Gyuutaro x reader, modern au, wc 1k
He knows he should be wearing riding gear, that it was something essential and he knows his sister will ask about the first time he comes to pick her up. He wanted some as well, helmet at the very least so he could really enjoy riding the bike but it was insanely expensive and he spent a good chunk of his savings getting the bike in general.
And pretty much only the bike.
No insurance, no proper license, no tags, no helmet, he wasn’t even wearing sleeves nevermind a riding jacket. Gyuutaro shouldn’t have this 1000cc death machine in the first place.
But it offered a decent amount of freedom that he could taste on his tongue immediately. Feel it whipping against his skin in a way that didn’t feel like torment for once in his life while he weaved between the painted lines on smooth asphalt.
His speedometer ticking upwards steadily, downshifting as broad palms grip tight to the cushioned handlebars. Shifting his weight to lift the bike from two wheels to one, balancing himself carefully as Gyuutaro howls with laughter.
Grin splitting his face wide and flashing jagged teeth, baggy shirt pushed back with the roaring winds from the high speeds outlining his thin frame.
And his mood doesn’t falter even when he wobbles slightly, tensing his forearms as he straightens and falls back onto both wheels. Bouncing slightly as he opens the throttle and rockets down the near empty highway. Reaching new speeds the shitbox he’d owned up to this point could only ever dream of achieving.
Yes, there are ninety nine reasons for Gyuutaro to treat the road like it was his and his alone. Could count and reclaim each and every one of them while his music blasts like his own personal OST.
Laughing maniacally despite how the rev of his engine through a short tunnel drowns out the sound with its reverberations. Adrenaline surging as the numbers climb higher.
120.. 140.. 180..
One arm cutting through the torrential breeze he causes with his speed as it relinquishes its hold on one of the handles. Angled to make waves before it opens his palm flat to let the force throw it back like he’s riding a bucking bronco.
His exit is soon, but Gyuutaro already feels at home right now before his song stops abruptly. Snarl marring his lips almost as quickly as he splits the lane between a few cars before the automated voice reads out the text you’d sent him.
Dinner will be ready soon, get home quickly but drive safe okay?
‘Would you like to reply?’ The AI preprogrammed into his phone asks and he does, he always fucking does but he doesn’t have a helmet to muffle the loud howling of the wind. He’s lucky enough that the headphones you’d gotten him for his birthday hadn’t fallen out yet, it’d be nothing short of a miracle if the tech could decipher a word he says.
So he slows, decelerates quickly yet safely just like you’d asked of him.
Yes, Gyuutaro has ninety nine reasons to drive like a bat outta hell. But the one that matters most is you.
The image of you waiting in the doorway when you hear the purr of his engine down the street. A scene of him backing his bike into your little carport before long legs cut the distance between you in a hurry before your arms wrap around one another as he kicks the door closed behind him plays in his mind.
And just as the numbers tick down on the speedometer, so do the reasons for him to drive as recklessly as he pleases.
His sister, the smell of dinner in the home he’s steadily moved into with you, the feel of your skin against his beneath your weighted comforter. Knobby and calloused digits intertwining with yours as he pins the back of your hand to the mattress in moments of intimacy. The way he fills you, the way you preen so prettily for him and the pleasure he provides.
The intent to watch the swell of your stomach that only grows the more he comes home to you, and sure it would continue if he didn’t. Time would tick on if Gyuutaro’s was cut short but the thought makes his chest ache.
Finding the actual speed limit as he veers off the on-ramp to take the exit home. Wavy locks styled chaotically from his trek back to you but you love it either way. Choosing not to question it but you do mention going shopping for a helmet when you receive him with open arms.
Giggling between smattered affections to your forehead, the apples of your cheeks, the corner of your jaw and finally to plush lips because he wasn’t one to interrupt you when you talk. Your fingers carding through his soft curls with care, working out any tangles he’d caused just like you had many times before. Threading delicate digits together on the nape of his neck as you drape against him, telling Gyuutaro you’d already looked online for a few.
“Pretty affordably priced with practical reviews,” because you always do your research especially when it came to him and his sister that you’d accepted into your life with ease. With a quiet compassion that spoke volumes of your character that he was more than aware he didn’t deserve but you fill his head with cooed confessions and his chest with their sentiment.
And each kiss, meal, outing, lost restful night of sleep he’s ever gotten as well as each domestic and carnal moment alike replaces all of the desire for destruction. Be it internal or external, Gyuutaro was born to be a man that wrought and collected as he pleased.
Yes, there are ninety nine reasons for Gyuutaro to speed on his bike, but they’ve morphed. Shifted and molded into something lovely instead of ghastly like he’s always known.
An effect you’ve had on him from the moment he’d met you purely by coincidence. A stroke of luck in his underrated little life.
Now, all of them revolve around you and the way you’ve integrated so effortlessly into a world that never belonged to him.
He knows maybe you won’t like it, that you’ll worry and chastise him every single time but what reason could he give to not? Not one he thinks is worth it.

Some future blog updates:
Activity may be v cut down to the weekends so I can focus on work during the week. i'll be available for RPs or plots on Discord however
Not completely overhauling Ivy's character, but she's the least developed so there may be some ongoing changes with her and her concept.
Adding two more muses to make a solid eight buckos here. Adding Avian's Uncle, Che Ferraro, officially to the roster as like a revival of my old Benny Gecko muse & old OC, Shara. And then adding a new semi-supernatural muse named Aya Gadhavi: an insurance collector.
#▶⌜dead air :: ooc⌟#Che is gonna be an easy conversion since his profile is already written out but Aya is taking a minute#But i am currently reupping Ivy because her story about identity and legacy seeking is so interesting for me#thanks y'all

to attracts/retain students, it seems like smaller colleges (2 year and 4 year alike) are trying to go all-in on like... job training and certification. and while that’s noble and practical and all i also think it misses out on opportunities to do more interesting things. it doesn’t need to be like, Degree to Get You A Job With Health Insurance on the one hand and From Chaucer to Che: The Poetics of Revolution. i think there are other options!
taking a place like erie, PA for example, it’s the sort of place where people born there aren’t necessarily loo king to stick around so you get a bit of regional brain drain. but i wonder whether you could make use of the place and create opportunities for people to learn about the places where they’ve grown up. it would take some logistical/curricular changes, but i imagine there would be some interest--if only because people might like the opportunity to understand how the Good Jobs were created and why they no longer exist. but the only way to find out is if you create that opportunity

How the Heart Learns to Beat Again
Chapter 2 Preview:
Emilie flung open the wardrobe doors. There was the loud sound of someone opening a suitcase and ploughing through it. She shut the door, a hairbrush in hand, and pulled up a chair at the table. Seated beside Nathalie, she began brushing out her wet hair. The movement of her arm was mesmeric. Gabriel poured her a glass of wine, then sat with them.
‘I don’t suppose you’ve told her why we’re here,’ Emilie said.
Gabriel shook his head and handed her the glass. ‘I thought you’d want to do it together.’
‘I do.’ She took a long sip of the wine, then leaned back in the chair, closing her eyes a moment before opening them and pinning that green stare on their guest. ‘I suppose you’re wondering why a pair like us travelled all the way from Paris just to hunt you down.’
‘It…had crossed my mind,’ Nathalie said. ‘I assume this is some sort of fetish job. A wealthy couple who can get anything they want – sights set on some rare artefact to keep in your personal collection and insure for more than most people would spend in an entire lifetime.’
Another look was exchanged, telling her she was wrong. Whatever they wanted, it wasn’t about the money. She thought back to what Emilie had said about a phone call. In this weather, there was no mobile reception. The only phone in the hotel was an old-fashioned payphone downstairs, outside the entrance. You had to be desperate to use it at a time like this.
Who is Adrien?
Emilie’s gaze was lazy and…seductive? Was that the right word for it? It wasn’t that Nathalie wanted to sleep with her, but there was something persuasive about that look. Something that made her want to give into whatever Emilie suggested.
She glanced back at the girdle, still on the table.
‘We don’t seek more riches,’ Emilie said. ‘We’re not interested in fame or notoriety, either. And this isn’t thrill-seeking. We also don’t wish to become gods, so please, I beg of you: put all such preconceptions out of your mind when I explain what we’re looking for.’
She caressed the rim of her wine glass, eyeing Nathalie under her long, thick eyelashes. As dominating as Gabriel was, Emilie seemed to hold the power here.
‘…okay,’ said Nathalie, hypnotised by the motion of the woman’s finger. ‘What do you seek?’
‘Initially? Immortality – but not for us.’
Nathalie stifled back a laugh. ‘That’s it? Immortality?’
‘But not for us,’ Emilie repeated. ‘Failing that…the power to overcome death. And failing that…the power to undo death.’
‘Oh, of course. Because no human has ever tried for any of that and failed in the most morbid way imaginable.’
‘But we won’t fail,’ Emilie said. There was not the slightest trace of doubt in her voice, not a tremor or pause. She held herself with such poise, as well, her chin up high. Her confidence was a magnetic field reaching out and grabbing Nathalie until she believed they would succeed. If anyone could, it would be them and only them.
‘Who’s dying? Is it Adrien?’ she asked, satisfied when she heard Gabriel’s sharp intake of breath.
But Emilie never wavered. ‘I knew we couldn’t pull one over on you.’ She rewarded Nathalie with a smile, and hell, if that didn’t make something in Nathalie’s chest open, as though she had never known how to breathe until now. ‘You are correct. Adrien – our son – has been diagnosed with a rare blood disease. The doctors say we only have a handful of months left with him.’
‘And you’re spending them here with me, instead of savouring every precious moment you have left with your child?’
It was Gabriel who replied – snapped, more like, his blue eyes suddenly like ice, freezing her on the spot. ‘We are not abandoning our child, if that’s what you mean. Until you have sat at your child’s bedside, watching him waste away a little more each day, powerless in the face of biology, you know nothing of what we have gone through. We are not wasting time. We were wasting time by remaining with him and doing nothing.’
He was breathing hard, his chest heaving and hands trembling around his glass, which he now set down, perhaps worried he might throw it across the room and smash it against a wall – or maybe throw it at her. His stare remained on her, locking her in her chair and sealing her throat from bringing up any words of reply.
And yet, he was beautiful in his rage. Somewhere in the world, her father may still be out there, feeling nothing of what Gabriel felt for his child. Once, she’d had a mother who felt none of this, either.
Keep reading at Ao3
After years of adventuring, recovering lost mythical treasures from every ancient culture ever known, Nathalie meets the man and woman who will change her life forever. Molluck 'n' Slig Finnish Dub
It's been like two years since I did these dubs... I haven't still forgotten my project about dubbing all the Molluck having cutscenes in Finnish but this is only the second one so far... Well, gotta keep dubbing!
But yeah, this is a non-serious dub but I also altered some sentences to fit better into Finnish. So, here's the translation for the stuff I said:
Molluck:
ENG: 'How can this weak, pathetic, uneducated, schmuck of a slave still manage to be alive?'
'Schmuck of a slave' isn't easy to translate but I could figure out a good non-literal one.
Slig:
ENG: 'I don't know boss, but that creepy dude is some kind of supernatural, I know it! I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it by my own eyes when my best friends went somehow insane and started to blow each other away. Pew pe-pe-PEW! It was disturbing. I don't know boss, but maybe that one doesn't get drunk on the beer.'
There ain't a good translation for 'brew' in Finnish, so the best one is 'beer'. Well, it also makes this less serious but there ain't literally any better translation... Another one is 'uutos' but it sounds somehow too sophisticated here since the style of Oddworld language is slang and rough ect. But if these were meant to official, that would probably be still used. Oh, and yeah, I was having fun with that translation here.
Molluck:
ENG: 'The beer was our insurance, our guarantee that would prevent anything like this from ever happening!'
Slig:
ENG: 'But it did happen. The beer should have done its work already, unless they have it with them. How you explain it?'
I had to alter that one sentence since it does explain better the thing here but it also sounds better.
Molluck:
FIN: "Ehkä kaljamestarin suunnitelma olikin täyttä paskaa!" ENG: 'Maybe the Brewmaster's plans was bullshit!'
Frankly, this is my favourite line. (Y) But yes, this did sound better but I also think that it does suit Molluck, I can see him saying a thing like this. Also yes, I did translate the Brewmaster's name or 'the title'. I'm not sure if it should be seen more like as a title or his name but here, it's more like a title or a 'nickname', being a 'beermaster'.
I feel like I do need more practice with this stuff but I accept this dub I did last night. My throat didn't enjoy this... The Slig was the worst one... Doing Molluck voice doesn't hurt so much anymore but maybe it's so because I have started to get more used to it...
I could do some other languages too, though they do require a bit more work. It's been told me that I pronounce various languages well, so it wouldn't be a problem. I have studied five other (natural) languages than my mother tongue, more or less. (I mean, I'm also studying programming languages; I'm a computer scientist.) One language I have wondered to try out one day is Italian since it's kinda my fourth language and the game does offer the translations, so I don't need to translate anything by myself! Che sollievo! (= What a relief!)
I can understand why OWI didn't do more languages than English for the audio (referring to those old games that had those 'basic' languages dubbed too). But I can kinda 'fix' that thing! I'm not saying that what I do is good enough to be official, though I have heard bad dubs in video games, but yeah, I'm just doing these for fun!

Rail traffic came to a complete halt in Finland on Monday, following the failure of last-minute negotiations to settle the labour dispute between the railway workers' union RAU and the state railway operator VR.
As Helsingin Sanomat reports (siirryt toiseen palveluun), the strike completely stopped local train traffic as well.
The strike does not however affect metro drivers, so Helsinki's metro is running as normally. The same goes for buses, trams and the Suomenlinna ferry.
Tuija Ruoho of the Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) told the paper that the HSL website provides tips on how to find a replacement connection, including a list of buses that run from train stations to the centre of the city.
The director of passenger and operator services for the nationwide Matkahuolto bus transport company, Anu Pekurinen, said on Friday that the operator had not as yet decided whether additional buses would be provided during the rail strike.
Petteri Rantala, commercial director of Onnibus, one of Finland's largest long-distance transport operators, told HS that the company does not have the human resources to organize extra shifts for drivers.
Late Sunday, authorities reminded commuters that not all traffic on the rail network has stopped due to the strike. Maintenance and track work is continuing on the rail network as normal, so drivers should still take care and watch out for trains at level crossings.
Three families and a cat
Late last year, Finland offered to take in 100 Ukrainian refugees from Estonia per week.
Iltalehti tells readers (siirryt toiseen palveluun) that moving from Estonia to Finland has however not interested Ukrainian refugees at all. IL writes that over the last two months, only three Ukrainian families and one cat have resettled to Finland from Estonia.
Liis Paloots, head of the Estonian Social Insurance Board's immigration service, says that the reason for Ukrainian refugees' reluctance to move to Finland may be that refugees are placed in reception centres in Finland.
"These people would be bound to the reception centre for 12 months. Estonia, on the other hand, has prioritized the fact that people become independent as soon as possible. This includes the right to various benefits to facilitate the search for a permanent place of residence when a person has received a residence permit, instead of living in reception centres or other places provided by the state," Paloots told the Estonian public broadcaster ERR.
Refugees who have arrived in Estonia and have not yet applied for international protection are offered the opportunity to move to Finland, but there has been almost no interest in making the move.
"People rather say that they came to Estonia because they have relatives, friends or acquaintances here. Recently, we have also been told that many people have a job waiting," Paloots added.
The number of Ukrainians applying for international protection in Estonia, has stabilized at around 200 applications per week, Iltalehti reports.
Light-fingered shoppers
Ilta-Sanomat writes (siirryt toiseen palveluun)that the number of incidents of shoplifting in Finland began to show a rise at the end of the last decade, with around 50,000 cases reported to the police in 2020.
According to Statistics Finland's most recent crime statistics, most shoplifting takes place in the province of Uusimaa, including the capital region, where approximately 20,000 shoplifting reports are made to the police per year.
Stores have implemented special arrangements for certain products to deter shoplifting. For example, the Lidl retail chain says that in some of its stores products have been shifted from the shelves to checkout counters. These products vary by store, but include, for example, vitamins, parmesan cheese, alcoholic beverages and razor blades.
Some anti-theft measures go to extremes. Petri Miettinen, director of Tripla Mall's K-Market and K-Supermarket stores, says that it was decided to completely remove large instant coffee refills.
"More of them were stolen than sold," Miettinen notes, adding that thieves are interested in more valuable products for which there is a secondary market. In addition, some goods are stolen for personal use.
When asked by Ilta-Sanomat what more unusual items items interest shoplifters, Miettinen answered without a moment's hesitation.
"Baby oil. Our loss is really, really, really high. To this day, I haven't figured out what it's being used for, but I have a hard time imagining it going into normal use."
Campaign vandals
The farmers' union paper Maaseudun Tulevaisuus (siirryt toiseen palveluun)reports that campaign posters promoting candidates in the 2 April parliamentary election have been the target of vandalism around the country.
The paper says that Finns Party posters were torn down in front of the City Hall in Tampere. Vandals have also targeted election ads of the SDP and the Greens in Ylöjärvi, in the Pirkanmaa region, and in North Savo roadside billboards for the campaign of a NCP candidate were riddled by airgun pellets. Similar vandalism has also been reported in Seinäjoki and Riihimäki.
The paper also reports that a campaign event by Centre Party candidate Mikko Kärnä was disrupted in central Helsinki by social media video producers posing as anti-vaccine citizen journalists.
Spring still being coy
Looking at the weather this coming week, Hufvudstadsbladet (siirryt toiseen palveluun)writes that temperatures are forecast to be somewhat warmer than the average for the time of year, but it doesn't look like the trend will last long.
The week will bring rain, sleet or snow and night frosts.
The paper quotes FMI meteorologist Juha Tuomala as saying that the thermal spring will be late this year. That is when the average daily temperature is above freezing for one week straight.

How to Rent a Car in Santa Clara: A Step-by-Step Guide for Travelers
Santa Clara, Cuba, is a vibrant city full of history, culture, and beautiful landscapes. For travelers who want the freedom to explore this fascinating region at their own pace, renting a car is the best option. Whether you’re visiting Che Guevara’s mausoleum or heading off the beaten path, a car rental in Santa Clara will make your trip more flexible and enjoyable.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the entire process of renting a car in Santa Clara, from booking to returning the vehicle, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Step 1: Research Your Car Rental Options
Before arriving in Santa Clara, it’s a good idea to research the available rental agencies. Many major car rental companies operate in Cuba, including Cubacar, Havanautos, and Rex, all offering various vehicle options.
To find the best deal and ensure availability, you can use websites like Cuba Travel Network or Rent Car Cuba, which compare prices from different companies.
Step 2: Choose the Right Car
Choosing the right vehicle depends on your travel plans and group size. For city travel, a compact car will suffice, but if you plan to explore more remote areas or travel with family, consider renting a larger, more robust vehicle like an SUV.
When making your decision, check for key details such as:
Insurance options
Mileage limits
Pick-up and drop-off locations
Make sure your vehicle meets your needs, and don’t forget to inquire about any extras like GPS, child seats, or additional drivers.
Step 3: Book Your Rental in Advance
Car rental demand in Cuba can be high, particularly during peak travel seasons. Therefore, booking your car rental in Santa Clara at least a few weeks before your trip is essential to avoid disappointment. Most agencies allow you to book online or through their customer service hotlines.
While you’re comparing options, make sure to search for car rental Santa Clara to find the best deals. Booking early often helps you secure lower prices and a wider selection of vehicles.
Step 4: Pick Up Your Car
When you arrive in Santa Clara, head to the car rental agency to pick up your vehicle. You’ll need to bring:
Your passport
A valid driver’s license
A credit card for the deposit
Once you’ve checked in, carefully inspect the car before driving away. Look for any pre-existing damage, ensure the fuel level matches what was promised, and confirm all insurance coverage details.
Step 5: Know the Driving Rules in Cuba
Driving in Cuba can be different from other countries, so it’s essential to familiarize yourself with the local driving rules. In Santa Clara, traffic is generally light, but you should still be cautious of pedestrians and cyclists.
Some key tips include:
Drive on the right side of the road
Use headlights at night
Avoid driving in rural areas after dark
Speed limits vary but are generally well-signposted. Be mindful of these to avoid any fines.
Step 6: Return the Car
Once your trip concludes, return your rental car to the designated drop-off location, making sure it’s in the same condition as when you picked it up. Be aware that most car rental agencies in Cuba require you to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel, so plan accordingly to avoid extra charges.
Benefits of Renting a Car in Santa Clara
Renting a car in Santa Clara offers several advantages:
Freedom to Explore: Unlike public transportation, having a car lets you visit attractions at your own pace.
Access to Hidden Gems: From the lush countryside to nearby beaches, many destinations around Santa Clara are easier to reach by car.

A Checklist to Find the Best Movers and Packers in Panchkula
Finding the right movers and packers in Panchkula is crucial for a smooth relocation experience. Use this checklist to ensure that you hire the best movers for your upcoming move.
1. Check for Licensing and Registration
Verify the company’s license and registration with local authorities.
Confirm their credentials with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) or relevant governing bodies.
Avoid unregistered movers to minimize the risk of fraud or poor service.
2. Get Recommendations and Read Reviews
Ask friends, family, and colleagues for recommendations based on their experiences.
Read online reviews on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and social media.
Look for consistent positive feedback about their services, timeliness, and professionalism.
3. Request In-Home Estimates
Schedule an in-home estimate where the movers assess your belongings in person.
Avoid companies that provide estimates over the phone without inspecting your items.
Ensure the estimate is detailed and includes the scope of services, with a clear cost breakdown.
4. Compare Multiple Quotes
Collect quotes from at least three different companies.
Ensure the pricing is transparent, with no hidden fees.
Choose a quote that offers value for money while meeting all your service requirements.
5. Check for Insurance Options
Confirm that the company offers insurance to cover damage or loss during the move.
Review the insurance options they provide and ensure the coverage is adequate for your belongings.
Ask about liability policies in case of accidental damage to property.
6. Evaluate Their Experience
Check how long the company has been in the moving industry.
Ask about their experience handling your type of move (residential, commercial, local, or long-distance).
Experienced movers are more likely to handle challenges efficiently.
7. Inspect Their Packing Materials and Equipment
Ask what kind of packing materials the company uses for fragile, valuable, and bulky items.
Verify that they use high-quality packing materials (bubble wrap, sturdy boxes, protective padding).
Check that they have the right equipment, such as dollies and ramps, for safely moving items.
8. Review Their Service Range
Ensure the company offers comprehensive services such as packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking.
Ask if they provide specialized services, such as handling fragile items, disassembling and reassembling furniture, or offering storage options.
Opt for a company that provides customized services based on your specific needs.
9. Examine Their Track Record and Reputation
Request references from previous customers and speak with them directly about their experiences.
Look for companies with a strong track record of punctuality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Avoid companies with frequent complaints or unresolved issues in reviews.
10. Evaluate Their Communication and Customer Support
Test how responsive the company is to your inquiries.
Clear and prompt communication is a sign of good customer service.
Ensure they provide updates and stay in touch throughout the moving process.
11. Ensure They Have Local Knowledge
If you are moving locally, ensure the company has a strong understanding of Panchkula and its surroundings.
Movers with local expertise can avoid traffic delays and ensure smooth transportation within the region.
12. Verify Payment Methods and Terms
Clarify payment terms, methods accepted, and when payment is due.
Be wary of companies that demand full payment upfront or require cash-only transactions.
Reputable companies offer flexible payment options and only ask for a deposit before the move.
13. Check for Any Additional Services
Inquire if the movers offer services like disassembly and reassembly of furniture, temporary storage, or moving special items (pianos, art, antiques).
If needed, ensure these services are included in the estimate.
Conclusion
By following this comprehensive checklist, you can confidently identify the best movers and packers in Panchkula for your next move. From verifying credentials to evaluating their customer service, each step ensures you hire a reliable and professional moving company that will handle your relocation with care and efficiency.
