I'm back!
This concept happened somewhat by accident. I was in the process of updating some old mockups. While looking at my original pitch mockups for Ducktales Remastered, I came across an old revamp of Chip & Dale on the NES back in 2014. Given that I had to isolate all the elements to apply the changes, I suddenly had workable game assets and some extra time on my hands. Things just snowballed from there.
One thing I did want to address from the original was to properly show the scale of things. The NES game was all over the place (mouse sized rhinos for example.) So making sure the big robot dogs from the first level where actually appropriately imposing was important. The game also implied you travel to locations by plane, but you never got to see it.
While the mockup is scaled for modern systems, I've composed the music and sound effects using SNES limitations to give it that old Capcom home-console flair.
This video is not endorsed or licensed by CAPCOM CO., LTD or THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY and is not a game under development. This is made only for fun.

In Feburary 2020, the showrunner of DuckTales 2017 Francisco Angones shared a failed pitch involving a Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers reboot that involved The Rescuers as well as The Great Mouse Detective.

In May 2022, Tom Caulfield shared a pitch for a Rescuers project. It's unknown if this was part of the aforementioned pitch, however there is a character that resembles Basil.

In the replies it is confirmed that this character is a descendant of Basil.
Tumblr media
Chip and Dale were intended to appear.
Tumblr media
The pitch may have been turned down due to the release of the 2022 Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers movie.

I don't WANT another Toy Story movie. What I WANT is a cinematic universe that has the Great Mouse Detective, Basil of Baker Street as a founding member of the Rescue Aid Society, and the Rescue Rangers are an unlicensed, unsanctioned offshoot, because Chip and Dale got kicked out of the RAS by Director Bianca for being loose cannons.

Superhero and Heroic Comfort Character Squad - My Version - Men and Boys from Cartoons, Comics, Anime and Video Games - Duck Avenger (Paperinik), Duck Dodgers, Darkwing Duck and T-Squad (Quack Pack) crossover - Duckverse and crossover - My Style
Sorry for my break, due to some inconveniences I took a week off, now I've done new drawings, which I wanted to do last year, but due to some circumstances I didn't get around to it, but now I have. For those unfamiliar, I did my own redraw of a meme drawing like the "draw your comfort characters like this" challenges and took this drawing as inspiration: https://www.deviantart.com/outcastcomix/art/The-Comfort-Character-Squad-1012002807
Otherwise, it's a redraw from a WB Kids promo featuring Yakko Warner from Animaniacs, Bruce Wayne as Batman and as Batman Beyond, Clark Kent as Superman, and Ash Ketchum from Pokemon. Source:https://x.com/PreStalnic/status/1747360462088610150
That trend was popular last year and I'm sorry I didn't do it then, but that certainly doesn't mean I haven't given up on it and I've done two drawings featuring my favorite characters from various franchises and together they make up the Superheroes Squad team.
The first drawing I drew features Donald Duck as Duck Avenger (Paperinik-Pk), Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers from the 24th century, Drake Mallard as Darkwing Duck, Howard the Duck from Marvel Comics, Rayman from the Rayman game (Ubisoft), Woody Woodpecker as the Masked Woodpecker, Detective Droopy the Dog, Super Mario and Luigi from the popular Nintendo game, Bruce Wayne as Batman, Popeye the Sailor, Squidward Tentacles from SpongeBob SquarePants as Sour Note (as his superhero alter ego from the movie SpongeBob: Out of the Water), Asterix and Obelix from the popular Franco-Belgian comic of the same name, and Dr. David Livesey from the Soviet version of Treasure Island.
The second drawing I drew features T-Squad (Quack Pack-my version) featuring Louie Duck as Green Avenger (based on Duck Avenger), Dewey Duck as Blue Cyclops (based on Gizmoduck) and Huey Duck as Red Shadow (based on Darkwing Duck and Shadow). In addition to them, there are also Plucky Duck as Green Dodgers (based on Duck Dodgers), Buster Bunny as Superbun (based on Superman and Super Rabbit) from Tiny Toons Adventures, Yakko and Wakko Warner as Power Rangers (Warner Rangers) from the original Animaniacs, Chip and Dale Chipmunk from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, SpongeBob SquarePants as Invincibubble (as his superhero alter ego from the movie SpongeBob: Out of the Water), Peter Parker as Spiderman from Marvel Comics, Sonic the Hedgehog from the popular franchise of the same name from Sega, as from the Sonic films, Michelangelo the turtle from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Goku from Dragon Ball Z and Link the elf from the Nintendo video game The Legend of the Zelda.
I wanted to add more, but I wouldn't care for everything, so I apologize for that. I hope you like these characters and these drawings.
Feel free to like and reblog if you like this, but please do not copy these same ideas and versions of these characters without my permission and without mentioning me, thank you! Of course, with the New Year, let's start something new, and that's with crossovers. SUPERHEROES ASSAMBLE! UNITE!

I always forget that there is a canon universe where cartoon characters are just actors (Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Chip n Dale) and now I can’t stop thinking about the transformers just being…actors. Like, we know the transformers are in the Chip n Dale universe.
So like, how would that work lmao
I’m just imagining Starscream putting on a voice and having to take a lozenge every day because it hurts his throat so much

Unfortunately, bad news for all comic book fans, the genius artist for Disney comics, Maximino Tortajada Aguilar, passed away last week. He is from Spain and is the brother of the equally brilliant artist José Miguel Tortajada Aguilar who is also an artist working for Disney and Egmont editing Disney comics. While José Miguel worked more on Mickey Mouse comics, Maximino Tortajada Aguilar worked more on Donald Duck comics combining various styles depending on the publisher and given outcomes. He was born on 24-X-1961 in Barcelona, and he started his career back in 1980 and continued his career until this year. He also drew on the OG Ducktales comics, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Talespin and other Disney cartoons that made it into the comics, as he also drew for Egmont drawing for Dutch and Scandinavian comics. He is certainly one of my favorite artists and it is a great shame that he left us on August 20th of this year. Unfortunately, there is not much information about him, except on the Lambiek encyclopedia, and I learned about his death on the Inducks Discord from a friend of mine as well as here: https://www.tebeosfera.com/autores/tortajada_aguilar_maximino.html
lso bad news for all fans of Disney (Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck) comics. Yesterday, the genius artist for Disney comics, who did commission art, Sergio Asteriti, died. He was born on February 13, 1930 in Venice, and began his career in 1952. "Sergio Asteriti was born in Venice, and studied at the Scuola di Magistero d'Arte, section Publicity. In 1952, he moved to Milan, where he was employed by the advertising agency S.P.I.N.T.A. The agency folded two years later, and Asteriti turned to comics. He made his comics debut with the 'Bingo Bongo' series at the publishing house Alpe in 1955. He soon expanded his activities and did illustration work for various publishers and magazines. Asteriti joined the art studios of Roy d'Ami in the late 1950s. There, he drew for the British Fleetway agency ('Fun in Toyland', 'Freddie Frog', etc.) and for Il Corriere dei Piccoli, where he took over the 'Formichino' series from Roberto Sgrilli.
Asteriti has been an artist of Disney comics for Topolino since 1963. From 1974, he also took on the writing of Disney stories. He has mainly done stories with 'Mickey Mouse', but also other characters, such as 'Uncle Scrooge', 'Super Goof', 'Gilbert', 'Tanti Auguri', 'The Prince and the Pauper', 'Indiana Pips'." Taken from the Lambiek encyclopedia. He certainly contributed a lot to the Mickey Mouse universe. He died on August 27, 2024. Kudos to him for his truly outstanding work! Rest in peace! Amen.
