Canon and history says Souji died from tuberculosis. However THIS SOUJI IS NOT DEAD NOOOOOPE. HE’S ALIVE AND BY DEFAULT HE HAS RECOVERED FROM TUBERCULOSIS (and is now married to Chizuru even though canon says no), though I’m not against writing him still struggling from his illness either

Mun has only played through Souji’s, and Chikage’s routes in Kyoto Winds and Edo Blossoms. IDC about spoilers about the other routes so please feel free to spoil away.

Mun has only seen the Reimeiroku anime, the 2022 liveaction drama, the SSL liveaction drama, and the 2021 OVA/Demon Fleeting Blossom OVA. Mun is kind of afraid to watch the following animes that isn’t Reimeiroku (or the Demon Fleeting Blossom OVA) cuz of how dirty they did to my boy Souji, and also not being much of a fan of the canon route. Don’t let this stop you from writing with me though. I respect everyone’s thoughts and opinions.

My rules apply for all of my blogs. Shipping stuff may vary though, but for romantic shipping, Souji will only be romantically shipped with any Chizurus out there cuz it is who I can only see him getting romantically involved with. This does not mean I will only ship with one Chizuru, so any Chizurus out there have my permission to come at my Souji as long as we are mutuals.

You do have an excellent point but I think it’s more that he respects Lupin because his father loves Lupin and Phantom Thieves in general so much.(I mean he fell head over heels for Chikage inno small part because she was a phantom thief.) Definitely doesn’t love Lupin to the extent Shinichi/Conan love Holmes. Maybe since Lupin goes far darker than Holmes ever did he’s a bit too apprehensive to throw himself as completely into the role of Heisei Lupin as Shinichi/Conan does with being Heisei Holmes. Also his iconic thieves are artists detectives are art critics isn’t taken from a Phantom Thief it’s taken from a Catholic Priest that moonlights as a detective. Who calls the work of a Gentleman Thief art but an infernal one.

Oh most certainly. His connection with Lupin is definitely influenced by his his father’s admiration, but he’s certainly nowhere near the nerd levels of Shinichi. 

Also that’s a neat tidbit about the quote! I didn’t know that.

Also, it’s your choice if you want to put the Act 8 reference where Itaru mentioned Chikage beating up those Zafra soldiers. Unrelated, the BLACKSTAR chara that Chikage’s VA plays is named Nekome(ネコメ/from 猫目石/cat’s eye stone) & the BLACKSTAR chara that Masumi’s VA plays is Zakuro(柘榴/not sure if his name is based on the pomegranate or 柘榴石/red garnet).

And omg. The sleeping at last pinned was about all the members of the company actually, but yeah i had a Hiso icon for the longest time (and ngl I've been itching to switch back to him but i really like the vibe this icon gives me so mhmmmm) and i had him and chikage as header for the longest time.
