Tina's younger cousin was a sweet and talented Dominican girl who, at her teens, having a solid background career as a child star, went to Spain to study Dramatic Art.

As I've been posting several things of her here and it seems all of you enjoy of her photos, I've done a little page here in this tumblr to have together all the information we can get of her, and also I'm planning to buy the scans published in Spanish magazines to post here the photos in high quality and also with the information given at the press.

a small child came into the café today and asked to buy a chocolate truffle. he tapped a credit card on the reader and it did not go through, mainly because it was not a credit card but in fact a junior cinema pass. i gently explained he couldn't use that to buy things in shops and he looked so gutted that i was like "...but just this once you can have it for free, don't tell my boss though" he said thank you and walked out with his truffle and as he went i heard him chuckling to himself and saying "yes..... yes!!!!!" like the sickos comic

I think Tina was more beautiful than her cousin Maria II, but at the same time, she had the pressure of being Maria Montez' daughter. Maria II didn't have this, so she could act, sing, dance... perform. On TV and stage, while Tina did "only" some modelling and screen acting. I think if Tina hadn't had the pressure of fame, would have been more happy, as her cousin Maria II... Great blog BTW!

I personnally think both are pretty, maybe Tina is more beautiful and María is cuter, but I absolutely agree with you in the fact that María was much happier than Tina and had less pressure, Tina had the weight of her mum's name on her shoulders, Tina came from a broken family were she felt rejected from her step-mum and she married just to get away from that house; María had lovely parents who helped her with her carrer, she had a scholarship and was able to travel to Spain to improve her acting, so yes, María had all the skills to sing, act, perform on TV and on stage, even on cinema and she did little modelling too cause she was really good looking and had talent.

Tina also, had bad luck because I guess, of all the pressure she had, she took hard drugs and she got caught so in her darker days she couldn't act because nobody wanted her, she felt really lonely whereas María had a husband and two beloved children. Tina wanted to become mother but sadly she couldn't.

I always think Tina deserved much better in life, she took some really bad choices that cost her personal health, relationships and her carrer. She paid a really high prize for her mistakes...
