even liked the banana one, though I preferred the other two. The best way to eat is to take a spoonfull, and then scoop through the crumble to pick up as much of it as possible. The added crunch makes it even better!

Overall, this not only tasted phenomenal, but it had gorgeous and distinctively "Star Wars" visual presentation, and overall was so unique!

Milk Stand + Ronto Roasters

While the Milk Stand and Ronto Roasters are completely different shops and aren't even close, I picked up drinks from the Milk Stand for breakfast on our second day, so reviewing them together!

Blue Milk: Plant-based blend of Coconut and Rice Milk with alluring fruity characteristics

Review: The Iconic Drink. I hear that people have mixed opinions about this, but I actually really liked it—and it also tasted SUPER familiar. If any of you have had ramune before, the Japanese soda drink in a funky glass bottle that you can find at most Asian markets, it tasted SUPER similar. Perhaps part of me is biased bc my Japanese ass associates blue = ramune, but really, if someone made a ramune slush and maybe added a wee bit more citrus, this would be it. I also happen to love ramune, and slushes, so of course this was a win! If you want to taste ramune to see what Blue Milk tastes like (at least in my own humble opinion, backed by mum), make sure to pick up the "original" flavor! Overall this was super chilled and refreshing, I loved it!

Green Milk: Plant-based blend of Coconut and Rice Milk with zippy citrus and tropical characteristics

Review: I read some reviews that this was nasty, but I didn't think so, it was also pleasant. There was a bit of a strange, possibly slightly medicinal aftertaste, and it was also "milkier" than the blue so it felt less refreshing. Of the two, I definitely prefer blue, but enjoyed my cup of the green too!

Ronto Morning Wrap: Scrambled Eggs, Grilled Pork Sausage, Shredded Cheddar, Peppercorn Sauce, wrapped in Pita

Review: A very yummy wrap from Ronto's, only available in the morning! I felt like of the 3 wraps, this one was the richest, with a lotta cheese, egg, sausage. It was filling and super good! I wouldn't say that the food item itself felt particularly unique, but Ronto's has a super cool setup, so just being able to eat in the vicinity puts you into the universe.

Evening on a different day, we tried the other wraps!

Ronto Wrap: Roasted Pork, Grilled Pork Sausage, Peppercorn Sauce, tangy Slaw, wrapped in Pita

Review: The classic. I was expecting to like this one the most, and while it didn't disappoint, the others were actually so good they all sorta evened out? For being the meat option, it had a lotta veggies and didn't feel unhealthy, at least compared to my usual diet LMAO. I liked this a lot, and like the morning wrap, it was very tasty in a normal food sorta way!

Ronto-less Garden Wrap: Plant-based Sausage, spicy Kimchi Slaw, sweet Pickled Cucumber, Plant-based Gochujang Spread, wrapped in Pita

Review: Usually not a huge fan of fake meat, but this vegetarian option was actually really good! Of the 3, I think I might have even liked the flavoring best? It had a bit of zing to it, possibly due to the kimchi. Either way, I'm glad I was able to split these with mum!

Hard to say which of the wraps I liked most, I think I liked all of them around the same! None of them stuck out as Exceptional, but they were all good!

Tatooine Sunset: Gold Peak® Unsweetened Tea, Minute Maid® Lemonade with Melon and Blueberry

Review: Yet another pleasant fruity drink! Don't remember much about it, other than that I liked it, and it once leaned mildly less sweet than the other one ^ ^;

Meiloorun Juice: Pineapple Juice, Minute Maid® Lemonade, with Blueberry, Cranberry Juice, Lemon Juice, and Desert Pear

Review: THIS ONE. If I had to choose ONE fruit juice out of the tons I had, this one is my favorite. I want to say that "Meiloorun" in the name isn't biasing me (it may be), but no really, this one was genuinely so good. It felt denser? than the others, really citrusy but the flavors were really well mixed so it tasted like an all-new fruit, exactly what I'd expect a Meiloorun to be like! I chugged two of these lmao.

Got this on the final day, also from Ronto:

Destran Ice Cap: Sprite®, Orange-Tangerine Syrup, topped with Sweet Cream Cheese

Review: Wasn't sure about the whole "cream cheese in soda," but I'm glad I tried this because I actually really liked it! The cream cheese added a pleasant, well, creaminess to the orange soda of the rest of it, giving it a sort of ice cream float-like feel without the ice cream. Would defs get again!

Kat Saka's Kettle

Picked this up on the last day!

Outpost Mix: colorful blend of seasonal flavors (blend of Caramel and Chocolate-glazed Popcorn)

Review: Honestly just a pleasant popcorn mix! It was good, flavor wasn't too strong, pretty mild. Was a nice easily consumable crunchy snack. It says caramel + chocolate, but tbh I mostly just tasted "mildly sweet." I was hoping for the brightly colored purple/red mix that at least looks a bit unique, but perhaps that's for a different season? Either way, yeah, I enjoyed this but didn't feel it was particularly special ^ ^;

Aaaaand that's my review! I didn't quite eat *everything* at Galaxy's Edge, but I tried a darn good majority.

Overall, the vast majority of food/drink was super darn good and well worth the money! Some was more unique than others, but the quality was consistently high throughout. I did not eat outside of Galaxy's Edge my entire trip and felt very satisfied with that!

My standout favorites were: the pasta & mousse dessert from Docking Bay 7, blue milk from the Milk Stand, and Meiloorun juice from Ronto's!

I also got all 3 of the thermal detonator-shaped water bottles, but well, the flavor inside was just your regular Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite. Still cool souvenirs!

But yes, in general, just so many fruit juices haha. Luckily I do love fruit juices, and also I'm glad that all of the bathrooms in Batuu were both clean, spacious, *never* had lines, and were also super cool-looking. Because given the amount of sugar water I was chugging, yeah. I visited them a lot!

While there's a good variety of food on Batuu and I think they did a great job with the menu, there were a few things that I hope they expand on in the future.

First, while there were some options for folks with dietary restrictions, they were extremely limited. Unsurprising, as most of the food shops already have an extremely limited menu with single digit menu items total. But it would still be nice to see these menus be expanded in the future, or possibly adding additional shops so that something, somewhere might work.

Next, I felt myself wishing for more take-home souvenir-type food. Liked boxed cookies, chocolates, y'know? Sure, you could technically take home the popcorn, but it's just in a brown bag. Paul- He's the STAR of KISS. I probably wouldn't have gotten into KISS if it weren't for him. Everything I adore and want to be

Gene- I wanna listen to him talk while we share milk and chocolate chip cookies together

Peter- I have a soft spot for him. I think he can be really sweet and cute

Ace- Sexy, trashy, baby girl, sexy girl in hooker boots. Wanna bend over and smack that ass. He and Paul are my bisexual fantasies. BUT SERIOUSLY, The first guitar player that made me go WOW. Never got the hype about lead guitarists before but then I was thinking of 80s rock and 80's rock solos never resonated with me. His solos are iconic, not just shredding/mindless noodling. As someone who never learned how to read music, I think it's amazing he influenced many to learn. I'd love to learn how to play. Not to be in a band but I've always wanted to play a guitar. Also, I'd love to hang out with him. He's funny and bright. I think there's softness to him and I'd like to believe (coming from a fan, of course) that he's a good person. He also reminds me of my ex early 90s era....so I guess I have a soft spot for him

Eric C- I wish I could meet him. If I had to pick one member I could meet it would be him because I know he'd be super sweet

Vinnie- talented songwriter and amazing voice. Gorgeous

Mark- He did his job on Animalize

Bruce- Super sweet. He was the cutie of the group during revenge era ngl. Paul had competition.

Eric S- Seems really funny. got a nice tight body. seems every KISS drummer has a nice bod.

Tommy- Loyal and hard working. I can see why KISS kept him. Honestly he'd the kind of guy you want in your group.

7. What do you dislike about each member?

Gene- Condescending. I can see he has some views on things that I'd butt heads with him on

Paul- Overly critical of others, may come across cold. He scares me. y'all see his posts for new years???? He can come across very hurtful in his choice of words

Peter- Bitter (in the past it seems) and tbh some of the shit I read and heard that unfortunately was allowed to slide (sometimes even passed off as "funny" stories). It's a sensitive topic for me.

Ace- like Peter, awful things said and done that cannot be solely blamed on addiction which I'm very glad he recovered from btw. I'm honestly glad I never put this man on a pedestal and it's not just because "he's human like the rest of us". lol I love him but I'm glad I've been exposed to the bad early on this obsession so I don't have any unrealistic ideas about ppl, you know? I think I need to sleep with him to sort out these feelings lol

Eric C- I don't know that much to comment and feels almost unfair because he was taken away from us much too soon

Vinnie- stop scamming people omg. the insanity and charging ppl for memberships and you haven't released shit???

Mark- don't know about him. can't comment

Honestly I got some questions for Ace that's been bugging me and I know I'd never get them answered unless I knew him personally and had a real heart-to-heart conversion. Hard because I love Paul but he scares me. I think I'd need more than a day to get comfortable with him. I'd love to spend a day with Eric C or Bruce because they seem the nicest. Maybe I'd love to hang with Peter now. Gene, may be fun. He's a good talker. Though it be fun to get one-on-one time with Ace. I'd love a tour of all his tech and then we can compare and just geek out on technology.

20. How would you explain the band to someone who isn't familiar with KISS?

I don't know. Honestly the other people who answered this already gave greats explanations. So many pass judgment on them without giving them a chance. They're a one-of-a-kind experience. There will never be a band like them.

You’ve been really stressed about school lately. All of your teachers, except for one, for no reason at all decided to schedule all of your tests in a space of two weeks. And unlike other people, you don’t work that well under pressure, or at least not extreme pressure. Which means that school is all that you’ve been thinking about lately.

Because of school, you couldn’t really hang out with your boyfriend, Rafe. But he understands, even after dropping out of college.

Now today, you’re way more upset and demotivated, and that’s because you just got the results of your first test, and let’s just say it didn’t even go that well.

You texted Rafe onde you received the email with the results and he took a while to answer, not really knowing what to say.

Once he texted back, he just asked if you wanted him to come over. You, not even hesitating, said yes.

It didn’t even take 10 minutes for Rafe to ring your doorbell, and you, while hugging your fluffy blanket, walked out of your bedroom while looking at the floor.

Once you pulled your door open, your eyes land on Rafe’s, making him lose his smile, and frown at the sight, probably from your swollen eyes. He took a step closer to you and open your door wide so he can come in completely.

While your eyes stay on Rafe, he steps closer and closer to you making your mental barrier (to not have a mental break down right in front of someone), slowly crumble. Your chin starts to slightly shake as your lips turn into a pout, making Rafe close the front door without taking his eyes out of you.

His hands cup your face, cooling down your warm cheeks, and a sob escapes your closed mouth making a tear slowly roll down your eye and land on his skin.

You move your face out of his hands and collide into his chest, wrapping your arms around his torso and letting your blanket fall into the floor. You sob into Rafe’s black polo shirt and his hands slowly lay your shoulders before giving them a small squeeze.

The only thing that can be heard through your parents’ house is your sobs echoing through the white walls of the hallway that held various expensive pieces of art.

“I don’t know what I did wrong” You whisper into his shirt before letting out another sob.

His hand moves lower to your back and the other one over to the back of your head, holding you but not giving you an answer.

Rafe lets you cry into his chest as his hands moved slowly, as his way to show you comfort and that he’s there for you, but his face held a serious expression, a thoughtful one, even.

Rafe doesn’t know what to do. Before dating you, he never had to look for comfort in anyone or, even, comfort someone. The first time he broke down in front of you, you knew exactly what to do. You hugged him close to your chest and told him many times that things will get better and you won’t leave him if they don’t. He was in shock when you did it but welcomed your soft and sweet touch as he did what you told him to, let it all out.

Now, he doesn’t know what to do. People say actions speak louder than words, but he feels like hugging you is a very cheap action. It probably doesn’t even feel as comforting as when you did it to him.

Your voice plays in his mind as he gets too deep in thought: ‘You’re overthinking’ and he forces his way out of that trance.

“Let’s go to your room” He whispers into the top of your head.

You nod into his chest and quickly grab your blanket from the floor when pulling away. Once you two start walking, you grab Rafe’s hand and lay your head on his arm as he practically led you to your room.

Your eyes catch the sight of your bed and you let him go before walking and laying down on it.

Your urge to cry is way smaller than it was before but all you could think about was still that stupid test and its result.

Rafe lays down next to you and you quickly move closer to him.

“Do you want to watch any shows… Or maybe a movie?” Rafe asks in a whisper as you lay your head on his shoulder.

You shrug, completely silent, making him almost tense up. Did he just fuck up? Was he not supposed to ask that? What if you think that he doesn’t care about you being sad?

He stops his body from tensing up to prevent you from sensing it and turns on your TV. He quickly clicks on Netflix and searches for your favorite animated/Disney movie. And once he finds it, he quickly plays it as his way to show you that he cares, once more.

As the song of the entrance starts, your eyes lift from Rafe’s polo shirt to the screen, making a small smile appear on your lips. Rafe, since he can’t see your expression from his position, just continues to fill his mind with questions.

But that, thankfully, only lasted until he stopped hearing your sniffles.

He relaxes and lets out the breath he didn’t even know he was holding and lays his hand over your head, playing it your hair, but careful not to hurt you.

As one of the first songs starts, he feels you hitting your finger lightly over his chest at the rhythm, making his lips curve slightly. He then turns his head and plants a kiss on your forehead, making you take your eyes off the screen and look over at him.

Your eyes are still swollen but your expression is now softer, and you even had a small smile. He pecks your lips quickly and when he pulls away, you close your eyes and snuggle into his neck.

After the movie/your distraction ended, making your dark and deep thoughts come back, your heart sped up once more and your eyes slightly watered at the idea of all your tests coming back with the same negative grade.

Rafe cuddled you until you fell asleep and he knew that it wouldn’t take long for you to wake up once more. So, he quickly got up and grabbed his phone, unlocking it and dialing his sisters’ number.

“What do you want?” Sarah asks with an annoyed tone.

“I need your help,” He says while stepping out of the bedroom.

“What did you do now?”

“Nothing. It’s Y/N” He answers while running his fingers through his hair.

Rafe quickly explained everything to his least favorite sister and she sighed once he was done.

“Okay, Uhm…” Sarah starts, “I’ll send you a text of what might help Y/N, but- Don’t be mad if it doesn’t work, it just works on me and some girls. It might not work on Y/N”

“Okay, be quick” He answers before ending the call.

While Rafe waited for his sister’s text, he looked back inside your bedroom to take a look at your sleeping form. His phone soon vibrates, and he looks over to find the list over text from Sarah.

Rafe quickly runs down the hallway and grabs a spare key of the house before running out.

You sit up on the bed as your eyes open and don’t see your boyfriend. You quickly check the time, fearing that it was already pretty late, and you left him awake for hours until his boredom, but it’s only been half an hour.

The front door opens, and you frown while looking at the open door of your bedroom. Have your parents come back early?

Rafe quickly comes into view as he steps back in the bedroom and for an unknown reason, he is holding two grocery bags.

“You’re awake” He comments, making you smile slightly.

“I am, where were you?”

“Sarah send me a list of things that can help you feel better” He starts while walking over to the bed with the two bags, “She didn’t specify any kind of chocolate or chips or even pizza, so…” He says before turning the bags upside down, “I bought most of them, or- Well, some that I think you would like”

Various types of snacks fall onto your bed and you open your mouth in shock. He had bought various types of chocolate, chips, cookies and even cake.

“Rafe…” You say in a soft tone while looking up from your bed to him, “Are you crazy?”

Rafe looks down at the number of snacks and starts to think.

Your heart quickly squeezes at the sight of him overthinking and you sit up on your knees, cupping his face to make him look over to you.

“Is it too much?” He asks in a whisper.

“A little,” You say with a smile, “But it’s perfect”

Rafe’s expression becomes softer and you pull him to you so you can kiss him. You peck his lips various times before giving him an actual kiss, making him smile into your lips.

“Thank you for everything today. I love you” You whisper to him with a serious expression while rubbing your thumbs over his cheeks.

“I love you more,” He says before kissing you again, wrapping his arms around your hips.

You pull away to look over at your bed again, “I’ll need help with this, though”

What color was the last swimsuit you wore? I only have a black one. Is your dream job attainable? I mean define “dream job.” I’d ideally be a meerkat biologist if I was willing to live in Africa and could handle even mild heat, but I can’t/won’t do either of those, so it’s not obtainable to me. I’d also love to be a paleontologist if I could travel and handle heat once more, but again, I can’t. My only *attainable* dream job is being a photographer, which I am aiming for. I’d LIKE to focus on nature/wildlife photography, but that’s unlikely to be able to support me, so. Do you have to go to school or work tomorrow? N/A Have you slept for longer than usual today? Yes, but only because of my nightmares. I tend to take at least two (though sometimes one) hour-long naps during the day because if I wake up once during the night, as I usually do, I’m fucked because I’m very likely to have an intense nightmare. It seems like the medicine I’m on wears off with consciousness, I guess. I only allow myself to sleep an hour at daytime because my mother has noticed if I have a nightmare, it’s usually no earlier than one hour into sleep. Even then I still have them occasionally. Have you ever taken classes for a musical instrument? Recorder in elementary school was necessary for whatever stupid reason, and then I played the flute for years. Out of school, I took guitar lessons for a while. How NCT would say “I Love You” for the First Time (all 18 members!)

Taeil:  I think Taeil would want to make it a really special and romantic moment. I can see him using his best tool - his voice. He would maybe write a short song for you and surprise you with it one day when you were just out for a walk in the park. He’d find a nice shady spot for you to rest, and sing for you. He wouldn’t tell you, but you’d figure out that the song was about you because of how private and special the lyrics were. After he finished and you had time to gush about how talented and amazing he was, he would take a deep breath and take both of your hands in his own. Looking you directly in the eyes, he’d smile and tell you that he loved you. Even though he knew you felt the same, I can see him looking surprised when you say you love him too because he’s just a goof like that.

Johnny:  I’ve fantasized about this so many times in my head lmao. I think it would be a really “in the moment” type thing. You guys would be tickling each other or play-fighting and he’d end up hovering over you, both of you pausing to catch your breath from laughing so much. Your eyes would lock, inches from each other, and in a soft but confident voice, he would say he loves you. After you said it back, both of you would immediately go back to tickling/play-fighting like nothing had happened because really, it wasn’t a big deal to either of you. The both of you already knew how the other felt without ever having needed to say it. But, I think after finally voicing it, Johnny would tell you he loved you any chance he got.

Taeyong:  Imagine Taeyong in love. Wow. A part of me feels like he might plan something really specific and romantic to tell you. But I think what would actually happen is he would say it unplanned, in a moment when he felt like the both of you needed that sort of confirmation of how you felt for each other. It’d likely be when he was saying goodbye to you before NCT was about to go overseas for a while to promote. You guys would be hugging each other tightly, both trying to hold back tears so as to not make the other feel more sad. He’d be stroking your hair and whisper something like “I love you so much (y/n). Always remember that that’s true no matter where in the world I am.” Wanting to reassure him as well, you’d tell him that you knew, and that you felt the same.

Yuta:  I really think he’d be the most nonchalant member about this.  Not because he doesn’t care, but because he’s sure of your relationship, and saying the words is much less important than showing you he loves you through actions.  I think he would be sweet when he told you he loved you, but he’d be very forthright.  It would be during something really normal for you guys.  Like maybe it’d be while you were watching a sports game or making dinner together.  He would take your hand so that you would turn your focus to him.  “You know I love you right?” "Yeah, of course.”  “Good.” “You know I love you too, right?” “I mean how could you not love me? Have you seen me?”  And you guys would laugh and go back to whatever you were doing before lol.

Kun:  This is more how I would want him to tell me he loves me than how it would probably actually happen xD Imagine Kun sitting you down to show you some cheesy magic trick he just came up with. He’d know they always made you laugh, and he loved seeing you happy. After taking you through a bunch of random steps and probably making the trick seem much more complicated than it was, he would say “is this your card?” He’d turn over a card that read “I love you” in his handwriting. You’d be surprised by the twist-ending to the trick and when you looked up, he would be sitting there nervously waiting for you to reply. Not for long though because you’d say it back and have him engulfed in a hug in no time, letting him breath a sigh of relief that his joke worked and even better, you loved him too.

Doyoung:  Doyoung would have come over one day while you were working on something, whether it be studying, writing, painting... Just something that you loved or that was important to you. You’d be focusing intently on the task at hand, but from the corner of your eye,  you would be able to sense Doyoung staring at you. You would look up and catch him staring at you. “What?” He would just respond by simply saying he loves you. Seeing you focused and passionate about something would inspire him and make him realize how much he admired you. It was nice because one of the reasons you loved him so much was because of his passion and dedication to his career as an idol.

Ten:  Despite Ten being really confident, I think he’d be shy about admitting such strong feelings to someone, so he would want to practice. You would go over to the dorm to meet up before a date and another member would tell you Ten was still in the bathroom getting ready. Before you could knock, you’d hear him talking to himself. “I love you.  No.... Okay how about... I love you? Not that either... UGH... How will I tell (y/n) if I can’t even say it to a mirror?” You wouldn’t be able to contain yourself and you’d walk in and tell him you love him too. He’d be embarrassed that you overheard him, but knowing that you felt the same, he would say he loved you to your face without worrying how it came out.

Jaehyun:  The two of you would be out one night on a romantic date.  Just something simple like taking a picnic to a secluded area and staring up at the stars once you were finished. You would be lying side by side, your attention focused up at the sky.  I think you guys would be chatting about nothing in particular, and he would say something that made you laugh.  His face would light up hearing you happy, and he wouldn’t be able to contain how he felt.  He would tell you that he loved you out of nowhere.  You would turn to look at him in shock, unsure if he had really said what you thought he did.  He would turn to you, and his massive smile would be all of the confirmation you needed to know that he meant it.

Winwin:  I can see Winwin taking the letter approach. He would have to be very sure of how he felt before he expressed it. But I think he would still be nervous telling you. Writing it down in a love letter would be the perfect way to give him time to carefully think about what he wanted to say and get it just right. The letter would be hand-decorated with cute little drawings of things that reminded him of you like your favourite flower or his hoodie that you always borrowed. He would describe all the things he loved about you, and how amazing you made him feel. He would end the letter by saying he loved you. I think he would want to see your reaction to his confession, so he would give the letter to you in person. It would be so sweet and he would be so happy and relieved to know that from that point on, he could say it out loud without worry.

Jungwoo:  Jungwoo is so soft and cute wow. I think the first “I love you” would happen during an intimate moment, but I think you would be the first one to say it. It wasn’t that he didn’t love you, but he was just too nervous about saying it prematurely or making you uncomfortable if you didn’t feel the same yet. You’d be cuddling on the couch watching a movie with Jungwoo gently running his hands through your hair. Being caught up in the moment, the words would slip from your mouth without a thought. He’d be caught off guard at the sudden confession, but he would also be relieved because now he didn’t have to be nervous about saying it. He would reposition you both so he could look into your eyes before telling you that he loved you too and placing a soft kiss on the tip of your nose.

Lucas:  This smooth guy lol.  I think Lucas would drop the bomb over the phone during a late-night conversation.  You would be about to say goodnight to him and knowing it would be the perfect moment to make you swoon, he would tell you he loved you right before the call ended.  He would hang up before you could say anything back, knowing that he would be leaving you flustered. You would know better than to call him back because that’s probably exactly what he wanted you to do. So it wouldn’t be until you both saw each other in person again that you would take the opportunity to reciprocate his feelings (and hit him for being a jerk lol).  

Mark:  Mark seems pretty useless when it comes to girls ngl haha. But I think he would try so hard to make it a special evening for you.  He would ask the older members for advice and end up settling on a home-cooked romantic dinner.  He would have Taeyong help him cook it and Haechan would be the waiter lol.  There would be lots of cute gestures like pulling your chair out for you and holding your hand across the table.  After the both of you had finished dessert, he would take out and open a little box that had couple rings in it that he had picked out a few weeks before.  He would be nervous and stammer so much trying to convey his feelings, but he would eventually take a deep breath, and spit it out.  When you told him you felt the same, he would put your ring on your fingers, slide his on, and feel complete relief wash over him lol.

Renjun:  I don’t see Renjun being very nervous because he would feel so completely comfortable with you that there would be nothing for him to feel nervous about. He would take the soft and sweet approach - literally. I think he would bake cookies or cupcakes that spelt out the words “I love you” in frosting or chocolate chips or something. He would show up unannounced at your door one day, telling you he had a special surprise. He would tell you that you had to open it right away. You would take the package to your table and he would be hopping beside you with anticipation because he knew how cute it was. The scene would probably end with something cute like you smushing frosting into his face.

Jeno:  Jeno telling you he loves you would be an accident. He would know that he wanted to tell you how he felt, but he would have no idea on how or where. He would be texting his hyungs frantically, trying to get ideas on how to be romantic, but not overboard, sweet but not creepy etc. Then suddenly he would double back to the last message he sent (”I just can’t decide how to tell (y/n) that I love her”) and realize he had sent it to you! He would start spamming you with messages to try and cover up what happened and distract you. It wouldn’t work. You would call him out on what he said and he would have to confess that he texted the wrong person, although he really does love you and wished he could have told you in a better way. But it wouldn’t matter. You just cared that the boy you loved felt the same. The two of you would cherish that you had a funny story to tell down the line.

Haechan:  I kind of see two scenarios, but both start the same. You’d be playing a video game or have bet on a sports game or something. It would be so competitive and overly intense between you two. Whoever won would gloat BIG TIME because you're relationship was all about teasing and annoying the other. If he won, he’d say something like “even though you always lose, I still love you.” And if you won and were gloating, he’d probably say something like “even though you’ve never heard of modesty, I still love you.” He’d realize what he had said and immediately turn shy, before quickly trying to look serious and play it off like no big deal. The few seconds before you said it back would be torture for him, but once he heard what he wanted, he’d be a smiling, cuddly mess.

Jaemin:  Jaemin would go ALL OUT. You know how he just knows exactly how to make fans die at events? He would go even harder for the girl he loved.  He would somehow manage to get a practice room for a date, and would cover the whole place in balloons, teddy bears, a picnic in the middle etc.  It would look like a scene from a movie or something.  You would walk in completely surprised by what you saw, and ask him why he went to all that trouble.  Without a word, he would take your hand and lead you to the picnic blanket, gesturing for you to sit.  He would sit across from you and cupping your cheeks in his hands, he would say “I went to all of this trouble because I wanted to show you how special you are to me. I’m yours, and I love you (y/n).”  He’d flash his smile and based on how giddy you became, he would know you were his too.

Chenle:  he’d just yell it out and then you’d have to double back and make sure you heard him correctly, he’d have the biggest smile. Chenle wouldn’t care how or when it happened.  There would be zero planning involved.  You would probably be saying goodbye to each other after you had dropped in for a visit to one of Dream’s dance practices.  As you were about to walk through the door he would yell “I LOVE YOU, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!”  You would stop dead in your tracks and turn around to gawk at him.  You didn’t believe you heard him correctly.  But you would see him with the biggest smile ever, and the other members giggling, avoiding eye contact with you.  “You heard me.”  That’s all he would say, still smiling.  You’d break out into a smile too and drop a quick “I love you more,” before turning to leave, hearing the other members making fake puking sounds behind you.

Jisung:  Jisung is so charismatic but also such a shy boy haha. I think he would be DYING to tell you how he felt, but he would be so terrified to do it, especially since he probably isn’t the most experienced with love. He would probably end up telling you over text so he could hide behind his screen and take time to carefully formulate his words. It’d begin by him telling you that he wanted to tell you something important, and after a bit of coaxing on your part, he would send you a message that simply read “I love you (y/n).” Being overjoyed but not wanting to overwhelm him, you would send a simple response back to say you loved him too. And he’d probably reply with “really?” He’d be so cute about it. I think the next time you saw each other, he would say it directly, but of course in a hushed tone and while avoiding eye-contact lol.

Absolutely ▪has albert cared??? of course not. look at his boy. he looks fucking adorable. he cant take that sweater away from race even tho hes already stolen half the sweaters in al's closet▪one time race was half-asleep on the couch when al got home late from a graphic design workshop and he was in one of albert's sweaters▪al thought it was tje cutest thing hes ever seen▪he didnt want race falling asleep on the couch tho so he Scooped him up and put him down on their bed▪"youre so sweet albie,,,,,,,,, i love you"▪thats the first time either one of them has said i love you since they started dating?????? albert is Shook bc it feels so different now▪"love you too, racer"●these two 100% went through a taylor swift phase together and You Can't Change My Mind▪it includes the ones a lot of people know like shake it off, blank space, etc. but also so many other ones▪they have a whole ass taylor swift playlist but they never really delete it after they get past their phase???▪so al absolutely brings it back when race is going through a breakup▪so here they are. two teenage boys, singing/yelling along to taylor swift songs. ft. like 6 tubs of mint choco chip ice cream and 8 boxes of tissues▪race feels so much better afterwards????▪gives albo a lil kiss on the cheek ▪"thank you, albie"▪albert dasilva? blushing????? pshhhh. nahhh (read: absolutely 100%)●yall Best Believe race can bake like nobody's business and albert Lives For It bc he can barely bake a batch of cookies▪however, the only food race can cook w/o nearly burning something down is italian food▪so usually albert cooks▪but baking???? yall this boy CAN BAKE▪thats actually the reason albert starts falling in love w/ him LMAO ARE U REALLY SURPRISED▪literally theyre like 13 or 14 right? and race has baked a batch of brownies and albert is in HEAVEN when he tries one▪"i think im in love"▪"hahaha with me or the brownies?"▪".....the, uh,,,,, the brownies, duh"▪lol no its race AND the brownies but he doesnt totally know that yet●if youve read my more recent fics u might remember race's sisters▪if noT, he has 4 sisters ok. two older, two younger. he is the middle child. What A Life▪siblings from oldest to youngest: veronica, ilia, race, rosetta, elsie▪albert and race have been best friends since childhood so albert and race's sisters know each other really well. theyre all Pals▪literally???? race's sisters Love Him▪when they find out race likes albert they do not let it go. for a second. race is Actually terrified theyll expose him in fromt of albert one day▪best believe they go WILD when they find out race and al are finally dating ▪the first time albert comes over after theyre dating all 4 of race's sisters TACKLE HIM▪"HELLOOOO FUTURE BROTHER-IN-LAW"▪albert is so absolutely stunned afterwards and race is crying w/ laughter●these two swear. so much. its really funny yall▪once jack dared them to go a whole week without swearing and they didnt realise how hard it would be▪"albert you fu----- fabulous human being, you"▪"stop being such an a----- aDORABLE person, race, my heart cant handle it"▪its actually very wholesome but the week is hell for those two▪the next monday theyre both like "FUCK yes we can fucking swear again thank goodness"▪its a very swear-heavy week to make up for the last one. the boys are Really Amused●race is so full of energy all the time its actually kinda weird for albert to see him tired or drowsy before nighttime▪but he knows if he gives race any form of caffeine or sugar the boy will practically be bouncing off the walls▪so he chooses to enjoy his time w/ sleepy race while it lasts bc while its pretty unusual its also absolutely adorable▪race is even more cuddly than usual when hes tired/sleepy ngl and i mean,,,,,, albert isnt complaining▪al lives for the lil smile race has on his face when hes tired and albert has just kissed his forehead or something. its so cute he swears hes gonna explode●albert is Wonderful at poetry yall cant try me on this i will take it to my grave▪race has no idea about this until they have to write a poem for english▪very open-ended assignment. a poem of any style about anything you want to write about▪albert says his is about one of the best gifts hes ever received and it turns out▪the poem is abt race▪and its REALLY well written half the class is saying 'awwww' and the other half is near tears and smiling▪race is part of the other half. except he starts crying. did i mention hes emotional as hECK●shsjjfjgs amusement park dates▪these boys live for them (also i rlly just want an excuse to write about amusement park dates)▪kind of chaotic bc race bruises really easily AND hes really clumsy so if he and al have to part ways for a bit he might look like shit when they reconvene and albert is like "do i have to fight somebody or did you just do something dumb and get yourself hurt again"▪"........the latter"▪"jesus christ, race. youre such a disaster. but i love you"▪"love you too albieeeeee"
