The fankids for the ships I like

affectionately dubbed "Hell's Greatest Kids Gang"

Venera (variation of Venus, goddess of love, beauty and war; venus flytrap), daughter of Alastor and Valentino:

deer ears, neck fluff, Val's skin color, four arms, wavy dark red hair

acidic saliva that dissolves anything organic after long exposure, has Alastor's magic

wears lots of dresses with huge skirts and a ton of colorful hairpins, some made by Viola

besties with Velvette, aunt-niece relationship, Velvette does her hair and teaches her fashion design

biggest attitude an 8 years old can have, will bite and kick with little provocation, doesn't take anyone's opinion or advice, her dads are very proud she's building character from early on

on the introverted side, if she decides she doesn't like someone that's final

Valentino spoils her rotten, Alastor is the only one able to tell her no

his dads keep him away from their work, but he's still interested in movie production and editing, Vox and Val make mock raw footage appropriate for his age so he can edit it, is VERY good at it

if a mischief plan is complex enough, he'll hack into the camera and audio feat to hide the evidence

pesters Matteo a lot because he listens to his endless ramblings

besties with Oberon because they're both always up for chaos

Bella (Latin origin, beautiful), daughter of Angel and Valentino:

moth wings, spider eyes, antennas, 6 arms, light pink skin, white hair

really flexible, joints practically can do 360

always happy, always smiling, basically a younger version of Charlie, very polite, a bit introverted, doesn't cause trouble, gives hugs likes there's no tomorrow

mismatching style, anything from flowy skirts to tshirts and jeans, usually pink or any pastel colors

loves to make mud pies and potions, steals Angel's makeup and is good at doing it for her age

Husk treats her as his own child

Angel teaches her to dance, they choreograph whole shows for Husk and Charlie, sometimes Niffty watches the shows too

Charlie ADORES her, styles her hair every chance she gets

Angel tries to hide her existence from Valentino, Val 'kidnaps' her when she is 3 (as soon as he finds out about her), Angel and the Hotel crew (Alastor included) barge into V-Tower, only to find Val, Velvette, Bella, Viola and Venera having a tea party (Alastor obviously knew lol, didn't say shit), Bella is attached at this point, regular visits are negotiated, Valentino is flabbergasted they would think he would harm a child and ends up toning down his act a bit from then on (cue to Alastor vouching for Val and the shock that follows)

has a lot of conflicting feelings about Valentino since Angel hates him so much, which leads to a lot of daddy issues

hangs out a lot with Venera, they put on fashion shows for the other kids and their parents (Velvette hates kids but would adopt them both)

Matteo (Italian, gift of god) son of Husk and Angel

carbon copy of Husk but with 6 arms and Angel's eyes

always bored, constantly pesters KeyKey and Fat Nuggets, will adopt any street animal in a 5 mile radius

is forbidden from going anywhere near the hotel bar simply because he'll break everything, loves shiny things

likes leather jackets since he could pick his own clothes

Angel teaches him to shoot guns, Husk teaches him how to fight

has an immaculate poker face and learns card games and tricks fast, Husk is very very proud

very extroverted when he likes the person, quick learner, natural leader, will probably grow up to be an Overlord, him and Kai are the voice of reason for the other kids

steals knickknacks for the sake of it, has a whole collection (unrelated, Viola is always confused where her creations go)

been warned about Alastor a million times, but Alastor likes him quite a lot, Matteo doesn't understand why Husk wants him to stay away

very good listener, always up to hear what Vortex is up to

Kai (protector), son of Vaggie and Charlie:

glowing feathery wings that aren't retractable, blond hair, purplish light gray skin, Vaggie's eyes

can sing like an angel (literally) and can hypnotize people with it

wears simple and muted colored clothes, lots of sweaters and loose pants

always grumpy, always annoyed, hates the world, holds grudges for life

Charlie babies him a lot and he despises it, Vaggie tries to play the middleman between them

Lucifer adores him, can't put him down because what do you mean he's a grandpa now?!?!?

prefers to read and draw, rarely left in peace to do so

refuses to sing for any reason, hates sticking out so much since he's basically 3/4 angel and 1/4 human and sticks out in Hell, very introverted

doesn't like hanging out with the other kids, but always does to make sure they're okay

Charlie is constantly worried for him

can fight, Vaggie made sure of it

whenever he hangs out with the kids in the V-Tower (those 7 are basically the only kids in Pride and are around the same age, there aren't many options), Valentino gives him art lessons, Kai has asked many times jokingly for Val to adopt him, Val is basically his designated cool uncle

Oberon (from the ballet The Dream), son of Carmilla and Zestial:

dark skin, looks like a scarecrow, VERY tall

loves attention but doesn't get it from his parents, a never ending "it's not a phase" phase

insanely quick reflexes

sees his father once in a blue moon, has a ton of daddy issues, hates how Carmilla, Odette and Clara treat him like a child (he IS a child)

very sheltered (it backfired badly), sneaks out a lot, instigator for bad ideas, practically lives in the V-Tower

started pestering Velvette out of spite because his mother hates her, Velvette makes him clothes out of spite because she hates his mother, they get along nicely

him and Vortex are attached at the hip

master of all weaponry, designs guns that he and Viola end up assembling and give to Matteo to distribute (Carmilla has no idea who the fuck else is making and selling angelic weapons because those are NOT hers)

With just over a week list we've put together a quick list of every game where the DLC is still up to buy in the UK store. They may be delisted in your region however. This list was made using the all search list, which is still up at present expect it to disappear on the 29th of July.

Change the letters GB to the letters used for your region of the website North America is US for example.

All the games listed have at least one of their DLCs still up in the store, some DLC content may be delisted already and a few still show in the store and can't be purchased as we found out with the Map Pack for Ninety-Nine Nights II yesterday when we tried to buy it.

This is a full list and includes all games, some have the DLC on Xbox One / Series others do not. Some games like N+ and Lost Planet 2 have DLC on Xbox 360, but not in the Xbox One Store.

Some games like Fallout 2 and Star Wars The Force Unleashed have complete version. Others like Mass Effect, Borderlands 2 and Two Worlds have version with some of the DLC on disc, but not all.

I've tried to list free DLC and Compatibility Pack for games, but as I've done this in a hurry I haven't labeled them all. Hopefully I didn't miss any from the official marketplace webaite, but let me know if I did.

I've tried to list all games with their full name, but the shop's A-Z has some odd listings, something they list them by the word "the" but not others. Some games are just initials, some use the full name like Tony Clancy's etc.. others skip the author name and just use Splinter Cell.

Example Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes turns up in the C listing.

I've included a very rough list of delisted or unobtainable DLC at the bottom which is a work in progress. At some point in the future, I might try and turn this into a full list of games with DLCs.

2 Nostalgia Items

I chose these two images because when I was a kid I my first game console was an Xbox 360 and I would play it every chance I get. I would aleast come home from school and did first thing I would do is turn on my Xbox and play for hours. I also chose an image of chess pieces because when in addition to loving to play games, I would also love to play chess. My school had a chess club and that would be my favorite club to go too after school. I would also participate in every chess tournament I could, and sometimes I would even place top 3 in rankings.

Hi! ♥ I hope you're having a wonderful time wherever you are!! I am here to sing your praises and ask some questions about your writing process! First of all, Witch Ways is such a great piece of writing. Every 5 minutes I'm like [origin character name here] would totally do this! or that's so [origin character], and twirling my hair, giggling like a 13yo with a crush. I can't help but be endlessly amazed at how well you write each character: the way you depict actions, feelings, analogies, etc., like you're aware of what's going on all the time and direct our attention toward the important stuff. It's all very cinematographic and painterly. And that awareness guiding our attention feels like you're shaping scenes with just enough detail, or broad enough strokes, that reading becomes really pleasurable, and not dense at all or like everything is up in the air. It's a perfect balance. Gale, as written by you, is *chef's kiss*. Also, an honorable mention goes to Astarion; your portrayal of him is so on point I'd jump at the opportunity to read anything you write with him in it. Chapter 11 has Astarion pull some emotional 3D chess stuff on Gale to make him open up about his relationship with Echo, and I think that is so ingenious! Another thing I've noticed is that you're really good at knowing when a relationship/character has had enough time in the spotlight and it's time to let other relationships/characters into the picture - all in a very natural and reader-friendly manner. And I'm a baby writer, but I know our characters/plotlines can only be as developed as we are experienced/well-read, in a way. Naturally, I've got some questions and they are as follows: 1) What are some of the things/techniques/approaches that help you with characterization/keeping characters effectively in character? I just feel like, you're so good at reading characters and knowing what they'd do next. Developing that skill probably took you time and effort!!! So, any words of wisdom, book, webpage, or anything to help guide me a bit through the process of acquiring the skill? 2) is there anything that's helped you become a better writer? Especially in terms of developing and maintaining this 360° awareness when you write (they should be doing that with their hands, they should be feeling this but also a bit of that, this is the right amount of [character/relationship], this explanation/description is ok and if I add more to it I risk being insecure/overly preachy, etc.) Thank you so much for sharing your writing!!! ♥

Thank you so much for your kind words! I really am having a great time writing this story and I'm very happy that people are enjoying it. The best general writing advice I can give is simply to stick to it. Don't get hung up on comparing yourself to other people. It can take a long time to find your own voice and it took me personally a long time to realize there isn't one "right" way to write. Writing is hard and you have to try and be kind to yourself. Don't be afraid to make mistakes or to get crit. I cannot tell you how much time I wasted being terrified of showing anyone my writing, when I could have been using that time to grow as a writer.

Specific answers under a cut bc I babbled on for awhile!

1) So for characterization, just play through every possible conversation you can have with a companion/npc. I look up videos for choices that I can't make (like late game evil playthroughs) and I have like a million saves before conversations, events, and areas that I might need to revisit. When I'm looking for a certain reaction (like how does Wyll talk to you if you're mean to him? If you're nice to him?) This is probably why I'm so comfortable writing Astarion, since I romanced him on my first playthrough and I got to see a lot of content for him.

So I load up a conversation with the emotion I'm looking for, and really pay attention to their speech patterns. Then, during writing, I do two passes: the first time I write out what I need from the conversation, then the second time (during editing) I read the conversations out loud and try to see if I can hear it in the character's voice. During this second pass, I change a lot of wording and inflection to better fit how a certain character speaks. Reading dialogue out loud in general is a great idea bc it helps you make sure you're writing in a way that people actually talk.

2) Workshopping helps so much. I majored in English so I had to take a lot of writing classes and just getting another set of eyes on your writing who can tell you "hey this doesn't make sense" or "hey I had to read this twice so it's probably not flowing how you want it to" can really, really help. Since having a ready workshop isn't always possible, writing fanfiction can help in the same way! Really anything that keeps you writing and practicing will keep you developing.

More specifically for picturing scenes, a lot of times I will have to physically do the things I'm writing so I can better see how to describe it. For emotions, I listen to music that evokes the same feeling I'm trying to write out. It sounds weird to say it, but study fiction and the stories you like. Think about why story beats landed how they did or what you'd do differently to flesh something out that you liked, but could have hit better if some things had changed. (I feel like we have all been watching a movie and gone "Why didn't they say/do [this] instead!") Editing is so important, so hard, and so (imo) boring but it is integral to getting the feeling in a scene right. You really can't tell if something is coming off right until you've gone back over it and cut down/filled out the parts you need.

Doing a warm up can help too, especially when the words aren't coming to you right away. Pick a prompt or think of a scene that you're really excited to write and give yourself fifteen minutes to just hammer away at that. In my writing classes, we always did a warm up for the first fifteen minutes of class and it can really help put your brain in the right condition for creating. Another exercise we did in writing class (which might help with the scene awareness) was taking a scene from a movie and writing it out in prose. It can help you pay attention to what movements need to be narrated and how to describe expressions/inflection.

I hope some of this helps! Unsurprisingly, it also helps to write stuff you have fun writing. Even if you think it's a trope or cliche or whatever, who cares! Write what you like. I started both of my big fanfics simply because I couldn't find the ship dynamic I was looking for in the pairings they feature. So if you write what you want to read, chances are there are people in the world also looking for it <3

Azure Dreams (PS1) - pokemon dungeon crawler with dating and town building side quests. collect monsters, climb to the top of the tower to find out what happened to your father.

Alundra (PS1) - adventure fantasy rpg puzzle game. you Will need the guide book. beautiful art. interesting story. you enter people's dreams to save them from certain death while also trying to fight evil in the real world.

Brave Fencer Musashi (PS1) - silly action adventure fantasy, save the world from evil with two swords as legendary hero Musashi

SaGa Frontier (PS1) - Turn based JRPG, a bit clunky but fun. You choose one of 7 origin heroes, play their personal stories, and meet many other companions to defeat evil together. Only SaGa series game I've played.

Secrets of Evermore (SNES) - your dog runs into a laboratory, now you have to travel across time to get home and face monsters. The dog changes breeds and has special powers each level.

Heroes Chronicles series (PC) - fantasy strategy game series. Chess with monsters? Interesting but super simple story. One of my favorite games to zone out with.

Syberia I & II (PC) - A good puzzle narrative game, well acclaimed.

Darkfall: The Journal (PC) - scared me as a kid. First person puzzle game with ghosts. Think of a gentler Myst or Riven.

(From Thursday's trip to the Mountain Park.) Is it wicked hard for you to sleep when its hot in your room? Omg, yes. Summer is a miserable time for me. I'm an (extremely) "early to bed/early to rise" type of person, so the heat and the light really fvck with my sleep schedule. I sleep the best during the depths of winter when it's dark and freezing cold.

What is your favorite thing to do with your best friend? My best friend lives in California, so we don't interact in person. We mostly exchange memes and videos, and have random chats about whatever.

Are you easily offended? I can be easily hurt when it comes to personal matters and social interactions (although I've become much better at hiding/dealing with it), but when it comes to politics and things of that nature, I really could not give a hoot.

Have you ever acted as tour guide for friends/relatives from out of town? I haven't. I'm not even sure what I would show people.

Do you feel bored with your life? Not at the moment. If anything, it feels like it's become a bit too busy now that I'm at the animal shelter 40-ish hours a week. I'm realizing I need to restructure my home routines in order to get everything accomplished.

What's the most weight you've ever gained from a medication? I've never gained a significant amount of weight from any medication.

How old were you the first time you encountered God? Like, the concept of God? I was so young that I don't even recall it. But if we're talking about a profound spiritual experience, then...I'm also not sure. I do believe in God now, but I can't pinpoint a singular moment that did it for me.

I'm pathetically lost without technology (especially my phone for YT videos), but full days at the shelter consume basically all of my time from waking until sleeping. I just get up, shower, eat breakfast, chat with my dad for a bit, then head out. And when I come home, I shower, eat, chat with my dad again, and go to bed.

I am on a voucher waiting list to get my own apartment, but I have no idea when that will come through. I'm actually pretty excited about it. It's fun to daydream about creating my own little life.

"The Fib." From the Book of Ruth 1: 11-18.

A dead husband, #360, "dead calm" in Judaism is verily, a thing of the past. All one has to do is pack up and move home to momma and things will be all right soon enough. The characters in our story, Ruth and Naomi disagree. Naomi "delightfulness" says she is too old and bitter for a new man, but Ruth "friendliness" says God's helping hand will provide her with a new life if she has faith.

Parsha Tazria "the bitter whores" is dedicated to this very topic. Recall bitterness which refers to the scent of myrrh is not a bad thing. It is a sign experience has made one more masculine, scented not with body odor or nasty smell, but the ardor of achievement. Age is also not discouraged in the Torah. Every last one of the sages and prophets aged out around one hundred, meaning they achieved Shabbat at the proper age.

Observe: Shmot says Moses stood before Pharaoh at the age of 80 and died at the age of 120:

Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh, Exodus 7:7.

The Value in Gematria is 5418, הדאח‎, the dah, "the age of reason" which scholars say can begin as early as age 7.

and

Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone, Deut 34:7.

The Value in Gematria is 8843, חחדג, "he was picky, he used a spade."

= He was capable of discernment, managing complex thoughts and their interactions.

Everything in Tazria takes place as a consequence of inexperience between age 80 and 120. They are essentially the opposite reactions to life as in the Sefirot.

A brash young man or woman emotes in response to life with bitterness of the wrong kind, causes by defiling diseases, but a confident one that is silent until his Jewish background is thoroughly researched and sanctioned by his master is bittersweet in ways that are positive:

The names of the ten Sefirot are:

Chochmah - wisdom,

Binah - understanding,

Daat - knowledge,

Chessed - kindness,

Gevurah - strength,

Tiferet - beauty,

Netzach - victory,

Hod - splendor,

Yesod - foundation,

and Malchut - kingship.

The next few passages in Ruth deal with the transition between the two kinds of bitternesses. The structure consists of eight stanzas, considered by the Gematria "an Endearment":

11 But Naomi said, “Return home, my daughters. Why would you come with me? Am I going to have any more sons, who could become your husbands? 

12 Return home, my daughters; I am too old to have another husband. Even if I thought there was still hope for me—even if I had a husband tonight and then gave birth to sons—

 13 would you wait until they grew up? Would you remain unmarried for them? No, my daughters. It is more bitter for me than for you, because the Lord’s hand has turned against me!”

14 At this they wept aloud again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her.

15 “Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.”

16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 

17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” 

18 When Naomi realized that Ruth was determined to go with her, she stopped urging her.

The Values in Gematria are:

v. 11: Return home. The Number is 10719, יזא‎‎ט‎, yazat, "do this now."

v. 12: I am too old. The Number is 9276, טב‎ז‎ו‎‎, "tableau" = figures in history. We grow old but not irrelevant. The opposite is true especially if we always follow the Torah which explains aging to us.

v. 13: Even still, why wait till you grow up? The Number is 12002, יפפספסב, ipfsfb, "equate a fib to zero."

"The famous tale of Archimedes in the tub commemorates how difficult it is to discern between true gold and false gold, which in turn discusses how difficult it is to discern between true knowledge and a slick fib. A gold crown may conveniently be submerged in water, but a substance to test a "crown of knowledge" is hard to come by.

The rightful veneration of knowledge necessitated tools to mine it, to purify it, to store it and to retrieve it. It was the birth of information technology. The invention of script allowed the perpetual storage of knowledge in a medium other than a perishable human brain, which made David triumphantly cry out that the "Holy One" [i.e. the Word] would not "see decay" (Psalm 16:10, ACTS 2:7).

But even prior to this amazing invention of data retention, a convention had to be wrought that governed the way observations were harvested for data, and data was transformed into knowledge."

v. 14: At this they wept aloud. This is because Orpah "the hinterland, submission due to fear or stubborness" and Ruth "the vision" are at odds with each other:

"The verb ערף ('arap) means to drip or drop. Noun עריף ('arip) means cloud and ערפל ('arapel) describes a heavy cloud mass.

The noun ערף ('orep) means neck. It possibly derives from a whole other, unrelated verb of unknown meaning, but it may also be that underneath all these words hides a core meaning of to droop. This latter noun is used nearly solely in expressions that are based on the hanging of one's head (in submission, fear or stubbornness). The denominative verb ערף ('arap) literally means to neck but in practice it describes the breaking of one's neck."

vs.

"Most broadly, the root רעע (ra'a') describes compartmentalization: to break some continuum apart into separated elements. Human minds are designed to be nodes of a much greater network of exchange, and must continuously interact to maintain a liquidity of wisdom — hence the noun רע (rea'), meaning friend or companion (and hence too the story of the Tower of Babel).

All wealth requires liquidity and that requires units of economy to go around. This explains why "evil" — רע, ra', evil — is not the opposite of "good" but instrumental to it: hence the perfect Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil in the heart of perfect Paradise. Despite popular misconceptions, in the Bible, all רע (rea') comes from God (Isaiah 45:7) and has a specific and wonderful function in any naturally evolving system.

Verb רעה (ra'a I) means to pasture or feed and the participle רעה (ra'a) means shepherd. Nouns רעי (re'i) and מרעה (mir'eh) mean pasture. Noun מרעית (mar'it) means pasturage.'

A dead husband while "hinterland" is as we said a moment when life, while appearing to strand us has actually liberated us.

The Number is 5836, ה‎חגו‎‎‎, "cry, then celebrate."

To cry, according to the Rab is to know all of life. Once one knows all of life, one knows how to do it right, which is why being separated or single again can be part of God's plan and should be viewed with optimism.

"From earliest infancy, we cry and smile as a form of communication. But with whom are we communicating when we weep solitary tears? With whom are we sharing our joy when we smile to ourselves, alone and unseen? The Arizal writes that the numerical value of 'Dimah–Tears' is 120, which in Torah signifies full life."

v. 15: Look! Go back to your gods!

The Number is 4581, דהחא‎, doha, "repulsive, repellant, objectionable, unsavoury". Deities and demigods are boys with penises. Not to be confused with the gods of Israel who are angels who have been charged with Sumer, "guarding Israel."

While the Torah is obnoxious about the worship of gods, it does allow a men and women, boys and girls to idolize each other and to become infatuated. If he's not a god why would you want to be with him? God wants us to fall in love with gods provided the admiration is justified. They key is to know the difference between gods that are protective, called a Sumerian, and which are destructive. The type of god depends on the level of reality, either the sacred or the profane with which one is contending.

Asher is not Ashur, for instance.

vs.

= The Torah states unless the "object" is consecrated, it is off limits. No good will come of it. Consecration is defined in Naso, which explains all the ways a boy god called a Nazir by the Torah becomes a man. It is not that complicated:

"...they must not make themselves ceremonially unclean... because the symbol of their dedication to God is on their head. 8 Throughout the period of their dedication, they are consecrated to the Lord."

v. 16: Where you go, I will go. One must not try to relate to God on one's own. Without a shared romantic reality, one lives within an isolated delusion. So as the Torah and Ruth both state, the God one finds through compatible companionship with one's honey squeeze is the right one:

Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 

The Number is 14853, ידחג‎ ‎ "will postpone." We know we are with the right person when we want to postpone the rest of life to spend time in their presence. To find and abide in life with such a person is the goal of all Jewish lifetimes. It is essential not to misunderstand this. To live otherwise is heresy and evil in the eye of the Lord.

v. 17: Where you die, I will die. The Number is 10326, יג‎‎בו‎, "will collect all the backup."

When Jewish people die and undergo salvation, they undergo a process called Emulation, "to surpass by following the rest."

The process involves fading, also called manasseh, the evaporation of all that does not resonate with the Shoftim, the Jewish Self. Ruth is a bridge bewteen understanding this process and actual activation of it. This does not mean we "give it all to God" that makes no sense. The Torah says God will take it all away from us once we reach a level of the fullest involvement with the Torah and Tanakh.

As stated above this cannot be done outside of happy matrimony.

v. 18: Ruth stopped urging. Urges are latent self-expressions. Some society will agree with, some it will punish. Those which are good but possibly punishable are the ones we want to show on the surface of the Self. A good friend with benefits 😒 will seem determined to contribute to their success.

The Number is 5802, החאֶפֶסב, "the prisoner hafesb." "Keep this person prisoner in your house, in your life."

The friendly entity known as Ruth called the "assistant vision" is not God or the Torah or the religion, he or she must be a real person and not too much of a god. Religion can be confusing in this regard, but thankfully that is now cleared up.
