I'm back!

This concept happened somewhat by accident. I was in the process of updating some old mockups. While looking at my original pitch mockups for Ducktales Remastered, I came across an old revamp of Chip & Dale on the NES back in 2014. Given that I had to isolate all the elements to apply the changes, I suddenly had workable game assets and some extra time on my hands. Things just snowballed from there.

One thing I did want to address from the original was to properly show the scale of things. The NES game was all over the place (mouse sized rhinos for example.) So making sure the big robot dogs from the first level where actually appropriately imposing was important. The game also implied you travel to locations by plane, but you never got to see it.

While the mockup is scaled for modern systems, I've composed the music and sound effects using SNES limitations to give it that old Capcom home-console flair.

I don't WANT another Toy Story movie. What I WANT is a cinematic universe that has the Great Mouse Detective, Basil of Baker Street as a founding member of the Rescue Aid Society, and the Rescue Rangers are an unlicensed, unsanctioned offshoot, because Chip and Dale got kicked out of the RAS by Director Bianca for being loose cannons.

The Disney Afternoon’s’ programming block launched 34 years ago, September 10, 1990.

The block will turn 35 years in 2025, wishful thinking for a crossover series with all characters like Jellystone! from MAX getting ordered.

The 2010s and 2020s saw new interations of some shows of The Disney Afternoon block with DuckTales as reboot for Disney XD , Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers as a live action/cgi hybrid film for Disney+.

New interations of The Disney Afternoon shows are still being made with Darkwing Duck having a reboot in the works since 2020 and a TaleSpin reboot very early in development since 2023 both projects for Disney+ are being helm by Disney Television Animation, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Point Grey Pictures. (Nickelodeon Animation Studios "Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles") In October 2023, it was announced that Gargoyles was getting a live action reboot handled by Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Television, Gary Dauberman (Warner Bros “Anabelle” franchise), acts as showrunner with James Wan and Michael Clear (Universal Pictures “M3GAN”) as Executive Producers alongside Jason Blum (Universal Pictures "Five Nights At Freddy's").

As of right now there's two major Disney Afternoon IPs still left to be rebooted:

-Adventures Of The Gummi Bears

-Goof Troop

Who's next? i guess the future knows however attempts by current Disney Television Animation artists where made:

Unfortunately, bad news for all comic book fans, the genius artist for Disney comics, Maximino Tortajada Aguilar, passed away last week. He is from Spain and is the brother of the equally brilliant artist José Miguel Tortajada Aguilar who is also an artist working for Disney and Egmont editing Disney comics. While José Miguel worked more on Mickey Mouse comics, Maximino Tortajada Aguilar worked more on Donald Duck comics combining various styles depending on the publisher and given outcomes. He was born on 24-X-1961 in Barcelona, ​​and he started his career back in 1980 and continued his career until this year. He also drew on the OG Ducktales comics, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Talespin and other Disney cartoons that made it into the comics, as he also drew for Egmont drawing for Dutch and Scandinavian comics. He is certainly one of my favorite artists and it is a great shame that he left us on August 20th of this year. lso bad news for all fans of Disney (Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck) comics. Yesterday, the genius artist for Disney comics, who did commission art, Sergio Asteriti, died. He was born on February 13, 1930 in Venice, and began his career in 1952. "Sergio Asteriti was born in Venice, and studied at the Scuola di Magistero d'Arte, section Publicity. In 1952, he moved to Milan, where he was employed by the advertising agency S.P.I.N.T.A. The agency folded two years later, and Asteriti turned to comics. He made his comics debut with the 'Bingo Bongo' series at the publishing house Alpe in 1955. He soon expanded his activities and did illustration work for various publishers and magazines. “The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” Gets Delayed Till 2025 As Part Of The Disney Afternoon 35th Anniversary

Sad news Disney Afternoon fans, “The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” got delayed once again this time slated for a Fall 2025 release date according to Jake S. Friedman.

Likely the reason for this delay is to coincide with The Disney Afternoon 35th anniversary on 2025 and Disney TVA's 100th show ("StuGo" & "Robogobo") already airing on that time.

The Disney Afternoon: The Making of a Television Renaissance” will include sections dedicated to DuckTales (2017) and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (2022) as well a small section named “THE NEWEST WAVE: Or Rewrite History" likely dedicated to Disney TVA's current & future slate as part of the studio's 40th anniversary and it's 100th show ("StuGo")
