Warning: Long Post No one reads long texts anymore, but despite everything I've been through with my country, my family, and recently my son, I need to get this off my chest. It's completely unbelievable to me that so many people still don't understand the background of the genocide in Palestine. What kind of journalists or influencers do we have today? Are they too afraid to report and remind their audiences about the real story behind what's happening now? No, it's not just one year of suffering! It's outrageous how the media consistently ignores what Palestinians have been enduring for decades. Have they, or you, even bothered to look at the statistics of how many Palestinians have been killed by Israel since 1948? How many children have been killed? Who holds the responsibility for what's happening now? I often wonder: what if the situation Palestinians face was applied somewhere else? For example, what if, after World War II, the West had decided that all Jews should have a state in the USA—let’s say Chicago—how would the people of Chicago have reacted? Imagine the people there being driven off the land their families had worked for generations, stripped of their rights, and harassed or persecuted if they resisted. Do international laws simply not apply when ### is involved? Do you know that people in Gaza are killed simply for fun? Yes, for fun! Israeli soldiers have been known to shoot women, children, and even animals on the spot, then walk away. Did you feel the wind when those shots were fired? Or was it too far away for you? Do you understand what death means? Good. Do you know why there are so many Palestinians living in different countries, or maybe even right next door to you, even though they smell like hummus, garlic, za'atar, and other traditional foods? Do you know why your neighbors are Palestinian and not Israeli? It's because we've been forced to flee since 1948. Our cities were erased then, and more are still being erased—through violence, through apartheid laws, through genocide, through different methods. Ilan Pappe, an Israeli historian, wrote a book about hundreds of Palestinian cities that were erased to create the Israel you know today. This isn't a war that started a few days ago or even a year ago—this has been going on since at least 1948. More than 45,000 have been killed in Gaza just in the past year alone. 17 000 of them are children, and 13 000 are women. Do you even know what that means? How it feels to lose your children or part of your family? Are you going to tell us how it feels? Do you have no empathy? Is your heart so closed that you can't see the pain around you? Are you really so blind to the suffering of others? How can you ignore these realities? Do you know that the Israeli military has cut off all electricity and completely halted the import of food, water, fuel, and other necessities? There are no hospitals and no medicines left, and 85% of people in Gaza are living in makeshift tents. Yes, tents—but not like the ones you see in movies. These are handmade from plastic scraps. Do you know that my family is suffering from all of this, and I will lose them in this cold weather if you don't act now? Please help us and donate now!

Upon assuming the throne as king of Briar Valley, many things were expected of Malleus.
His marriage to a human was definitely NOT one of those things.
Well, it's not like any of those opinions matter.
Fortunately Queen Maleficia on the other hand doesn't seem bothered about it or about Malleus imminent marriage with MC, Lilia and Silver are happy, also as Sebek.
The royal wedding was an event. For a variety of reasons, you can imagine.
MC and Malleus have a daughter together named Aurora. A few years later they had twin sons: Magnus and Kyrval.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/e24ef7bf41e3373cae1d96e7314c0bf5/b54c3ed9f8798a64-33/s540x810/90c1c0561a455312f17d9c1ada1ab30886e0be56.jpg)
He planned to go far away even before graduation, but something made him rethink it... this "something" is Malleus, Silver and MC.
Of course, he didn't want all the work of Briar Valley to fall on him like it had been all these years. Fortunately, with Malleus taking the throne, changes would come. Good changes, he hoped.
After marriage, he was booking a house in a more remote location, but close to the essential points.
He is a stay-at-home husband, and he is happy that way.
Silver was happy for his father. He believes that Lilia deserves to be happy, and if MC makes him happy, it's everything fine.
MC and Lilia have triplets, all girls: Arista, Aisha and Adela. Lilia said he wanted they all to have an "A". The reason? He said he would say it on their 16th birthday.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9d5517f5f47a95140369caca27596c94/b54c3ed9f8798a64-3a/s540x810/4bf413c88237ae8f3e5ab2e470a4557849c4456a.jpg)
He officially became a royal guard after graduation and years of training.
He was fine and happy with it. Following the calling he had been trained to be his whole life. And with that, so was his girlfriend, MC.
He wanted to have a house first and foremost, one he bought with his own money.
When he succeeded, the marriage proposal was the next step.
Lilia was supporting him in every way, and that was enough for him. The same for Malleus.
He and MC have a daughter: Hanna.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1c9c119e772f0a5f7e77b7dc47e4e8bf/b54c3ed9f8798a64-6c/s540x810/18a8ec3552145cd1d44676a7095634addd22770a.jpg)
Like Silver, Sebek took his post as royal guard proudly.
He introduced his girlfriend to his family. His parents and older siblings were happier than ever, the same could not be said for Baul... but Sebek was already prepared for this. He didn't care. He would marry MC, and that would be that.
After the proposal, he went looking for a house.
He was happy and cheerful to give you the news. He had to get a house closer to the castle to carry out his duties, but valuing MC's safety, he decided to get a little more hidden one.
MC and Sebek have two children: a boy named Ivan and a girl named Amelie.

(Credit and a truly absurd amount of context below the poll in case you don't know who the Old Took is.)
Today's poll looks at a question posed by @sindar-princeling:
Bilbo barely passed Old Took's record lifespan after having a supernaturally-life-extending ring for 60 years. which begs a question. what the hell did Old Took do
In the notes on that post, the most popular theory by far was espoused by @mitsuhachiinthehive, who posited that Gandalf hooked up with a hobbit at some point and [some of] the Tooks are his descendants. This idea was further spread thanks to @the-haiku-bot.
Additional theories which I cribbed for poll options:
The diamond cufflinks were magical in more ways than one @elodieunderglass
He drank an ent-draught courtesy of the missing ent wives @betterofflost
He got hold of a random magic elven ring @morgulscribe
If you would like some a lot of context from canon so you can decide for yourself, more information about the Old Took is beneath the cut.
First off, it's established multiple times in the books what a big deal it was for Bilbo to beat Old Took's record. From The Return of the King:
He opened his eyes and looked up as they came in. 'Hullo, hullo!' he said. 'So you've come back? And tomorrow's my birthday, too. How clever of you! Do you know, I shall be one hundred and twenty-nine? And in one year more, if I am spared, I shall equal the Old Took. I should like to beat him; but we shall see.' [...] Little Elanor was nearly six months old, and 1421 had passed to its autumn, when Frodo called Sam into the study. 'It will be Bilbo's Birthday on Thursday, Sam,' he said. 'And he will pass the Old Took. He will be a hundred and thirty-one!' 'So he will!' said Sam. 'He's a marvel!'
Here's a biography on the old hobbit from Tolkien Gateway:
After the death of his father in 1248, Gerontius became the twenty-sixth Thain of the Shire. He was a friend of Gandalf, who gave him a pair of magic diamond studs and performed firework tricks during Gerontius' midsummer-eve parties. Gerontius Took reached the impressive age of 130, which made him the oldest Hobbit until his grandson Bilbo Baggins celebrated his 131st Birthday. He also held the record of most offspring, until Samwise Gamgee bested him with Tom's birth in S.R. 1442.
And from Tolkien Gateway's page on the Took Family:
Tooks were mainly of Fallohide Hobbit stock, and had quite a reputation for unusual behavior (among other things being more adventurous than the other Hobbits), a quality not valued in the Shire. For this they would be seen as less respectable, but those traits were "tolerated" thanks to their large numbers and wealth. An absurd legend among other families, was that one of the Took ancestors married a fairy. The Wizard Gandalf was a known, if disreputable, associate.
Here we have Gandalf introducing himself to Bilbo in The Hobbit. Note that Belladonna Took is one of the Old Took's 12 (!!) children.
“Yes, yes, my dear sir—and I do know your name, Mr. Bilbo Baggins. And you do know my name, though you don’t remember that I belong to it. I am Gandalf, and Gandalf means me! To think that I should have lived to be good-morninged by Belladonna Took’s son, as if I was selling buttons at the door!” “Gandalf, Gandalf! Good gracious me! Not the wandering wizard that gave Old Took a pair of magic diamond studs that fastened themselves and never came undone till ordered? Not the fellow who used to tell such wonderful tales at parties, about dragons and goblins and giants and the rescue of princesses and the unexpected luck of widows’ sons? Not the man that used to make such particularly excellent fireworks! I remember those! Old Took used to have them on Midsummer’s Eve. Splendid! They used to go up like great lilies and snapdragons and laburnums of fire and hang in the twilight all evening!” You will notice already that Mr. Baggins was not quite so prosy as he liked to believe, also that he was very fond of flowers. “Dear me!” he went on. “Not the Gandalf who was responsible for so many quiet lads and lasses going off into the Blue for mad adventures? Anything from climbing trees to visiting elves—or sailing in ships, sailing to other shores! Bless me, life used to be quite inter—I mean, you used to upset things badly in these parts once upon a time. I beg your pardon, but I had no idea you were still in business.” “Where else should I be?” said the wizard. “All the same I am pleased to find you remember something about me. You seem to remember my fireworks kindly, at any rate, and that is not without hope. Indeed for your old grandfather Took’s sake, and for the sake of poor Belladonna, I will give you what you asked for.”
And for context, Sam was 102 when he sailed West, Merry was at least 103 and almost certainly older when he died, and Pippin at least 95. The uncertainty is because Tolkien describes their last years thus in the Appendices:
1484 In the spring of the year a message came from Rohan to Buckland that King Éomer wished to see Master Holdwine once again. Meriadoc was then old (102) but still hale. He took counsel with his friend the Thain [Pippin], and soon after they handed over their goods and offices to their sons and rode away over the Sam Ford, and they were not seen again in the Shire. It was heard after that Master Meriadoc came to Edoras and was with King Éomer before he died in that autumn. Then he and Thain Peregrin went to Gondor and passed what short years were left to them in that realm, until they died and were laid in Rath Dínen among the great of Gondor. 1541 In this year on March 1st came at last the Passing of King Elessar. It is said that the beds of Meriadoc and Peregrin were set beside the bed of the great king. Then Legolas built a grey ship in Ithilien, and sailed down Anduin and so over Sea; and with him, it is said, went Gimli the Dwarf. And when that ship passed an end was come in the Middle-earth of the Fellowship of the Ring.

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘'𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐒
a guide to their children personalities, looks and more
characters: dad & husband! alhaitham, cyno, kaveh, kaedehara kazuha, lyney, neuvillette, wriothesley
intro: some says children are the mirrors of their parents, reflecting their images and absorbing their surroundings. perhaps this is true as your child shows so much of your husband. nevertheless, they’re their own person too, with their own personalities and likes - but never less loved for that.
cw: kids are described as toddlers and middle-childhood
reblogs and comments are appreciated ♡
Hakim
Birthday: May, 7th
Appearance: Hakim is the spitting image of his father, inheriting Alhaitham's jade-green eyes, gray hair, and signature stoic expression. Despite his reserved demeanor, he is a sweet and kind-hearted boy, radiating warmth through his actions rather than words.
Personality: Hakim holds a deep respect for his parents and has a noble, thoughtful nature. He is more of an observer than a conversationalist, preferring to quietly take in his surroundings—another trait he seems to have inherited from his father. He finds solace in creative outlets like drawing and enjoys flipping through picture-filled books, which has prompted you and Alhaitham to frequently indulge him with art supplies and encyclopedias. Even as he grows older, Hakim cherishes the comforting routine of bedtime stories, delighting in the moments when you or Alhaitham read to him before he falls asleep.
Nicknames: Kim (affectionately used by family and friends). Love (mostly from you). Son (Alhaitham’s proud address for him)
Trivia: He likes cats but he's allergic to them.
Aryan & Isaar
Birthday: November, 26th
Appearance: Aryan and Isaar are identical twins, so much so that even now, people often struggle to tell them apart. They are a perfect blend of their parents' features, though Cyno's genes dominate slightly. They share his deep brown skin tone and striking red-orange eyes.
Personality: While Aryan is the quieter and more reserved twin, Isaar is the more sociable and approachable one, creating a harmonious balance between the brothers. Both are respectful, kind, and honest, though not easily fooled. Aryan tends to be more judgmental; if he dislikes someone, he makes no effort to hide it, while Isaar is more diplomatic. Both brothers share a close bond with their friends Hakim and Zahra and are deeply affectionate towards you, often showing their love in small but meaningful ways. Despite their strong attachment to you, they equally enjoy spending time with Cyno, who they look up to greatly.
Aryan's nicknames: Ary (affectionate nickname used by parents and friends). Yan (used exclusively by Isaar). Son and Kid (Cyno’s typical endearments).
Isaar's nicknames: Isa (affectionate nickname used by parents and friends). Izz (used exclusively by Aryan). Son and Kid (Cyno’s typical endearments).
Trivia: Both twins dislike sweets but love sour fruits. They invented a secret language as children, which, to this day, they use to communicate discreetly around strangers. Aryan is older by exactly seven minutes, a fact Isaar good-naturedly accepts (most of the time).
Kaedehara Kazumi
Birthday: March, 3rd
Appearance: Kazumi is the mirror image of his father, Kazuha, inheriting all the samurai's distinctive features with barely a trace of your genes in his appearance. The one feature that sets him apart is the charming beauty mark beneath his left eye.
Personality: Like his father, Kazumi has a calm and easygoing demeanor, though his mischievous and slightly presumptuous streak often lands him in trouble. Despite his occasional antics, Kazumi is a loving and gentle soul who deeply values his family. He looks out for his younger siblings with care and respect and admires both you and Kazuha greatly, often seeking your guidance and wisdom.
Nicknames: Zumi (normally used by family). Son (endearingly used by Kazuha). Kazu (casual family and friends nickname). Zuzu (a playful teasing nickname from Kiyomi, especially when she wants to annoy him)
Trivia: Kazumi is ambidextrous, a skill that often surprises others and serves him well in various tasks.
Kaedehara Kiyomi
Birthday: October, 17th
Appearance: Kiyomi takes after you in most of her features, though she still carries distinct characteristics from Kazuha, including his striking crimson eyes and the signature red streak in her hair. Despite these inherited traits, Kiyomi shines as her own unique person.
Personality: Kiyomi is extroverted, charismatic, and brimming with confidence. Her mischievous side often leads to playful antics, especially with her older brother, Kazumi. However, she also has a girly streak, treasuring quality time spent with you. Smart and strong-willed, she has a sharp sense of justice and doesn’t hesitate to speak up against things she deems wrong. Her deep love for you and Kazuha is evident in everything she does, and she takes her role as an older sister seriously, especially when it comes to caring for her young brother.

Trivia: Kiyomi adores wearing dresses, kimonos, and yukatas.
Kaedehara Haruki
Birthday: September, 21st
Appearance: Haruki is a beautiful blend of both you and Kazuha. He shares his father’s pale skin tone, but his eyes gleam like precious jewels, a striking resemblance to yours. Due to being born with a frail constitution, Haruki is smaller than most children his age, which only adds to his delicate charm.
Personality: Haruki is a shy and quiet boy who prefers the comfort of home, making him especially close to you and Kazuha. Though reserved, he has a sweet and endearing side that he reveals only to his family and a select few familiar faces. Despite his quiet nature, he cherishes being included in his older siblings’ games and activities, finding joy in their lively energy.
Nicknames: Baby (your affectionate nickname for him). Buddy (used casually by Kazumi). Son/Child (endearingly from Kazuha). Haru (a common family nickname).
Trivia: Haruki is asthmatic, and his health requires extra care. He also wears eyeglasses due to his poor vision. With only 13 years, he was invited to study at Akademiya where he became an illustrious scholar in the Darshan of Haravatat.
Zahra
Birthday: August, 13th
Appearance: Zahra is the spitting image of her father, Kaveh, inheriting his blonde hair and many of his features. However, her golden-hued eyes are a striking reminder to her grandmother of her late husband. With naturally rosy, chubby cheeks, Zahra is irresistibly adorable, often drawing the attention of outsiders who can’t help but want to pinch them—much to Kaveh’s protective dismay.
Personality: Zahra is an extroverted and cheerful girl, always full of energy and charm. She has a curious and intelligent nature, preferring puzzles and building blocks. Her playful yet thoughtful personality makes her a delight to everyone around her. Zahra adores her father, Kaveh, and unsurprisingly, he is her favorite parent, though her love for you is equally strong. Despite being pampered endlessly by Kaveh and her wealthy aunt, she is a well-behaved child who rarely throws tantrums.
Nicknames: Zaza (commonly used by you and her best friends). Babygirl, Sunshine, Sweet girl, Princess (terms of endearment from Kaveh).
Trivia: Zahra is afraid of insects, especially butterflies, and will quickly hide or call for help if one comes too close.
Corinne & Quentin
Birthday: December, 30th
Appearance: Corinne and Quentin are identical twins, bearing an uncanny resemblance to you with their father's lilac, cat-shaped eyes as the only noticeable feature. However, subtle physical differences set them apart: Quentin is slightly taller, while Corinne has softer, chubbier cheeks.
Personality: Much like their father, Lyney, and aunt Lynette, the twins’ personalities contrast in complementary ways. Quentin is the friendly and talkative one, radiating charm in his own way, though he’s not as high-energy as Lyney. Corinne, on the other hand, is calm, reserved, and observant, speaking mostly in the company of those she’s close to.
Corinne's nicknames: Cori (a common nickname). Nina (used exclusively by Quentin). Dear, Sweet girl (a term of endearment from you). Doll, Princess, Lovely/Sweet girl (Lyney’s affectionate nicknames).
Quentin's nicknames: Quenn (a common nickname). Quinn (used exclusively by Corinne). Mini-me, Buddy (Lyney’s fond term for him).
Trivia: Corinne is allergic to shrimp, while Quentin despises onions. Despite their close bond, once, they had a huge fight. Quentin is five minutes older than Corinne.
Éveline
Birthday: February, 4th
Appearance: Éveline is a stunning blend of her parents, inheriting Neuvillette’s white hair, draconian blue eyes, and pointy ears, while her facial features reflect your side of the family. Her ethereal beauty is undeniable, yet her demeanor is soft and gentle.
Personality: Timid and soft-spoken, Éveline often feels shy around unfamiliar faces, instinctively seeking comfort by hiding behind you or Neuvillette. Despite her introverted nature, she shares a deep affection for the Melusines and treasures her friendship with Corinne, Cameron, and Quentin, with whom she feels at ease. Sensitive and a little emotional, Éveline knows she can always turn to you or her dad when her feelings become overwhelming. She has a special fondness for cuddling with her dad and enjoys quiet moments of connection. Over time, Éveline begins to explore the outdoors more confidently, taking delight in nature and bonding with animals during her adventures.
Nicknames: Line (a common, sweet nickname). Angel (your affectionate name for her). Sweetheart, Darling (used tenderly by Neuvillette). Eve (a casual family nickname).
Trivia: Éveline loves Mondstadt’s fresh water and insists it tastes the best. She dreams of becoming an “animal healer” when she grows up, inspired by her love for creatures big and small.
Cameron
Birthday: June, 26th
Appearance: Cameron is the spitting image of his father, Wriothesley, inheriting not only his physical traits but also many of his likes and mannerisms. Despite this resemblance, Cameron is more reserved and quiet, exuding a calm and collected demeanor. However, under your affectionate care, his shy and bashful side emerges, often accompanied by a faint blush.
Personality: Cameron is remarkably well-educated and respectful for his age, treating everyone with equal kindness, regardless of their background or past actions. His sharp intelligence shines through in his love for puzzles and creative activities. As the firstborn, Cameron had been an only child for a long time. Yet, you and Wriothesley never doubted how he would welcome a younger sibling. True to his loving nature, Cameron has embraced his role as an older brother wholeheartedly, showing incredible care and devotion to his little sister.
Nicknames: Sweetheart, Baby boy (your affectionate term). Cam (family and friends favorite). Buddy, Son (used fondly by Wriothesley). Cammy (Marie’s adorable nickname for him)
Trivia: Cameron has a fondness for tea but insists it must be sweetened with sugar and cream.
+
Marie
Birthday: October, 9th
Appearance: Marie is the very definition of cuteness, according to both her father and big brother. The most precious and cutest girl in the world. She resembles you more than anyone else, but her sparkling icy blue eyes are a gift from her father. Despite being small for her age, Marie is a healthy, energetic bundle of joy; her tiny stature only adds to her charm.
Personality: Innocent, sweet, and empathetic, Marie has a heart full of love for everyone around her. Her friendly nature makes her too precious for her own good, and both Wriothesley and Cameron find themselves constantly watching over her to keep her safe and sound. Though you and Wriothesley hadn’t planned on a second child, Marie came as a beautiful blessing that your family embraced wholeheartedly, filling your lives with even more joy and love.
Nicknames: Angel, Love (a tender nickname from you). Mae (mostly Cameron’s affectionate name for her). Sunshine, Sweetheart, Baby girl (often used by Wriothesley).
Trivia: Marie’s first word was “Cam,” showing the deep bond she shares with her older brother. Her favorite drink is almond milk, which she always asks for with a big smile, and she loves crabs and jellyfish.
.

If there’s a list of books or plays or movies or tv series that influenced Eskew/TSV what’d be the top 10?
Probably different every time someone asks! But today let's go with...
Kafka's Castle / Trial / Penal Colony / Metamorphosis, Ligotti's Kafka-inspired stories (e.g The Town Manager) and other semi-adjacent absurdists and brilliant weirdos (Daniil Kharms, David Lynch, Hans Henny Jahn, Kobo Abe, arguably Fernando Pessoa?) who like to deal with social performance, human reaction and the pretence of normality in the face of unbearable strangeness, monstrous impositions and nightmare logic
Beckett's Happy Days / Endgame / Not I / WfG / Malone trilogy for the tragically pointless but inescapable search for meaning and fulfilment in ourselves, in our memories, in other people, in this wasted landscape, etc
Junji Ito's Uzumaki / Gyo / Amigara Fault / other stuff for powerfully making the argument that ludicrous horrors are also terrifying and gross horrors are also hilarious
Works that explore the helpless terror and allure in being horribly transfigured into a final shape that makes sense of us (The Fly / Videodrome, Annihilation, Ovid's Metamorphoses, Society, Ito again) or relatedly the shameless joy of setting fire to our social and familial and societal environment and embracing the wild, devilish, bestial and profane (a lot of stuff, but I'm thinking of the works of Angela Carter and Leonora Carrington and also The Witch and Carrie, that one Clarice Lispector book where she eats a bug)
Dostoevsky's Devils, Crime and Punishment and Notes from Underground for his unsurpassed collection of asocial self-obsessives having an existentially bad time and handling that poorly
The 1973 double bill of The Wicker Man / Don't Look Now for exploring the tragedy and horror of how our search for meaning may entrap us into a dead end of meaningless horrors
All of LeGuin's fiction but particularly The Dispossessed and Omelas.
The Wire for its peerless portrayal of a cast of complicated and largely unheroic human beings all attempting to either reach or destroy one another but who are ultimately all adrift and alone in the modern supersystem. The Wire and The Lives of Others for affirming the worth of even futile and powerless to support others who are suffering within that supersystem.
Any and all shit about strange and awful environments which may possibly possess a malevolent will or which are perhaps merely beholden to their own natural laws and we are the ones drawn to destroy ourselves within them (The Stone Tapes and many of Nigel Kneale's other works, The Children of Green Noah, The Haunting of Hill House, Roadside Picnic / Stalker, The Terror, The Minpins, Annihilation again, The Island of Morel, I know House of Leaves is a perfect fit for this but personally I always found it a bit hacky)
Riddley Walker, A Canticle for Leibowitz, and other post-apocalyptic work - to some extent Mad Max and the better Fallout games apply - that find the value and humanity (while recognising the potential for self-destruction) in our absurd efforts to construct meaning and to tell meaningful stories from out of the ruin and chaos all around us.
There's other stuff - The Silt Verses steals a lot of its initial atmospherics from True Detective Season 1, both shows are inevitably in dialogue with the mechanics and themes of Lovecraftian cosmic horror even if I wouldn't call Lovecraft a positive influence - but that's a pretty good list, I think.

🌞Sun in Houses🌞
☀Your sun is your basic personality. It helps you to find your individuality and who you really are. Your sun sign is giving you natural talents. It's your ego. It's your self sense. It represents your will to live. Where you have the sun in your house is where you find light and where you find the most inspiration. And also shows how you can inspire others and help them find the light.
🫧Sun in 1st house- people, for some reason, will always find you to be an inspirational person. They will always somehow find the light in you or something positive about you. You can give off a very positive energy. And even if you are not confident, others will see you as if you are. A lot of inspiration comes through you. And you find a lot of light when you delve deeper into yourself and your personality. And your ego is visible on the outside and you show it that way too. Your will to live shows through what you do.
🍹Sun in 2nd house- you can find your inspiration and satisfaction through money, food, music, luxury. I won't lie, money and expensive things can actually inspire you, and maybe through that you can find hope and the will to live. You can also compete with people who has more money. Or you want to have everything the best or better than others. Since the sun is your ego, you can feed yourself in a way that shows how much money you have or with material things. You show your pride through material things and your value can also be shown in this way (depending on other signs, but sometimes you can feel that you are important or worth something if you have money). People with this placement sometimes find it difficult to find a personality that is not associated with materialism.
🏝️Sun in 3rd house- you find inspiration through books, writing, reading, communication. You want people to see the light through your way of expression. Your ego shows through writing and communication (maybe you always want to have the last word). Your natural talent is to remember a lot, to encourage people with your speech. You can gain a lot of people on social networks. Your will to live is shown through your thinking and thinking. You can be most inspired through your thoughts.
💕Sun in 4th house- You find inspiration in your family or through your family. It can also be a home that you create yourself. Many times you protect the family. You also find the light through family. They become the owner of immovable property, which also adds to the assets that they possess. You do everything to help your friends and you are very supportive for them. In the family, you can often be seen as a person who gives positivity and light - you can also bring the family together. You are very attached to yout home and dream of a beautiful domestic life that you can make for yourself to feel secure. The way you evolve and make things happen later in life would be pretty much connected with your memories.
💜Sun in 5th house- the sun is at home here, so your energy here is very good and positive. You can always find happiness, joy - you know how to create an environment for you that suits you best. You find your motivation and light through your hobbies, joy, playfulness, childhood, romance. You may be very attached to your childhood and want to always have it with you. People always notice you and your talnets too. Usually these people become recognizable. In love with sports and very dramatic. Because they love life and children, they can make the great party organizers for the birthdays of little ones. With this placement, you should be careful not to become too self-absorbed.
🛁Sun in 6th house- you find your light through routine, health, body. It is important that you are connected to your body and that you love yourself the way you are. Because the sun here can become critical of your body. Which means you can find yourself through imperfection. You do things that are healthy for you and your body. At the same time, you can find a lot of good energy and inspiration through animals. Your ego can be noticed many times at work. Maybe it's better if you do something you see passion in it. You can inspire people through a healthy lifestyle or sports.
🧸Sun in 7th house- you find light through the relationships you have with people. It is important for you to get along with everyone and you like to inspire others. Relationship with this one person is also important to you, perhaps this is what complements your personality. Sometimes it can be difficult for you to be alone or to find inspiration outside of it. You can also be strongly influenced by others’ opinions on you, be it from your partner or someone from work. You are very proud of your negotiating skills and ability to bring the peace everywhere. You can also be a person who motivates others with your relationship (and that everyone can achieve a beautiful relationship).
🌊Sun in 8th house- your true personality is hidden from others and you usually find light through things that are deep, hidden, behind the scenes. Your ego shows itself many times when you are jealous or when someone notices others before you. You you may find yourself driven to understand the depths of your own nature so that you come to terms with the power you hold within. You like power and control. You could be fascinated by the workings of psyche, helping to create emotional transformation and lasting change. Self acceptance then comes from seeing others in their true light. You can find your will to live deep within yourself.
⛵️🎸Sun in 9th house- you find inspiration in travels. You see life as full of opportunities and new things. Places can take you over and you can always find your favorite place. Many times you can look for a place under the sun. You are a person who can teach others a lot and can tell many interesting stories. You get to know the most things when you travel, and that's also good for your soul. Places by the water or places that take you over are the best for you. Your belief is best seen through your passion for life. You can be a very good teacher to others and help them find faith and inspiration. Sun here indicates that you will understand who you are by exploring the world. Intuitive about deeper meanings and following what life has to offer for the soul, they will look to experience with people and situations that make them develop as philosophers.
☁️Sun in 10th house-you may feel motivated to fulfill your ambitions and so will drawn toward accepting responsibility or embracing executive positions. It can be harder to find motivation, inspiration and light - but it comes later in life. Many times you look for yourself through the audience, your parents or your father. You want to find the personality that suits you best. Sun here motivates you to have a strong influence and to get recognized while you’re also satisfying your thirst for power and make your dreams come true.
🪷Sun in 11th house-you are most motivated through your dreams, goals, friends. You find a lot of happiness and inspiration through friends. You are also very open minded. When you don’t have the same interest as someone, you prefer to leave that person behind. Because you adapt almost instantly to new groups and situations, you’ll fit in everywhere. These people also post a lot on social networks. Usually these are some things with which they inspire others. Maybe when people see your profile they feel better and you give them hope.
🩵Sun in 12th house- you find inspiration through everything that is hidden from others. Your personality is hidden from others and you like it because that way you can feel the safest. You are more productive when you do things alone and when you do them at night. Belief can be found through spirituality, subconsciousness, dance, music, art, or something related to your thoughts. Meditation and yoga are also good here. Sun is the representative of the ego and identity, this house is among other things, about limits and the line between what’s real and what’s completely strange. This means natives with this aspect are confused about who they are and about life altogether. Finding yourself and becoming determined, confident and starting to believe in yourself and your abilities is the key here.

Come to think of it, I really like doing worldbuilding in common misconceptions caused by survivor/sample bias. I got too gleefully into infodumping about worlds I made up, so I'm going to be merciful and throw a cut-off right here:
(damn, you're still reading? Well, that's on you. Here we go.)
In The Book I Am Not Writing, the fisher folk have very strict concepts of ritual purity, being strict about seemingly arbitrary rules of cleanliness, and they simply don't do extramarital relationships. They are, however, polygamous both ways, so consulting the other spouses about introducing another wife or husband into the marriage is always an option. They also seem to have absurdly large flocks of children. Being both an unusual ethnicity who are commonly considered pretty, and also essentially completely off-limits for casual sex, they are often fetishised, and there's a myth that fisher men are so insanely good in bed that their wives simply cannot resist the temptation of their four sexy husbands even if they're otherwise absolutely done getting pregnant all the time.
The truth is a lot more complicated than that. First of all, in the multiple-spouse marriages, all children are raised between all parents and many clans consider it inappropriate to inquire which kids are biologically whose, so if one or two of the partners has fertility issues, nobody from the outside would know. And the seemingly arbitrary purity rules aren't all that random either - many of them actually ensure a higher standard of hygiene than what other cultures around them have. This, and restrictions about marrying within one's own clan to avoid inbreeding, ensure healthier children. They aren't fucking and getting pregnant more than any other peoples, they have more children because of lower infant mortality.
The Travellers are also "outsiders" living in diaspora, who are - as their name implies - itinerant and never stay in one place for long. Not by choice, though many of them will say they'd rather live this way than to ever settle down, but because almost all towns and cities have discriminatory laws explicitly prohibiting Travellers in particular from staying in the city for too long, or limiting how many of them can be allowed within the city walls at the same time. They don't call themselves Travellers, but refuse to tell outsiders what their own language's name is for their own people, out of fear that the name would be appropriated and turned into a slur. Secrecy is the only privacy that they are allowed to have.
An unusually large number of Travellers also have unusual physical traits, dysmorphic structural features, and congenital disabilities. This is used as xenophobic cannon fodder by citizens of the Empire, treated as proof that the Travellers are so morally crooked that it even deforms their bodies. This, of course, is bullshit. In truth, Travellers do not have any more disabled or deformed babies than anyone else - what they do have is a strong culture of NEVER abandoning one of their own. No matter what. So while people of the Empire associate health and beauty with moral goodness, and consider having "imperfect" babies shameful, Travellers simply don't practice the common peoples' common habit of abandoning or discreetly 'disposing' of children who aren't likely to survive into adulthood, or who will need support their entire lives. "What can be done to one of us, they will do to all of us" is how they live, so nobody gets left behind.
On the opposite end of society there are the Baronesses, the Empire's all-female army of trained magic-wielders. A military class, whose inherent magical powers do not even manifest in every child or even every generation, but when it does, it's always on girls. Daughters are trained for combat, they are the ones to carry on the family name. Since a woman does not need to be married in order to be sure that all her children are hers, sons are not particularly valued even as political tokens for arranged marriages. It is considered common knowledge that there's something in "wielder blood" that makes the male carriers of it weak just as it makes the female ones strong, and that is considered the reason why the male members of wielder families tend to be so dysfunctional, emotionally frail, rampant with substance abuse and more likely to die in the womb or in early infancy.
It is politely never questioned how downright convenient it is that it just happens to be the less wanted sex who are far, far more likely to simply perish away for no apparent reason, especially when it comes to the most harsh, highest-ranking, and most competitive wielder families.
Far across the great ocean, on the opposite corner of the map of the world that the Empire knows of, are the Northlands. Almost mythical mystical lands, that are the source of the various types of thick white pelts and some other exotic goods, commonly supposed to be populated by completely wild, savage people. Northmen are all lumped together, as most people of the Empire would find it hard to believe that the Northmen have even one civilised culture, not to speak of consisting of several cultures and creeds with their own languages and customs. The only few Northmen that the Empire has seen have been foreign sailors in port towns, or perhaps someone's unit of rare exotic bodyguards, undoubtedly a weird flex.
Northmen are considered feral, and the "civilised" ones a strange exception to a supposed rule. It is said that they are exclusively carnivores, eating only meat like tigers and drinking only alcohol. That they are nocturnal, with eyes like cats and wolves that gleam in the dark, and that sunlight hurts them. The sun never rises in their lands, so naturally the people are as pale as cave olms, just like the pelts of their animals are all white. And just like cats and wolves, their infants are all born with blind blue eyes, which either stay blue or turn yellow once they grow.
This, too, is a mishmash of myth and half-truth. Northfolk who venture this far south are more likely to eat meat than any fruit or vegetable they are offered, since they are more familiar with what goat or chicken taste like than any fruit of this strange climate. Northland alcohols are generally bitter ales and dry wines, and the sweet liquors and strong wines of Southlands are a treasured luxury for the ones who are familiar with them, and a very fast way to get shitfaced if one isn't. They aren't nocturnal at home, but having no other protection from the relentless sun, they do prefer to move at dusk to avoid getting sunburn. And The Long Night only lasts a few weeks or months, but that's difficult to explain to people whose common language doesn't have words for "snow" or "winter."
There are no Nothfolk with yellow eyes, but blue eyes are very common, and to Southland people to whom both eye colours are unnatural and associated exclusively with beasts and carnivores, they rarely notice that they've never seen a yellow-eyed one. And being born with blue eyes like wolf pups and kittens isn't a myth, that really is a thing that happens to white people.

another thing that's weird about adults who make an identity out of reading children's books is what they hold up as representative of the values they find in YA/young reader's fiction. They typically bring up wish fulfillment fantasy, morals and clear cut lessons, adventure stories with mild peril, strong centering on friendship and found family, and stories that make them "feel good" and are extremely light on genuinely challenging themes or ethically dubious situations.
Meanwhile when I was neck-deep in YA as a kid in the 90s and early 2000s this was the kind of stuff I was reading, other kids were reading, and that was winning awards, being highlighted on shelves and recommended by librarians:
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, in which a teenage boy survives a plane crash and is stranded in the Canadian wilderness and forced to survive on his own for months. He is ultimately rescued but is permanently altered by the experience. His navigating the drama of (I believe either currently separating or recently divorced) parents is also a major plot element.
Virtual War by Gloria Skurzynski, where real-life wars have been eradicated and instead are fought virtually, (inspired, if I remember correctly, by the disastrous results of a previous nuclear conflict) by specially chosen champions who are trained in combat strategy from childhood. Throughout, the three child champions are forced to question and push back against what the government has told them is the truth as well as against their own prejudices, including toward one of their own who is considered a "mutant" due to his dwarfism; it also details the grueling hours-long "war" in which the kids watch thousands of little 3D soldiers get blown up and dismembered and leaves them feeling genuine guilt for participating in.
Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George, which focuses on a teenage Inuit girl who is orphaned, forced into marriage and sexually assaulted, then runs away and ends up lost in the Arctic and survives by befriending and living with a pack of wolves.
Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse, in which the heroine lives with her parents on a failing farm as the Dust Bowl is beginning, accidentally sets her pregnant mother on fire resulting in her mother's lingering death and the death of her baby, and the girl herself being permanently maimed, after which she and her father become estranged and she eventually tries to run away.
Summer of My German Soldier by Bette Greene, which follows a young Jewish American girl on the WWII homefront who befriends (and falls in love with) a German POW, and when he escapes, hides him in her home for months; eventually the prisoner is caught and killed and the girl is sent to prison after being ostracized from the community and disowned by her parents.
The Ramsey Scallop by Francis Temple, where the heroine, engaged since childhood to her current fiance, is sent on a pilgrimage with him as way of working out his trauma from serving in the crusades. Neither of them feels ready to get married and the fiance is dubious about doing much living at all, but they're able to get to know each other and build trust on the road. It's been ages since I read it but I'm pretty sure there's a scene where a hot single guy who helps patch up an injury she sustained then offers to have sex with her, which she decides to turn down.
Music of the Dolphins by Karen Hesse, where a feral child who has been raised by a pod of dolphins is rescued and taken to a center for rehabilitation. The whole thing follows her progress at understanding to how to be human, and eventually her decision to reject it all and go back to her dolphin family.
The Last Book In the Universe by Rodman Philbrick, whose hero is a teenage orphan living in a purposely abandoned dystopia, ostracized by his community for being epileptic, whose only friends are an old man who is the last literate person in the community and a monosyllabic feral child. The split between the have-nots and the haves, who live in sheltered futuristic cities, and discussion of privilege (one of the main characters is a girl from the cities who comes out to do charity work in the dystopian district) are major themes, and violence is a regular occurrence, including toward the finale when the boy's mentor is murdered by a mob while he watches.
(And of course there's Among the Hidden and its sequels by Margaret Peterson Haddix which I never read, but my sister did, and I know at some point a whole bunch of child characters are massacred by the government because it upset my sister so badly she cried.)
And I couldn't forget The Dear America series, which includes:
character who is finishing high school as the Vietnam War begins and watches her social circle split nastily over the issue, lives through classmates and friends getting drafted, and ends up working at a hospital as volunteer where she is assigned to help disabled veterans
character whose mother (and I think siblings), as well as numerous fellow travelers die while traveling alongside her on the Oregon Trail, and later accidentally poisons to death several of her friends after picking a look-alike plant for their dinner; only one survives, who she eventually marries
character who is kidnapped by a local native tribe and eventually adopted, then marries a fellow captive, only for him and other friends and family to be killed when the tribe is attacked by Europeans, putting her into a total crisis of identity and conflicting loyalties
character who is taken from her tribe to be put in residential school, during which she is forcefully acculturated, severely bullied by another classmate, and a childhood friend of hers is accidentally buried alive
multiple books about immigrants in the 1800 and 1900s which highlighted struggles with poverty, cultural pressures, and prejudice; one of them follows a pro-union factory worker who watches as multiple friends die in the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, and another whose father imports her to America at 13 to marry a coal miner
most of these stories emphasize the young protagonist ending up in situations were they are either on their own, or so alienated from the adults around them that they might as well be. The protagonists have to assume the adult duty of taking care of themselves, but also of thinking for themselves and making their own decisions and judgements about their lives and the world.
they are also going through big changes, often ones created by their parent's decisions, and which they frequently dislike or are straight up Bad for them. This contrasts with later, when the protagonists are able to make decisions for themselves-- often this comes through hardship and abandonment, but ultimately allows them to control their narrative going forward.
the setting and events are often harrowing, deeply unpleasant, and put the protagonist and their friends in danger of victimization by forces around them. Obviously this is exciting for kids to read, but it also allows them to see someone their age on their own, entering into Adult situations and taking on that role. It's also a break from the overtly positive or cartoonishly (but usually un-seriously) bad circumstances that dominate younger kids fiction and an introduction to the idea that life is just terrible most of the time, sometimes massively and unbelievably so. (It's going from the early childhood story of Madeline's thrilling adventures escaping forced labor in a factory, to the older kid's or YA story of seeing the protagonist work at one day after day, getting injured, having friends get sick, and then watching a girl's scalp get ripped off by the machine, something which creates not excitement but genuine horror and sympathy.) These plots also allow adolescents a chance to experience Big Emotions (like the ones they're about to fall head-first into themselves) in a stable, safe way. All of this aims to create a bridge from the juvenile reality to the genuine, adult one. Trite moral lessons are dispensed with in favor of allowing the child to go out and start thinking for themselves. And especially in stories like the Dear America books, it allows a look at things that happened in the past that we have, or should learn from, but also allows for a fuller emotional, ethical, and empathetic development.
often the introduction of sex is part of the story, from initial experiences of attraction (and the resulting self-consciousness, jealousy, etc.) but also sometimes actual sexual experience. Especially in the historical stories, marriage is also frequently part of the story-- either again, as a fantasy introduction to adult experiences, or as a realistic detail separating a child's historical experience from current ones and creating a better understanding of the hardships historical people went through.
and most include some form of rejection of prevailing authority and thought. Instead of blindly "doing what your parents tell you to" these protagonists must do what they think is practical or ethical. The boy in Hatchet cannot wait for an authority figure to guide him, he must figure out how to survive entirely on his own, while the kids in Virtual War are old enough to begin questioning the entire structure they've been raised in, and to develop empathy for figures that structure has deemed outsiders; the heroine of Music of the Dolphins decides the entire experience of being in human society is not for her, and returns to living with animals.
So these books offer harrowing circumstances, protagonists who are isolated literally or through moral or political alignment, and who must learn to live on their own and make decisions for themselves, often in defiance of prevailing attitudes. They usually emphasize finding one's place (even if that place is completely alone and unsupported), fostering understanding and sympathy with others, even with people who are considered "undesirable," who are different, or who have behaved badly to you in the past. And they frequently involve violence, budding sexuality, exploitation and abuse by authority figures/structures, and a heaping helping of death, including the deaths of beloved friends and family members. What is "feel good" and "unchallenging" about that? And like, I can't speak for what YA is bringing to the table now, but these people are overwhelmingly adults, they were reading YA at around the same time I was, I don't think it would be possible for them to have somehow missed the plethora of books with these hallmarks. So where did they get this idea that YA is some land of comfort where no complicated idea can ever reach you? Even Harry Potter is full of them, and we know they read that!

I think modern society has major issues with mistaking correlation for causation and it's causing a lot of problems.
For example, some years back, there was a study showing that young children from households with a lot of books were scoring higher on literacy tests and doing better academically, whether or not their parents read to them. So everybody decided that books were magical and their mere presence improved kids' ability to learn, and they started a charity to distribute children's books to low-income families.
Now, on a moral level, there is nothing wrong with this. Very few people would argue that it's bad to give books to poor kids. And it probably did some good for some of those kids. But it didn't have the huge dramatic impact that many people were hoping for, because higher literacy rates were not caused by the presence of books. Both of those things were caused by the same third factor.
What kind of person owns a lot of books? What attributes do they value? What traits would they encourage in their children?
It was never about the books. It was always about the parents.
Now for a more disastrous example:
Decades ago, people noticed that college graduates were getting better jobs and earning more money, and they decided that meant everyone should go to college and then everyone would be more successful.
But that's not what happened.
If a particular achievement is seen as optional, then having that achievement says something about you. Back then, a college degree told employers that a prospective hire was someone who went above and beyond, who was willing to work harder to improve their skills and knowledge.
Once college is treated like it's mandatory, a college degree is scarcely more meaningful than a high school diploma.
And the presence of a degree cannot confer upon you the attitude and work ethic that leads to success any more than the presence of books can bestow literacy skills.
Now we have millions of people who took out massive student loans on the promise of success that are left with mountains of debt and mediocre prospects, and we keep shoveling millions more into increasingly corrupted and worthless schools with that same empty promise.
But it was never about the degree. It was always about the kind of person that earned one.
So, my dad was working for IBM back when corporations started listing college degrees as a requirement for employment. He was a data entry guy for the old style punch card computers, which means when someone wanted to ask the computer something they came to him, he set up the punch card, fed it into the computer, and read out the answer. When all these college graduates started getting hired, his job changed. Now, it was his responsibility to train them how to do his job. But, you sensibly ask, didn't they have college degrees? Didn't they learn all this in college? And the answer is yes, they did have college degrees. They all has MBA's, which taught them nothing about how to work computers. IBM just listed "MBA" as a requirement for every non-secretarial/custodial job because they thought having a large number of college graduates on staff sounded good. So these kids spent four years in college only to come out and get not only a low paying data entry job instead of the middle manager job they were expecting, but once they got that job they needed my dad to give them on the job training they could have gotten four years earlier with no money spent on college if the job listing didn't list an MBA as a requirement. In the stories my dad told me, most of these people quit after a year because they were told in college that this degree would get them a better job, and they didn't want to be lowly data entry people.
And nothing's really changed. Jobs that can easily be taught via on the job training or an apprenticeship model require college degrees. Colleges and guidance counselors lie about what kind of job a graduate can expect. And now you have over educated people loading up the Keurig machine at Starbucks to pay off their student debt because there are too many college graduates all going after the same jobs and not enough of those jobs to go around. Mandatory college has always been a scam. It's an artificial requirement that only exists because businesses think it looks good to hire people who have a piece of paper they can hang on the wall. The fact is, only very specialized jobs where on the job training wouldn't work need a college graduate. But there are billions of dollars at stake in the college racket, so on it goes.

20 Minutes | dad!peter imagine
A/N: just a quick one before I sleep. I saw a gif from we live in time and just suddenly became very needy for some dad Peter again. It’s been a little while, hope you enjoy. If you know the Bluey episode that inspired, you are a real one and I have love for you. Also MJ stands for May Junior
Warnings: this is just some dad!peter fluff, everyday domestic parent stuff even though your hubby is the local superhero
The moment he climbs through the window, he’s already wishing he was back in the other side of it.
“Ahhh good, you’re home.” You say cheerfully as you enter the room. “Here, hold this.” You say, holding out your two and a half month old to him, just as a cry of “Muuuuuuuuumm!” called out to down the hall.
“What? The? Huh? What?” Peter frowns at you confused as he stands in the middle of the room in his spider suite, toddler in his outstretched hands as you’re already beginning to leave the room, another call of “muuuuuuuuummm!” echoing down the hall.
“I just need 20 minutes.” You tell him.
“But I just got in.” He protests.
“20 minutes.” You reason cheerfully, like it’s no time at all and he will be fine.
“Maaaaaaaahhhhmmm!” The voice down the hall comes again and he can see the way your shoulders rise and the corners of your lip twitch at your 4 year olds whine of your household moniker.
“Daddy’s coming in just a minute!” You call back to the young girl out in the living room.
“Can I at least take the suit off?” Peter tries to reason as the toddler in his hand starts to pull at the stretchy material.
“Just 20 minutes.” You repeat to him again as you begin to back away. “20 minutes.” You say. You can hear his small frustrated huff that no doubt was paired with the famous Parker eye roll, but you didn’t care. If you didn’t get 20 minutes to yourself and a moment to go to the bathroom in peace, you were probably going to throw yourself out of the window your husband just climbed through.
Okay maybe that was a little dramatic, but in your defence he had been out longer than he said he would on patrol and MJ has regressed back into her clingy phase. As you locked the bathroom door and pulled out your phone in order to have a quick scroll through social media and a catch up whilst you sat on the loo, the reason for your husbands tardiness quickly became apparent.
There was video after video popping up of footage from peoples phones of Spider-Man saving a family from a car wreck. As you watched the masked figure swing into action again and again from different angles, watched him pull the two kids from the back of the burning car, your irritation before quickly subsided, instead making way for pride; for your husband, his family values, his care for the people of your community. Memory after memory of him sharing both special and also mundane moments with your two children flooded your mind, making your heart glow and your tummy all fuzzy and warm.
When you eventually emerged from the bathroom 20 minutes later and made your way back down the hall, that fuzzy feeling only grew as you saw him sat on the sofa with your two children tucked in tightly to either side of him. He had put on your fluffy robe over the top of his suit, the legs and sleeves poking out beneath the pink fabric comically, as he read a book to them.
As he turned the last page, MJ cried, “Again, again, read it again daddy.”
“But May, I’ve already read it to you three times. Maybe we should give another book a go.” He tried to sway her.
“Again!” She insisted and you loved the way he laughed with her as she giggled at her own cheekiness.
He looked up to you then as you leant against the door frame, hopefully. “Or maybe Mommy can read it.” He stated.
“Orrr,” you began to counter as you saw May’s eyes light up at the sight of you and the prospect of you reading her, her favourite book of the moment for the umpteenth time that day, “we could go out for ice cream.” You suggested.
There was a piercing shriek as May got up from the sofa at the sound of the trigger word. “IIICCCEEEECREEEEAAMM!” She screeched before running off to find her shoes.
“Ice cream?” Peter asks with raised brow as he stands to hand off your youngest back to you.
“Yeah,” you say with a coy smile, “I think we’ve all earned it.”
“Well, if that’s the case, I best go get out of this suit then.” He muses.
“Oh really?” You whine. “But this is such a good look on you.” You joke.
“It’s a good thing I love you Mrs Parker.” He grins, a leaning forward to kiss your lips.
“I love you too.” You smile.
“IIIICCEEEEE CRRREEEAAAMMM!” May bellowed excitedly as she came back in the room, her shoes on the wrong feet and her jacket inside out. Both of you couldn’t help but laugh.
“You get changed, I’ll help her out.” You smile.
“I love you.” He says again as he begins to back away. “You’re my hero!” He shouted across the room to you, reminding you your just as resilient and heroic as he was- and sure, you couldn’t swing from buildings or save kids from the back of burning cars, but you could look after both your kids alone for 6-8 hours of the day and live to tell the tail; and that in itself was a heroic act too.
