❛  don't go.  ❜ [to Reiji, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He had planned out everything for today, everything to the last detail. It was a necessity as much as it was a preference. With opportunities to do as he pleased limited due to the constant eyes always preying on his every move, he had to make the most whenever such a chance opened up. That's why he planned to leave the house at this specific moment, with his father and his guards preoccupied with a routine meeting, to go and visit the Rainsworth House for an important meeting with the Hatter regarding the recent poisoning incident.
At least...that was his intention, anyway. For as soon as he arose from his desk and prepared to leave his private study in which only he had access to, the tiny voice of someone called out to him: the voice of who he considered his youngest sibbling. And it stopped him in his tracks. Immediately.
Reiji turns to face Reira, then his amethyst hues, searching for the child's own from behind his crimson glasses. He's experienced their distress in the past when it came to matters involving their separation. It was clear Reira did not like being left alone. He certainly expected as much today. What he didn't expect, and what got him to freeze in place, was the fact such a thing was expressed...through words.
Reira was a child who, due to his father's experiments, had lost their sense of self. This, of course, was intentional on the mad scientist's end, for he wanted a vessel in which his own desires could be molded to, much akin to a puppet or doll. It was after seeing this cruelty, one that his own mother supported, that Reiji decided to take action against them for the first time in his life, saving the life of the youth in the process and taking them in as his own sibling. Ever since that day, he's been trying to help them regain a sense of identity, the sense that was stripped away from them without their consent for the sake of power and greed.
So far they have made some progress together ,but this current development was by far the biggest step so far. For Reira not only displayed a desire, a want, of their own, they also vocalized it with words, even if it was only two of them. Such was a sign that their sense of self was growing, a development that pleased Reiji despite his stoic countenance remaining as it always did.
"Reira. Answer my question." His gaze shifts in their direction, his voice is neutral and yet has a bit of softness to it. He wanted to probe and see if Reira was capable of explaining themselves, another step towards regaining their sense of self and identity.
Tumblr media
"What is your reasoning for your request? If you are concerned about being left unattended and unprotected, then there is no need to fear. Kurosaki, Tenjo, and his younger brother will supervise you until I return." Those three were the only people he trusted to care for Reira in his absence. He certainly couldn't trust any of his sisters, especially not Ray, with such a task. They were people he did not yet trust with his plan to stop his father and his research for good, after all.

Things I noticed my second time watching Transformers One
Restricted access to information - the first scene is literally Orion, breaking into an archive. obviously, Sentinel is trying to restrict access to information to keep the couggler spots from figuring out the truth.
Only cogeless bots use the trains - What if the whole reason they have trains is because cogeless can't transform and need other ways to travel.
The cogeless are so small - this got me thinking about a whole bunch of things. Are they supposed to grow as they get older, but couldn't because they couldn't transform?
The bar the Orion landed in only has bots with coges- there's obviously a good deal of prejudice from the transformers against the coggle spots, so are there like transformers only establishment?
D is worried about getting punished after the race - have they been punished before and for what? Are cogeless not allowed to do certain things
How long is a cycle? - obviously, a cycle is equivalent to a year, but from past media, we know that a cybertronian year is a lot longer than an earth year. But how long exactly?
D has so much anger throughout the entire movie. - I only really caught this on my second time watching, but D has a lot of anger throughout the entire movie, he just hides it very well.
Food shortage - there's probably a food shortage in Icon. We see orion grabbing as many cubes as he can from the bar, and Sentinel says that they barely have enough for their own citizens.
Does Alpha tryon think a bunch of kids have come to save him? From his perspective, he just got woken up by child sized bots. What is going through his head?
The high guard has become really demoralized. - Was it always like that? Or did starscrem leadership make them like that? Obviously, if they were trusted by the primes for so long, they must have had some moral backbone once upon his hime, so was it just that the fifty cycles they sped on the surface turn them into a might makes right cult?
Sental told everyone they died - looking back on it sentinel, prime always intended to get rid of them.He probably told dark wing to throw them down to sub level fifty.
The transformers only seemed concerned with the transmission ater Sentinel nails to the quintisomes - like I said earlier there's probably a good bit of classism between the Transformers and the cogless and some of the elite Transformers knew about the miners having their cogs ripped out, but didn't know about the quintesons.
The little ranking singly as that they are wearing. - we see D stomp his after the truth is revealed, but I didn't notice that they're all wearing them.
The longer the movie goes on, the more orion's voice sounds like Optimus Prime.
Other stuff
The little kid in front of me say "no why did you do that" when D shot Orion
Megatrons are at eyes are so cool
The way the music cuts for Optimist

Do you have any thoughts on Karenumati and Vijaya?
PS: I love your writing!!!
SO many thoughts!
Karenumati:
Baby.
No, seriously, she's the baby of the PandavaParivaara.
Pampered daughter, definitely. I like to think Shishupala loved his daughter very much, it adds complexities (TM) to their relationship.
She's also pampered by her sisters-in-law/brothers-in-law and Mata Kunti ALL THE TIME. (She feels a bit suffocated at times.)
She fell madly in love with Nakula when she was pretty young, and Shishupala was loathe to deny his daughter anything so he proposed a marriage alliance when she was old enough.
I headcanon her as a curious person. She wants to know the why and the how of everything and anything under the sun. Combine this with the indulgence of literally everyone around her: she asks WAY too many questions (and not always the most tactful ones).
She feels like a replacement many times. When she was younger it stemmed from Shishupala's side glances when he was in a sullen mood (she wondered if he ever thought of his imagined children with Rukmini and judged her wanting); sometimes in Indraprastha she feels like a side-piece, a little ornament that is handled with too much care and only put on display for people to fawn over.
Other than Sahadeva, she gets along with Yudhishthira the most out of all her brothers-in-law. Surprising? Maybe. Despite the wide age gap, Yudhishthira's kindness does not feel indulging; no matter how many questions she asks, he always answers patiently.
Nakula takes her on the best outings and always treats her devastatingly romantically. She loves it, but sometimes she provokes arguments with him just to feel a little bit older.
She desperately wants to understand Rukmini better, but after seeing her father for so many years, she cannot help the distance that is between them every time they meet. But ater Shishupala's death, she breaks down in Rukmini's arms.
She is the stricter parent when it comes to raising Niramitra, having experienced how too much indulgence can spoil you.
She enjoys spending the most time with the kids in Indraprastha (or anywhere else, really) because they only know her as someone older than them and they will treat her with respect because of it.
Krishnaa and Vijayaa are also two of the few people who give her due accord and treat her like an equal. While everyone else do try their best and pull it off most of the time, Renu does feel like they still think of her as a child/younger so they are less likely to treat her as older.
Vijayaa:
I like to call her the Tinkerer.
Hehe. But yes, to me, Vijayaa rarely has need for words because she is always busy tinkering with something, taking it apart or fixing it.
Her hands are never still; they're always busy with some object or the other. If there's nothing in her hands, she cannot keep them still and it's a tic of hers to constantly fidget.
Even while she's in court, she'll be poking at something or the other, and everyone smiles fondly at her.
So. She rarely speaks, much like Sahadeva. She has a soft, lilting voice that can carry across an audience, however, and the kids will often run to her with requests for bedtime stories.
She and Sahadeva loved each other since they were young teenagers, and they would steal time together on his visits to Madra. It wasn't even a question of who she would choose in her svayamvara ceremony.
Her family would tease her about not needing to hold a svayamvara and skip directly to the marriage directly, but she held her ground firmly on wanting a svayamvara for the kingdom's sake.
Their love is quiet but no less passionate than their siblings' more fiery, whirlwind romances. Vijayaa knows she'll always have someone to speak all her unspoken thoughts to in Sahadeva; and Sahadeva knows Vijayaa will always sit in him with silence for hours or days if need be.
She takes Karenumati under her wing when she arrives at Indraprastha, recognizing her need to prove herself and a person to express herself freely with.
Her love language is gifting others; she makes the most beautiful things with her own hands and gifts them to all her family members. She's always working on passion projects; Sahadeva brings back interesting knick-knacks from the corners of the country when he's out travelling because he knows what she likes.
She didn't have many friends in her childhood despite being one of Madra's princesses, because she was too quiet and too absorbed in the works of her hands. The other noble daughters would frequently tease her for this, but she never paid them much heed.
One of her works that she's most proud of is the intricate gold bangles she crafted from scratch for Krishnaa when she gave birth to Shrutasena. Krishnaa never takes them off. (Not even during the Dyuta, I would like to say.)
She tries her best to see Lakshmanaa at least once a year, which is no hardship considering how often the Yadavas visit Indraprastha or the other way around, and frequently writes long letters to her cousin.
That's about it for now, I think? That was long. But I do love the PandavaPatnis.

Hi, it's me again ahahha. I enjoyed your writing on Ikemen Prince with Baby on work~
Can you also do one for Chevalier and Clavis? 🥺😁
Ahaha I have to admit, this is something I've thought about from time to time. So, here's approx. 1300 words of Chev and Clavis as papas!
Chevalier
Chevalier stared down at the squirming little thing in his arms. It was the most ridiculous creature. Big, ice-blue eyes stared back at him intently, set in a face much like his own. “If I put you down, are you going to cry?”
The baby - his daughter - burbled at him nonsensically and then grabbed at his cloak. She caught the fur and stuck it right into her mouth.
Chevalier patiently removed the fur from her grasp. “What did I tell you? Only food goes into your mouth.” His strict voice belied the tender look in his eyes as he said it, though he did not realize what expression he wore when he looked at his daughter. “I wonder how any child lives to adulthood, sticking random things in their mouths.” He was very sure he’d never done that and there was no one around but Sariel to dispute him.
The baby did not have an answer for him, but she waved her hands in the air above her, reaching for his cloak again.
He unhooked it and laid it against the back of the chair, safely out of baby-reach. Proactive strategy. Difficult when your opponent gave you so little to work with. “Now. I am going to read. And you are going to be a quiet good girl until your mother comes back.” Chev glared down at the little bundle of joy fiercely.
“Ama-amamama ah?”
Chev paused mid-breath. “Did you . . . say mama?”
“Ama-ahamama-aaahhhh!” She squealed at him and stuck her fist into her mouth to bite at it.
The king felt his face stretch into a wide smile. He,and he alone, heard the princess’ first words. Of course. It was a very common word. Mama. But he felt pride swell his chest. He couldn’t wait to see Emma’s face when she heard.
“Now for your second word,” he told the little princess. “Paaa-paaa . . . paaa - say it.” His eyes gleamed with the ferocious inner light of a tiger teaching its young.
“Ahhh? Bluhbluh . . .” The baby squealed and then went back to sucking on its fist.
“Paaa. P.” Chev formed the first letter slowly and repeated it several times. “If you can say mama, I know you can say papa. Stubbornness is not a becoming trait. Paaa-paaa.”
His daughter reached up and tried to grab at his chin, giggling and he could not help but laugh too.
Unnoticed in the doorway, Sariel stood with an armload of papers. He watched the king and princess with a gentle smile. Ater a moment, he turned and left as silently as he’d come.
Clavis
The princes of Rhodolite assembled in the garden, their expressions ranging from mild concern to hostile boredom. There were tables set out with an array of bizarre foods. Tarts in an unnatural shade of purple, vegetables with some kind of dangerous looking red glaze, a drink that might have been tea if it wasn’t blue.
Yves and Licht sat at one table, looking nervous. Luke sprawled disinterestedly on a bench. Jin leaned against a rose-covered arch with his flask in hand - probably the only safe drink at this gathering.
Rio stood to one side with a tray in hand. It held little cups of what looked like pudding, but it was matte green and had chunks of something yellow jutting out of it. He wasn’t allowing anyone to take one off the tray - not that anyone was asking.
Leon was gamely chewing one of the violently purple treats, much to Sariel’s obvious horror. Nokto watched from a shaded bench in the corner, clearly hoping for a reaction from the 4th prince.
“This had better not be a waste of my time.” Chev was the last to arrive, he stepped into the garden and gave the gathering a frosty look.
Clavis had called them here upon his return from Jade, and no one was quite sure if that meant he was about to prank them or actually had important information to share. With the 3rd born prince, it could go either way or even be both. He was unpredictable, dangerously so. Even marriage and fatherhood had done little to tame him.
Cyran, soldier and confidante to Clavis, appeared at the entrance to the garden right behind Chevalier. “Oh, I promise you this will be worth your time, King Highness.”
Chev’s lip curled, but he sat down and crossed his arms.
A moment later, Clavis arrived. He was beaming, his smile wider than usual. “Thank you so much for attending my little garden party. I really appreciate it!”
No one replied, though Jin crossed his arms, almost a mirror of Chevalier's posture.
“I hope you’re enjoying all my homemade goodies. All from things I bought while in Jade.”
“That’s not the only reason you asked us here, is it?” Sariel’s dry, business-like voice did not sound amused or even faintly interested in ‘goodies’.
Clavis laughed. “Of course not!” He swanned around the gathering, his smile wide and unchanging. “I asked you to come because I made the most fantastic discovery in the Jadean markets.”
“A new medicine,” Leon said hopefully.
“New weapons?” Chev asked with his usual icy disdain.
“Better.”
Nokto smirked. “I hope you aren’t about to show us another nude folio. King Highness did not appreciate that last time, and Yves is still too young for that kind of filth.”
“I might not mind,” Jin hummed.
“No! I’m a married man now,” Clavis put a hand to his chest. “I can’t imagine wanting to look at anyone but my dear Emma.”
“So . . . what is it then?” Licht frowned.
“Cyran.” Clavis gestured imperiously. The soldier gave a little bow and hurried off, returning a moment later with something in his arms. Someone, in fact.
“Well, there it is. The prince has finally lost what mind he had left,” Sariel sighed. “You didn’t find your daughter in the Jadean markets, Clavis.”
The baby in Cyran’s arms wriggled, trying to get loose. She was just old enough that she’d started to walk, holding onto things and as wobbly as a new-born deer.
Clavis laughed. “Of course not! But look at her shoes!” The baby wore a pair of odd looking little shoes over her chubby feet. They were white and pink, with a cute bunny face topped by loppy little ears and a puffy cotton tail above the heel.
“Baby shoes.” Chevalier said flatly. “You brought us here . . . for baby shoes.”
“Yes! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find cute little shoes that fit those chubby little feet? But in Jade they’ve made these shoes with stretchy tops, see?” He pointed out the way the top stretched over the little baby foot. “And it has a matching headband!” Clavis took it out of his pocket and put it on the baby’s head.
His daughter giggled and grabbed at the ears that now hung down on each side of her adorable face. Her lavender hair stuck up at odd angles where the band had bunched it, but she didn’t seem to mind.
“She does look pretty cute,” Yves said into the awkward silence.
Licht had a gentle expression on his face, almost tender, as he nodded in agreement.
The baby wriggled until Cyran had to set her down, holding her two little hands in his big calloused ones. She took a few wobbling steps toward Chevalier, and gave him a big smile. “Uhhnn!”
Chev regarded her with an arctic glare. “Uncle. Chevalier. It’s not difficult to say.”
“Uhhhn! ‘Val . . . ear!” The tiny princess pulled a hand loose from Cyran and waved it toward Chev.
“Aww that’s so cute! But your name is too long. I bet she can say mine.” Jin crouched down to put himself at baby level. “Come on little bun-bun. Come to uncle Jin.”
Nokto chuckled. “Not even a year old and she’s bringing royalty to their knees.”
Chevalier stood. “I do not have time for this.” He stepped carefully around the baby and then walked briskly back toward the palace. It might have been easy to miss the gentle look he gave the child over his shoulder. Certainly, the gathered princes were too occupied to note it.
Clavis looked entirely pleased with himself as the rest of his brothers tried for the baby’s attention. She loved being the center of things, and for once, he did not mind yielding the spotlight.

Theoretically, what clans do you think the other bg3 companions would be?
I have definitely Thought About This! The setting I had in mind was during the Anarch Revolt, with the main squad being a new pack.
Thoughts behind Lasombra Astarion - still keeps his self-image issues regarding reflections, which sets him aside from his companions. That implication that Cazador set the Gur on him is pretty similar to the Lasombra tradition of deliberately grooming your future childe for the Embrace, and honestly, a combination of blood bonds and heavy use of Dominate fits Cazador's modus operandi as well. The ritual is either Abyss mysticism or, yeah, straight-out infernalism, like the whole Azaneali/Angellis Ater stuff. In this, it's not a tadpole that frees Astarion from his control, it's the Vaulderie.
For his fate afterwards, I'm not sure. I feel Ascending would parallel him diablerising Cazador and maybe his siblings, as in it may be a step too far. An Ascended/diablerist Astarion would probably stay with the Revolt as it became the Sabbat, one who doesn't might go Autarkis.
For the others, I'm not 100% locked in on these, but I'm thinking:
Shadowheart: Lasombra as well, focusing much more on Abyss Mysticism (whereas Cazador dabbled but largely stuck to the Lasombra social structure stuff). Keen user of Obtenebration. Has had a lot of her memories erased or altered via Dominate. Kinfolk. At first is extremely vehemently against joining the Camarilla and supports the nascent Sabbat, but leaving the Sharrans may work as her going Autarkis, working out her own route?
Lae'zel: I'm actually thinking Ventrue? Very strict social structure, all these complexes about power and weakness. If she ends up staying with the Revolt and joining the Sabbat, the whole Dark Knight thing the Ventrue antitribu have fits pretty well! OTOH, Orpheus kind of fits as a stand-in for a methuselah, so that would cause... issues. She might be Ventrue antitribu only in the sense that she's not Camarilla, and still has her personal loyalty to Orpheus.
Gale: Tragically, I think he's Tremere, and probably quite a low generation (maybe instead of Mystra, he's bound to his sire, Meerlinda?). Born Mage who was identified and groomed by the Tremere specifically for the Embrace. Leaving Mystra = defecting from the Pyramid and joining the Revolt, although he still feels deeply conflicted about it. He may end up joining the Camarilla but could be swayed otherwise, which I suspect he might do based on love of his friends and being convinced he doesn't need the power the Camarilla could offer him.
Wyll and Karlach: Brujah, but more specifically, Brujah from the same 'family', with Zariel being Mizora's and Karlach's sire, and Mizora being Wyll's sire. Wyll fits the idealistic Wanting To Fix Things Brujah mindset, and Karlach… enjoys punching things. I don't see either fitting with the Sabbat. Zariel and Mizora are both into infernalism and got their childer into it as well, although Karlach resents it and Wyll feels deeply conflicted. Another option is that they just have regular-ass sires, but Mizora and Zariel are Baali who convince them to go apostate - Karlach under a lot of duress, Wyll with good intentions (power to help people!) but recognising later that, oops, that may have caused issues.
Halsin: Two fun options! One, he's a Gangrel (who follows the Path of the Eightfold Wheel, natch). Also Autarkis, although I feel he'd want to keep having a Purpose and would probably end up with a group of other Autarkis and try to… keep an eye on them. Another interesting option, though, is that as well as Garou, there are also bear Fera! Will elaborate below.
Jaheira: Gangrel, straight-out. Would go Autarkis after the Revolt.
Minsc: Having met him yet, but I get a Brujah-with-out-of-clan-Animalism vibe. Maybe learned from Jaheira? Autarkis as well.
So for Halsin, there are werebears! They're called Gurahl.
"The werebears are Gaia's healers, tied to the Earth with a stronger bond than any other Fera. Many Garou believe the Gurahl are extinct, killed during the War of Rage when they would not give up the secret of restoring life to the dead. In truth, they entered a long sleep using a trick taught to them by the Mokolé, and have awoken in the modern world.
Slow to anger, Gurahl tend to be healers and protectors rather than warriors. Rare since the War of Rage, they were targeted for refusing to teach the Garou the secret of resurrecting the dead."
So, either Halsin is a Gurahl who ends up accidentally adopting a pack of Cainites, or he's a Gurahl kinfolk who's Embraced as a Gangrel. When he returns home, he's a bit, "Sooooo… hi. Vampire now," and they don't end up killing him because, what the hell, he's family and also still Halsin. "Yes, this is my son. Yes, he's a vampire. It's complicated."
Slight alternative - Halsin, Jaheira, and Minsc are all much older (older ancilla/ancilla with a werebear pal), with Jaheira and Minsc already being close, and maybe Halsin and Jaheira knowing each other beforehand. When they meet this newer, younger pack (the Origin characters), they go, "Okay, these kids are going to need guidance" and jump in to babysit mentor them. In that case, they may not consider themselves truly part of the Anarch Revolt, but be avowed Autarkis. Age-wise for the Origin characters, Astarion is ancilla but the whole two hundred years of slavery means he's still pretty inexperienced in the world, and the others are all neonates. Hell, Lae'zel, Wyll, and Karlach may even still be considered fledglings, or like, just released.
So tl;dr, Anarch pack who largely go Autarkis after the Revolt, with Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae'zel torn between Autarkis and the Sabbat, and Gale being torn between Autarkis and the Camarilla. I want to say they all stay Autarkis, with the bonds they've developed? Still have some Anarch traits like a vinculum, but otherwise are avoiding both the violence of the Sabbat and the hierarchy of the Camarilla, a lot of which is why they joined the Revolt in the first place.
Thanks for the ask, this was so fun :D

16) How's their relationship with their parents? Are they alive?
17) If your OC has kids, are they a good parent? Do they ever feel guilty if they have to leave them?
Hi Ube! I finally can answer these! \ o w o / I've been bouncing in my seat, wanting to answer all the asks I got. :'D So thank you for being the first person to send something in! :D
OC Secret Ask List
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Primam and Tandem's relationship with their parents is...strained for sure. It's not positive, and Primam tries her very best not to make it negative, but that's a lot harder than she and her brother seem to be able to manage. The thing about Primam and Tandem's parents is that they weren't born to parents who wanted children to love and nurture, they were born out of duty to the Crown and to keep House Chorus in service to it. When one of them gets in trouble, both of them get punished. After all, they are two halves of a whole. They are a rare instance of twins being born in service to the Crown, and so they both bear the mantle 'Arm of the King'.
I don't want to give too much away, though! There are a lot of details that I'm really excited to put into my XV: Reimagined, and how some things end up shaking out! :D
Between the two of them, Primam is the only one I've ever actually made children for. This goes for about all of the nobles that I've made save for Aestus. He's the only one other than Primam who is expecting a child, and far, far sooner than her.
That said, Primam was...very nervous about being a mother. Part of her wondered if she were no different from her own parents, bringing in the next generation in duty to Noctis and his next of kin. But she and Prompto are actually very loving parents, and their home is filled with happiness, laughter, and warmth. And that...is far more validating and reassuring to Primam than anything that proves she is not like her parents.
Primam definitely feels guilty if she has to leave her children, but she is confident that Prompto is a good papa. :> So she is comforted by the fact that he is, and trusts him completely with their girls.
Tumblr media
Mollis probably has the most positive relationship with her parents from any of the nobles that I've written that aren't canon characters. Her father, Ater, was very keen on her having a positive experience growing up because he does genuinely care for her and love her. He is probably the best father out of the noble parents I've written.
Definitely the father who held her in his arms when she was born and saw that he was holding pure sunlight in his arms.
Again, though, there are details I don't want to get too much into, because I'm so fucking giddy about details in my writing that do touch upon the relationship that Mollis has with her father that I would love for people to discover that won't be answered here.
Tumblr media
Ros' relationship with his parents is...a little heartbreaking. Since I have released his introduction, I do feel more comfortable getting into it here. His mother passed away, and she was really the only one that could have taught him about House Viridis and how to use his magic. He has his uncle, Arbor, but it's pretty clear that there seems to be obstacles there that don't allow Ros to allow himself to learn completely from him.
As for Ros' father, their relationship is a bit distant since Aurae's passing. Neither of them really know how to talk to each other to unpack that trauma and grief.
Tumblr media
Aestus' relationship with his parents is more like colleagues than actual child and parents. With his parents being busy a lot of the time, and...with three younger siblings, Aestus essentially became 'parent number three'. So Aestus tends to treat his parents more like peers rather than parents at times, feeling like he had to grow up a bit too quickly, especially once his eldest sister, Vera, entered the picture when he was six. From there, it was learning to take care of her and look after her himself, and then Lyra...and then Nebula. This also extends toward a big brother kind of tendency toward the other noble kids of the era.
So...Aestus doesn't have the most familial view on his parents, but this is something that he doesn't particularly seem to mind that much. He cares a lot about his sisters. More than what his relationship is like with his parents, especially as someone also being conditioned to become Ears of the King himself.
Thankfully, all of this does culminate into some pretty powerful fatherly instincts over his actual sired children, and Aestus loves his kids. Though...he does kind of make his sisters watch over them when he can get away with it. Payback, in a way.
Tumblr media
Vera has an okay enough relationship with her parents. Similarly to Aestus, she tends to keep her interactions with her parents more formal and business-like rather than casual. Though there are times where she can rest her shoulders and feel like there is some sense normalcy between her family as a whole, those instances are far and few between. She, personally, wouldn't say that she had a bad relationship with her parents. More... "We're okay. I don't know what else to say about it."
Tumblr media
Man...Lyra has some issues for sure with her parents. Namely her father. But...Lyra has some pretty severe RSD, not to mention the perception that she doesn't believe she's worth anyone's time. After all, despite her being born the same year as Prince Noctis, it's her older sister who is trained and prepared into being Noctis' Ears of the King. So Lyra tends to think that her parents don't think highly of her, and thus kind of views them in a negative light.

The youngest of the Vox siblings, Nebula actually gets more attention from her parents than her other siblings. Whether this is to make up for lost time or something along those lines, it's clear that Nebula has the most positive relationship with her parents than her siblings. Nebula will actually go out of her way to seek her father or mother in order to ask questions, or ask permission for things instead of Aestus or even Vera. Though Nebula still loves them both, she has no anxiety, nor trepidation about approaching their parental units.

Common sense has chased Eclipse his whole life but he's always been faster

I LOVE THAT
~~~~~
Callie stood out in front of her house, the snow melting on her shoes. She rubbed her forehead, eyes closed, and let out a long sigh.
"Okay," she said, and she sounded so, so very tired. "Tell me again how this happened."
Silver looked up at her, then over to his brother. Eclipse stood in the snow, brow furrowed, and tongue stuck to the frozen metal post of her mailbox.
"Eclipse got his tongue stuck," the hedgehog said with a shrug. Callie flicked her eyes down to him, one brow raised.
"I can see that. What I want to know is how. Why. Because my brain is having a very hard time picturing any scenario in which even you, my darling darkling child, would think this is a good idea."
Eclipse uttered a grunt, annoyed at being questioned.
"Ah anted oo no ith ih as poo."
Callie dropped her hand to look at her youngest. "What?"
"He said he wanted to know if it was true," Silver said, tucking his hands into his hoodie pocket.
"If what was true?"
"Ith ur dung thtuck to a poh ehn ith's told."
"If your tongue stuck to a pole when it's cold." At Callie's ongoing confusion, Silver continued. "Like the movie we saw the other night. With the kid and the bb gun? How that one kid was dared to stick his tongue to the pole at school?"
Callie nodded. Ah. Now it made sense.
Well, now she knew the catalyst, anyway.
"And you couldn't just ask me if it was true? You had to come out and try it yourself?"
The darkling uttered another annoyed grunt, and spit out a string of unintelligible words that even Silver shrugged at. Callie held up her hand to try and silence the boy.
"Okay, okay, calm down," she soothed. "I'm going to go get some warm water and we'll get you off there. Don't pull. I'll be back in a minute."
She uttered another long sigh as she climbed the steps back into the house.
Life with alien children was certainly never boring.
One alien child in particular.
~X~X~X~
Eclipse watched his mom head back into the house with a grunt.
Why did she always seem so frustrated with him? He had a question, he sought out the answer. She was always glad to indulge their curiosity normally, but whenever he gets his tail caught in a soda bottle, or his head stuck in between the banister spindles, or his tongue stuck to the mailbox post, all of a sudden it's bad.
He didn't want to wait until she got back with water. What did he need water for anyway? He wasn't thirsty. Besides, water freezes in cold weather and he didn't want to be more stuck to this thing. So he pulled back, trying to yank his tongue free.
Beside him, Silver gave a loud gasp.
"Don't! Mom said not to pull!"
"Ah on't are! Ah ant oth!"
"She said she'd get some water to get you off!"
"Ah on't yeed ater!"
Eclipse tried pulling, but his tongue was stuck fast. And it started to hurt when he pulled too hard, so he quit with a frustrated growl.
Okay, so he couldn't pull himself free. And it was getting really cold out here, he wanted to go in.
Sooooo . . .
Silver's eyes went wide. "What are you doing?? Don't! You're gonna get in so much trouble--"
Eclipse saw a problem. And he solved it.
~X~X~X~
Callie stood at the sink, waiting for the water to warm up. She'd have to ask Maddie if her boys ever did something like this. Unlikely, but it wasn't entirely outside the realm of possibility. Maybe.
A loud crash made her jump, and she rushed to the front door in time to see Eclipse dragging the mailbox post, still stuck to his tongue, across the porch. He'd snapped it off at the base, the sharp ragged metal end gouging a groove into the wooden floor. He awkwardly held the mailbox in his hands, making it ever so slightly easier for him to move.
"I told him not to Mom!" Silver was saying from behind the darkling. "I said he would get into trouble!"
Eclipse seemed to take offense at that little tattle, and turned to begin arguing with his brother. The post swung with him, and smashed into the front door, leaving a dent and deep scratches in the paint.
Callie stood and watched the scene with wide eyes. Then she turned to head back into the kitchen.
It's gonna be one of those days.
Fnaf death timeline because we need one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
obviously the Bitevictim Crying Child dies 1983. probally on Halloween thanks to the cake the two halloween dlc's that followed and , the its me easter egg and everything we see in the dreadbear dlc.
Tumblr media
Charlie dies the same year on the same day.
----------------
“My mother,” Charlie said. “She was dressed up as a princess. It was a Halloween party. John, go to November first.”
John struggled briefly with the controls, and then it was there. The headline was small, but it was on the front page of the paper on Monday, November 1: TODDLER SNATCHED. Charlie turned away. John began to read aloud, and Charlie cut in, stopping him.-
---------------
they die very close together if not on the same date. Charlie outside the dinner is most likely during CC's birthday.
But considering that CC was terrified days before his party he couldn't have seen Charlie's death so what did he see?
it can't be Elizabeth's death either because
Tumblr media
lets assume this is Elizabeth in Fnaf 4 even if it isn't we know that Elizabeth was alive because her death happens after Charlie's
Tumblr media
mostly because in the novel's Circus Baby is made to be a Charlie bot so Elizabeth has to die after Charlotte. of course we can say but the games are diffrent well.
Tumblr media
the ball needle things are there like the novel and theres also the whole the 'baby is not mine' thing that could refer to Circus Baby not being William's creation. even if it follows all of William's way of designing animatronics. Even if the game timeline has it be William's creation I think its more of the hint that the timeline would still place Elizabeth's death after Charlottes. theres also the thing that William and Henry can be very alike like almost interchangable sometimes. not just them looking similar in the novel but just in general their strangly alike .
Tumblr media
when we have the whole thing of dreadbear while people say William doesn't care for his kids as often seen in the novel and movie i think its not fully true. “Welcome back to Research and Development. Today, we are using science to pervert the mysteries of life and reanimate the inanimate.”
Tumblr media
if dreadbear symbolises the crying child and the whole putting him back together was indeed that. William is doing what novel Henry is doing but alot more twisted.
while people hate the robot gregory theory maybe it has more merit than we thought...
what if this is gonna sound crazy William and Henry are the same person and so Charlie is basically both Elizabeth and Crying child.
this kinda works for every single ateration of the story suprisingly if you consider not everthing you see being true. Like Mike, Garrett and Abby being probally Henry's kids in the movie but being clearly Williams in the games..... or how Charlie from the novels is alot like Micheal in both the game and the movie.....
if Charlie never existed.... Susie would indeed be the first child William killed. we know the missing children happend 1985.
Into the Pit suggests the incident took place in 1985, as this would fit into the timeline placement before the events of FNaF 2 in 1987 and after the events of FNaF 4 in 1983.
This is further supported by the original novels which have many parallels to the games; in the books the incident also took place in 1985.
okay this kinda developed to something else... i dunno how i got there and maybe i will theorize about it later on.... I think i might be on to something if the fnaf vr thing about the games being fiction is true it might be worth to look into tho.
things to note;
they both have wifes that are missing
the bunker under Henry's house in the novel being the circus babies and rental
sun and moon could literally symbolize them being one and the same
theres a theme of dad's being replaced or stepdads being in the novel's what if that just suggests a character shift?
Vanessa might be like a charlie bot? she doesn't bleed in the movie and game vanessa had the whole mystery of two vanessa's
_ someone please disprove me i prefer if their not the same but I noticed so many parallels maybe its just to show that it could have been either that would have become that instead of Henry and William being the same but just diffrent personalities
Two Jewish schools in north London are closing their doors "in the interests of the safety of our precious children".
Torah Vodaas Primary School in Edgware and Ateres Beis Yaakov Primary School in Colindale both informed parents on Thursday evening they would not reopen until Monday.
In a letter to parents, Rabbi Feldman, of Torah Vodaas, said while there was "no specific threat to our school" it was "not a decision that has been taken lightly".
It comes as Jewish students were being warned by schools to disguise their uniform because of a fear of retaliatory attacks caused by the ongoing war in Israel.
Thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed in a war ignited by a bloody and wide-ranging Hamas attack on Israel at the weekend.
One Jewish charity said it had seen a 324% increase in reports of antisemitism as a result over the last four days. This included six assaults, 14 direct threats, three instances of vandalism, and 66 cases of abusive behaviour, according to CST.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced £3m to protect schools, synagogues, and other Jewish community buildings on Thursday.
The money will enable the CST to place additional guards in schools it supports throughout each school's operating hours. They will also be able to place additional security staff at outside synagogues on Friday nights and Saturday mornings.
Israel-Gaza latest: 447 children among dead
Children told to 'change their uniform'
One father told Sky News he had been advised by his children's school to alter their uniform "so they are not signaling in any way they are Jewish".
He said: "And in 2023 for my kids to go to school and it not be okay for them to wear uniform, a kippah, star of David on their blazers, to have to hide their identity in 2023, it's very scary.
"I am scared for myself and my family. It's a scary situation."
Their mother said there have been at least three policemen waiting outside her children's school every day.
Students no longer taking public transport
Rabbi Chaim Pinter, the principal of a Yesodey Hatorah, said they had put "certain measures" in place, including "extra patrols" as well as providing therapists and counsellors to the students.
"There is worry, people are concerned. People don't want this to spill over," he said.
The majority of students live locally, but "the students who live out of the local area, they are coming in via taxis rather than public transport".
"Our priority is the children," he added. "And the best place, the safest place for a child, is in school."
Meanwhile, one security company told Sky News it had seen a rise in requests from Jewish sites.
SQR is not a specifically Jewish company but does security at a number of sites within the community.
Yael Cole-Slagter said: "We've had calls from schools, but we've also had calls from schools that for instance they've had security officers on site that have been called back to Israel so they've asked us to replace them on site for now.
"And for additional security around schools.
'Parents are concerned'
Rabbi David Meyer, chief executive of the Partnership for Jewish Schools told Sky News parents are concerned, "and I think they have reason to be so".
"There have been unfortunately in the past significant rippled effects when things have happened in the Middle East," he continued.
"They seem to have impacted and caused a significant increase in incidents in the UK."
Plotted starter for @fulgur-ater
What a noisy evening.
Anika had been one of the first few to arrive at the tavern in Santa Antonia that day, coming in for a quick drink after her shop was closed and her regular spot in the square of the neighborhood had been freed. Some complained about her activity being irregular, but she didn't need many clients; she needed the right ones, and a bit of luck to have them find her on the right day, and they did today. A tragic story, really; a poor child gone before their time and an even poorer mother who sought for a last reunion. It was officially over at that moment; she had no reason to keep thinking about it, she had left many stories behind her back in around ten years of activity already, but some... eh, some still needed a drink to let go. She wasn't as heartless as she wanted others to believe after all. Very few knew that side of her, and she'd rather keep it that way for as long as she could.
And a drink she got, but for some reason, the place had gotten pretty busy more quickly than anticipated. Two larger groups seemed to dominate the scene while the rest of the tables hosted up to four customers each. The bar was also busy, and so was the staff. She rolled her eyes at the last loud laugh imposing over the chaos, and she lowered her glass and brought two fingers to her temple.
"You think?" she asked in a low voice, apparently to nothing. She gave a glance to her side, then she leaned fully back against her chair with an exhasperated sigh. If he was right, a brawl would have started soon... After all, she already recognized one of the big tables to be occupied by Seraphims, which were, weirdly enough, going around freely outside of their territory without worrying of not being recognized...
Sakhi bring me a spare parchment,
I need to write to my daughter.
"Which daughter? You sent your children far away."
My eyes shine once again,
As they once did years back when I was nothing but a young girl
Who frolicked in the courtyard of the temple.
"Not them, sakhi. A daughter shall live
Who shall dance like me,
But she shall be free.
Free like how art should have been.
I see her in my dreams as she sweetly calls me 'amma'
And her feet? They always look red.
I hear her jingling ankle bells!
She sings, dances and dreams,
But fulfills her dreams unlike her mother.
I am tied. I was tied. I am going to be free soon.
My daughter is free."
And my dearest friend hands me a worn down parchment.
There is not much strength left in my hands, my pen is trembling.
However, I must write today
And let the ink dance on the parchment
For this is a dancer's story.
Which shall soon be forgotten by the world.
The world which once adored her,
Considered her auspicious, made her a goddess,
The same world made her a prostitute.
My art, my dance is now impure.
They made me dance for Shiva, and
I revered Nataraja
And now his dance is impure. Is the said God too?
Who is impure truthfully?
Dearest daughter,
I have seen you in my dreams, seen you dance.
Your two lovely agile feet capture movements so fast,
Your enchanting eyes look around everywhere, examining each thing in detail.
Observation, a skill essential for dance,
For we are storytellers and actors
And stories are found everywhere.
Look around and learn.
The world dances, you must too.
You have grown up into such a lovely woman, dearest one.
I am your mother, the mother with a tainted history
Who has nothing to bless you with
But dance, my story and wishes for
A life where you are free.
I can feel my breath turning heavy,
My vision is slowly blurring out.
Don't worry, your mother has spun
A hundred times in this glorious temple
For Him, for them, and seldomly for herself.
I can focus on the parchment for a little while longer perhaps?
Child, learn to dance for yourself too.
My beauty once praised is long lost. The jewels underneath my bed
Cannot cure me of this disease.
I have to die. I am going to my husband
As the people tell -- Shiva is my final destination.
The dance in this mortal plain has bound me,
With Shiva, I am to dance in gay abandon.
I have worshipped the gods through dance.
Shuddha Nrityam they call it,
I wish people looked at me with shuddha drishti.
I am mere seconds away now
Before the noose of Yama lands on me.
My lovely daughter, I hope your time shall be different.
I was doomed to live in the darkest chapter of nritya,
But joy shall adorn my heart when you find me.
People shall label me tainted, a very sensual woman, woman of lust,
But who taints me? What taints me?
This body which shall now perish
Holds no longer the burning lecherous gaze of lustful men.
My eyes do not see the people trying to purify me.
My ears no longer hear degraded hushed whispers of how this flesh has been touched my many.
My lips only speak your name.
I wish you were here, my child.
Let me see you once again before I depart for Shiva's abode.
Ah! Right there you are!
You were hiding from me for so long.
Don't you cry once my pen stops for,
Amma is always with you, silently watching you, silently protecting you,
Silently teaching you dance.
Find me soon, child... I hope you find me in my true form.
Be blessed! May you dance always!
Om Shanti....
********
I will post the daughter's reply to this piece ater. Now just for some context, I had written this piece I think in 2021 when I had stumbled on this topic while watching some dance documentaries. I looked through every video, read books about these hereditary dances, and did some research about the injustice meted out to them in the name of reforms and purity which ultimately had almost led the glorious dance forms of india to extinction and I had various questions, I still think I do. These women who were once rich, had their own lands and money, they were independent and well versed in various subjects apart from music and dance were now reduced to prostitution and called names.
Somewhere as I read more about them I wondered what connected us apart from the dance form. I think freedom? Maybe knowledge? The knowledge that we need to undertake as we learn dance because we don't only just copy off the movements that we learn in class.
And one night it struck me somehow. I still remember that night. I was studying for my 12th boards term 1 exam that was 2 months away I guess and it was very late at night and I kinda dozed off where I almost an epiphany like thing over this. I couldn't stop myself from writing this down. For me every artistic work, be it writing or dancing, no matter how large or small the job is, I always meditate for a while and then begin. For me whatever little experience I have had with art, it is an expression of the divine, it feels magical and is like a thread that connects me to the past and the present.
This topic is controversial. There can be countless debates over this and I am really not good with the political side of things. This piece is something from my heart as a small tribute to the endless amount of women who served dance and sustained it for as long as they could to be passed on to us even today.
