27. things i hate i hate a lot of things tbh. the general state of the world. being sweaty. not being able to sleep. the economy.

36. 3 dreams you want to fulfill? i want to move out of my mom's house. i want to fall in love. and... idk. i just want to be happy and fulfilled

40. favourite memory i don't have one favorite memory. i don't think i've reached the high point of my life yet (at least i hope i haven't). but some highlights include every time i've gotten to hang out and play games with you and the gang, and also september 13 2022 when i got to see my chemical romance live.

The sense of expanse and peace and quiet. The way the reflections of clouds can shift and change over a short period of time. Waves.

3. What ideas come from when you were little

The main goal comic I'm working on (Dear Fears, I'm working on smaller stuff first while I learn to make comics) is actually based off of kid me being afraid of so many random things. Like the main inspiration is this fear I had that if I turned my back to the faucet while washing my hair something was gonna Get Me.

I love drawing eyes. Eyes and mushrooms.

Stephen Gammell, the Triplets of Belleville, and 80s Garfield comics were my biggest inspirations to become an artist, I love the styles so much.

4. mythical creature you think/believe is real?

With how prevalent they are in like every culture. I gotta believe at some point dragons existed. (Even if it was a false assumption from people finding random dino bones, I'm so enticed by the idea of dragons existing I WANT it to be real)

19. the veggie you dislike the most?

ALSO Cauliflower, I cannot stand the taste or smell of it! (there's a funny story my family likes to tell of them taking me to a buffet, MAKING me try cauliflower and when I quite literally almost threw up, declared "That stuff'll KILL you!!!!")

28. last meal on earth?

This one is SO hard. But I'm going to go with my veggie minestrone, some spicy, peri-peri seasoned chicken, a salad with a raspberry vinaigrette, and a white russian.

Currently reading: the word for world is forest by le guin and meridian by alice walker. not really in a reading mood atm honestly because it's been too rainy... I can pretty much only read outside for some reason

Currently watching: I still have a single episode of the monkees to watch, which I am now saving for a rainy day. not much else honestly. I gave up watching iwtv because I didn't like it. also been watching/rewatching some old starkid musicals. other youtubers I watch a lot are sketching scottie, srp asmr, tony bomboni asmr, simon roper, and chroma moma

Current obsession: still pretty far up david 8's non-existent orifices. still besotted with the monkees too. both of these things are entertaining me plenty. making art, bird-watching, walking, and replaying tlou 2 are happily taking up space in my brain and time in my day. very into paleontology and paleo art rn also... there needs to be more paleontologist reacts videos I live for them

Haaaaa I kind of miss these from LiveJournal. I was tagged by @syntaria and I honestly love learning about everyone. I’ve followed some of you for years and I still don’t know I lot about you (respect tbh). I’m tagging for fun, but you don’t gotta do it if you aren’t feeling it.

Are you named after anyone? No! I have a really generic late 80′s/early 90′s Prairie NDN name haha. Soooo many millennials on my rez have the same name.

When was the last time you cried? Two weeks ago.

Do you have kids? Nope, but I have many bbs I love in my family.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Sort of - I can be straight up bratty and I need to work on it (I am). Old habits die hard.

What's the first thing you notice about people? People’s voices.

What's your eye color?  Brown.

Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies, but scary movies with happy endings are the best.

Any special talents? I am amazing at finding treasures at thrift stores. And I’m -really- good at changing out the price tags at Value Village and stealing from them hahahahaha

Where were you born? Regina, Saskatchewan BABEY. Almost in a mall.

What are your hobbies? Reading, thrifting, sewing, swimming (when I can), cooking

Do you have any pets? A black cat named Tomas and I love him very much

What sports do you play/have you played? I sadly have never sported other than ripping around the neighborhood on a bike. Was/am a sedentary nerd, and even if I wanted to when I was kid we were too poor. But I love swimming now!

How tall are you? 5′4. I’m a shorty.

Favorite subject in school? K-12? English. Uni: Gender studies.

Dream job? I sort of have it now, knock on wood. I care about it, I work with a lot of really rad harm reduction folks and it’s not too demanding of me (of course there are sad days) and it pays a living wage and is unionized.

1: im out of things to infodump about so here's some childhood memories. gym class was The Worst. the teacher was a very mean older woman. one time when i was like 8 or so and i still didn't know how to tie my shoes, i asked her for help. in my memory she yelled at me and/or called me stupid. it probably wasn't like that but i felt bad.

2: i have good memories from elementary school too. uhhhhhhh. i liked computer class. do kids these days have computer class? like just typing and stuff? it was fun. there was fun games we would play. also when we did good at typing they would give us candy sometimes

this is piper! you've seen her but not everyone has. she's my perfect baby girl who loves scratching and biting and playing with cords

4: when i was 11 or 12 i made a deviantart account. a few weeks before my 13th birthday, my mom found out that i had lied about my age online. she made me delete my account. i cried. i remade the account as soon as i could

5: speaking of remaking, this is my second tumblr account. the first one only lasted a year or two. for my own mental health, i decided to take a break and deleted. i think i only stayed away for a couple hours before remaking. i regret deleting but oh well

6: going back to elementary school memories. there was a sort of running gag about how my class was cursed bc basically every year, our teacher would leave. we were the last class for like 6 different teachers. then, when we were in sixth grade and would be going to middle school the next year, the whole school closed. they couldn't afford to keep it open. that shit hurt
