Rogue One Drinking Contest
Tumblr media
Welcome to Part Deux of the Rogue One Brackets Series: the Rogue One Drinking Contest (as voted by you guys)!
The rules are simple: whoever chugs down their cup faster wins. Yes, we're playing with alcohol.
There's a few changes this round: most important of all, I've decided to remove K2. Fear not, it's only for this round, but since droids don't really eat or drink, it didn't seem logical to include him. Imagine he's the judge or something.
But we have some new characters too! Admiral Raddus, as well as Generals Merrick and Dodonna. Since we're no longer playing with exactly 16 characters, there's gonna be two play-ins to determine who will be facing off against Jyn and Cassian in the next rounds.
Speaking of facing off, here are the official match-ups:
Tumblr media
General Dodonna vs Admiral Raddus (PLAY-IN #1)
Governor Tarkin vs General Merrick (PLAY-IN #2)
Jyn Erso vs General Dodonna/Admiral Raddus
Saw Gerrera vs Lyra Erso
Baze Malbus vs Ruescott Melshi
Tivik vs Chirrut Imwe
Bodhi Rook vs Bail Organa
Davits Draven vs Orson Krennic
Galen Erso vs Mon Mothma
Governor Tarkin/General Merrick vs Cassian Andor
The play-in votes to come soon. Let's see who will be the Ultimate Drinking Champion!

Rewatching Rogue One tonight because Luke is disrupting the timeline again in A Flicker of Light. Let's see if that's going to be better or worse for the longevity of these characters....
On my wishlist: Luke getting to meet meet Chirrut Imwe. Could you imagine him meeting Anakin Skywalker's son?

whats,,,, lucys role in,,z stark wark au,,,
Tumblr media
oh my god im so sorry i forgot to respond! ToT
My apologies, friend!
But yes Lucy has a role in the SW au but it's not super big. Sort of similar to how it is in the game. When I think of Lucy's place in the story, it reminds me of Chirrut Imwe from Rogue One!
I imagine Lucy to be an old Temple Guard or maybe she's a trained Force-Sensitive outside of the Jedi Order, or possibly one of the Guardians of the Whills/Kyber Temple like Chirrut is, but either way Connor still meets her by chance (or not, who know, the Force works in MyStErIoUs WaYs) and her words to him are the same.
"You're lost... You're looking for something. You are looking for yourself."
This could be before Connor meets Hank and only looking out for himself or when he's training to use the Force. Either way, the line works just as well for his story arc as it does in the game. :)
(I also imagine Lucy to be a Tholothian like Adi Gallia ;) )

You and Baze exchanged glances as Chirrut wandered off the ship, walking with purpose to where Jyn had just been. Calling after him, you yelled, “Good luck going out there alone!”
“I don’t need luck.” Chirrut quipped back without hesitation. He knew, despite your reluctance at times, you would always have his back, and he never doubted you for a second. “I have you!”

“This is (y/n), she’ll be coming with us.” Baze said, in his usual ‘no nonsense’ tone.
Cassian looked at you oddly, “(S/He’s) just a kid.”
“A kid that could kick your ass.” You replied, crossing your arms.
Chirrut laughed, “(Y/n) is our child and my personal prodigy. They won’t be any trouble, no need to worry Captain.”

For @sissychoco...enjoy!
Y/N gasped as she tripped down into the sand for the millionth time. Her hands quickly covered her head as she heard another explosion go off nearby. A few bits of sand blew in her face from the impact. Setting her jaw, she shot her gaze back toward her destination: away from Chirrut. She had to draw the fire away.
Pushing herself to her feet, she faced her pursuers. Most held their blasters up and were running after her. They were smaller in number than they had been meaning...the explosion had taken some of them. Despite being their enemy, Y/N still felt the pang of empathy at losing comrades. It lasted only but a moment as her need for survival returned.
Eventually, she found herself heading back toward the base. By this time, she had managed to lose most of her pursuers. Unfortunately, there were still a few on her tail. Y/N leapt over a rock before stopping briefly.
“Gotta hand it to ya,” she shouted between breaths, “You really have a lot of stamina.” “The Empire is superior in many ways,” the metal-head replied.
As he spoke, Y/N gripped her blaster. She knew she was too far from Rogue One right now. Knowing her friends, they were just about finished. She had to start heading back. Closing her eyes, she focused on the only face she wanted to see: Chirrut. She let out a breath.
With renewed vigor, Y/N fired back at her remaining pursuers as she left the shelter of the rock. Once she was passed, she stopped firing and ran, keeping that same face in mind. She glanced over her shoulder and fired a few more times, making contact with just one of them. Facing forward, she duck another few blasts from her left from the AT-ATs on the beach. She was closing in on the ship, on Chirrut.
A smirk started to creep up her face as she came to that realization. She could see the ship now, Bodhi on the deck ushering in K2, Jyn, and Cassian. Baze was just a bit farther off, ushering in some of the volunteers, with Chirrut behind him. Grinning madly, Y/N picked up her pace. Chirrut looked in her direction as she went to raise her hand.
Before she could get a word out, her feet sunk...or flew. She wasn’t sure. Eyes wide, she realized she had been flung into the air. Instinctively, she rolled into a ball before blacking out.
Despite being blind, he had sensed Y/N close by. His heart rate increased as he called for Baze. Confused at seeing his life-long friend heading away from the ship, he lifted up his weapon and followed.
Chirrut sensed the remaining few pursuers were closing in on Y/N’s now limp body. Without a second thought, he readied his staff and stood right in front of Y/N. Confused, the troopers stopped to face him.
“You really shouldn’t have hurt her,” he stated sarcastically with an undertone of fury.
Just like that, he was off. Chirrut sprung on the troopers. Baze was behind him, hitting any one that attempted to run away. The blind man spun, knocking two or three heads. A man grabbed the staff, making Chirrut smirk to himself. He spun until his back was against the trooper’s chest.
“It’s not smart to hold something you don’t know how to use.”
A loud thwack connected the staff with the troopers head. Chirrut ducked and twirled his staff at an approaching trooper, flipping him into the sand.
“I’m sorry, didn’t see ya there,” he quipped. “Chirrut! Baze!” Jyn screamed from the ship.
Baze nodded and hurried to his friend. Chirrut was already bending over and picking Y/N up. He placed his forehead against hers with knit brows.
“She’s hurt,” he whispered. “Then we’ll bring her to Medbay,” Baze comforted, “We must go. They’re getting their weapon placed.”
Chirrut nodded. As quick as they could, the three made it to the ship. One of the volunteers took hold of Y/N as the other two climbed aboard. When he sat down, Chirrut asked the soldier to hand him Y/N. He complied, placing her head on his lap. Gently, Chirrut smoothed his hand from her forehead to her hair. He bit his lip as he lowered his head. She needed to recover from this; she had to...for him. He hadn’t told her how he felt. He had to tell her.
Baze lowered his own head as he heard him start to pray to the Force. Jyn watched, fiddling with her necklace. The ride was otherwise silent as they all hoped she would get through the pain and recover.

all i am saying is, if they wanted to introduce Eli Vanto into the mainstream canon, it would be smart to do it before Ahsoka, so audiences would be familiar with the character and thus less exposition is required later on.
Gee, if only there was a live action show about fighting the Empire set before SW Rebels, premiering before Ahsoka. . . . if only

Rogue One Family Game Night
-Mon Mothma forces them to have a fun night because they are all too stressed
-Of course Cassian sees it as a mission and stresses about it.
-he gets so many board games “You are going to play with me whether you like it or not”
-Jyn thinks the whole thing is dumb at first but then she gets way competitive
-She ends up mad because chirrut is the king of candy land “The force moves my dice”
- K-2 is also mad because apparently he is “strategy king” even though he keeps losing at Jenga to Bodhi
-Mon Mothma checks on them periodically and every time she has to yell at them to stop fighting
- Bodhi is having a good time though he loves little games
-especially Lincoln logs. He just adores everything blocks
-Catch him and Baze making a lego x-wing
- Cassians favorite game is hungry hungry hippos
-he just attacks the button until he wins. It’s a great way to let out anger
- Chirrut vs. K-2 at chess.
- The only game Cassian wins at is Clue and he’s so happy “IN YOUR FACE HA!”
-Baze LIVES for nerf battles with Jyn
-The most intense game of sorry you’ve ever experienced
-At the end of the night they all laugh and play uno and it’s a very sweet moment
-Mon Mothma can rest easy

‘I swear, if you mention the Force having helped you with that once more,’ you grumbled, watching as Chirrut sat down. There was a familiar smug smile on his face.
‘Ah, but of course it was,’ added Baze, somewhat bitterly. ‘It had nothing to do with his friend looking out for him. Or the –’
‘The Force will always protect me,’ Chirrut said, causing you to groan.
‘Imagine the money we could make if we took bets on how often he was going to thank the Force,’ you suggested in a low voice to Baze.
A small smirk slipped onto his face. ‘We wouldn’t have to keep walking everywhere.’
‘You know, I can hear you both,’ said Chirrut, causing you to chuckle slightly. ‘I might be blind, but I am not deaf.’
‘Ah, but you do have selective hearing,’ you noted.
‘We should move on,’ continued Chirrut.
‘Way to prove my point,’ you murmured, noticing that there was a small smirk on Chirrut’s face as he stood up once more, leaning heavily on his stick.

A man once told me that rebellions were built on hope
The doctors and decided that even though Jyn was not severely injured she still needed quite a bit of rest to allow her battered and bruised body to heal. So for the next two evenings the med bay would serve as her quarters.
As much of a blessing it was to be alone, it also left Jyn with a lot of time to think. Especially when Cassian was in a bacta tank (his wounds the most serious out of the five of them) and Baze, Chirrut and Bodhi had also been given similar orders as Jyn, from the doctor, to rest. The three of them had been lucky to walk away with only minor blaster burns. Bodhi had gotten the worst of it but would be fine after a bacta treatment.
It was nearly midnight on Yavin 4 and Jyn still could not fall asleep. The events of the past few days replaying in her mind. Trying to figure out what she could have done differently.
The tears began to fall.
Jyn wiped at her face but they kept coming.
The evening after the battle of Scarif Jyn Erso lay in her hospital bed and she mourned. She mourned the loss of her father and Saw, she mourned, for the first time in years, she mourned the loss of her mother. She unknowingly mourned for the losses still to come.
And she cried because she had nearly lost Rogue One too. The rag tag team that, over two days, had become what she might just one day call family.
Jyn Erso cried for Cassian Andor. The man who had sacrificed 20 years of loyalty to the Rebellion, who always followed orders, and who, for the first time in years, would have to decide who he is, and what he wants.
She cried for the loss of Cassian’s best friend, K2SO.
Jyn Erso cried for Bodhi Rook. The man brave enough to defy the Empire but nearly lost everything in the process. She cried for the man who lost his planet, Jedha, the man who also lost Galen Erso.
Jyn Erso cried for Baze Malbus and Chirrut Imwe. The Guardians of the Whills who had lost their entire planet, their families, their friends, and yet they still fought for what is right.
And for the first time in years, Jyn Erso sat in her small, dark hospital room and allowed herself to feel all the anger, loss, frustration and fear that she had bottled up for years to protect herself.
And when she could cry no more, Jyn sat on that bed, and for the first time in years, she allowed herself to feel hope. Hope that everything would be okay.
Hope that had come back to her because a man once told her that Rebellions were built on hope, and that same man had followed her to Scarif because he hoped that they would find the plans for the Death Star and stop the weapon of mass destruction.
And she hoped that that man and their new found friends would all be a part of the same future.
Together.
A/N Alright so here is the second part. I don’t know how many parts I’m going to do, or if I will do more. But this actually turned out a lot better than I expected. And I hope that everyone who gives it a shot enjoys it. Feel free to let me know what you think. Also sorry for any spelling errors.

Preference: Star Wars (Rogue One)
How They React If You Died First On Scarif
Characters: Chirrut Imwe, Baze Malbus, Bodhi Rook, Cassian Andor, Jyn Erso
Warnings: Death and violence
Request: “Can I request a preference of what the Rogue One crew would do if they saw you die first during the battle of Scarif” - anonymous
A/N: Um???? How dare you?? 2 years after this movie came out and I’m still trying to recover and you hit me with this??? And I know everyone was scattered on Scarif but for the sake of this preference we’re going to pretend that somehow everyone’s together.
“I’ve got the plans!” Jyn yelled, pressing her finger to her communications device in her ear. Nodding at Cassian, she continued to tell the rest of the team, “We have to get to the top of the communications tower to transmit them!”
“We’re outside!” you responded, your voice barely crackling through the device over the sounds of gunfire and explosions. “We’ll cover you!”
Cassian and Jyn were quick to escape and exit the storage rooms, finding themselves in the midst of the battle. They could see the ship they arrived in, where Bodhi was inside, scrambling to try and disable the force field. The communications tower was across the beach, and Jyn stared in horror at the AT-AT approaching. She could see Chirrut and Baze in the middle of the battlefield, shooting down troops, and you suddenly rushed up to her, grabbing her arm as you instructed, “You and Cassian stay behind me, I’ll clear a path!”
The two nodded, not having any time to argue, and you gripped your blaster before running across the beach, firing at anyone in your way. Cassian and Jyn backed you up, and with Chirrut and Baze’s additional backup the three of you had almost made it.
You turned around to make sure that Jyn and Cassian had kept up, and your expression fell when you noticed a stormtrooper had managed to sneak up from behind. He had pulled a grenade from his belt, and you watched in horror as it started to beep as it landed right behind Cassian. Knowing there was no time to outrun it, you pushed Cassian aside and curled your body over it, screwing your eyes shut as you hoped this would save your friends.
Your name: submit What is this?
Chirrut Imwe
Tumblr media
Chirrut could hear everything around him. From the sounds of blasters, the heavy footprints of the AT-AT’s, and your shouts to warn Cassian of the grenade Chirrut had heard land at his feet. Chirrut’s expression fell as he heard the subsequent explosion, as well as Jyn and Cassian yell your name. Chirrut felt something in his heart break, hearing the anguish and pain in Jyn and Cassian’s voice, the kind of pain which meant that you were gone.
Bowing his head, Chirrut seemed to drown out the sounds of violence around him as he pressed his forehead onto his staff, screwing his eyes shut as he could recall the sound of your voice.
“You are one with the Force now, y/n.” Chirrut whispered. “You are one with the Force.”
Baze Malbus
Tumblr media
Baze roared out your name as he saw you fling yourself on the grenade. Baze wanted to do something, anything, yet he knew there was nothing that could be done. He could only watch in horror as the explosion went off, taking your life with it.
The minute the explosion settled, he grabbed his gun and fired relentlessly at the stormtrooper who threw the grenade. Overcome with anger, Baze grabbed his rocket launched and fired at the AT-AT that was approaching, needing a way to vent his grief.
He glanced over to where you were, a small part of him unrealistically hoping that you were standing there. But when he saw nothing but a crater, he gritted his teeth in anger as he fired at any remaining stormtroopers in Jyn and Cassian’s path. There was still a mission to be completed. He would have to mourn after it was finished.
Bodhi Rook
Tumblr media
Bodhi looked out of the ship, cheering to himself and pumping his fist in the air when he saw that you, Jyn and Cassian had almost made it across the beach to the communications tower. He saw the stormtrooper behind you before you did, and Bodhi didn’t even have time to yell a warning before he pulled out a grenade. Bodhi watched helplessly as you tossed yourself on top of it, just before it exploded.
Bodhi fell to his knees, and he felt something get stuck in his throat as he realised that just in an instant, you were gone. You were so close, Bodhi realised, and tears welled in his eyes as he heard Jyn let out an anguished scream.
“y/n...” Bodhi whispered, your name now a ghost on his tongue. The horrible realization of your death seemed to sink in further, and Bodhi croaked out, “Oh God, no...”
Cassian Andor
Tumblr media
Cassian had heard something clatter behind him before you ran towards him, pushing him forward, hard. Cassian tumbled onto the ground as he saw you jump on top of the grenade. His eyes widened in horror as he yelled, “y/n, no!”
He lunged towards you, not thinking clearly, but the grenade had already gone off. The explosion was still enough to knock him backwards, but it was not nearly as big as it would’ve been had you not blocked it. Cassian stared at where you were in shock, before screwing his eyes shut. He didn’t know whether he was feeling grief or anger, but he felt something inside of him was lost.
Gritting his teeth, he forced himself up as he pulled an equally shocked Jyn to her feet. Knowing you would want the squad not to waste time mourning you and to keep fighting, he pushed her towards the communications tower and roared, “Keep going!”
Jyn Erso
Tumblr media
When you suddenly started running in the opposite direction, Jyn had no idea what was coming. She then registered the grenade at Cassian’s feet, and just as you pushed him aside, she knew that you were sacrificing yourself.
“y/n!” she screamed, but it was already too late. Jyn could feel tears stinging her eyes as the fire and dust settled, and just like that, you were gone. She felt frozen in place as she stared at the crater the grenade had left. Hot, angry tears streamed down her face -- the Empire had taken so much from her. Her family, her friends, and now you.
Cassian was the one who finally forced her to move, pulling her to her feet as he yelled at her to keep going. Finally letting her emotions get the better of her, she angrily gripped her blaster as she let out a frustrated scream, turning around and ruthlessly firing at the stormtroopers ahead of her. She was going to make the Empire pay.

Chirrut X Shy!Reader
i love your writings, can i request a chirrut x shy female reader ? thank you so <3
I’m sorry it’s short and if it’s not what you’re looking for!
Tumblr media
As a Jedha native, you felt deeply connected with the Force, the Jedi, all of it.
It grew harder to live on the sand planet as the Empire took the kyber crystals, thus taking away any trace of what had been.
One day you were trying to salvage a shard of kyber when you lost it in the crowds of people being chased by stormtroopers
Among them was Chirrut.
The crowd lead you to the gates of the city and you started your way back
When you returned to where you saw the kyber shard, you could see Chirrut sitting on the ground
You were approaching carefully when he spoke.
“I hope you don’t mind, but I made into a necklace to further grace your beauty.”
He held up the light blue kyber shard, hanging by a loop of twine.
You took it, and sat next to him.
He turned his head to face you, his unseeing eyes found yours.
Despite him being unable to see you, you blushed.
“Your energy is embarrassed, why in the Force’s name are you shy?”
You remained silent, which caused Chirrut to shower you in compliments.
From then on you talked to Chirrut everyday.
As time went on you grew more comfortable around Chirrut, and Baze who he introduced you to.
You spent most of your time with Chirrut and Baze
Listening to Chirrut talk about the Force and teasing you about your shyness.
Baze would teach you self-defense and how to use a blaster.
“Soon you’ll be better than Chirrut!” He would say.
It got to the point where Chirrut got a little jealous of the time you spent with Baze.
After you explained what you had been training with Baze, to protect the kyber, to protect Jedha.
Chirrut admired your devotion to the Force, to your home. It was in that argument he first realized he loved you.
The day after your small fight with him, Chirrut made plans to sneak into the temple and spend the day there with you.
When you both arrived, you could feel the Force dancing around each corner of the old Jedi stronghold.
Chirrut told you the story about how we wished he had a chance to train with the powerful Jedi.
You squeezed his hand as he spoke, guiding him around the abandoned temple.
When his story ended, you both had reached the area of the temple where the Empire had been stealing the kyber.
It was a cave like room and the crystals that remained hung on the ceiling and down to the floor. Most were white but some, like the one around your neck, were tinted blue. Other were greenish and few were stained purple.
It was a dazzling sight.
You both stood in the center of the room, your hand still linked to one of Chirrut’s.
He turned you gently, pressing his forehead to yours. And another blush crept to your cheeks.
“So shy, all the time.”
You smiled, “No, just around you.”
You closed your eyes, as did he.
And a blast rung out in the chamber.
Chirrut was quick with his staff, swinging it at the guards.
You grabbed one of the guns a trooper dropped after Chirrut hit him. You started to help hi take them down. Soon more stormtroopers flooded into the cave, and you started looking for an escape.
Your search ended with the loud sound of heavy fire.
You looked up at the entrance and saw Baze unleashing his fury of bullets on the troopers.
His fire allowed you and Chirrut to escape.
Once outside, Baze ran towards you, motioning to keep going
The three of you all managed to evade the Empire
But the look on Chirrut’s face made your heart break.
“We’ve lost the temple. We’ve lost everything.”
Chirrut was sad for a while after that.
You trained with Baze during the day, and stayed with Chirrut during the night.
One night Chirrut was angry, with everything, and he broke down.
“After I lost my family, my sight, The Force acted as my guide and now I can’t even protect that.”
Yo knelt down before him, your arm reaching up to cup his face. His unseeing gaze landed on you and you felt his full attention.
“You are one with the force. The force is with you. Remember, by following The Force, by living with it, you are protecting it.”
Suddenly, he was leaning forward and so were you.
The kiss was slow, very careful as if any harsh movement would break the other.
Everything after that was almost normal, except there was more affection.
He still teased you for being bashful around him.
And you’d hush him with a kiss.
Baze would fake gag cause he’s just too tough for all the love (he ships it tho)
You and Chirrut would often stay up late, exchanging stories and tales of The Force and your lives.
He opened up about his childhood and family.
From that you gained such a heartbreaking understanding on why he followed The Force so strongly. The Empire had not been kind to him as a child.
But with that knowledge, your bond with Chirrut only grew strong from there.

For anon...enjoy!
“You’re going to do nothing?” you shouted at Mon Mothma. She lowered her gaze. “To go after their plans on a heavily guarded base is suicide. We can’t ask anyone to do that.” “There has to be some way to get those plans! People died and were tortured to even get the information to tell us there was a weakness!”
The room fell silent. The woman in white looked you straight in the eyes.
“That was their choice to make. They knew the risks to bring that to us.” You narrowed your eyes. “Yeah. One of them apparently being that we sit on it like apathetic yokels.”
Before anybody could retort, you left the room. You were fuming with annoyance and irritation. You already knew how much Jyn and Cassian were going to dislike hearing the news. You just had beaten the pair to the briefing room. In fact, you passed them while muttering to yourself. The pair knit their brows before looking toward Baze, Bodhi, K2, and Chirrut. Baze whispered something to Chirrut right before you strolled by. However, you didn’t notice due to your growing resentment.
You also failed to realize that a certain someone was following you. Eventually, you stopped just at the edge of the forest. With a despondent sigh, you sat on the ground.
“Something is upsetting you,” a familiar voice stated.
You jumped slightly before realizing it was Chirrut. You smirked before it fell into a frown.
“The decision the council made,” you murmured, “They don’t want to do anything. Just sit on the information.” The blind man sat next to you, holding his staff. “That is troubling.” You nodded. “I just don’t get it. People are sacrificing themselves everyday, and suddenly this mission is too high stakes?” Chirrut nodded. “I see you’re quite willing.” “I am. I can’t be the only one, can I?” you asked, a little hopelessly.
You glanced up as Chirrut gripped your hand. He smiled while lowering his gaze as he gave it a squeeze. Smiling softly, you squeezed back.
“No. You’re not the only one.”
